Thoughts on Jeremy Brasieri's background story?

....well

Honestly...it hit home. As someone who is Vietnamese/Chinese yet living in America and thus, Americanzied...there's this sense of isolation within him. To reconcile with parts of your culture and self that are wholey different. I expected many things outta him but not this.

Characters like these hit me hard bc of this, this struggle between all sorts of sides but I'm eager to see how this goes
