the earlier dub for dragon ball was so cute to me, there where many mistranslations and it was reaaaaally censured but it was nice and overall pretty well done, and one of my favorites things was yamcha and puar's voice actor,

he voiced both of them and he sounded so nice, i genuenly loved his voice and it suits yamcha so well, he made him sound so sweet and chill, also i think a man voicing puar is way more appaling, bc he still sounds cute and friendlly but in a complitly different way that i really like.

saddly they changed this bc the series changed companies but his work was so good and im glad we got to hear this version of him ^^

Hace un año fallecó Jesus Barrero pero su voz es eterna

It's worth noticing that my biggest issue with this Saint Seiya adaptation is actually a regional problem, as the voice actor they choose for Seiya is absolutely terrible, (he's a TV celebrity, or something, not a professional voice actor) and complete disgrace the memory of his late original voice (RIP Jesus Barrero) and all the excellent voice actors they could have cast instead. :P

Kind of reminds me what happened with the English version of Mortal Kombat 11. For a publicity stunt, they replaced Sonya’s old VA with Ronda Rousey, the MMA Fightet/Pro Wrestler who cannot act, has never done voice acting (and it shows) and was such a horrible promo the WWE had to forcibly insert Charlotte Flair into her feud to carry the load when it came to talking.

If the show keeps going hopefully (key word hopefully) they recast him.

esta genial, siento que es una oportunidad para que nuevas generaciones y gente que nunca supo de la serie se una al fandom (varias personas incluso han empezado a ver la serie clasica qwq)

lo unico malo al menos del lado latino en la voz de Seiya ¡ES HORRIBLE! y considero que es una falta de respeto a Jesus Barrero unu

eso y la oportunidad de que Shun se volviera alguien que inspirara a mas personas, el es la clase de personaje que representa todo lo que ahora se motiva (dejar de lado las normas de genero en especifico) aunque Shun chica no esta tan mal

por cierto, inconsientemente crearon una nueva ship con Mitsumasa Kido y el General Graud ;D

Monsieur Pierre is alive!

Not sure if people will care about this, but I can’t help talking about it XD I think it’s something worth to mention since I've spend almost a lifetime searching this.

I finally found out who voiced Monsieur Pierre in the Mexican version of one my favorite childhood cartoons, Les Contes de la rue broca.

Ignacio Casas, broadcaster, reporter and voice actor of a lot cartoon shows and films...It’s alive!!!! :D

Which means I'll try to look up through all the world wide web to find some contact to congratulate him for his amazing performance! Like I did with a few of other Mexican voice actors in the past.

It’s been pretty good time sinceI don’t do this..since the last of the actors I contacted dissapointed me because he wasn’t nice and didn’t appreciated what I expressed...And what if this one isn’t appreciative as well?

...I’m too old for this you know! XD

Before when I was younger, I used to do this a lot, with illustrators, cartoonish, animators, voice actors and actresses...I could do this and have a bad experience and then stand up and overcome it, and continue with my life. But right now I’m not sure. My heart it’s too worn out and hurt by regular people, to be also hurt by actors and actresses I admire...

Yet I can’t help, I think I probably will try to contact him  anyways...

Because I don’t want that it happens like what happened with Steve Irwin, Tony Jay, Joe Ranft...or Jesus Barrero!!! Who did the spanish from mexico voice of a lot of my favorite cartoon characters. T_T They all died before I was able to contact them  to tell them anything. (And the list goes on, I just don’t want to mention them all cos well, it’s sad. )

Maybe it’s a God’s sign? Since I wasn’t looking for it, it’s been a good while I stopped looking for his name. I found it today by chance and it was a coincidence...

I don’t believe in coincidences though! As Master Oogway's said “there are no accidents”.  And in my exprerience, when stuff like this happens, it’s usually a sign and when I’ve payed attention to it that I had  cool opportunities in my life.

Sorry for the rambling heheh, I didn’t mean to bore you folks...I was just thinking about this and I couldn’t sleep. So probably this counts as late night ramblings *chuckles*
