@jadesabre301​ thank you for your constant enabling of me in this- so there are five members of the cabin 8 party, as well as two npc’s we travel with and a guest (also, fun fact, minus the guest, everyone was in the wj discord so you might actually know most of the players lol)!!!! you already know quite a bit about my lil gnome druid breena, so we’ll skip her this time.

a few months older than her but still fifteen is esther, our human warlock. her dad was abusive towards her mom, so while at camp, one day she wished that he would disappear. the monster in the lake listened, and the next summer, she swore her allegiance. she’s intelligent, slow to trust, and hates situations where she doesn’t have the control. unfortunately, she also has on a cloak that speaks to her, charms her, modifies her memory, and she can’t take it off. 

the next oldest is the sea elf wizard parci- full name parcival valerian lurin harnell sopral von meer- at 16. his father is wizard walt disney, his mother is a normal scientist, and his life is basically what would’ve happened if the parent trap parents had only had one kid. except eventually the paparazzi figured it out. he’s got a +5 to intelligence and a +0 to wisdom and charisma and it shows. but he’s also a sweetheart and a dork underneath the posh wizard exterior. 

our hobgoblin paladin ezekiel crumpet thompson jr. is 17, so he goes next. his father was (he was recently murdered) fantasy jeff bezos but also an abusive dad on top of that, who taught his son that the only things in the world that matter are money, strength, and legacy. ezekiel took that to heart, wearing a three piece suit under his armor every day and trying to do his father proud. but when his first real friends ever are trying to stop the bad guys his dad is working with, conflict arises. 

and last but certainly not least is mal, our dragonborn (?) rogue. mal is weird. we’re 99.999% sure mal is actually a young white dragon and just doesn’t know it yet. we’re at the beginning of the mal arc, so tbd. either way, she’s a sweet, hyper ball of chaos with a love of shinies and daggers who must not be let near caffeine or sugar under any circumstances. 

we also travel with a dryad girl named aletha who’s family were all murdered when the fire cult burnt down their grove. also, our summer camp counselor vyz was hired by parci’s dad to drive us places/make sure we don’t try to get more involved in saving the world than he’s personally comfortable with. they’re a badass changeling monk with a tortured past who’s offered to take breena in after all of this.

and our guest character is jason, a delightful half-orc himbo who attended camp many years ago before getting lost in the woods and adopted by bears. he’s a sweet big boi and we love him. 

but yeah, those are all the major players. we also have a million au’s and timelines and fics with shit planned out (you don’t wanna know how much effort went into parci and breena’s wedding lol) but this is what’s important to know for actual canon stuff!!!

should i explain breena and her party (mostly her party) at some point? it seems like i’m constantly rambling about them with little to no context and it might be a good idea to explain who these kids are
