How to give your best in IIT JEE Mains Exam 2021?
Did you know that the NTA JEE Main 2021 will be conducted 4 times in 2021? The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main exam in four sessions this year - in February, March, April and May. Also known as IIT JEE Mains Exam, these exams will be conducted to screen students for admission to undergraduate engineering programs throughout India. Students can be admitted directly to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and other participating institutes and universities through this test. Eligible students can take JEE Advanced exams for admission to the prestigious IITs.
Online IIT JEE coaching provider, Anil Mishra, says, “This is good news for those who are preparing to crack JEE exams as they will have multiple chances to improve their test scores now.”
You have four chances to crack IIT JEE Main 2021.
An engineering aspirant can register and appear for IIT JEE Mains 2021 in all the four sessions. It means that if a student fails to give their best in the first attempt or has not been able to take the exam for some reason, he or she can register for the next phase of the exam and appear for it once again. It saves them from wasting a whole academic year to re-take the exam and allows them to learn from their previous mistakes and score more next time.
Aman is very happy with this development. He has both Maths and Biology is Class 12 and is attending both online IIT JEE coaching and AIIMS coaching in Oman. He says, “The new announcement has given me a new wave of motivation to work more on my IIT JEE preparation. I am planning to sit for the JEE Main exam in February and if I do not score well, I can always re-register for the next session as Plan B.”
Can IIT online classes help me crack the JEE Main exam in one month?
Mohammad Akram offers IIT coaching in Qatar. He says, "In my experience, most students need 6-7 months of rigorous studies to crack the JEE Main exam. You need to cover 16 chapters in Mathematics, 21 chapters in Physics, and 28 chapters in Chemistry - which come to a total of 66 chapters. If you keep 2 days to prepare one chapter, you need 134 days or around four and a half months to cover each chapter. You also need two to three months to revise the syllabus and practice JEE Main previous year papers, mock tests, and sample tests.”
He continues, “But if you insist on doing it all in one month, you will have to cover about three chapters a day and use the remaining 7-8 days for revision and solving mock tests. It's not impossible but it requires rigorous and intensive efforts. IIT online classes can help you speed up the preparation by providing you concise study material, selected questions, and detailed analysis of the tests you take."
Is it wise to opt for IIT JEE Main exam 2021 being held in February?
Debashish is taking online IIT coaching in Dubai for the last two years. He says, “Earlier, I was planning to sit for the JEE Main exams in April or May – after my Class 12 board exams would have got over. But now that the CBSE has shifted the practical exam dates to March and the board exam dates to May, I have registered for the February session. During my online IIT preparation, I realized that the Class 12 board exam syllabus and JEE Main syllabus is largely the same. So, I will focus on the JEE Main preparations and sample papers right now and will focus on solving the previous years’ Class 12 board exam papers later.”
Venkatesh, another student attending IIT coaching in Qatar, says, “My preparation for the exams is almost complete. I want to sit for the first phase of JEE Main 2021 exam and get over with it. In case, I manage to get a good enough score for some reason, I will have a chance to analyze my mistakes and avoid them when I re-take the exam in March or April. I do not want to wait till the May session because having both the Class 12 board exams and JEE Mains exam in the same month would be stressful.”
So, if you are ready, you can take the exam early. If you need more time for preparation, you can register for the next phase of the JEE Mains exam.
