Jake Sully.
top male reader
sir k. | overstimulation | praise | guided handjob | brief mention of fingering | anal | brief bite
a/n: feel like I haven't written in ages but I missed Jake fics. sorry I took so long to write this + that it's short
Jake's been fucking with you, and you know it. He's been tugging at your strings of patience and waiting for them to snap. And they do, when you give him a final chance to redeem himself and he purposely fucks it up. But they don't snap in the way he expected.
He chose to ignore you today, and you hoped he'd finally listen when his own safety was at stake. But he chose to put your irritation above all else and your shout of warning went in one ear and out the other.
You don't hide your disapproving stare when Jake sits up and presses a hand against his stinging chest. You're quiet when he meekly looks up at you, waiting for a heated response to come from you not because of the minor, easily avoidable injury (had he just listened to you), but because of his insistent misbehaviour.
But you stay silent, closing your eyes for a moment and taking a deep breath. When you open them again and exhale, Jake is still looking at you. A cocky smile takes over his face when you don't speak and you know you have to do something about it.
Despite his pride, he still follows like a lost puppy when you tug on his wrist and softly push him into your shared tent.
-
"Touch yourself, love." Your words break the silence and Jake's tense staring session, burning holes into the wall in front of him.
Jake turns his head to the side and looks at you from the corner of his eye, suddenly losing all of his previous attitude, fingers twitching against his thighs. You stay standing behind him and he feels so unbelievably exposed. "I.."
"You heard me," your tone is a stark contrast to your words – far gentler and more adoring than Jake expected. His shoulders jump when your hands glide up his back and your fingers rest on his shoulders, applying a soft pressure. But his arms stay motionless at his sides and you sigh softly.
Your fingertips leave behind goosebumps when you gently run them over his shoulders, down his arms, and past his wrists. You cage yourself around Jake with your body, one hand holding his waist and the other cupping the back of his hand in your palm. The contact of your chest against his back makes his shoulders tense but you pay it no mind and force his hand to move under yours.
His warm palm makes contact with his hard, already weeping dick from under his loincloth and you smile to yourself when a pleasured sigh leaves him. Your lips press against the sensitive spot between his neck and shoulders and your hand speeds up. Jake groans under his breath and you can feel his pre-come seeping through his fist and pooling in your palm.
His jaw tenses, his breath heavies, and you just watch over his shoulder, setting an unrelenting pace with your arm, "feel good?" Your words are a whisper against his neck and his pulse beats under your lips.
"Mhm.."
"Use your words, love," your other hand slowly runs up the expanse of his stomach and up to his collarbones before your fingers gently trail back down again over his heaving chest.
"Yeah, f-feels good.." a gentle bite into his sensitive flesh has him gasping out, "feels really good, sir."
Your tongue runs over the faint bite marking his blue skin, "there you go."
You don't stop when Jake's hips stutter and shift in your hold and he whispers that he's close, expecting you to pull your hand away at any moment and rip him from his high. But you don't. A sob-like cry nearly escapes him when you keep going despite the come dripping down your knuckles.
Only when his knees threaten to buckle under his weight do you let him breathe. You hold him in your arms and let him kneel down on the leaf-covered floor, giving him a few short moments to settle and wiping your hand with a cloth.
His back stays pressed against your chest and your hands find his front again, fingers painting ghostly patterns over his stomach and chest, "you okay?"
Jake's hum of confirmation makes you smile. You slip a hand between your bodies and gently press it against his back encouragingly, between his shoulder blades, "on your hands and knees, then, love."
You're still gentle when your oiled fingers slip into him, cupping his hip with your other hand and rubbing circles into his skin with your thumb. Your touches never cease in their softness and care seeps through every movement, even when you push the tip of your cock past Jake's stretched rim and chants of your name and 'sir' leave him in gasps.
When your cock bumps against his prostate and sinks deeper into his guts, Jake shudders and his hips buck. Your hand slips from his waist to his cock, languidly stroking him. Your dick forces the air out of his lungs with every shift of your hips, no matter how small, and Jake can already feel his mind slipping away.
A particularly hard thrust knocks him down onto his elbows and you smile. It doesn't take long for him to come again when your hand doesn't leave his dick, only speeding up. He claws at everything in reach and a near-cry breaks past his lips when your hips don't stop.
"God, please," Jake manages to groan out through his noises.
You pause and your hand moves back to his waist, "want me to stop?" He doesn't answer.
"Then you can keep going," you tell him and an even softer "can you do that for me?" has Jake nodding.
"..Yes, sir."
"Good," you lean down to kiss along the light freckles that decorate his shoulders and push him until his cheek presses against the floor. Your hands slide under his hips and you hold his lower half up. Jake's gasp into his arm when your cock nudges his overstimulated prostate again makes you smile.

Pronouns: They/Them/Theirs, Gender Neutral!Reader
"And, Norm," You called to the tall man as you scribbled your findings on your notebook, your eyes never leaving the pages, not even to spare a glance at your coworker. Most other scientists preferred keeping video logs or typing their notes into their electronic of choice, but you'd always preferred the more traditional way. "I really need to check those samples you took yesterday with Dr. Augustine-"
"I know, I know, I'll get them to you soon." He promised. "We've been a little busy with the new guy, remember? Pretty sure you mentioned knowing him, right? Jake Sully?"
"Yeah," You exhaled, the pen finally lifting from the paper. "Yeah, I... We knew each other on Earth."
"We dated." A new yet familiar voice chimed in and a quiet 'oh' fell from Norm's lips. You pressed your lips together tightly and inhaled deeply, leaning back in your chair and listening to Norm's footsteps rapidly retreat. Your eyes flickered upward to his reflection in the monitor, catching a glimpse of the man you once loved dearly.
It'd been nearly six years since the tearful argument where you'd dumped him for his callousness, for his drinking habits, and the fact he seemed perfectly fine spiraling into darkness while you and Tommy tried desperately to save him from drowning. The extroverted, outgoing, occasionally stupid boy you'd fallen for in high school had died in Venezuela and replaced with a bitter man too caught up in his own self-pity to care about salvaging what remained of the relationship. It'd been tough. Calling off an engagement and ending a long relationship had been like parting with part of yourself, but you managed to put yourself back together with work and Pandora.
"Been a long time since I last saw you." He murmured, rolling his wheelchair closer to your desk and bracing his arms against the table, eyes skimming over the things scattered around your desk. Jake picked up one of the cutely decorated pencils, a gift from one of your coworkers, and rolled it between his fingers, a small smirk tugging at his lips. "Still can't keep an area neat to save your life, huh?"
"You're one to talk." You clicked your tongue. "Last I saw you, there were bottles all over the floor at your plate."
"Last you saw me I was a different man," Jake said quietly. "And... there are a lot of things I wish I could take back. I was such an asshole... to you, to Tommy, to everyone. You deserved better than that, you know."
"I know. It's why I left, Jake." You tore your eyes away from the reflection to look at him. He'd buzzed his hair again for his new job on Pandora and looked... surprisingly better than the last time you'd seen him. The man you'd departed from had grown out his hair and distracted himself with drinking and barely sleeping. But the man before you looked healthier, stronger, and in better condition, likely from the five-year-long cryosleep he'd been put on for the trip to Pandora. "I think the program will be good for you, Jake. I'm glad you're here."
The ghost of a smile appeared on his face. "Me too."

Hc's of our lovely tall blue aliens reacting to a y/n with no gag reflex!
synopsis: it was a vary hot day on pandora, so you thought a popsicle would make you feel a bit better on this day. (Reader is gender neutral in this fanfic, and it is not specified if the reader is human or Na'vi)
Pairings: Jake, ronal & Tonowari, tsu'tey, and Quaritch
Warning's: making poor Jake feel things, horny intentions, vary horny thoughts. And you being all innocent and doe eyed, and tsu’tey being horny. Can't forget Tonowari being the sweet soft dom he isss!!
Jake
GODDAMN ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE HIM A HEART ATTACK??! poor boy thinks your choking on the damm thing, till you just pull it out with ease.
He'd definitely would watch you as you fucking deep throated that damn thing. While his tail sways softly behind him
When you confronted him, a blush rised to his checks as he looked away and he would make some half asked excuse saying he wasn't staring or somethin'
Definitely at some point he would think about you on your knees and sucking on his cock instead of that popsicle. (Totally getting jealous over a damn popsicle)
When he asked how you could do that, all you said was "no gag reflex." Then continued to gently suck on it
If it was just you and him, alone. He'd probably be sitting behind you, or you on his lap. As he gently kissed your neck in shoulders, his hands roaming your sides
Mayyybe also murmuring soft words into your ears too. All because you just wanted some cold treat for this hot weather.. horny basterd.
Tsu'tey
At first he thought you had somesort of stick in your mouth, till you pulled your hand back, pulling the popsicle out of your mouth. Man was flabbergasted,
What?? How? How could you just shove something so long down your throat without gaging??
The thoughts of your lips around the base of his girth where eating him alive, his tail swaying and his ears twitched as he stared at you
When confronting him he said you where weird and turned away, as more blush rised to his checks.
If it was possible, he would have pinned you against something and having his way with you,
Or maybe have a hand slink around your throat, squeezing gently. Whispering things he'd do with Those pretty lips of yours,
If someone else was watching you suck on the popsicle, he would send a death glare their way.
Quaritch
At first he thought you had a weird habit or something, since all he saw was the stick of the popsicle hanging out of your lips
As you pulled the popsicle out, he visibly flinched, all so you could reply to whatever Z-dog said. Not noticing the tall Na'vi behind you.
Once it was the two of you, he would just corner you. And ask if you intended to just tease this old man.
He would get so aggressive twords the others, especially Lyle and Mansk. Your his and he will make that clear, totally getting in trouble and having their asses beaten.
If your with him the whole day, he'll make it vary hard for you to focus. His tail accidentally brushing up against your ass, or him getting a little too close to you, his touches becoming lustful, or linger there for too long..
If you dare to confront him, he'll say its nothin' and continue to stare at your lips. While you're trying to glare at this old fuck.
If you try to lock yourself away, just so you can enjoy your sweet treat in pease. He'll fucking kick down the door and make an excuse about him not finding you. And not giving two shits about your poor door..
Rest in peace door-chan
Ronal & Tonowari
Ronal was the first one too notice that you where sucking on something, watching you pull a whole ass popsicle put of your mouth, she was stunned for a few seconds. You, you on the other hand where just a innocent little thing, looking up at her with Those eyes of yours. While your legs hung off the walkway, gently swinging.
When Tonowari saw you push the popsicle down your throat just to pull it out and lick your lips, and then gently suck on the tip. All while looking up at the sky and minding your own business, this mans heart was POUNDING and he looked so flustered from that act you did alone.
Ronal had asked how you could do that, and so.. you gave her your response. "I just don't have a gag reflex" you srugged before continuing to suck on the sweet treat.
If you had finished the popsicle and went to go grab another, Tonowari had ended up dragging you down to his and Ronal's Marui. Once inside he had made you sit down in front of him, his hands gently roaming your form "why did you tease me with that small one? Is it because I nor Ronal gave you enough attention?" He murmured against the nape of your neck,
If someone was watching you, and if either one where there and saw, Tonowari would glare at them. But if it was Ronal, she would probably throw hands at the Na'vi.
...shes one angry woman..👀
(a vary pretty one too-)
You where sitting on Tonowaris lap suckling on another popsicle, his arms laid around your waist lazily. Pulling the popsicle out of your mouth with a pop, you offered him to try it, he was reluctant at first. But once he did. His taste buds where in heaven. His tail wagging softly, so you let him have the popsicle.
You where watching Ronal grind coral to a fine powder. She seemed to be focused on what she was doing, you where a little worried for her, and wanted her to take a break. And so, with a pop. Your voice was gentle in soft "I think you'd like this. Here, try it!" You offered the popsicle you had to her. At first she declined, but after coaxing her to try it she took it from your hand, and gently nippled at the top of the popsicle, she was shocked. She had never tasted something so sweet in her life. You just giggled softly at her reaction

ᴘᴀɪʀɪɴɢ: jake sully x male reader (+sully family)
ꜱᴜᴍᴍᴀʀʏ: There were many struggles that came with fatherhood—you must find a solution for each one.
ᴀɴᴏɴ: jake and reader are like the dads of the sully children, basically the sully's having gay dads??
ʀᴇ𝐐: yes ~ ᴡᴏʀᴅ ᴄᴏᴜɴᴛ: 6565
ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢꜱ: mentions of death (lighthearted) never happens tho, swearing, much worrying about children, surrogate neytiri referring to your kids as hers too (idk just in case)
ᴍᴀʏʙ'ꜱ ɴᴏᴛᴇ: so. i've got a lot of things to say. that's why i'm putting a second a/n at the bottom. - two gays cannot have an avatar child if they can't have children therefore surrogate Neytiri <3 - my first attempt at writing a full sentence in Na'vi, y'all are probably not fluent in it but i hope it's correct. - regrettably, there's only one scene with Tuk and only one mention of Spider - less about the relationship between jake and reader, more about the children
☾⋆☆⋆☽
Neteyam was a blessing.
Him and Neytiri both.
When she agreed to be a surrogate for your children, you were both over the moon, over each of the three of Eywa'eveng.
Neytiri knew it best, the stress of having a child. Though it was all her, her body, her belly, her birthing, you and Jake stuck to her side and stressed with her. You could see her pain, in her eyes, and Jake said he felt it himself.
The musings did not help Neytiri through the pain.
