Gays for 9 years from November 1999 to November 2008! Boy for girlfriends first, then you hang out boy, boy acquaintance like the bible says. But Trey Burke lll on the right and Jared Sullinger left didn't know because their parents never said to them that they needed at least one girlfriend first before knowing boy acquaintances second. I've known them both for 21 years since November 3rd. 2001 in Columbus, Ohio. Hopefully they were both baptized at church like everyone has to be before resting in peace! Amen! Hallelujah! Also Trey Burke lll still did not start his 3 hours of Mario Kart Nintendo 64 with me yet like he wanted me to do with him and I told him girlfriend first, then we can play second, But Trey Burke lll never had a girlfriend first before knowing boys second. Jared Sullinger left don't owe me anything!

Basketball in East Asia
By: Jithin Manikonda
Growing up, basketball has been one my most favorite sports to play and watch! Although the sport of basketball has its roots in the US, globalization has allowed the sport to become popular all throughout the world, including as far away as East Asia.
The history of basketball spans back to 1891, when James Naismith hoped to invent a game to help young men in Springfield College located in Springfield, Massachusetts find a way to pass time. This school had many different names, one of which was “YMCA.” Even though basketball was just slowly gaining traction as a sport in the US, it did not take much longer for the sport to spread to Asia as a result of YMCA missionaries. Specifically in China around the 1920s, the sport started to become popular and about a decade later was declared a national pastime. In fact, China created an Olympic team for the sport in 1936 and used the sport to spread ideas of team work and the “friendship first, competition second” among children. This importance of basketball beyond friendship is still practiced today: NBA Asia managing director Scott Levy and many other generous philanthropists frequently hold camps and other events in East Asia to enrich the lives of aspiring kids.
Similar to the National Basketball Association, there is a basketball league in East Asia called the East Asian Super League, or EASL. This year, the East Asia Super League’s season will tip off in October 2022, just like the National Basketball Association. The EASL, however, has eight teams representing much larger areas: Greater China, Korea, Philippines, and Japan. From these areas, professional teams, including TNT Tropang Giga, San Miguel Beermen, Utsunomiya Brex, Seoul SK Knights, Taipei Fubon Braves, Ryukyu Golden Kings, Bay Area Dragons, and Anyang KGC. These teams will face each other in a home-and-away fashion until March 2023, where they will have a Final Four playoffs in order to determine the victor for the basketball season. However, there are many other leagues and clubs where basketball is played at many different levels, showing the willingness of East Asia to feed the love for the sport for everyone.
Basketball in East Asia has even been expressed in popular culture, such as anime and manga. For example, there are three animes that many anime-lovers and sports-lovers may have heard of: Slam Dunk, Kuroko’s Basketball, and Ahiru No Sora. All these anime deal with the hardships, competitive nature, and teamwork that come with basketball. For many sports lovers, these animes have undoubtedly had an impact on the increasing popularity of basketball within East Asia.
There are many players of East Asian descent that have made an everlasting impact on the National Basketball Association, the highest level of professional basketball in the world. To name a few, Jordan Clarkson, Jeremy Lin, and Yuta Watanabe are a few players that are still playing today. Although he has retired, Yao Ming, who is often referred to as the basketball G.O.A.T. of Asia, has undoubtedly made an impact on basketball all around the world and is undoubtedly recognized as one of the greatest big men to ever play the sport. There are also many players from the NBA who join leagues in East Asia, such as Lance Stephenson, Jalen Green, and Jared Sullinger.
There are so many more fun aspects to basketball that I can just keep talking on and on about! So if you love basketball like me, next time you visit East Asia for an elongated period of time, you should really consider going to one of the game of the EASL or see how basketball is played in different neighborhoods of East Asia and come back to this post and let me know how it went!

On this day in Bucks history, in 2015 the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Boston Celtics in a nail-biter 96-93 win at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
The Bucks had a 53-46 lead at half and maintained the momentum for the remainder of the game. Milwaukee won largely thanks to a 26/4/5 performance from point guard Brandon Knight, who was 4/8 from outside. The game was a lot closer than many people anticipated, as the Celtics went into the game with a measly 19-30 record, and Milwaukee was just coming off a very close 6 point loss to the Houston Rockets.
Boston’s leading scorer was power forward Jared Sullinger who put up 17 points in the loss, making 8/14 FGs after playing for 30:34. The Celtics ultimately came up just short in their efforts against Milwaukee.
Both teams would go on to make the 2015 playoffs, however both got eliminated in the first round. Milwaukee would lose 4-2 to the Chicago Bulls and Boston would lose 4-0 to the LeBron James led Cleveland Cavaliers.

