Semi based on their canon music taste or what I think their music taste should be and trying to be dutiful to keeping a general similar tone to the playlist. That and what lyrics fit them.

#guys some of these playlists are 6+ hours long so uh. my bad #I’ve been accumulating them for over 3 months #Bruce has a more doom & gloom vibe to his playlist #with a few of ones on his kid’s playlists on there too #did the same with Kon’s and Tim’s where they share some music taste randomly #Jason is more (as the title says) originally had a 80s-00s dad metal vibe #but slowly devolved into songs about sacrifice. resurrection. revival. and betrayal.#for Tims I tried for a mostly time accurate one (00s and earlier) of punk rock and metal (because of him inheriting the role from #Jason his connection to Bruce and Tim being friends with kon (who canonically listens to Metallica so I expanded upon that)#also. Kon’s is time accurate. as the title says. the biggest issue I had was trying to find female artists with the same tone kon canon #likes bc I mainly listen to male metal artists and Spotify does Not Help when trying to explore a new genre of music the one time you try #to look. and as it’s time accurate I couldn’t include Scene Queen but he’d totally listen to them.#kon likes girl bands that sing loudly about a) drugs b) sex c) being famous & others using you for your status or image #which uh. yeah that last one really tracks with his 94 characterization #and also kon has metal that fits him in there bc he canonically likes metal too:)#its been such a wild experience trying to find stuff to fit these because other than Jason’s playlist… I didn’t listen to the other genres #of music. like Bruce’s playlist has some doom metal and black metal. & various other slower genres of metal #but black metal? lmao it sounds like someone made the vocalist eat gravel and put the vocals through a blender it fits him so well #but I Definitely don’t listen to punk rock anymore. used to & working on Tim’s playlist has kinda gotten me back into listening to it?#so if I had to pick a playlist that I was most uncertain that it fit the character’s music taste it would be Tim’s #barts is general ‘gotta go fast’ stuff #but ‘run to the hills’ is specifically a song bc I imagine it reminds bart of max #bones writes in the tags #Billy’s music taste #character playlists #Spotify