Omatikaya welcoming ceremonies consisted of everyone in the village, close family, friends, acquaintances, everyone rounded up to welcome the newborn. But this one was special, for there was one mother and two fathers. Strange as it may have been, the three of you knew there'd be plenty more to come.
When Jake held him up towards the sky, calling the name, "Neteyam", you knew the name truly belonged to him, even if the newborn had yet developed characteristic traits.
The first year was not pretty. If it weren't for Mo'at and Neytiri–and thought it may be harsh, it is the truth–Neteyam would probably be dead.
Jake always knew there was a thing with babies. They didn't have a sense of danger. On Earth, some of the deadliest stuff they could find was a fork and an outlet. On Pandora, however, there were much worse things.
He was aware of this, both of you were, of the Hammerheads, Thanators, Viperwolves that each posed a dangerous threat to your child. Even herbivores, like Flathead Rams, could trample over your baby like he was nothing. He couldn't roam, either, for he didn't know the difference between a poisonous plant and a safe one, and the differences were scarce. Not to mention, they grew close to the ground. Even the carnivorous plants were huge enough to swallow him whole.
So you both watched him, most of the time.
When the hunt called, however, it was only one of you. You took turns.
Why? Because the mighty Toruk Makto, Olo'eyktan of the Omatikaya, once war chief of three tribes at once, was not exempt from taking care of the baby.
Besides, he kind of liked it. He liked looking at his boy, knowing that in all ways except biological, Neteyam was his.
He loved when the little baby wrapped his four little blue fingers around one of his five large ones. He was so tiny, so defenseless. He had to take care of him. Couldn't let him out of his sight.
He was also so, so cute.
Neteyam lets out a little yawn, stretching all his limbs except for the hand holding his father's finger.
"Aww," Jake coos. "dinner's in a bit. The game's not even here yet. You can sleep."
As time passes, and Neteyam drifts off in his father's warm, large arms that encompassed him, Jake gets lost in the sight and his thoughts. Neteyam was his child. He never thought he'd have one.
He doesn't register the sound of you propping your bow up on the wall, or your footsteps, or a portion of the fresh hunt being placed next to the fire.
In fact, he doesn't really notice you at all until you sit next to him.
You wrap your arms around him, one around his back, the other around his stomach below his arms and Neteyam, and settle your head into the crook of his neck.
Jake laughs lowly, your nose against his neck's skin slightly ticklish—he didn't think the Na'vi were ticklish, hadn't learned it until he was victim to your fingers. "Kxì, my love. Tired?"
"Ngenga pllertxe fura tawtute lì'fya... ‘Ìnglìsì. Tìftang si." (You're speaking that sky people language... English. Stop it.)
Ever since the first time, he's memorized the words, therefore knows their meaning. "You know I don't speak Na'vi well. Right? Or are you too tired to remember?"
"Perfectly conscious enough to remember." You laugh lazily, "Just love to tease you."
Jake presses the side of his head against the top of yours, the best affection he can offer with Neteyam in his arms. "Zola‘u nìprrte’. Happy?"
"Yes."
☾⋆☆⋆☽
Where Neteyam was yours, Lo'ak was Jake's.
But first, came the unexpected Kiri. A month after Neytiri affirmed that she would have your second child, Norm and Max called with a panic.
One morning, as bored eyes strayed from scientific screens and microscopes, Norm discovered a bump on Grace's avatar's body. There were many theories, but each was discredited. The tank was safe, you were all sure, even if you did not know anything of the amniotic fluid within it. It wasn't scratched, didn't show any signs of opening, it displayed nothing at all. So what could be the cause?
The answer went unanswered for another two months. Until, at the third month, Norm realized that the size lined up with that of a human pregnancy. It was already the size of a seven month old baby bump. Which meant... soon enough, the vacant avatar would be having a baby.
There was hardly a discussion of who would raise it. Jake knew that he was indebted to Grace, that even though he had yet another child on the way, whatever came of Grace's avatar was his to take care of.
Kiri was born first. Lo'ak was soon to be on his way. However, the season for the first communion with Eywa was approaching. Though having the three of them commune with the Great Mother at the same time would be wonderful, the first communion was not to be delayed.
While Jake helped Neteyam attach his queue to the Tree of Souls, you helped Kiri.
Her eyes, her smile, toothless even, her dilated pupils... She was elated. She was so happy, and you mirrored her smile too.
This wasn't your kid, wasn't Jake's either, but you would raise her as one of your own.
Lo'ak and Kiri... they both came out with five fingers and little eyebrows. It was a scary thing, to have children that looked different from everyone else. Jake knew that, with an Avatar body, it was possible. Seeing it himself, though...
Neteyam, being oldest, required a little less care. He slept by himself at his crib. The newborns slept with you whilst the two of you waited for Neytiri's hunt.
Lo'ak was cuddled up in his father's arms, Kiri in yours. Her fingers were wrapped around your smallest finger, what Jake would call his ring finger. "Five fingers.." You muttered to yourself. You'd counted them many times over.
Jake hears you. "And eyebrows."
"Just like you." You muse with a laugh. Jake laughs along too, but you notice the difference; his laugh lacks its usual humor.
"What is it?" You ask, concerned lace with his words like the weaving of a necklace.
"Nothing." He shakes his head. He couldn't worry you, especially because he wasn't even sure if these five fingers and eyebrows would make any difference.
"I can tell there's something." You remain stubborn, scooting even closer to him. It was one of the qualities he actually loved about you, as annoying as it could be. "You can't evade me, darling."
"Darling? You picked up the word?"
"Jake." You're deflecting.
"I know." He sighs, "I know. It's just... They're different, Kiri and Lo'ak, different from others their age. It's not something I want for them."
"You think it'll affect the way they are treated?"
"Yes."
"Darling." You repeat the pet name more stern now, calling for his attention. He lifts his gaze from his baby boy to meet your eyes. They're yellow, they're golden, just like his. "You were different. But now you are not. You're Olo'eyktan, one of the us; one of the people, one of the Omatikaya. These children are yours, and they are mine. They are part of the Omatikaya."
"But they–"
"Extra fingers, extra hair on their face. The eyebrows are expressive, lovely. The fingers are good, help with dexterity." You tilt your head forward, "They will be fine."
Just as the same as he yearns to hold you, he wishes he believed you. For now, however, he settles on your only point of contact being your lips, and his assured belief about these children being that you and he would love them to the ends of the Earth.
☾⋆☆⋆☽
The differences meant nothing to Jake, there would be no change in the way he treated them. Soon enough, he'd sort of forgotten, for the most part.
What couldn't be forgotten, though, were his Olo'eyktan duties.
The problem was, you were gone for a little while. The second problem was, Neytiri was taking care of Neteyam. Now that didn't quiet seem like a problem, but she was taking care of him before you left and before he realized he had important Olo'eyktan stuff to do. He couldn't just bother Neytiri to take care of his kids! The third problem was, they were his kids! He couldn't just leave them. They were hardly two months old.
So now, he was left with a dilemma. Baby carriers.
For humans, it was a little embarrassing to, as a father, be wearing one of them. But to the Na'vi, it was just another part of life, a necessity.
Jake was a Na'vi now. He had to get over human societal norms.
"Hanging in there, baby girl?" Jake asks Kiri–as if she can understand him–who unfortunately has to take the tight space on his back.
After getting the silent answer he was expecting, Jake begins his work. As expected, no Na'vi seem to pay him any mind. They greet him just the same as any other day, the only difference being the small coos directed at his children. He's just happy they love them.
As Jake checks his daughter is safe on his back for the umpteenth time, he hears something wrong.
Click.
He stares ahead, obviously disturbed. His eyebrow furrows as he finds the camera, with a diminishing flash, being held by the scientist he regrettably called a friend.
"Norm, don't you have shit to do?" The swear word doesn't faze him, for the babies were too young to even register the word.
The scientist adjusts his exopack over his shit-eating grin. "Research, Jake." He gives off a hint as his amusement with each word he speaks, "I’m capturing the Mighty Toruk Makto in his natural form. Which is adorable." He winks.
"Uh-huh." Jake replies; contrasting his friend, he remains unamused. "Kiss the dark side of my blue–" Out of the corner of his eye, he spots Mo'at. Shit, Mo'at. She knew English and he needed to talk to her.
"You are a lucky man, Norm." Jake turns on his heels, leaving Norm behind as he heads towards the Tsahìk.
When he does so, though, Kiri turns her head as much as she can to stare at the human scientist curiously. Norm takes the opportunity.
Click.
☾⋆☆⋆☽
Lo'ak and Kiri were, relative to their brother, the same age. They also looked the most like each other, excluding their father. They both had the characteristic traits of an avatar, traits that set them apart from the rest of the clan. Because of this, you thought they'd be inseparable, best friends. Instead, they fought, and fought, and fought.
It was weird, even, that Kiri often sought out her older brother's company over her baby brother's.
These peculiarities' origins, however, were solved when you realized the common point of these arguments. Lo'ak. Lo'ak was a troublesome kid in that he loved freedom, and even more, loved to be possessive.
Within seven years, many things were taught. Jake, for one, learned much of the Na'vi language. In fact, it was practically English to him. Sometimes he forgot what language he began the sentence with, and he would end up starting with Na'vi and ending with English or mixing in a couple words in the middle.
As far as the kids were concerned, it was gibberish. At least, for a couple years. After they dominated the Na'vi language well enough, they began to learn English. Their main teacher was their father, not their sempu, so when things like this happened...
"I hate you times infinity, Lo'ak! Penis face!"
It was his fault.
After the kids' argument was swiftly dealt with (the toy had to be threatened to be cut in half, and then they stopped), Jake places the toy in Kiri's hands. "Kid, go find your brother." He sighs, "You can play with him."
"I don't wanna play with him." Lo'ak crosses his arms, stomping his foot. "He's a sucker."
"Hey, now, that's not a good thing to say about your brother." Jake presses a harsh finger against his son's shoulder. "What would Neteyam think?"
"It's true! And he needs to know it!"
"If your sempu was here, you'd be–"
"Sempu's here." You call. The kids didn't really realize you heard the beginning of what Jake was going to say. Instead, they run to hug you. Kiri drops the much beloved toy they so desperately wanted earlier, in favor of wrapping her arms around your waist.
You scoop each of them up, each held by one strong arm. Even so, knowing that the position is weak, they steady themselves by wrapping their small limbs as far around you as they can. "Now, what was it that you needed me for?"
"Nothing, sempu." Kiri shakes her head, pressing her head against your shoulder. "Just a little dispute."
"Yes. A dispute." Lo'ak agrees with the wide nod of his head, though he pronounces the word much worse than Kiri does. Seems he slacked off on their latest English lessons and somehow ignored the word "penis" that Kiri vividly recalls.
"Ooh, dispute? Where'd you learn that big word, huh?" You coo, rubbing your nose into her hair. She laughs at the feeling, it's almost ticklish.
"Dad." She replies simply.
"Yeah, well, they also managed to learn the word "penis" from me." While you gawk dramatically at your children, Jake sticks his tongue out at them just as childishly. Little suck ups. He mouths.
Lo'ak sticks his tongue back out at his own father, to which you slap him gently on the hip. "What situation requires that," You think of a suitably negative word , uglily scrunching up your nose so that the children can have something to laugh at. "despicable word?"
"Lo'ak," Kiri is quick to tell, "was trying to steal my toy!"
"No I wasn't!" Lo'ak huffs. If he were on the ground, he'd have stumped his feet. Instead, they kick the air.
"Yes you were!" She retorts.
"Which one, the one so sadly on the floor?"
At the mention of its position, they both turn their gazes towards it. Kiri dares to mutter a little "uh-oh" as her eyes find it. Whilst they are distracted by the dread building up in their bodies, you look to Jake. Go find Neteyam. I'll deal with these two.
Silently, he nods, and slips away while the children begin to make up excuses. As he walks down the river bank, he hears a shout from the house. "You're a big fat liar!"
If memory served right, Neteyam wanted to visit Neytiri. Out of all of their kids, he took to her the most.
A part of him, at the back of his mind, wonders how all his children will react once they learn who their mother is.
He doesn't indulge in the thought. Instead, he focuses on the task ahead. The path from his home to Neytiri's was one he memorized, and he made sure when he built his home that it wouldn't be a long distance.
He doesn't expect to find the two of them, Neteyam and Neytiri, outside of the house. Neither does he expect his son to be so vigorously training even after training hours.
"That's it. Remember your stance." Neytiri advises Neteyam, patting his shoulder. "You're doing great."
"Hey!" Jake greets the two. The sudden call surprises Neteyam, which makes his shot fly off to the side.
The boy frowns, but his lips soon lift as he turns to greet his father. "Hi dad."
"Hello, my son." He nods. His smile turns a little more stern as he turns to Neytiri. "Hello, auntie Tiri. What's going on?"
Neytiri opens her mouth to speak, but Neteyam taps her thigh and mouths a little something. It's not hard to read his lips, nor had he tried to hid it so hard, but Jake looks away out of respect.
Auntie Tiri nods and looks back up to Jake, "I figured he needed some practice."
"He practiced this morning."
"I know." She raises one hand up in surrender, "Practice makes perfect." She ruffles Neteyam's hair. Though coming from his dad it was annoying, it is apparently endearing coming from his aunt. "Could I talk to you in the house?"
"Of course."
She hardly waits for him to reply before she pats Neteyam on the head again and says, "I'll be right back, keep practicing."
Neteyam nods excitedly. However, Jake stops him. "No, put that down." It dampens his son's spirits, but he nods. Both of them know that something could go wrong if Neteyam practices unsupervised.