Jared Sullinger shows something at "The Basketball Tournament" with a 26 & 10 performance
Getting hurt, traded and cut last season wasn’t how Jared Sullinger envisioned the end of his NBA career and at just 25-years-old, he’s still fighting for a spot to play somewhere next season. Your Buddy Sully
Coming off the silent trade deadline, Celtics fans looked to the waiver wire for help the team's most glaring weakness: rebounding. Names like Andrew Bogut, Terrence Jones, and even 6'11 Larry Sanders who hasn't played an NBA game in almost two years have been linked to the Celtics as possible signings. But one name received negative to an indifferent reaction. Jared Sullinger, 6'8 power forward, center, 24, former Celtics underachiever, and my "irrational guy I had confidence" guy, was recent to be rejoining his teammates somewhere "down the road". If bringing back Sully means waiving James Young or Jordan Mickey, then I don't want him under any circumstances. If the sacrificial lamb is Gerald Green (sorry, Gerry), however, then I'd be tempted. Obviously Sullinger comes with his baggage. Often out of shape, the health concerns surrounding his feet are near deal breakers. Last October he had a screw inserted into his fifth metatarsal in his left foot, resulting him only playing 11 games for the Toronto Raptors before being released. When healthy Sully can be a decent third-string center. Though he is undersized and slow, his crashing the glass on the defensive end improved in his three seasons under Brad Stevens. Mistaken for a stretch big, Sully's field goal percentage can be taken with a grain of salt. The three seasons spent trying to convert himself into a three-point threat still gives me nightmares. I often wonder what if he was placed in a different era, if he missed his window to be a contributing player? Stick him in the 80's, or 90's, on either those George Karl Sonics or Stockton-Malone Jazz, playing Ervin Johnson or Greg Ostertag's minutes he'd fit right in as a one dimensional rebounder, that's can occasionally nail the long two. (Shot 51.4% on long twos between 2014 and 2016) Watching him take those long range twos just below the three-point line wasn't frustration as it should have been. For some odd reason he was more likely to make those shots at a higher frequency than if he just took one or two steps back. His assist% is way better than I remembered, 13.3%, and his defensive win shares is at a cool 7.6. I really don't remember Sullinger putting me at ease when he was guarding the other team's power forward or center. I remember him as either too small or slow. Boston was the perfect home for him. Specially his last season here. Starting games next to defensive stalwart Amir Johnson, Sully had his best season, a stat line of 10.3-8.3-2.3, 45.8% on 2s. A career high in win shares, 4.8, and DRB%, 27.0. What's more shocking is his per 100 stat line of 21.2 pts, 17.1 rebs, and an average DRtg of 100. He's very much comparable to the first four seasons of Ed Davis. Exactly the same age when he entered the league, similar skill set, except Davis' coaches never thought of him as a three-point shooter. Their rebounding rates both offensive, defensive and total% are almost identical, and their total win shares accumulated. Around the rim Sullinger shot a fantastic 60.4%. So what would Sully's role be on this Celtics team? His best front court partner in his short career was the 378 minutes he spent with Kevin Garnett in his rookie season. +0.85 FG% +10.8 PTS +5.6 DRB +6.4 AST He'd play 8-10 minutes per game, acting as a placeholder for Al Horford and Amir Johnson, before the workload really gets heavy in the playoffs. Only to be on the floor to grab rebounds, his DRB% last season is far better than our current leader in that statistic, Kelly Olynyk. Make outlet passes, restart possessions, and be a decent body to throw against either Andrew Bogut or Tristan Thompson, now that they're both on Cleveland. Against Thompson, Sully wouldn't fair well in a battle on the glass. But is closed to his career average 10-6-2 in the ten games they've played one another. Versus Bogut, Sullinger's stat-line makes the matchup appear in the Ohio State products favor. 17 pts, 9.8 trb, 2 ast, 45.3 FG% in the five games they've faced off. He may not play pretty, but Jared is an effective guy that can get his. Amir and Horford can cover for his lack of athleticism. So don't flip your shit when you find out the Celtics have signed Sullinger to a 1 year, $1 million deal, and waived Gerald Green. He might be a better guy to take a risk on. You can reach me @Sailboatstudios on Twitter.

Chris Paul

Stern
