As you may have seen, today is the last day of publishing for Sports On Earth. I wrote many, many words for Sports On Earth, but I also hosted more than 500 The Will Leitch Experience podcasts. For the first two years, the show was in fact a daily podcast, which seems insane now. I do not know if the podcast itself is going to continue – obviously Grierson & Leitch and WSLS are continuing – but if it does, it won’t be under the Sports On Earth name.
So at the very least, this seems like a good time to reflect on the podcast itself. I don’t know if I’m the best interviewer, but my philosophy on podcasts has always been that if you get two smart people and just tape them talking to one another, you can’t help but capture something worthwhile, even accidentally. I loved doing the show because I loved talking to smart people about things they cared about. That’s what podcasts are for, I think: To dig deep into things with people who don’t usually get to dig deep on things. That was always the goal.
And we had a rather insane assortment of guests, from Patrick Stewart to Peter Billingsley to Red Panda Acrobat. Below is a list of every guest every to appear on The Will Leitch Experience podcast. This seems about as thorough a cross-section of sports media over the last five years that I can come up with.

Dry Skin? Flakey Skin? Dehydrated Skin? What Skincare Ingredients Should You Be Looking For?
Dry Skin? Flakey Skin? Dehydrated Skin? What Skincare Ingredients Should You Be Looking For? As we age, not only does our skin produce less oils, it also loses it’s ability to retain moisture. So, unless you want dry, dull, flakey, crepey, shriveled up skin, then you have to find a really good balance with your skincare regiment. Just as important as it is to include ingredients that help to reverse some of the signs of aging and some of the damage that we’ve done over the years, it’s just as important to include ingredients that hydrate and moisturize the skin because that’s what’s going to give your skin that supple, smooth, plumpness.
*DEHYDRATED skin lacks WATER *DRY skin lacks Oil, LIPIDS and MOISTURE
Dehydrated skin tends to look dull and feel tight, even when properly moisturized. Dry skin can result in rough, dry or flaky skin
Humectants: A humectant is an ingredient that draws water molecules out of its environment towards itself. This helps rehydrate the skin’s surface, but can cause some irritation to the skin in high concentrations.
Humectants = Hydration
Examples of Humectants are: Hyaluronic Acid Glyerin Glycerol Propylene glycol Urea Gycolic acid Lactic acid Honey Glycolic Acid Lactic Acid Sortbitol
Emollients: An emollient is an ingredient that smooths the skin’s surface by filling in cracks between skin cells. Emollients include ingredients that replenish your skin’s oil, lipid and moisture barrier.
Emollients = Moisture
Examples of Emollients: Ceramides Castor Oil Aloe Sesame seed oil Safflower oil Argan Oil Olive Oil Coconut Oil
Occlusive Agents: Ingredients in skincare that form a film on the skin and prevent water loss. They can be very effective, but can feel waxy or greasy on the skin. They typically have a very thick texture and come in a tub.
Occlusive Agents: *Prevent Water Loss *Protect against Environmental Factors
Examples of Occlusive Agents: Petrolatum Petroleum Jelly Mineral Oil Castor Oil Parrafin Lanolin Shea Butter Silicones Dimethicone Jojoba Oil
***It’s important to note that several ingredients can fall into more than one category.

This is Angie from HOT & FLASHY...
She’s one of my favorite beauty vloggers, because she always keeps it so real & is not afraid to take one for the team, showing us her pores up close, zooming in on her grey hairs & trying out a huge variety of products on herself.
*Other Over 40 Beauty Vloggers To Watch :
Melissa55 is stunning. I believe she’s in her 60s now & looks like a supermodel. She also happens to have a heart that matches her beautiful exterior... https://www.youtube.com/user/volmel55
Jenifer Jenkins reminds me of someone I would’ve hung out with back in high school & then made sure to stay in touch with over the years. She can be really funny & is always onto some new skin care discovery. I don’t share her enthusiasm for “shedding”, but I do enjoy hearing her talk about it- or anything really... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyBNa0MJigRNsGl-II6Gdcg
LisaLisaD1 is a major rambler & has such a kooky personality, which I happen to enjoy. She is also super sweet & has managed to parlay her shopping obsession into what I can only describe as the QVC of Youtube. This woman was born to be on some shopping channel or other- and here she is running her own... https://www.youtube.com/user/LisaLisaD1
I do realize that all of these women are blonde & white, but that’s because I am blonde & white and tend to gravitate toward beauty vloggers who share my coloring. If a shade or product works for them, it’s more likely to work for me, and I like to see what these things look like on someone else before parting with my cash.
If you have any Over 40 beauty vlogger favorites who are NOT white & blonde, please feel free to add them here. That would be great!