Neytiri rolls her eyes, but doesn't protest. Instead, she heads inside, Jake close behind.
"What is it that–"
"Your son, our kid, " She begins with firmness. "he came to me asking me to help him improve."
"What? He's only seven." Jake reasons, "Why would he?"
"He's your oldest." She replies simply. "Your heir, the next Olo'eyktan. There's a lot of pressure that comes with that." She spoke with experience. Between you, him, and her, she had so much more experience. He wonders sometimes how they've come to this arrangement, if she could be a better mom than he, a dad.
"Yeah… I know. But I don't give him any pressure. I make sure of it." Does he really? Are each of his words premeditated, thought out?
"He's only a year older than Lo'ak and Kiri, but he already has it ingrained in him that he has to protect them." Neytiri crosses her arms, giving him a pointed look, "Like you said, he's seven. He still deserves to be hugged and kissed."
"I try to."
"You try to?"
"It's hard when, you know…" He sighs, "your parents coddled your brother more than you."
She purses her lips, thinks it over. "I may not know about you and your brother," She begins on a lighter note. "but I know that you can relate your experiences with him with our children, your sons. At least you know what not to do. Just make sure they know you love them, and that they are still children that should play, while you still can."
"Yeah." He nods, "I will."
☾⋆☆⋆☽
The children played with each other, for once not beckoning their parents into play or sparking arguments between each other.
So for the first time in a long time, you had some moments of peace.
"He reminds me a lot of Neytiri, Neteyam." You spoke in a hushed voice, wary of their young ears.
"How so?" Jake squeezes your shoulder, his arm wrapped around it.
"His smile. It's a lot like hers. Toothy, isn't it?" He was smiling right now. Though it didn't compare to some of his biggest moments of joy, his smile still displayed his growing teeth. It was adorable.
He only has to think of it for a moment before agreeing, "Yeah."
"He's good with his bow. Don't doubt that he'll make a great hunter one day. And his love for Ikran..." Your face lights up at the memories, "even though he doesn't have one."
"About that, love..." Jake begins solemnly.
You turn to him, away from your playing children, at his serious tone. "What is it?"
"Neteyam," He glances over at the boy. Thankfully, he hadn't heard him speak his name. He lowers his voice and continues, "Neytiri told me he's been trying to get better at using a bow."
"Hm, well, he's probably trying to impress us."
"And that he wanted to protect his siblings. He feels," He purses his lips, "like its his responsibility. It's what he worries about."
"Does he?" You huff, "He has asked a lot lately, about the dangers of the jungle. I thought he just wanted to look out for himself, but now that I think about it..."
"He wanted to know so that he could keep his siblings safe." Jake finishes for you.
"Hey, I wanted to play with it!"
"I had it first!"
Before either of you can act, Neteyam stands first. He gives you only the smallest of glances before pushing his siblings away from each other.
"What? Hey!" Lo'ak shouts.
"Go away, Neteyam!" Kiri struggles against her brother's hold.
At his sudden interference, the toy falls to the ground. Neteyam kicks it to his feet. "Stop fighting!" He hisses at the both of them, making them falter. "It's either one or the other. Got that? You can take turns."
"Me first!" The children scream simultaneously, Kiri finishes her sentence first by a millisecond.
"Ugh." Lo'ak groans, but he begrudgingly kicks the toy in her direction. "Fine, you can have it first. But you get ten minutes!"
Kiri grins, picking up the toy, "That's good enough."
With the argument over, Neteyam smiles. He turns back towards his own toy, but not before sparing a not so subtle glance in your direction. Seeing your encouraging smiles, his own grows larger.
"He didn't need to do that."
Jake nods, "But he did, anyway."
"You're right." You shake your head with a sigh, "We should wait for the right moment to tell him."
☾⋆☆⋆☽
That moment doesn't take long.
Lo'ak had grown restless at home, and even more at the village, so he proposed one thing: to let him and his siblings explore the jungle. It wasn't a surprising proposal, you'd allowed them to do so many times before. Neteyam, Kiri, and Lo'ak often explored the jungle; so, you allowed it without a thought.
The jungle was a beautiful place, one you were proud to call home, so you were happy that your children were falling in love with it too.
However, as curfew grows closer and your children do not return yet, your worry begins to grow.
The children had shown time and time again that they knew curfew, knew the way home, knew to come back safely. You trusted them to come back.
Your rapidly growing concern and restlessness burst, and you must find them yourself. As much as Jake had reassured you, as much as you wanted to trust them, something was clearly wrong. You had to find them.
As you mount your ikran, though, they emerge from the tree line.
Neteyam and Lo'ak prop Kiri up, helping her walk. They've got her arms around their shoulders. Together, the three of them, they're mismatched. Lo'ak wishes to run, Neteyam doesn't want to injure Kiri further, and she is weak.
You're quick to whisk Kiri up and bring her inside, whilst Jake grabs a hold of his sons and brings them in too.
You place Kiri down on your hammock, "Where does it hurt?"
"My side." She yells back, her eyes spilling fresh tears. She was scratched up everywhere, from her arms to her knees, but the most concerning gash was on her side. It was a long cut, spanning from her belly button to her chest.
"I got you, baby girl." You assure.
While you rush to patch up Kiri, Jake squats in front of his sons and questions them. "What happened?"
Neither boy wishes to speak, but between the two of them, the culprit is clear. Still, he knows that he has to wait for them to speak up. If Neteyam speaks first, Jake will know what the boy has burdened himself with. If Lo'ak speaks, he will know that the boy has the responsibility to admit his own faults.
Regardless, because none of them speak, Kiri does. She clearly wished to have the culprit, which inadvertently caused her injuries, be punished. "Lo'ak led us to a forbidden area!"
"No I didn't!" Lo'ak bites back.
"Yeah, I did." Neteyam steps forward and puts an arm in front of his brother in order to shield him from his father's impending scolding. "I convinced them it wasn't such a dangerous place."
There it was. Neteyam taking the blame. He took protecting his siblings so far, that he was willing to take the blame and the punishment for what Lo'ak did. Jake hated it, hated that he reminded him of his brother so much.
"Neteyam, you and I both know you know the dangers the most." Jake points a finger at him, "So step back."
The boy follows his instructions, but for once, not obediently. He looks down at the ground and backs off with a subtle scoff.
"Oh, so now you decide he's not to be believed?!" Lo'ak huffs, crossing his arms. "I didn't–"
"You did." Jake interrupts him, "And I need you to admit it."
"Fine!" Lo'ak shouts, "I did it! But I didn't think it would be so dangerous."
"I know that, son." Jake says, placing a hand on his shoulder. Lo'ak tries to shake it off, but he ultimately fails to do so. He settles on ignoring its heavy presence. "But you're still responsible for the consequences."
"I didn't mean for Kiri to get hurt." The boy mumbles.
"Tell that to her."
"I'm sorry, Kiri." He mumbles that too, but Kiri hears it anyway.
Though she rolls her eyes, something Lo'ak can't see because you cover her body with your own as you work away, and accepts the apology, "Fine." She hisses slightly, which Lo'ak mistakes as directed to him. The sound makes him falter.
"The two of you, listen to me." Jake places his other hand on Neteyam's shoulder, pulling the brothers close to each other.
"You should listen too." You tell Kiri. She nods.
"You should all to take care of each other, equally. That means protecting each other. Not just you, Lo'ak; not just you, Kiri," He nods in each of his kids' directions, "not just you, Neteyam. You got that?"
Neteyam nods immediately, while Lo'ak nods with a scowl and eyebrows knitted. He was displeased to be asked to act just like his stuck up brother.
"Hey." Jake shakes his son not so gently to make sure he is paying attention. "Lo'ak, I need you to protect your siblings. Because, in this world, it's not just you. It's all of us, it's this family. Your brother, your sister, they need taking care of. And if we're not there, who will do that? You. You have to."
"It's not an "if he can't do it, then I have to"." You cut in to add, "It's not a toy to be passed around. It is something you should all be doing, all the time."
"Today was just an example. Tomorrow," He gestures to the side with the nod of his head, "if things do not change, worse things can happen."
"Okay." Lo'ak nods. Though the solemn look on his face is new and different, it meant he was taking it seriously.
Jake nods too, "Good. Neteyam," Knowing that the boy will be much more affected by his words, Jake keeps it simple. "that means it's not all up to you. Don't take the fall for things you didn't cause."
"Okay." Neteyam agrees too.
☾⋆☆⋆☽
Auntie Tiri loved to visit the kids. Though she knew she wasn't their mother in the family sense, she still thought of them as her own children. You weren't one to complain, much as you teased her, because it meant you and Jake could have some time of your own.
"Second time this week?" You laugh, greeting Neytiri at the entrance. "It's only just beginning, too."
"If I birthed them, I at least get to raise them." Neytiri argues. The words don't make much sense to the children, thankfully, or else you would have a lot of explaining you weren't quite ready for.
You roll your eyes and let her in. As she passes you, you walk outside. Behind you, you hear screams of delight as the children see Neytiri.
After Jake says his temporary goodbye's, he follows you outside.
He lets out a sigh of relief as the even fresher air of the outside washes over his face. "It's been a while since we got to be alone, right?"
"Just two days, my love." You remind him. "Neytiri visited two days ago."
"Hmm," He snickers, "right."
He lets out a yawn, stretches his limbs far up into the sky. As he brings them down, though, one arm not so subtly wraps around your waist. Even less subtly, it pulls you close to his side. "Wanna go for a walk?" He offers nonchalantly.
You chuckle, placing a hand a on the one he's got around you. "Sure."
The benefit of being alone with each other often was that your children were not responsibility for the tiniest of moments. It also meant you didn't have to speak of them.
But usually, as your children are the light of your life, most things end up being about them.
"Your hair's starting to dread up, love." You remark, wrapping the end of one of his locks around your finger. It was just a little strand, but the hair above clumps together.
"Ah, well, I don't have the time." He sighs, "Between Olo'eyktan duties, giving advice to folk, taking care of the kids..."
"I could braid it for you." You offer.
"I heard that takes a long time." He says, but he's done more than hear it. He's witnessed it, seen your children slouched over themselves, falling asleep whilst your fingers still nimbly worked on their braids. "Don't know if I've got enough."
"Well, we can keep it dreaded." You shrug, "Whatever you like."
"What do you like?" He retorts.
You roll your eyes. "Whatever you like to wear will be what I love, Jake."
"That's an awfully sweet," He begins slowly, coaxing a soft smile out of your lips. "lie. Too uncharacteristic of you, my darling."
You laugh. The sound is... young. It sounds young. You've known each other for seven years now, been parents for most of that time, and you've matured so much since the first time he laid eyes on you. Those laughs, ones without the worry of your children or responsibilities, had seemed forgotten. He's glad it's still there.
The conversation falters and you fall to comfortable silence; but something picks at Jake, at the back of his mind.
"Is there..." He pauses, not too sure if he really wants to mention it. He's already started, though, and he does feel as though it is something that should be talked about. "anyone Lo'ak reminds you of?"
"Lo'ak..." You hum as you think, "well, Lo'ak is his own person. He's a special kid. There's no one quite similar to him. Why do you ask?"
"He reminds me of myself. My younger self." Jake says. It was the original thing he wanted to say.
"Oh."
"Reckless, quick to jump into a fight, defensive, couldn't take the blame... I couldn't take anything seriously." He lists off things, each one putting a dampener on his mood. "A child in a man's body."
His lowering spirits were affecting yours, so you stop your walk to make sure your next words are registered fully. You take his hands in yours and begin, "Some of those things aren't always bad. Defensiveness means, well, you're protective of your loved ones. And not taking things so seriously... you can always make me happy. You can lighten any situation. As for the recklessness, well, it was always funny when you failed at some Na'vi things."
"Hey!"
"What I'm trying to say is, you're still defensive, you're still humorous in harsh situations. These are both things of your younger self and the self that stands before me." You bring a hand to his cheek and he nuzzles against it. "They are part of who you are; and those same things, they're part of who Lo'ak is. If we tried to change them, Lo'ak wouldn't be himself. All of those traits are bad at varying degrees. If we teach him correctly, he can still be himself. Less reckless, more serious, but still himself."
Much as an annoying rascal he was now, it was the Lo'ak Jake still loved, has loved for seven years. He couldn't imagine his son any other way.
☾⋆☆⋆☽
Everyone loved Neteyam. It was hard not to.
Lo'ak and Kiri, on the other hand, often received many stares. It was harder for them to make friends outside of the family; harder to avoid the comments about their fingers and eyebrows. Though Lo'ak had a penchant for an argument (which had lessened ever since you began parenting him better) this was where he and Kiri agreed.
When Neteyam played with his friends, Lo'ak and Kiri often stuck together. Their differences and toy-sharing difficulties were pushed aside.
Neteyam often tried to coerce his friends to play with Kiri and Lo'ak, they were only a year younger after all, but it usually devolved into asking them why they had such funny fingers.
Jake and you often noticed it. You saw your children's awkward, uncomfortable faces. But you knew things would only be worse if you interfered. Children were often like that, picking at the little things. Just kissing your children would earn them the nickname of "sempuyä 'evi". Besides, they needed to be independent.
It was a matter that sparked concern between you.
"I was right about their differences." Jake grumbles. He subtly observed his children from above, at a high point in the village. Less people were going to spot his vigilant dad behavior up there.
"They'll make friends eventually, find people who don't care." You reassured him, but you spoke it into the world because you were really wishing for it to happen.
