Bajaj recently rolled out new colour schemes for the RS 200 which make the motorcycle look sportier than before. But we still think that it is time now that Bajaj should think of updating the RS 200 thoroughly.

The Yamaha R15 is another excellent choice when it comes to aggressive, faired sports bikes under INR 2 Lakh. Don’t let its displacement fool you. Deliveries of the Jawa and the Forty Two eventually began to trickle out  in early 2019, albeit with huge waiting periods as the company could not keep pace with demand. The Perak, however, never went on sale and after over one and a half years it seems like it’s finally about to change. We say it seems, because Jawa has not made an official announcement, but has instead put out a historical video with a few teasers throw in in that show the numbers 20, 07 and 2020 in different places where the Perak is featured.  For some history on the long delayed Perak, in November 2019, a year after the bike was first showcased, Jawa launched it in BS6-spec at Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This was a Rs 6,000 increase over the originally announced price of Rs 1.89 lakh as the engine was now upgraded to BS6 norms. However, despite being ‘launched’, customers could not get the bike and bookings were only opened on January 1, 2020, with deliveries set to begin on April 2, 2020. This was quite a significant waiting period on its own – just like we saw with the last two Jawa models – but the onset of the pandemic only made it longer.  Putting the frustratingly long wait aside, here’s what the bike has to offer. The Jawa Perak will be powered by a BS6-compliant 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that develops 30hp and 31Nm of torque. The Perak also uses a different subframe and suspension setup at the rear, when compared to the other two models. It employs a monoshock and features a disc brake at both ends, with dual-channel ABS as standard. Its USP, however is the bobber styling with a low and long stance. नई दिल्ली. सब 400 सीसी मोटरसाइकिल को भारतीय बाजार में प्रीमियम बाइक्स के तौर पर देखा जाता है। इसलिए बाजार में इस सेगमेंट की मोटरसाइकिल की काफी लंबी रेंज उपलब्ध है, जिसमें नेकेड स्ट्रीटफाइटर्स, एडवेंचर टूरर, फुली फेयर्ड और क्��ूजर शामिल हैं। चूंकि यह एक प्रीमियम सेगमेंट है इसलिए किसी एक बाइक को चुनना काफी मुश्किल भरा काम है। हमने आपके लिए इसे आसान बनाने की कोशिश की है और बाजार में टॉप-5 BS6 कंप्लेंट सब-400 सीसी मोटरसाइकिलों की एक लिस्ट तैयार की है-

1. जावा पेराक

जावा मोटरसाइकिल्स लंबे समय बाद साल 2018 में भारतीय बाजार में वापसी की। कंपनी ने जावा पेराक के साथ दो अन्य मोटरसाइकिल लॉन्च की, जिसमें जावा और जावा 42 शामिल हैं। जावा और जावा 42 दोनों में सिर्फ लुक्स का अंतर है। दोनों में ही 293 सीसी का इंजन मिलता है, जो 26.51 पीएस का मैक्सिमम पावर और 27.05 एनएम का मैक्सिमम टॉर्क जनरेट करता है। जावा की शुरुआती दिल्ली एक्स शोरूम कीमत 1.73 लाख रुपए जबकि जावा 42 की शुरुआती दिल्ली एक्स शोरूम कीमत 1.60 लाख रुपए है।

4. टीवीएस अपाचे आरआर 310

अपाचे आरआर 310 भारतीय बाजार में टीवीएस की एक फ्लैगशिप मोटरसाइकिल है और वर्तमान में इसकी शुरुआती एक्स शोरूम कीमत 2.4 लाख रुपए है। बाइक में 312.2 सीसी का सिंगल-सिलेंडर, 4 स्ट्रोक, 4 वाल्व, लिक्विड-कूल्ड इंजन मिलता है, जो 9,700 आरपीएम पर 34 पीएस का मैक्सिमम पावर और 7,700 आरपीएम पर 27.3 एनएम का पीक टॉर्क जनरेट करती है।

5. रॉयल एनफील्ड क्लासिक 350

रॉयल एनफील्ड क्लासिक 350 में बीएस 6 कंप्लेंट 346 सीसी सिंगल-सिलेंडर, 4 स्ट्रोक, ट्विनस्पार्क, एयर-कूल्ड इंजन लगा है। यह 5,250 आरपीएम पर 20 पीएस का मैक्सिमम पावर और 4,000 आरपीएम पर 28 एनएम टॉर्क जनरेट करता है। इसमें 5-स्पीड मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन मिलता है। बाइक की शुरुआती एक्स शोरूम कीमत 1.59 लाख रुपए है।

6. बजाज डोमिनार 400

बजाज डोमिनार 400 वर्तमान में भारतीय बाजार में उपलब्ध सबसे किफायती पावर क्रूजर बाइक है। इसमें 373.3 सीसी का सिंगल-सिलेंडर, लिक्विड कूल्ड इंजन है, जो 40 पीएस का मैक्सिमम पावर और 35 एनएम का पीक टॉर्क जनरेट करता है। यह स्लिपर क्लच के साथ 6-स्पीड गियरबॉक्स के साथ आता है। बाइक की एक्स शोरूम कीमत 1.94 लाख रुपए है।

7. केटीएम 390 ड्यूक

केटीएम 390 ड्यूक इस सेगमेंट में सबसे पावरफुल मोटरसाइकिल है। इसमें बीएस 6 कंप्लेंट 373.3 सीसी का लिक्विड-कूल्ड, DOHC, सिंगल-सिलेंडर इंजन लगा है, जो 45 पीएस का मैक्सिमम पावर और 37 एनएम का पीक टॉर्क जेनरेट करता है। इसमें 6-स्पीड गियरबॉक्स मिलता है। बाइक में एक स्टील ट्रेलिस फ्रेम मिलता है जिसे फ्रंट में USD फोर्क पर और रियर के प्रीलोड-एडजस्टेबल मोनोशॉक में सस्पेंड किया गया है। केटीएम 390 ड्यूक की शुरुआती एक्स शोरूम कीमत 2.58 लाख रुपए है।

केटीएम ने इस साल की शुरुआत में भारतीय बाजार में अपनी पहली एडवेंचर बाइक के तौर पर केटीएम 390 एडवेंचर लॉन्च की। एडवेंचर टूरर ने अपनी अंडरपिनिंग 390 ड्यूक के साथ शेयर की है यानी ��समें 373.3 सीसी सिंगल-सिलेंडर इंजन मिलता है। हालांकि, डोनर बाइक केटीएम 390 ड्यूक की तुलना में 390 एडवेंचर में लंबा ट्रैवल सस्पेंशन मिलता है। केटीएम 390 एडवेंचर की एक्स शोरूम कीमत 2.99 लाख रुपए है।
