"I like jokes, and in the old days it was easy to hide them because I didn't catch on very often, so people thought: "Well, it can't be him!" All the nonsense, for example, when we signed up for Rainbow and lived together, I filled the refrigerator, telling everyone that they did not go to the refrigerator except for one person. Es el primer álbum de Stratovarius que cuenta con el bajista Lauri Porra y el guitarrista Matias Kupiainen, tras la salida del ex bajista Jari Kainulainen de la banda en 2005 y la salida del ex guitarrista Timo Tolkki en 2008. Timo Kotipelto, que en el momento del lanzamiento de Polaris había sido miembro de Stratovarius durante más tiempo (desde 1994) entre los miembros actuales, consideró a Polaris como "el álbum que salvó a la banda" y dijo que "sin él no habría ningún Stratovarius". Pasó más tiempo entre el lanzamiento del álbum homónimo de Stratovarius, Stratovarius, en 2005, y el lanzamiento de Polaris que entre cualquier otro álbum consecutivo lanzado por la banda. Joe still has drummer @ emigrateofficial in his IG bio and him and Richard still follow each other so i doubt there's any actual bad blood between them. But i do agree with Anon that the (seemingly) sudden switch from being around Richard all the time to almost never being with him and hanging out with Till all the time instead feels kinda odd.

he does indeed, that's why i thought it remarkable that he has the drummer emoji with Emigrate and the 🤡 emoji with Till Lindemann

all the more because he isn't actually listed as drummer playing on the Emigrate albums, on The Persistence of Memory it's Mikko Siren, Jens Dreesen, Henka Johansson. Mikko Siren is drumming on A Million Degrees and Silent so long, Henka Johansson on Emigrate. Joe Letz just plays the drummer in the Emigrate videos.

And as Richard has said more than once he has no plans to play live with Emigrate (at least he did so far, but Richard changes his mind regularly), and Joe does get to play drums live with Till, maybe that's why there was a little shift in focus for him 🌺