"Like you?" He muses.
"If you want a comparison point." You let out a little laugh.
Jake wraps an arm around your shoulder and pulls you close. Just then, a little someone breaks through the crowd of nosy kids and sticks their hand out.
Rather than judging your children or pointing out their differences, they exclaim "Wow that's so cool!" so loudly that you can hear it from up there. It warms your heart.
Lo'ak eventually found friends that actually deserved him. Kiri, on the other hand, well, the friends found her. Unfortunately, it was after that that she discovered she actually preferred alone time better than having so many people around her, disturbing her thoughts with constant chatter. So, she didn't often talk with her friends. The only thorn on her side, though, was the human kid, Spider. She tolerated his presence often. She actually even seemed to like his voice.
But while they had gotten over that problem, Jake was still worried.
☾⋆☆⋆☽
Your children had yet again become a year older. In the past year, you'd taught them all so many things. You made sure Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Kiri were all protective over each other equally; that Lo'ak learned how to control his recklessness and maintain his humorous attitude; that Kiri felt connected to Eywa.
You knew that, when you allowed them to be on their own, they would be just fine.
After seven years of taking care of your children so actively, you no longer had to worry so much. It was sort of a relief.
Naturally, though, you sort of missed it.
"I want another kid."
"What?"
"Another girl would be nice." You hum to yourself, "She'd be the cutest little thing."
Once the initial shock wears off (because you don't just mention that out of nowhere) Jake finds himself agreeing. He, too, missed coddling his children. "Yeah, she would."
"Did you ever get a copy of the picture Norm took of you?"
"Of course not." Jake grumbles. "It's embarrassing."
"Only because you make it." You snicker, booping him on the nose. He responds by scrunching it up and flinching back. "I think it's rather cute."
"I only think Kiri was cute." He wipes his nose. "We can talk to Neytiri and–"
"I want her to be yours."
"What? But–" Jake shakes his head profusely, his eyebrows knitted together. "I can't have another kid turn out like... like me."
"Five fingers and eyebrows?" You ask.
"Yes." He replies immediately. "I can't have her be... different. Lo'ak and Kiri, they struggled to make friends because of their differences."
"You know that Lo'ak made his own friends."
"It took time." He argues, "Don't you remember his face, every time he came back home? It was horrible. In fact, he asked you to pull him onto your lap and kiss his cheeks over and over just for reassurance. Which–"
"Which he asked for because he loves me, not because it's uncharacteristic of him." You say, implying that Lo'ak loves you more.
Jake rolls his eyes. "I don't want to see another kid go through that again. I just want another normal kid that'll make friends flawlessly."
"There's nothing wrong with being special." You take his hands in yours. His hand was only bigger because of his extra finger, which wraps around your hand. You bring it up to show him, "Nothing better with being normal."
"Why... why can't you do it, then?"
"Because," You begin, smile lighting up your face. "even you still haven't gotten over your differences." Jake looks away. His silence to the accusation is as much of an answer as affirmation is. "This child will be proof that your differences don't make you any worse than a regular Na'vi. Because you are on of the people. You are the Olo'eyktan. You are one of us."
"How do you know?" He grumbles, but he was starting to believe you. "Did Eywa tell you, or something?"
☾⋆☆⋆☽
With Tuktirey, you couldn't be any happier.
And she came out, as promised, with four fingers and hairless browbones.
She was a pudgy little thing, and everyone loved her. You could see it in their eyes and their smiles that the kids loved her at first sight. Their toothy grins would grow even wider when they each got to carry her; even if Lo'ak nearly dropped her.
Though she couldn't even speak and hardly babbled, you could tell that you would come to love her.
You held Tuk in your hands, laying your head over Neteyam's legs. He made for a bony pillow, but you loved him so much you could get over it. Jake hugged Lo'ak with one arm. Kiri was sprawled horizontally over the both of you, her head laying on your stomach. Your muntxatan nuzzled his nose into your neck as he spoke, "I met your sempu while I was training."
"He fell from the tree branches onto the mud at my feet." You explain less graciously, causing an uproar of laughs from each of your children.
"Ah-ah," Jake breaks up the mocking laughter, "you say it's like Eywa sent me to you, no?"
"Okay, fine, I guess." You roll your eyes playfully.
Jake laughs. You can feel the deep rumble of vibrations going through his neck against your shoulder. "It was love at first sight."

ᴍᴀʏʙ'ꜱ ɴᴏᴛᴇ 2: it's a cute prompt, of course, could fulfill it with headcanons, however I wanted some Lo'ak and Neteyam struggle + scared father Jake - one of these scenes (if you saw it, you know the scene) was made using the dialogue of this incredibly fucking cute fanart. It's just Lo'ak instead of Neteyam here. - I made Jake a better father because his kids deserve better

This feeling is amazing.
That's all Jake can think as he sneaks around the facility, though it's a bit hard to sneak when you're a ten foot tall blue alien.
Luckily for him, no one notices him break into a dash and sprint towards the forest. The nature here is nothing like it is on earth, it's enchanting.
Large trees grow further than the eyes can see as Jake takes his time on his small walk, taking in the feeling of grass and moss under his feet. The air seems fresher here as Jake continues his walk, gazing around at the glowing blue and purple fauna around him with small white creatures jumping from one place to the next.
The smile he was slowly growing on his face immediately drops as he hears a groan of pain to his left. Worry fills his body as he sprints into the forest. ‘Shit this is so dumb. This is so dumb.’ His feet refuse to stop till he's close to the small noises of pain, despite the racing thoughts in his head to turn back.
He slowly ducks behind a large pink and purple leaf as he looks for the source of the sound, eyes widening when he finally lands on it.
A Na’vi.
The all blue man lays on his side, his back facing Jake. His shoulders shake up and down with his struggling breath. Small groans of pain enter Jake's ears again as the man tries to move, his tail swaying desperately as he attempts to get himself off the ground.
Jake moves as silently as he can, slowly stepping around the large leaves in front of him to get a better look at the man in front of him. Dark blue stripes cover his light blue skin, similar to Jake's new body. A small pool of blood sits below him as he holds his side, an obvious wound peeking out from where his hand is applying pressure.
“Are yo-.” Before Jake can speak the man whips around, pain covering his face as he holds out a sharp dagger towards Jake. His hand still covers his wound as he lays on his back, desperately attempting at getting up, to no avail. “Wait wait wait! Calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you.” The man doesn't seem to want to cooperate as he hiss loudly at him, baring sharp fangs as he finally manages to get onto his feet.
Jake holds his hands in front of him, trying to keep an eye on the wound and the dagger being pointed at him. “I just want to help.” The man snarls again, slowly taking wobbly steps backwards. “Liar.” He hisses, making Jake's brain short circuit for a second. ‘He knows english?’ Jake keeps his breath still as he keeps his distance. “I'm not lying, I want to help.” The man seems to think about the choices he has as he finally decides on one.
Throwing the knife at Jake.
The metal moves faster than Jake expects as he ducks out of the way, watching it hit the ground and sink three inches into the dirt. Without a second thought the Na’vi is dashing into the forest, and against his better judgment, Jake follows.
The plants of the forest hit Jake in the face as he keeps his eyes on the dashing blue blur in front of him. Not even five minutes in, the man drops, body going limp against the ground. Fear pounds into Jake's chest as he places two fingers on the man's neck, taking in a deep breath when he feels a pulse.
Jake quickly picks up the man, carefully taking him to a softer place to lay as he thanks god that he had the common sense to bring first aid with him.
The wound isn't too bad, although it is deep. Based on how it looks, it seems like he fell from the trees above and got caught on a particularly shark branch. Jake silently treats the wound, listening to the sound of the animals of the forest around him as he watches the man's chest lightly go up and down. Jake's eyes linger on the man's face. ‘He's handsome for a guy who just tried to kill me.’
Instead of leaving, which he should do, Jake sits on the grass, waiting for the man to wake up. It doesn't take long, thankfully. The man's eyes slowly blinking open as he looks up at the sun above him. He gives a groan as he reaches for the wound in his side, flinching when he realizes there's bandages on him. The man's yellow eyes darted to Jake. A loud but pained hiss from him makes Jake jump to his feet, watching the man follow along. The defensive position he's in makes Jake worried as he attempts to talk to him again.
“Don't move too much, you still need to heal” “I’ll chop your head off!” He hisses, taking small steps backwards. Jake decides its best to take a step back, watching the man take off into the forest.
Jake stands in the forest, disappointment filling him as he decides to make his way back to the lab. To his surprise, no one noticed him missing. He keeps quiet about his little exploration mission as he finally lays down to sleep, his mind staying on the na’vi who he prays did not pass out in the forest.
The next day, Jake decides to disappear into the forest again. ‘I just want to explore, this isn't about him.’ He thinks, alight it seems like he's trying to convince himself more than anyone else. The deeper parts of the forest are lush, full of fauna that Jake could only imagine in his dreams. After a few moments of walking, Jake sits in front of a large tree, relaxing against the bark behind him as he closes his eyes, taking in the cool breeze against his skin.
It's a relaxing moment for him, even when it's interrupted by the shuffling of brush beside him. Jake's eyes snap open as he looks over, his eyes meeting familiar yellow ones. The man sits next to him, although still in a defensive position.
“Hi.” Jake says, keeping his eyes on the man in front of him. “Why did you bandage me?” Jake still has to take a moment to take in the fact that he can speak english. “You were hurt, i wanted to help.” The man looks Jake up and down. Jake attempts to swallow down the awkward air around him as he attempts to start a conversation. “What's your name?” “(Y/n).” Jake nods as he looks away finally, trying to think of anything else to say. “How do you know english?” (Y/n) cocks his head to the side in confusion. “English?” He asks. “Yeah, the language me and my people use, how do you know it?” “I've heard it, taught it to myself afterwhile.” Jake can feel how stupid he looks as he looks in the direction of the lab. “Well i should be going.” He smiles as he attempts to get up.
In the blink of an eye, the man is on top of him, pinning him down to the ground. ‘This is it, im gonna fucking die cause i thought a blue guy was hot.’ (Y/n) looks down at him, taking in the features of his face. Jake takes a deep breath as (Y/n) moves his face closer. “Are you going to kill me?” Jake asks. “No, I'm not.” (Y/n) says, continuing to look over Jake. “Maybe i just find you interesting. Maybe I don't want you to leave.” ‘Didn't this dude try to kill me yesterday.’ “Yeah, ok, I won't leave.”
(Y/n) sits back, releasing Jakes arms. Jake feels his breath hitch as he feels (Y/n) sit right on his clothed groin. “So, what's the real reason you don't want me to leave?” Jake attempts to joke, making the bold decision to place his hands on (Y/n)’s hips. (Y/n) seems to take the hint as he slowly moves his hips back and forth, his eyes trained on Jake. “Are you sure we should be doing this?” Jake asks, slowly sitting up to allow (Y/n) to sit in his lap. (Y/n) slowly wraps his arms around Jakes neck, moving his face closer. “I'm not sure.” He whispers as he leans in fully.
Jake feels his brain turn to mush as he finally feels (Y/n)’s lips on his own. The kiss is softer than he imagined, making his mind completely turn off as his grip on (Y/n)’s hips gets tighter. (Y/n) gives a small moan into his mouth as he takes Jake's face in his hand. The pull away is fast. Jake takes the moment to get air back in his lungs as he watches (Y/n) do the same.
Before Jake can get a word out he hears a loud “Jake!” Come from the direction of the lab. (Y/n) jumps off Jake's lap as Jake tries to calm him down. “Sorry, I have to go.” (Y/n) nods, although he's clearly disappointed as he watches Jake make his way back into the forest.

𝐍𝐆𝐀 𝐘𝐀𝐖𝐍𝐄 𝐋𝐔 𝐎𝐄 pt.1
(avatar | human) JAKE SULLY X MALE (na'vi) READER
. i can't believe i did this. english isn't my first language. long one-shot!!
"Bold italics" = Na'vi "Normal" = English
YOU CLICKED YOUR TONGUE IN ANNOYANCE , jumping from tree to tree with multiple throwing knives clutched tightly in your three fingers. While the leaves of the tree you're in hide you, you observe the na'vi down below. He had the same blue skin as yours, patterns almost identical to that of a regular na'vi's— but you know that isn't what he is. As the chiefs son, you're well acquainted with many forest na'vi, and yet you cannot recognize the one below.
Perhaps it's because strange clothing covered his body, or because he walked around as if he were a newborn baby (fortunately even na'vi babies walk around better than him), and he stared at everything as if he were captivated by it— as if it were his first time seeing such things
And you knew it in that moment,
he is not one of your kind.
"Another demon." You spit the word out with so much venom, your hold tightening around your knives as you stare at the demon.
You don't know why the aliens think that you na'vi —real na'vi— would ever fall for a trick such as that. Those demons would never be true na'vi, they could try to look like one but they'd never know how to become one, they'd never know the heart of one.
They wouldn't understand the way of a na'vi, the devotees to the great Ewya. They would not share the same respect and care for your forest.
Humans only knew how to take and destroy, to break and to steal, they are filled with ignorance and greed. They do not properly think— and now they're assuming that they can just peacefully come into your forest!
Your hate for humans will continue to pulse through your blue veins. They took both of your sister's lives, for no apparent reason.
Sylwanin, Neytiri.
Their names rung through your head, and you felt your throat tighten up. The sounds of gunshots rang through your ears, but you knew it was not real. The ringing in your ears was not real, and the blood that now covered your hands was not real either.
