updated david tennant collection!!!! :D with labels of where I got them because gatekeeping is NOT cool. this is where the etsy money is going btw (majority of the money spent here has gone to charity, especially on the dvds)

Francine Headcannons (takin over the asylum)

she hated Campbell at first because he was so loud, but she eventually grew to like him

her and Fergus got along well, even before the station

she used to keep bugs as a kid, and ended up with a bunch of jars of dead things

she eventually got out of the asylum, since she’d been getting better, and now she lives with Eddie

they want to get married but they’re both broke so they had a fake ceremony with everyone who worked at the hospital radio station

they even saved a chair for Fergus and put his picture on it

she loves animals and small things

she’s always got stones or beads in her pockets

once she was trusted with sharp objects again, she learned how to sew

she works as an assistant at a school

she eventually stopped smoking, and now just eats hard candies

she learned how to make friends and goes to book club once a month now

Eddies grandmother still calls home, she absolutely adores Francine now

So for the upcoming Takin’ Over the Asylum week (organized by @princeloww and @jaykinarts), I’m planning on writing some short fics, and I’m guessing that if you found this post you might be doing the same. However! I am very bad at proofreading my own work! And I suspect that I am not alone in this plight! So! If anyone wants to be beta-reading buddies, please message me! I must admit that I’m not Scottish myself, so I can’t help with specific dialect questions, but I like to think I’m good at general spelling and grammar.

would anyone be interested in/likely to participate in a rerun of TOTA Takeover this December?

for those that missed it: takin over the asylum takeover was an event me and @jaykinarts ran last December, that basically worked as a TOTA appreciation week. Each day follows a different character/thing, and you post about that character on that day. Posts can range from random thoughts, incoherent ramblings, photos, gifsets, fanfiction, art, literally anything - as long as it's on the right day and tagged as '#tota takeover".

while the point is to appreciate takin over the asylum, it's also about filling the tag with some non-campbell centric posts and appreciation, and giving (particularly) the women of the show some deserved attention

i feel like it'd be nice to make it an annual thing. would anyone be interested in participating?

would probably be the 2nd week of December again, 9th-14th

Rosalie headccannons (takin over the asylum)

this was requested by @jaykinarts (another wonderful moot)

she used to have a locket with her sons picture in it, but it got taken away when she was admitted

she often acts as a mother to some of the younger patients (Campbell included)

she was a preschool teacher before being admitted

she loves to cook, and while living in hillcrest she’d make meals for everyone on her floor

she was the first one to know about what Francine went through, and she held her all night while she cried

she never had another kid, but she did foster some once she was well enough to go back home

she still never eats lettuce

every year on Fergus’s death, she has a dinner party for him.

she stayed in Campbell room the night after Fergus jumped, since he didn’t like that he slept alone now

she helped Eddie find a new job, and sometimes still brings meals over to his house.
