#5: Sahar by Tamino

Unfortunately, I don’t like about half the album. However, the half that I like is incredible and an improvement over Amir, which I didn’t think possible.

#4: MASSEDUCTION by St. Vincent

Made me wish I’d started listening to St. Vincent earlier.

#3: Electra Heart (Platinum Blonde Edition) by Marina and the Diamonds

Might be cheating to include this since it is a re-release of an album that I did listen to before, but this did something to my brain and started a little Marina phase, so I had to include it.

#2: The Car by Arctic Monkeys

Fuck dem haters. The perfect continuation of/prequel to Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, which is one of the best albums of all time.

Violet Stars Happy Hunting!!! (feat. The Skunks) - Janelle Monáe

“Violet Stars Happy Hunting!!!” is such a cool phrase, so stylish and dramatic. I’m kinda mad that Janelle Monae thought it before I did, but not too mad. The song is a bop and a half! That and “Make Room!!!!” by MCR are probably half the reasons for my propensity to using exclamation marks so often.

vulfpeck. flat out, one of the best bands out there rn and if you appreciate music in capacity you owe it to yourself to listen to them. you will listen to these guys just messing around having fun playing together jamming out and producing the most joy-inducing music to exist just by virtue of how smooth and fun it is and how fucking good they are at just.... being musicians. also YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO THEIR LIVE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN DONT LOOK UP MUCH MORE JUST WATCH THEM JAM LIVE THEYRE HAVING SO MUCH FUN THEYRE SO GOOD

massive attack. i don't really have the words to express how much i love their music or why but it just does. makes me float and dream up whole new worlds. makes me relax and tense at the same time. they're just unbelievable

daft punk. yeah. uh. they're kinda everything to me and i sobbed like a baby when they broke up. also rollin and scratchin is their second best song after touch and it's not even close