I'm sorry, sisters.
You took a steady breath out, placing your hand on your chest as you tried to calm down your breathing, closing your eyes while doing so. Something your mother had taught to you, and you were forever grateful for her.
Once your breathing completely stilled, you looked back to the demon on your grounds. He still lingered along, observing the different plants. While he was distracted, you pulled back your hand, dagger held tightly, aimed perfectly at his heart and you were ready to throw, before Ewya had whispered to you.
The whisper of Ewya had landed on the tip of your knife, and you couldn't fathom why Ewya would want a demon like him alive. You clenched your hand tighter on the dagger, releasing a frustrated growl before releasing the dagger, purposely missing the most vital organ, his heart.
You watched with great satisfaction as the knife had grazed the demon's right cheek, enough to leave a scar for sure.
"I'm sorry Ewya." You truly meant it, but it's not like you had greatly injured the demon, so all was to be fine.
You felt horrible, but also relieved. Ewya's voice had slightly touched your nose, and you knew you had already earned her forgiveness.
You couldn't help it, you needed to see the demon's blood spill, and maybe Ewya understood.
"Ah shit! What the fuck?" The demon groaned, holding his cheek as his wide eyes turned to your direction. Thankfully he could not see you from all the plants that camouflaged you, but he looked extremely startled. You felt pride swell up in your chest as you internally congratulated yourself.
Now, startled and bleeding slightly, this demon should go back to where he came from. He should leave now— away from your people. Perhaps this would even be a message to the humans, that you na'vi would start to go for more violent methods.
But a graze on the cheek wouldn't do the job..
You, either way, had done a good job of protecting your people from harms way.
"Stupid demon.."
You didn't feel all too happy, because not a moment later the demon had ran off further into the forest, to your great and immense displeasure.
It seems now you'd have to keep your eye on him, so he does not wander further. You clicked your tongue in annoyance, not expecting to spend your time babysitting...
──────────────────
JAKE HAS DONE MANY STUPID THINGS IN HIS LIFETIME, that he could admit, and perhaps running off while on an entire planet unknown to him was one of them.. He knew Norm would get on his ass if he damaged this avatar body further. It hasn't even been five minutes until Jake was attacked by a dagger, seemingly from out of nowhere.
With a sigh, Jake got comfortable and started to make a fire, he'd have to make sure this body is fine until he can switch back. While doing so, he heard bushes rustle and creatures chirping. In this body Jake was so much more. His hearing was increased, and he could finally walk and run.
It was his ultimate dream. Pandora was a beautiful place, but he couldn't get too comfortable because even with its beauty it was still incredibly dangerous.
Jake stopped what he was doing once a pack of wolfs— viper wolfs as Grace had called them once, came into his view. He held a torch firmly in his grasp, in hopes of intimidating the beasts, but it wasn't working. "Shit.."
Jake cursed, before yelling and swearing at the wolfs, they still stayed in place until they approached the male with a snarl.
"Shit ! Get back, ya wanna piece of this?"
Before one of them could jump at the demon you came down from your hiding spot, ears on alert and a hiss coming from your mouth as you barred your sharp teeth to the viper wolf. You skillfully dodged it's attacks, pushing your knives deep into their hearts and weak points. By the end of it your chest was painted a crimson red, and blood splatters were evident on your face— running down your jaw as if you'd even taken a bite out of one of the Viper wolfs, which you probably had done.
Jake was frightened, and in awe of the na'vi before him. The dark night illuminated your glowing eyes, and the blood surrounding your mouth was the most menacing visual Jake had the pleasure of seeing.
You brought your hand up to your mouth and wiped at the blood, although it didn't do much— considering your hands were also covered in the red liquid.
Sylwanin and Neytiri had used bows, and now you could understand why. Knives were up close and personal, and they'd leave you a bloody mess in the end. But perhaps having your entire being coated in your kills blood was what made you so prideful as you puffed out your chest and glared at the demon na'vi in front of you. A true, intimidating na'vi— you.
YOU were the most enchanting sight to the ex-marines eyes. Maybe it was the way you were coated in blood, or the way you looked like a true warrior while standing before him. Jake's tail swayed slightly, and he could hear his heart thumping— and he's sure you can hear it to with the way your ears flutter at each beat.
Bump,
bump,
bump.
"Than— thank you." Jake said, and all you did was hiss in response.
"You skxáwng! Foolish! Urgh!"
A great first impression, really. But that's how Jake managed to get an 'in' with your clan— by being himself, an idiot. Because if he wasn't in danger, you wouldn't have interacted with him otherwise.
You still couldn't understand why Ewya wanted him alive.
After that encounter, you had taken Jake to your clan, seeing as though Eywa had told you so. He would've been dead if it weren't for your great mother, and you didn't particularly enjoy having to teach him the way of a na'vi (as per your mother, Mo'at's, request).
"Jake Sully, you listen?"
"Mmh."
You could tell he was distracted as he watched your nimble fingers play around with your dagger, and you could only click your tongue— something Jake noticed you did often in his presence.
"Skxáwng." You grumbled, and you noticed the way his ears seemed to perk up at the word. It was not like he could understand half of the words that came out of your mouth, since he is even distracted when you try to teach him basic phrases.
"'M not an skxáwng," Jake watched with great pleasure as your eyes seemed to widen at what he had said. "You— where did you learn that?" You questioned, and Jake didn't miss the way your tail lightly swayed behind you. You came up close to him, until your tail snaked around his leg.
With a tight grip on his leg, you had pulled him closer with your cat-like tail, and your eyes still stared at him with wonder.
"I learnt from Grace."
"Grace?" It was a whisper, but given how close the two of you were Jake could clearly hear what you had said. A confused tone was evident in your voice.
"Mm.. You're always calling me skxáwng, so I asked what it meant."
You let out a scoff, stepping away from Jake once you heard the familiar sound of hooves trotting by.
Tsu'tey's here.
Jake seemed to realize this too, and you noticed the way his ears fell flat against his head at this own realization, you chuckled at that.
"My brother! You still wasting time teaching this demon our ways? Why don't you join me for a ride— it's been awhile." Tsu'tey asked, tilting his head as he stared at both you and Jake. "Leave this demon," He said, now in English, most likely to push on Jake's buttons.
You chuckled once more, staring at Jake as he let out a scoff.
"I cannot, my mother will surely have my head if I do not carry my duties and watch over this thing."
"Yeah! So back off." Jake agreed, and you're sure he could only understand the first two words of your sentence, since he did not have any reaction to you calling him a 'thing'.
You internally laughed at this anyways.
Tsu'tey gave an understanding nod, looking towards you before turning his gaze back to Jake Sully.
"Have fun thing!" Tsu'tey chuckled, guiding his way back to the clan while both you and Jake stayed.
Jake tilted his head slightly, confused as to why he had been called a 'thing' instead of a demon.
"You know why he called me a thing?" Jake had a sneaking suspicion that it had to do with you, and when you only shrugged in response to his question while biting down on your bottom lip to hide a smile— he already knew the answer.
"Come, let's practice more skxáwng!"
He found out that he didn't really mind when you called him such names.
Training was finally done, and now you decided to relax in the open. Without Jake Sully here to bother you.
You grumbled underneath your breath as Jake came up closer towards you, his breath fanning your face as the two of you lay down in a clearing.
Your eyes remained closed as you whispered a quick "Go away."
"You'd miss me too much if I did" Jake smirked, staring at your irritated face as you clicked your tongue once more.
"You act like you hate me, but I know you love me."
"..."
You were silent as you stared at Jake's face, slowing sitting up and hissing at the male.
"Shut the hell up."
"You're even using sky people language!" Jake chuckled, leaning in closer as you pushed his face way with your hand.
Yet, he continued with his foolishness "It's a sign of affection if you adapt another person's speech— and I'm here adapting your whole culture."
"You are bothering me Jake Sully."
"What are you gonna do? Bite me?"
Your ears perked up at the word 'bite', and you stared at Jake's neck with a heated look in your eyes. He was annoying you, and his neck was looking awfully tempting..
You pushed the male back onto the grass, stradling his hips as you tilted your head down towards him, a low growl emitting from your throat. "I will make you bleed Jake Sully." Jake stared at you as if you brought him the stars and the moon, "Don't doubt it for one second kitty.."
"Brother! Mo'at is calling for you! "
Jake released a groan at Tsu'tey's words, and you huffed in amusement.
──────────────────
YOU TRAINED JAKE FOR THE NEXT few months, and although he pretended to not know certain things, he was still a quick learner.
You stared at Jake's na'vi body, observing the stillness of it. He did not breath when he went to sleep, and his eyes were devoid of life. It was scary thing to see— and at first you had thought he died in his sleep, but he had simply told you it was because he needs to do 'swaps'.
Sometimes you wonder how he looks as a human, as you trace your fingers gently on the avatar body— afraid to wake it even though that's not how it works.
Jake had mentioned before that he looked different than you, and you obviously knew that.. But how different?
Was he smaller? Taller? Larger? Softer?
Easy to break?
"Uhg.." You jumped back as you saw Jake 'wake' up, rubbing at his head as he stared at you.
"Watchin' me sleep?" He asked, a smirk growing on his features as he watched you furrow your brows, not responding to his previous question/statement.
The silence was strange, not comfortable but not uncomfortable either. You just kept staring at him, and usually Jake would soak up this attention, but the way you were staring at him made him feel like his insides were your gallery.
After a long while the silence was finally broken.
"Jake, can I ask you a question?"
"Mm, yeah" Jake had his ears up, tail swaying behind him as you crawled closer to his sat down position. It was usually him asking questions and moving closer to you, so he was surprised by this.
"What do you look like— as a de- human?"
"Well..—"
"In detail, so I can imagine."
Jake avoided eye contact, feeling hot underneath your stare.
"I'm much shorter than you, way shorter"
You laughed at that.
"And well— I'm not blue"
You also laughed at that.
"You could— you could come and see me at the lab.." Jake trailed off, staring into your eyes as he felt his heartbeat quicken, and like always your ears fluttered in tune when hearing the beats.
"I come see you?" You questioned, eyes widened as you stared at the male before you.
"Mmh.."
You tilted your head and smirked, showing of your fangs as you stared at Jake with hooded eyes.
"Alright, I'll come and see you."
──────────────────
IT TOOK NO GENIUS to find out that Jake was nervous, and the rest of the scientists didn't exactly know why.
Yes, Jake decided to make an on whim decision to let you see him as, well, him.
But now he was scared, as much as he didn't want to admit it.
Would you liked how he looked? What if you were weirded-out by him? Would you still see him as him, or would you view him differently? He wasn't exactly anything special— and how would you react when you find out that he's in a wheelchair? Would you—
"Jake, seriously what's got your panties in a twist? Some people are trying do their jobs and your distracting them, did something happen in the clan?" Grace questioned, taking a drag from her cigarette and raising an accusing eyebrow.
Norm joined in with his commentary, "I wouldn't be surprised if he managed to fuck over the clan— probably because he hasn't studied na'vi for I don't know, 9 years?" Cleary Norm was jealous, Jake noted.
"It's just— well (Y/n)'s coming here."
Everyone went silent. The sound of keyboards clickling came to an abrupt stop.
"The chief's son is coming here?"
".. Yes."
Unfortunately, now Jake wasn't the only one that was nervous. Norm had a crisis between being excited or terrified, Grace was in shock and doubted Jake's words, while the rest of the scientists tried to make the place more 'home-y'.
"Exactly when is he coming, Jake?"
Jake didn't respond to Grace's words, cringing a bit as he looked off to the side.
"Jake. When the fuck is he coming."
"I said you could come see me— and he said he would so— maybe now?"
Grace was about to shout profanities at the brown-haired male, but the lab doors had already unexpectedly opened.
Standing, slightly crouching near the door was none other than (Y/n). In front of him— trying to stop him from entering— was a random guard in SWAT clothing. The guard was easily pushed out of the way by the na'vi.
You stared at everyone with narrowed eyes. Lips curled down slightly as your eyes scanned the room.
Jake..
"Jake Sully?"
It was no surprise that you couldn't regonize Jake, but you suspectrd that he'd be here.
Grace turned her head towards where Jake was— hiding behind a scientist and quickly shaking his head 'no'.
Jake was stupid. He doesn't know why he'd say you should come and see him now— it was in the moment type of thing. He wasn't ready.
Grace gave a quiet sigh, seeing the look on Jake's fave that she could immediately recognize.
"Jake's not here right now, he's currently in his avatar form— which I suppose means he's waiting for you." Grace smiled at you, hurriedly killing her cigarette.
"What? —" Norm was quickly shut up by Grace's intense glare. Norm could easily piece the parts together.
"Mm." You hummed, turning around to leave as your eyebrows furrowed.
"Jake."

What about Jake teaching English to na'vi reader or human culture like mother/father day, new year...
Jake sully x m reader (after avatar (2009) Neytiri and him don't mate but stay friends)
this is supper short, i wasnt really sure what to do so im sorry if its different then you imagined anon
bold=english
In the forest two avatars sat, one with knees to his chest, the other sitting with his legs crossed. “It's pronounced christmas” jake was trying to teach y/n american culture, “what is a christmas?” y/n question, his brow knitted. “Its were humans celebrate jesus birth, their ewya, they open gifts as a way to celebrate him.” y/n quickly stood up. “Human are greedy idiots, a lot of holidays are just something they desire. They take, Not to celebrate." Jake's eyes were on y/n's moving figure, catching on that they weren't talking about holidays but the natives home. Jake always had a lending ear for y/n. He nodded when every y/n looked at him, throwing a few ‘i know i'm sorrys’ whenever he got agitated. After y/n ranted for a while, he looked at his beloved. Laying on the green grass, slowly breathing in and out, eyes closed. Y/n smiled at how peaceful Jake looked. He slipped through Jake's arm, nuzzling into his neck. He instantly felt Jake's arm pull him closer. No space left in between them.
