i often get distracted by how handsome Jared Padalecki is, i almost forget how much I love the sound of his voice. As Sam, Thomas Kinkade and Clay Miller he talks in this soft, honeyed voice that's husky with measured pauses. As Dean Forester and Wade Felton, his voice is a bit more crisp but a little nasally. As Cordell and Camden, it's hoarse, scratchy, gruff like someone who barks orders for a living (which his character kinda does). Will somebody get this man to read an audiobook?! 🥺

The con was amazing, legit the best experience of my life. Aside from my wedding day. So much to unpack! We got to meet them both, I got to have Jared’s arms wrapped around me. He called me darlin once and doll twice. His Texan accent got me….he smelled so goddamn good. His scent overpowered my perfume both days I got photo ops with him and Jensen. The eye contact….THE MF EYE CONTACT. Jared stared right into my soul and it was literally 3 - 5 seconds of it everytime. And the crazy thing was it was close to the eye fucking he gives Jensen/Dean. It was for a special photo op I requested where he make my wife jealous lol If it was exactly on that level I would have passed out. My knees were soooo weak. They are so insanely more beautiful in person than just through a screen. The Gold panel and the main J2 panel were amazing! Of course they couldn’t stand/sit too far apart from eachother. I know alot of Nash-con content is already floating around but it was unreal to witness in person. I could have listened to them talk all day! They had their handsy and cute mushy moments 😏

I’m still reeling from the weekend. Everyone was so nice! There was a few incidents that happened that as a fan I am appalled by their behavior - towards other fans and even towards one of our boys. I will divulge more tomorrow for wincest Wednesday, as I am still recovering but lemme just say - if you ever get the chance, friggin go to a con! They are legit the most down to earth, raunchy as hell in the best way, most beautiful humans to ever grace our screens and in real life. It was completely worth it! We will be making this a yearly tradition! 🩷🩷

Also - Jared does absolutely give the best hugs. Pure seratonin in the form of him. I’ve been on cloud 9 since 🫠

Sam Girls United

i love how, we as Sam Girls, from different countries, race, background, ethnicities, watch Supernatural and invariably agree on these things...

His Carhartt jacket is just as iconic as Dean's leather jacket and we miss it.

Sam's anger towards John is completely valid as someone who believed in questioning everything instead of blindly following orders.

It wasn't selfish of Sam to ask for the last of lucky charms. Plus, he really didn't eat it. He plucked out the toy from the packet and offered it to him.

Sam was a lonely kid and this has nothing to do with Dean.

He grew up believing he was a freak and unclean.

He didn't have closer bonds outside of Dean and it fucks us up.

Sam didn't start the apocalypse. It was a result of combined efforts of angels, demons and unknowingly Dean but Sam ended up being the fall guy.

Loss of bodily autonomy!!!!

Soulless Sam was nobody's fault but Castiel's.

Soulless Sam was hot and we stand by him.

Just because Sam hit a dog and didn't look for Dean doesn't mean he does not care about his brother.

Dean tricking Sam into letting Gadreel possess him was a worse betrayal than Sam not looking for Dean when he was in purgatory.

We are suckers for Sam Whump/hurt Sam because we love how pretty he looks when he is hurt!

Majority of us don't like sabriel or sastiel.

Demon Dean not feeding Sam his blood was a missed opportunity!!

Sam is BAMF and you can't tell us otherwise!

Bonus: Jared's eyes are sunflowers and he is a freakin ray of sunshine

anytime I see Jared Padalecki doing interviews there's one thing that stands out quite clearly and that's how mature and intellectual he comes across in those. I'm talking about his interviews from early twenties. A lot of actors are either awkward, shy or downright play it cool but Jared actually comes out smart. There's a certain poise he carries and this is consistent even today (I invite you to think outside of comic con panels). His answers are genuine and laced with seriousness and i don't see him being evasive or brushing off questions. He is very grounded and humble, yet another quality that is rare among actors. It's also very obvious that Jared is grateful of the opportunities he has had whether it's Gilmore Girls, House of Wax, Supernatural or Walker. And there's nothing more attractive than a man who is not only aware but also values what he has.

Just few hours to go before we say hello to sociopath Camden Casey!!!!!

Hello, Camden!

*spoilers ahead..kinda..*

It's going to be Camden Casey's character analysis from his three episode arc. This is part 1..

Casey's character is everything that people of Station 42 aren't with his rebellious Dodgers jacket, shorts and flip flops. He gives the vibe of someone looking to stir trouble in Edgewater. When Diego's buddies come for Bode, Jake tries to diffuse the situation but Camden goes on seeking the trouble out as a flying flip flop makes a good aim for that bully's face. What follows next is an action sequence with Camden, now bare feet, fighting of the trouble makers without breaking a sweat (sweet Jaysus that was hot). Oh! And I'm guessing the throw of salt and pepper was tribute to Supernatural!

During the plan rescue scene, we see Camden taking charge of the situation and his cadet, pushing him harder. Bode of course doesn't disappoint. Camden's recklessness and reluctance for following procedure is reinforced leaving Jake troubled by his methods.

Back at station 42, that idiot vaper accidentally sets fire to somebody's suitcase, endangering the fire station. Once again, Camden tries to douse the fire with water but the chemical compounds in it risk further danger. For a minute it seems like Camden acted without a thought but the next minute, he gathers himself and suggests taking the pallet outside and letting it burn.

Though Camden comes across as someone impulsive, what I love is why he is like that. That little emotional backstory for Camden is a wonderful addition to his character. It also goes to show his honesty.

In his brief interaction with Bode, he promises Bode to help him become a good firefighter and that's what I love the most about Casey. Unlike Jake, who is too hard on Bode, restricting him from giving his best, Camden Casey seems to be opposite, willing to let Bode shine.

I disagree with Sharon. I don't think Camden is a sociopath but damn it would be fun to see these two characters share a scene. The job showed him that sometimes trusting your gut over a process can save a lot more lives. Although, i wonder if Camden fighting Diego's buddies is going come bite him in the ass. Last time a firefighter punched someone, albeit a Chief, they landed in three rock. Looking at you, Manny Perez. So I don't know if that's going to go sour for him.

Now that we have talked about the Camden's part in the episode, i just wanna say I'm super thrilled to see what more Camden brings to the story. I want to see him interacting a lot more with Bode and even three rock inmates for that matter. I'm excited to get to know his character deeper, see what makes him tick. His interaction with Gabriela may be an interesting one especially if he feels she is a distraction for Bode. Audrey has Camden's temperament so, that's another duo i'd like to see.

One of the things that I noticed as have others, is that Camden is seen wearing a wedding band. I don't know if that's Jared's real band or not but if it's a character thing, it would be amazing to see if there's another backstory there. Maybe, his wife died with the 10 crew members?? I don't know but it will be nice to explore that!

A three episode arc may not cover all of it, but I hope they give us something to hold onto so that I'd excited for a potential spin off focusing on Camden.

No doubt Jared did a great job with this character, his body language is a lot more arrogant in this which I loooove. I think he opted to give Camden a deeper voice and I'm enjoying that. It's refreshing to see him play a character that's not afraid to stand his ground and let loose the inner rebel.
