How would Calvin react to Selkie!Jason trusting him with his coat? Assuming they've known each other for a good while now, whether on the streets or both live in the manor, but it's the first time Jason is trusting Calvin specifically with a part of his soul 🦭🦭

Calvin would steadfastly refuse to make a big deal out of it. He’s secretly ecstatic over the show of trust, absolutely! But more often than not he uses the pelt as a nice, weighted blanket whenever Jay isn’t around/forgot his pelt laying around. And Calvin obviously isn’t going to just leave it in a random place, nah-uh, it’s much safer if he’s got his eyes on it. He’ll just… take a quick nap with it. Make sure nobody’s gonna take it.

Jay’s pelt is a hardcore comfort item for Calvin because of the trust it symbolizes and the absolute SOFTNESS of the fur.