Jake was the first to wake. It was already eclipse, few rays from the sun peeking through the darkness. Jake was still remembering the na’vi on his chest. He basked into the heat coming from y/n, it felt as if they were the ones alive, nobody else mattered to him other than y/n. Jake tried to readjust the two so that it would be more comfortable. A soft whine escaped y/n, opening his eyes as he looked up to jake. “Go to sleep my jake” he pulled himself closer to the bigger na’vi, easily falling asleep once again. Jake kissed y/ns forehead before going into a deep slumber.

Ok so I was hoping for a jake sully x male reader
Takes place between 1 and 2 (let’s say he didn’t get with natrei )
For the plot so the reader is with the science team he came after the war and he has an avatar body and norm tells jake that the reader wants to learn the way of the navi (like he did in the first film) and so the story is jake teaching him everything and thay both slowly fall in love but the reader thinks he can’t be with jake as a Navi ans than jake tells him about how awa can put him in the avatar body forever ( I love a good slow burn )
You are one of the Omatikaya Now - Jake Sully x Male! Avatar! Reader
God I had a field day with this request, absolutely loved writing this and it felt so good. I hope you enjoy it and I really did take on the slow burn fanfic style, this is pushing a good few thousand words.
CIS Women and Female Aligned people, please DNI, this story and all of my others are for non-binary, masculine aligned and male readers!
I stood next to Jake within the pathway of Navi, Avatars, and the few humans that were escorting the rest of the humans back to their transport ships and off of Pandora. They had destroyed Home tree, killed the clan leader of the Omatikaya, and lost the war between the indigenous and the colonizers. As the last shuttle was loaded and closed, I looked up at Jake, so much taller in his Avatar form than I was used to. I was assigned to help his team in the Hallelujah mountains, mostly with maintenance of the link units as that’s what I had been brought to Pandora for. I have an Avatar to use if needed or wanted, but he’s been in a monitored coma for months. He looked back down at me and smiled lightly, finally happy with the humans they deemed destructive and not deserving to be here off the planet.
“We did it, hurt like a bitch but we did it.” His voice brought a smile to my face, he always sounded so kind when he talked to me.
“Yeah, we did, what’s the plan now?” His head moved to face forward, thought written on his face.
“I’m not sure, although there are a few things I need to do tonight with the people.” Looking back down at me I knew he was contemplating something, but I figured it was best to leave it alone.
“Don’t do anything stupid.” He chuckled at my response.
“That’s the most fun stuff to do though.” We both laughed lightly while he began to sprint off to the forest line, his Ikran waiting in the trees. I headed back to the main facility and found my way to the link room. Jake was already out of his unit, sitting at the desk across from it with one of the recorders sitting in front of him. The same one I had seen throughout his entire journey of learning with Ney’tiri and the other Navi. I was jealous of him when I first heard what he was brought here to do. I never resented him for it, but I was definitely unhappy when he and Norm would hop into their links every morning knowing he was doing what I wanted to do. I had only confided in Norm and Grace a few times about how much I wanted to be out there and learning. I made sure to stay out of the way of his recorder and his vision, not sure what he was doing with it. When I heard the familiar beep of it turning off I made my way away from the link room and to my private room in the facility.
After that night I never saw Jake in his human body again, only his Avatar form. Once we kicked most of the humans off the planet, we found out that the Avatars could breathe in small amounts of our makeshift atmosphere. It wasn’t really good for them, not surprising given that their atmosphere is so different from ours. So the few engineers and scientists we had left focused on making a reverse oxygen mask that didn’t need to be used constantly for them. After about a week of tinkering and redesigning, we had a functional mask with an attachable tank that filtered and added the necessary elements to the air the Avatars could breathe inside the lab. Even working with things I loved, I still never felt like I actually belonged here fixing the links and workings in the lab. I was missing something, some excitement, a release from the real world. One night I was in the lab late and Norm had just gotten out of his link, coming over to check on me.
“Why’re you up so late? Someone need repairs on a machine?” He had spooked me a little and made me jump in my chair.
“Christ Norm, um no, just thinking too much to sleep, and this is the only place in the building with any good whiskey.” Norm chuckled and sat on the desk next to the bottle I had poured a glass of about half an hour ago.
“Well if you’re thinking, I’m here to listen, we’ve literally been through hell together.” His response made me laugh a bit more, deciding to say something now instead of forever holding my piece.
“I’m missing something, I don’t know what it is, some excitement maybe, something to make me feel alive. I’ve been stuck in this lab for years and never felt this way until a few months ago.” Norm looked shocked to hear such raw emotion in my voice, used to my calm and collected demeanor. Unbeknownst to me, Jake was about to come into the link room, coming to check on Norm after a bit of a rough day out in the field. “I wanted so badly to learn the ways of the people, I just wanted a chance to learn what it’s like to be a Navi, one of the Omatikaya. I never got it because I was sent here to fix machines and help the real Avatars do their job.” Tears began to gather in my eyes, I had never thought something would trigger such an emotional response. Norm sat silently, not sure what to say, and Jake was still ducked behind a wall, he felt so guilty for no reason, watching you stay behind and fix things while he went and did what you wanted to do. Rather than say anything, Norm just stood up, and hugged me, not even mentioning any of the tears he felt fall onto him.
“I’m so sorry you never got to do what you wanted to do, you more than deserve it, you’ve done so much for us.” Those words made the tears come faster, I couldn’t control it at this point, god I felt like such a loser, not even able to control my own emotions. After a good few minutes I patted Norms arm to let him know I was good.
“Thank you for this, it really was good to just let that out, I think I’m gonna go to bed now, night Norm.” He smiled lightly to show some kindness, nodding and patting my shoulder twice.
“Of course, good night (y/n).” I left the lab first, headed down the hall and somehow missing the 9 foot Avatar to my left while I turned right. Norm knew he had to look for Jake and talk to him about teaching him the ways of the people, he knew I needed that. To his surprise there Jake was standing against the wall of the hallway, occasionally taking breaths from the mask, a rather somber expression on his face.
“Hey, I was actually coming to look for you, we’ve gotta talk about something.” Jake looked down at Norm, then to the floor.
“If it’s about (y/n) I already have a plan to help him. I overheard the whole thing and I’m going to help him learn the ways of the Omatikaya.” Norm was wide-eyed, he never thought Jake would’ve heard them talking.
“Good, that’s one less thing to talk about, how about a chat about the mission today then?” Jakes ears perked up a bit, reminding himself why he’s here in the first place. They went into the link room to talk for another hour, all the while Jake was still planning how to help me learn the ways of the people.
Come the next morning, I woke up the blaring alarm I had become accustomed to scaring the shit out of me in the morning. Groaning and turning it off I sat up in bed, ready for another day of random fixes and sitting around doing nothing. A knock on my door spooked me, when it persisted I told them to wait a minute while I threw a shirt on. Opening the door I was graced with the sight of a blue abdomen, glancing up I saw Jakes smile.
“And what do I owe this early ass knock on my door for?” I really only had one eye open, and it was squinted shut slightly due to the bright lights in the hallway.
“You’ve got an Avatar right?” I was very confused at this point, but nodded my head. “Good, go get some coffee and breakfast then hop in a link, we’re exploring today.” Now I’m even more confused, but I continue with my morning and head to the cafeteria to get my coffee and plate of breakfast. Once done with that I go talk to Max about my Avatar.
“Hey Max, I need a favor.” He turned around in his chair to look at me.
“What’s up?” I didn’t really know how to phrase it without sounding weird so I just went for it.
“Jake told me we’re exploring today and I need my Avatar pulled out of his coma.” Max was stunned, I hadn’t used my Avatar for probably a year, everything being much easier if I just used an oxygen mask.
“Um sure, it’ll take me half an hour or so, I need to run vitals and check some things, I’ll let you know when you can hop in a link unit.” Nodding my head I went to find the giant blue alien that told me to do all this nonsense. Calling for his name I eventually realized he was sitting on a skylight we had over the cafeteria. Putting on an oxygen mask I went outside and climbed up to the roof, walking over to where he was still seated.
“Hey (y/n)! Why aren’t you in your Avatar yet?” I sat down next to him and explained that he had to be pulled out of a coma for me to use. “Wait, you haven’t used your Avatar in like a year, how often do you do external repairs?”
“Oh quite a lot, but the tools are all human sized and they refused to get me an enlarged set so I just put on an oxygen mask and deal with it.” His expression changed after hearing the company didn’t get the one thing I needed to do my job properly. “But Max is checking vitals and making sure the Avatar is fine right now, I should be getting a text or something from him soon that he’s ready.” Almost immediately after I finished my sentence, Max told me to get to the link room. “And there’s my cue, see you in a few.” Standing up I began to walk back to the edge of the roof and the ladder. Pulling my oxygen mask off I realized that I had to go through the proper Avatar training again because it’s been so long and groaned. Making my way to the links I saw Max standing at one.
“(Y/n)! Over here!” A picked up my walking pace to make it over to Max quickly. “Alright, I’ve got this one reserved for you, do you remember what to do once you’re in here?” I rolled my eyes a little.
“Of course, I had Grace teach me, remember? It’s a little hard to forget anything that women taught me.” Max chuckled and agreed quietly before heading to the observation room to help me adjust once I got into my Avatar. Laying down on the gel bed and putting the metal cage down I grabbed the top and did the same, starting to let my mind go blank. It was weird to feel the reconnecting of my subconscious to the Avatar. Waking up I put my hand over my eyes, not used to the bright light of the room. One of the scientists came up to me and started doing my physical and checking if everything was working appropriately. Once I was cleared I realized I was still in the medical outfit they put me in before my Avatar was put into a coma. Asking for one of the outfits they had prepared for me when I first landed here they handed one over. Getting dressed quickly I made my way outside and headed back up to the roof where Jake was still where I left him. Only this time he was laying down and clearly passed out. I made my way up to him and kicked his thigh.
“Wake up Taruk Makto, you said we’re exploring.” He sat up quickly and took in my appearance. I may have not used this avatar for a good long while but the natural muscle I had from the Navi DNA was clear.
“Holy shit, I know they used your DNA to make the Avatar but it really does look just like you. C’mon, we've got a lot of stuff to do.” He stood up and called for his Ikran. As it landed in front of him, Jake mounted it and reached out a hand for me. Not hesitating, I grabbed it and climbed on behind him. “Hold tight, we like to fly fast.” I scoffed at her statement.
“Yeah sure, I really don’t think you can fly that fast Sully.” Jake chuckled and shrugged his shoulders, signaling for his Ikran to take off. As soon as it’s wings we’re in the air I realized the enormity of my fuck up and very quickly clung onto Jake. All he could do was laugh at my reaction while I just buried my face in his shoulder, too scared to look down. Once we reached a higher altitude the Ikran slowed down a bit, leveling out as it only needed to glide now.
“A bit more of a warning would’ve been nice Sully.” He laughed at me again.
“If I recall I did warn you and you just scoffed at me.” I huffed back at him before looking to see us floating above the trees and headed towards the Hallelujah mountains. And just as I started to let go of Jake I very quickly held onto him again as he nose dived into the trees.
“You mother fucker! Warning next time!” His laugh was barely audible over the wind whipping across my overly sensitive ears. Landing on a very large branch of a tree he looked back to me still clung to his back.
“You can let go now, we’re on solid ground, well, solid tree.” Moving my head away from his back I let go and slid off the Ikran, sitting down very quickly on the branch and cherishing that it was not moving. “So are you just gonna sit here forever or am I gonna show you around?”
I glanced up at Jake who was standing behind me, hands on his hips. “Gimme a minute I’m still processing that I almost died twice cause of you and your shenanigans Sully.” Squatting beside me he put a hand on my shoulder.
“Get used to it cause if you wanna explore Pandora you’re gonna experience a lot of close calls.” I sighed and looked over at him.
“Really?” He nodded and confirmed by repeating what I said with less inquiry. “Well shit, alright where are we going next?”
Jake didn’t even answer me, simply stood up, grabbed my hand, dragged me back onto his Ikran and began flying again. We went to the place he was chased by the angry thanetor, then to where home tree once stood where he explained what it used to be like to be there with the people. Next to Mons Veritatis to see the unbonded Ikran in their home amongst the Hallelujah mountains. We flew over the tree of souls, I being an outsider to the Omaticaya couldn’t step foot on the sacred grounds. It was so much to look at and enjoy that by the end of it I had gotten used to flying on an Ikran, feeling the wind whip across my face and Jake's consistent nose dives he did to scare the shit out of me. Landing back at the main facility I let go of Jake and got off the Ikran, before I left I asked him something.
“Jake?” He stopped what he was doing before to look down at me.
“What’s up?” I was fiddling with my hands, nervous to ask but wanting an answer.
“How possible would it be for me to become one of the Omaticaya? I know it’s a hard ask and something that is maybe too selfish given what they’ve been through recently but I-“ Jake cut me off before I could keep rambling.
“I’ll ask Mo’at, as the Tsahik she has final say.” I nodded and muttered a thanks before he took off into the dark Pandoran night. Jumping off the roof I snuck my way into the Avatar bunks, taking up a spot for my own. Falling asleep comfortably knowing I might get the chance I always wanted made me all that more excited to wake up tomorrow. Coming out of the link I opened it and sat up, how could such a wonderful world be out there and I let myself be stuck in here for years?
I made my way out of the link room, passing by Max who was passed out at a desk, monitoring my brain activity while I was in my Avatar body. I grabbed one of the spare blankets Grace kept in her desk and draped it over him, then headed to my room to tuck in for the night. Climbing into my bed I passed out rather quickly, even being in Avatar form the whole day was exhausting.
The next morning I woke up to my alarm, damn near punching the clock to turn it off. I groaned and sat up, almost forgetting what I asked Jake about yesterday until there was a banging on my door.
“HOLD ON I JUST WOKE UP!” It stopped quickly and I shuffled my way to the door, eyes still heavy with sleep and opened it to see Jake standing there again.
“Finally, c’mon get into your Avatar, you need to talk to Mo’at.” I groaned and just nodded before following Jake to the link room and to the same one I used yesterday. Hopping in I was barely conscious enough to form any thoughts that would prevent my link from working. Waking up in my Avatar body I sat up and saw Jake sprinting into the bunks, searching for me.
“Over here numb nuts!” I shouted to him before he came and threw me over his shoulder. “Jake what the fuck are you doing?!?!”
“I said you gotta talk to Mo’at, that means in 10 minutes, we don’t have time to walk at your pace.” I grumbled and just accepted my fate of being carried by him. I would never admit out loud that it was kind of nice to be carried like this, considering I got a great view of Jake’s body. He dropped me right next to his Ikran, climbed on and dragged me on quickly, reminding me to actually hold on this time. We took off even faster than yesterday and I just held on even tighter, knowing that Jake really was rushing to get me to Mo’at. We made it to the small cave the remaining Omaticaya had found within the Hallelujah mountains to stay in. Jake dragged me through the Na’vi and all the way to a tent set up in the back of the cave to where Ney’tiri and Mo’at were talking. I had heard of Ney’tiri from Jake many times and every time I heard of her I grew more and more jealous that she spent more time with him than I did. Reaching the tent Jake walked in with me right behind him, still confused as fuck as to what was going on.
“Mo’at, Ney’tiri, I see you.” He used his hand to signal something from his forehead which they returned.
“Is this the dream walker who wishes to learn?” She gestured to me as Jake stepped aside to give them a full view of me.
“Yes, this is (y/n), he wishes to do what I have done, become one of the people.” I nodded and tucked my ears, confused, tired, and somewhat scared of her threatening aura.
“He seems weak and scared, are you sure he is strong enough to do what you did?” She asked Jake as she began to walk around me in a circle, observing my body, grabbing my tail and running a hand along my arms.
“Yes, I am sure he is strong enough for this.” Mo’at gave an approving hum, continuing to examine me before she took something from her necklace and pricked my arm. I hissed at the action, it stung more than I was expecting.
“JakeSully, you will teach him our ways, teach what we have taught you, you are Omaticaya, if you seek help, Ney’tiri may offer assistance.” When her name was mentioned she looked me up and down and over to Jake, her eyes widened and softened when she looked at Jake. She likes him, I knew it the moment I saw her look at Jake, I felt anger boil inside of me but tried so hard to put it down while in the presence of the Tsahik.
“Thank you Mo’at.” She nodded and went back to sitting next to Ney’tiri discussing what they had before. Jake just grabbed my arm and guided me out of the tent. He had his own up in one of the higher parts of the cave, it was small but homey. “Put this on, I’ll be outside.” He threw what looked like a loin cloth at me before stepping outside.
“Jake, you say put this on, but this isn’t clothing, it’s a strip of animal skin.” He chuckled and popped his head back in.
“Yep, and that’s what you wear when you are one of the people, now stop whining and put it on.” I groaned but did as he said, leaving my entire uniform in his tent before stepping out and looking at him, rather uncomfortable with the situation. “Great, first things first, we’ve gotta toughen up those feet and you’ve gotta learn to ride a horse.” He just jumped down and expected me to follow him, I groaned again and did as he expected. We ran through the cave and back to his Ikran, he hopped on and I followed suit before he took off to a pasture. Many different horses were wandering about and grazing, some with young and others without. Hopping off the Ikran, Jake ushered me to follow him. Showing me how to bond with the creatures of Pandora, Jake hopped onto the dire horse and performed tsaheylu with it. I watched in amazement as he began to do what he did with the Ikran and command it to move mentally, then verbally to show me how he did it. This was only the beginning of the process. Over the next few months, Jake taught me every custom, practice, fighting and hunting style he could think of, he even started to teach me the language. In that time my love for him only grew stronger. I wanted to be near him more and more, have him somehow teach me more things, just spend time hunting so I could be with him. By the end of the third month I had done everything Jake could teach, all but three things. Taming an Ikran for my own, and taking part in the ceremony where I will be reborn as one of the people. As for the third, Jake still refuses to tell me what it is, I can only make educated guesses based on what I have learned so far.
We rode dire horses up to the point that they could no longer traverse, instead using the dangling vines and sturdy islands to make our way up to the home of the Ikran. We made it to the final stretch, a waterfall covered passage with a thin walkway where I would have to plaster myself against the wall to not fall.
“You got this, c’mon, peace of cake considering what you’re about to do.” I gave Jake a look before following him across the thin strip of rock. Coming out on the other side there was Ikran of every color, staring down and beginning to hiss at us for invading their home.
“Well now we’re here, the fuck am I supposed to do?” Jake chuckled and turned around to speak to me more clearly.
“Firstly, you have to find the Ikran that wants to kill you the most. Second, use this to wrap around the jaw to keep the mouth closed, it’ll save your life. Third, if something goes wrong, I’ll be here to get you out of there, got it?” I was still stuck in awe at the first thing he said to me.
“I’m sorry, it’s gonna try to kill me?!?!” Sighing Jake put his hands on my shoulders.
“Yes, now are the instructions clear?” I groaned in response before nodding and mumbling a yes. “Great, get out there and kick some ass, and try to get an Ikran to make tsaheylu while you’re at it!” Pushing me into the more open area, I was greeted by many different hisses in all directions. I already had my rope unraveled and swinging slightly to give me the upper hand once I found mine. Walking through the crowd I kept my eyes focused, waiting for the one to hop out and try to attack me. Many Ikran stepped up and jumped back or flew away quickly once I hissed back at them. I had hissed back at probably 15 that didn’t want to fight back, and then one started to circle me.
Bright yellow and green with splotches of blue along its back, it stepped ever so closer to me while still circling. We hissed back and forth a few times before I started to get closer to it.
“Let’s go motherfucker.” Running at the Ikran I managed to get behind it rather quickly, wrapping the rope around its jaw and pinning the wings to the ground, doing my best to not hurt it.
“Tsaheylu (y/n)! Tsaheylu!!!!” Jake screamed from behind me, reminding me that I had to bond with the damned thing. Grabbing one of the tunnels I tried to pull my braid from behind me to bond quickly, but got smacked in the face by the Ikrans head. I almost let go but tightened my grip quickly and pulled myself back up, initiating tsaheylu as fast as possible. Both our eyes shot wide at the bond, and suddenly it calmed down and stopped trashing underneath me. I pulled the rope off its mouth, gently draping myself over its neck and head, taking a breather.
“As much as I’d love to tell you that you get a break, the first flight seals the bond and is super important. Get going soldier!” Jake shouted from behind me once again, reminding me that there’s more to the process than just bonding with the damn thing.
“Fine, fine, I’ll try not to die, but if I do, you gotta tell Max and Norm.” Jake gave me a panicked expression when he realized he would have to tell them if I died.
“You better not, Max’ll kill me!” I laughed and began to move with myIkran to the edge of the cliff. Internally telling it to jump and fly, it did so, hopping off the cliff and starting to flap its wings. We dropped slightly but gliding was pretty easy compared to getting a horse to move. I started doing turns and dodging some of the floating mountains, Jake soon appeared behind me, riding his Ikran.
“So, how’re you liking flying?” I looked behind me for a second to see Jake, shocked and less scared now that I knew where his voice came from.
“It’s a lot more comforting having me controlling the Ikran than you.” He gave an offended gasp at my statement, quickly moving closer to me to have me see his face. “What it’s true, you fly like a maniac.”
“Hey, maniac or not, I’ve had a lot more practice than you.” He pointed an accusing finger at me, making me laugh. It was early in the morning when I tamed my Ikran, and later that evening was the ceremony for me to become one of the people.
Flying back to the floating island the Omaticaya had settled in, I landed and followed Jake back to the tent with Ney’tiri and Mo’at.
“Tsahik, he is ready.” Jake announced as we walked in, I signaled to both of the ladies while saying “I see you” in their language. I got a look of surprise from them both as they hadn’t seen me since that first day I showed up in my military uniform.
“It appears he is, before dusk you will become one of the people.” I bowed in response and thanked her, following Jake out of their tent and back to his on the other side of the cave.
“Well would you look at that, in just a few months you’ve gone from nerdy dream walker to one of the people. It took me a lot longer, you’re a fast learner.” Jake gave me a good few smacks on the back as a “good job”.
“Thanks, I had a good teacher, a handsome one at that.” He turned back around at my second comment, confused by what I said.
“Did you just call me handsome?” I realized what I had said, and just nodded with mildly flushed cheeks. “If you think I’m handsome, what else do you think of me?”
“W-well I think you’re a good teacher, a great soldier, really strong and intelligent…” I started to trail off after Jake got closer and closer to me.
“Oh yeah? Anything else you wanna add to that list? You’re getting awfully quiet.” At this point Jake was leaning over me, on his knees, hands cornering me against the back of his tent and the floor.
“Um, I don’t really know if I should keep adding to that list, your ego might get too big, or something else.” Jake somehow managed to get even closer, mere inches from my lips, I was breathing heavily, not sure what to do.
“Jake, (y/n)? It is time to prepare for the ceremony.” Ney’tiri came around the edge of the tent and inside right as Jake got off of me and sat beside me, trying to hide what he was doing before.
“Oh, right of course, I’ll leave you to it then, she’s a gentle touch.” Jake leaned over to whisper the last part before leaving the tent.
“Hello Ney’tiri, what do I need to do for this?” She sat down a bowl with white liquid in it, a few rags and another bowl with water.
“Nothing, I will do everything I need to as you are, just sit still.” Nodding, I let her get to work. I felt her grab one of the rags and dip it in the water to wash me of any dirt or other filth. Then she dipped her fingers in the white bowl and began to trace my skin in very circle-like ways until I had been covered almost entirely in the white paint.
“Jake, you may come back inside. You taught him our ways, you must walk him to the ceremony.” Walking back inside, Jake gave a look of surprise, I guess he’d forgotten what it looked like to be covered in the same paint.
“Of course, thank you Ney’tiri, I’ll see you there.” She nodded and exited the tent as Jake came over to help me up. “C’mon, we’ve got a lot of Na’vi out there waiting for you.”
I stood and followed Jake out of the tent, down to the center of the cave where all the Omaticaya were gathered. Standing before the Tsahik, Mo’at put both her hands on my shoulders and muttered something in Na’vi I couldn’t hear. Soon every member of the clan had a hand connected to me or through another person already touching me. After the ceremony, Jake grabbed my hand and dragged me to our Ikran. We flew to one of the rivers to let me rinse all the paint off, before he had me get back on and begin flying again. We made our way to one of the sacred sites where a tree was connected to Eywa.
“This is a place of memories, where the people connect to Eywa to see their loved ones, speak to them, relive memories.” I gave a gasp of awe at how beautiful it was, running my hands through the dangling branches. “And now that you are one of the people, you may choose a mate. There are many of the Omaticaya to choose from. Great hunters, warriors, singers, cooks, mothers and fathers.”
“There are many yes, but I don’t want any of them, I know who I want.” Jake turned to glance at me over his shoulder.
“Well, if you know who you want, you should ask them, don’t let me stop you.” I moved closer to Jake, putting a hand on his shoulder to turn him around.
“The man I want must also choose me.” Looking him in the eyes I noticed his softened greatly while he stared into mine.
“He already has, just waiting for you to make the first move.” Grabbing my waist, I pulled Jake into a kiss, long and full of emotion. We let go for only a moment to catch our breaths, before going right back at it. Sitting down, Jake on top of me, we mated that night, before Eywa, in the sacred place.
I woke up in my link, not sure what to do now, I had mated with Jake as my Avatar, but now I had no way to be with him without this stupid fucking link. I walked back to my room and cried for what felt like hours but couldn’t have been more than one hour. I fell asleep like that and woke up to my alarm the next morning, still sad and not sure what to do. I walked back to the link room, getting into the one I had grown familiar with. My human body had suffered because of the training and spending almost all of my days with Jake in my Avatar body.
Hopping in and reawakening in my Avatar, I was back in the cave with Jake, not sure what was going on. He was still asleep, but I knew I couldn’t go back to sleep with him unless I wanted to end the connection to my Avatar. I waited for probably another hour before Jake woke up, smiling when I saw him open his eyes and look down at me, instinctively wrapping his arms tighter around me.
“Jake, I have a serious question.” He leaned back from me.
“Yeah, what’s up?” I could feel the tears surfacing, it was gonna be a stupid answer and a lot of “well tough luck”.
“Is there a way for me to fully be in my Avatar body, forever, without having to get in the link every morning? I don’t want to pretend that I’m fully one of the Omaticaya when I’m still a dream walker to all of them.” The tears bubbled up and Jake leaned down to kiss my eyes, leaning back to smile at me.
“Yes, there is definitely a way to make that possible, what did you think happened to me?” I guess I never really thought of it, I just assumed he was still using a link somewhere else not in the main facility.
“Really? Can we do it tonight?” I sat up and straddled his lap, excited now to be able to join him forever as an Avatar.
“I’ll have to talk to Mo’at, we should be able to.” My tail was wagging behind me like a puppy about to get a treat.
“That’s great, thank you Jake.” I leaned down to lay on his chest, hugging him as well.
“Of course honey, of course.” That evening Jake took me to the tree of souls, where once again all the Omaticaya were gathered for me. Walking my human body, fully awake and Ney’tiri carrying my Avatar, they laid both me and my Avatar down at the tree beside Mo’at.
“Eywa, we wish to take all that he is and bring it into this body, please allow him to pass through your eye and return safely to us.” That was the last thing I heard as I was suddenly taken from consciousness. It felt like I was in an empty void for a few minutes, walking through and trying to find someone, anyone, hell anything. Then suddenly I saw a bright light and followed it out of the void where I awoke again under the tree of souls, Jake, Mo’at and Ney’tiri standing above me.
“What’s going on?” I asked and Jake grabbed my face to kiss me, a surprise but a nice one.
“It worked, you passed through the eye of Eywa, you’re in your Avatar forever now.” I looked down at my hands, sure enough, blue as the day I first linked with my Avatar. I was finally going to get the life I always wanted.

☆ Vulnerability
Synopsis 𖦹 : for the time in what seems like a life time. Jake Sully is terrified.
note 𖦹 : I hope this synopsis makes sense :,) i’m bad at these. Also i rlly hope this makes sense, if not it becomes part of Killjoy’s sleep deprived nonsense.
Jake Sully x Male!Reader
Tw !: panic attack, mentions of weapons, arguments (nothing bad !)
Jake doesn’t remember it completely. Almost as if a soldier took over his body. One second he hears his youngest son tell him that a couple of avatars were found on forbidden territory. The next second he can feel the rain against his skin, and then hears the sound of his axe strike an avatar at the neck. The second after, he hugs his children who are silently crying, trying to reassure them but the world around him seems distant.
The next he’s arguing with you, scared at the inevitable that he has to leave this place. Leave being Toruk Makto behind him to protect his family. “We cannot be here, Quaritch is hunting us down. We are active targets !” He says, your lips turn to a thin line. “You cannot ask this, Ma Jake ! you-you cannot ! YOU CANNOT ! This jungle, this tent, the people, the kids. THIS IS OUR HOME”
“HE HELD OUR KIDS, HE HAD OUR KIDS RIGHT UNDER HIS KNIFE” He loudly grits, and the tent falls silent. His eyes begin to get glossy, “I-“ His voice is stuck in his throat, he finds it hard to breathe, it’s harsh like waves breaking. Suddenly he’s hot and cold at the same time, his body numbing.
He feels small again, as if he was back in his human form. Stuck in a wheelchair and a mask just so he can breathe. God he feels pathetic. He hasn’t felt this way, since…since he found out his brother died. He hasn’t felt this terrified since he found his brother in a body bag.
“Ma Jake ?” he hears, but his hearing becomes muffled and his sight is beginning to get blurry. His hands start to tremble, he was so stuck in his head that he doesn’t notice you walking towards him. “I don’t know what to do.” He chokes out. He tries to say more but it feels as if he’s being strangled.
“Love, breathe.” he hears, he feels something warm grab his hand and lift towards something else warm. His palm lands on a surface, he can feel it pulse. A heartbeat.
“Ma Jake, breathe with me. Come on, Inhale.” He hears, and he feels his other than grabbed being grabbed towards a plush stomach. That rises up and down ever so slowly. “Again, with me. In-“ he hears, and does. His sucks in as much breath as possible, and he lets it out just ask you commanded . “Good job, again. In-“ and he does, suddenly things are slowly coming back. He cries still, he tries to not make a peep. Only small whimpers come out, with soft tears down his cheeks. “I don’t know what else to do.” He whisper out, his ears falling back. He leans into your touch, finding safety in your warmth. “the kids shouldn’t be here to expierence this, to go what we went through.” He rasps, and he feels you hum.
He looks at you, “and look, I don’t got a plan. I don’t know what to do. But i can protect this family, that i can do.” He grits, he tries to seem strong but he cries still. Tears are salty, his tears taste salty. He watches as you close your eyes, and your lips slightly quiver as well, a tear falls from your cheek and onto his shoulder. “okay.” you whisper, it’s quiet.
“i love you so much, Ma Y/N” he sniffles, hugging you tightly. Hiding his tears in the crook of your neck, softly kissing your neck and shoulders. You hug back, as you silently cry. “We’ll get through this.” he hears you say, and he wonders whether that was for him and you, or maybe a prayer to Eywa, or if you were saying it to give yourself the silghtest comfort. He couldn’t tell.
“Yeah.” He affirms, “We’ll get through this.” He repeats, and his thoughts. This was a prayer to eywa to protect his children. Begging for the children to experience a Quaritch free childhood and adulthood, to expierence no more Sky people. Begging that his children never see him this vulnerable ever again.
The exact children that watch from outside the tent, scared for their future, and their parents.

Easing the pain Jake sully x gn!reader
Thank you so much for the request I hope it meets your expectations, this isn’t my best work 😭
Fluff & comfort
synopsis: you help Jake take a load off after a mission
Jake had just gotten back from another mission against the sky people. He usually comes back pretty banged up but this time to your surprise he was practically untouched. Until later in the night you caught him hissing when he would move his neck around too much. His signs of pain made your ears flicker to the source of the sound. “Ma Jake, what it wrong?” You ask taking hold of his hands, scanning his face. “It’s my neck, it’s stiff” he says trying to rub the nape of his neck to find some sort of relief. Smacking his hand away you guide him to lay on his stomach on the flood of your shared tent.
Crouching down next to him you begin to firmly but gently rub his shoulders and neck, relieving the tension. Earning sounds of satisfaction from your mate, you smile to yourself know that you skills to yourself knowing that you’re helping him feel good. “Is that any better?” You say letting him sit up to face you. He stretches his arms up and pops his neck “A lot better, thank you” he says placing his hand on your face, rubbing your cheekbones. Wrapping your arms around his neck in response as you sit yourself on his lap, closing the gap between you two. He movies his hands down your back to support your weight and rub soothing circles. Snuggling your face into the crook of his neck as you place loving pecks along his collar bone.
Times like this make you love the simplicity of your relationship and having these sweet shared moments together. Placing a kiss atop your head, he stands up carrying you to your bed. “I see you” he states looking into your eyes as you lay on top of his body. Turning your head to the side to hear his heartbeat and fully take him in. “I see you ma Jake.”The two of you fall asleep in each others arms, the sound of his heart and his breathing are like their own brand of melatonin. Jake is eternally grateful to be given a new shot at life with you at his side.

Avatar headcanons
top male reader
a/n: this is my thank you for 1k. I still can't believe I hit that milestone, thank you so much. warnings will be put before each character's headcanons & there’ll be a small scenario for each character.
Jake Sully
sir k. | hair pulling | deepthroating | brat taming
RDA Jake was definitely into calling you "sir", before he gained his confidence as a warrior. He blurted it out to you without you even needing to coax it out of him.
Hair pulling is a big kink of his, especially when he sucks you off or you fuck him from behind. He still hasn't gotten used to how sensitive his avatar's braid is.
If you pull on his braid while shoving your cock down his throat or pounding his guts from behind, he won't be able to hold back from drooling.
He's loud and whiny.
Can't hold back his cries when you ignore his whiny "wait"s and continue pistoling your cock into him, even after he just came.
He gained more of an ego after becoming a respected na'vi warrior and getting put in his place became a necessity.
He started acting out on purpose just so you would force him down and make him take what you gave him.
Jake's just a slut for you behind closed doors. Letting you have your way with him and whining when you don’t.
“You can do better than that, can’t you?” You watched Jake do his best to fit your heavy cock in his throat. Jake shook his head, looking up at you through his wet eyelashes. You sighed, running your hand up his neck and gripping his braid. Jake flinched, eyes fluttering shut when you brought your other hand to the top of his head.
He moaned around your cock when you forced him down, your cock bullying its way into his throat. Jake choked and drool seeped past his lips, drowning your cock in his saliva. The grip you had on his sensitive braid was unfaltering and it only made Jake needier. The strong Jake Sully on his knees before you was something you could get used to.
Neytiri
praise | dacryphilia | pussy eating | cockwarming
This pretty girl's still so shy when you fuck.
Neytiri comes undone in seconds when you praise her. Just hearing a "good" leave your lips will have her biting her lip to hold back her smile and hiding her face behind her hair.
She’s so pretty and the tears that threaten to spill over when you hold her only make her prettier.
She’s so sensitive that it makes her cry, especially when you eat her out.
When you first ate her out, she couldn’t decide between throwing her head back or letting it fall forward against yours, between her thighs.
She loves it, feels that it’s intimate.
Neytiri is vanilla, at least during the beginning.
Everything makes her shy and she just wants to be held and taken care of.
Cockwarming.
She’ll sit in your lap or lay with her back against your chest, your cock heavy inside her tight walls.
She’s so obedient. She never moves unless you tell her to, and when she’s desperate, she only whines and pleas.
She’s so cute, sorry.
Neytiri played with her braids, looking forward to avoid eye contact with you.
“You’re so pretty,” you pressed a kiss against her neck and she tensed, turning her head to finally look at you over her shoulder. She had a shy smile on her face and could only hope her flushed cheeks were unnoticeable under her hair. “So obedient for me.”
You placed your hands on her thighs and rolled your hips for the first time.
“Ah-!” Neytiri moaned, throwing her head back against your shoulder. You turned to kiss her cheek and she placed her hands on yours. “Good girl.”
Tsu'tey
manhandling | belly bulge | size kink a little bit
Tsu'tey was an uncharacteristically shy virgin, and remains pretty vanilla. Intimacy and sex are still foreign to him.
He had trouble stifling his moans even when you kissed him longer than he was used to.
He let you take control and his mind spun when you pushed him into different positions for your own pleasure.
Tsu’tey is so aware of how easily you fit your hands around his slim waist and thighs.
His waist is so tiny that a belly bulge is inevitable. He nearly came untouched the first time he saw it.
Possessiveness makes Tsu’tey weak. He loves it when you add a “my” when talking about him.
Pairing that with praise gets him whiney.
Something as simple as “my strong warrior” makes Tsu’tey desperate.
You pulled Tsu’tey back against yourself, hands engulfing his little waist. You bottomed out and Tsu’tey moaned, throwing his head back.
“Look at that,” you squeezed his waist to get his attention. Tsu’tey looked at where you were looking and felt his breath get caught in his throat. You pressed against the bulge in his stomach with your thumb, “Fuck…”
Tsu’tey chest heaved and he pressed his hand flat against his stomach. You grabbed one of his thighs and pressed it against chest, fucking into him with a newfound desperation. Tsu’tey nearly whined, lifting his hand to look at his stomach again with eyes blown wide. You smiled, “so good… all mine.”
Miles Quaritch
humiliation | degradation | deepthroating / facefucking | choking / breath play | gun play
He still hasn't gotten fully used to an avatar body so he's sensitive to every touch.
Miles has trouble admitting that he likes it when you make fun of him.
He finds it so hot when you put him in his place for talking back. He's so used to being the one feared and respected that it always shuts him up when you insult him.
Miles has a thing for deepthroating. Forcing his head down and forcing your cock further down his throat until he can hardly breathe has him near delirious.
The way you treat him is far from how he was treated in his division.
When he acts out, you disregard his words and only use him for your own satisfaction, leaving him alone as soon as you finish.
You humiliate him and insult his pride and he always comes back for more.
Gun play is something that plagues Miles’ mind. He can only bite his lip and roll his hips desperately when you point a gun at him and threaten him. He can’t help but find it hot.
Especially if you press the barrel against his mouth and force his lips open to shut him up when he gains some of his ego back.
Has trouble keeping his hands to himself, always fucks something up and you begin to wonder if it’s on purpose.
“You- ah!” You pulled Miles down onto your lap.
“Yeah?” His breath hitched when you rested the cold barrel of your gun against his neck and he only scowled in response. He hoped you’d ignore the way his chest heaved and the way he was clenching your cock. You shifted your thighs to bounce him in your lap, “you said you’d ride me, wouldn’t you? Do I have to help you with this, too?”
Miles shook his head and lifted himself up, you put your free hand on his thigh, “you’re shaking.”

Headcanon:
Both Neytiri and Jake liking you
Request: Yes or No
Sorry for the sudden absence! I will try to get When Fire Meets Fate out soon
~~~
You'd met Jake at the compound with Grace introducing you as his babysitter. The chuckle that had escaped you at her words made his skin flush
However, there were some truth to her words. You never allowed Jake to stray far and always kept him within view. It had made Jake feel like a child at first but he grew to find comfort in your stare and even felt uneasy when he didn't feel your eyes on it
Along with the uneasiness was this prick of neediness. A desire to have your attention on him at all times
And his desire had been fulfilled the first few days on Pandora. You were his teacher along with Grace and Norm. You taught him about Pandora, the dos and don'ts, and the little knowledge you had about the Na'vi
Despite your lessons Jake still managed to get himself in trouble with the thanator and separated from you and the others
When he returned- his avatar tucked away safely with the Na'vi to Grace's relief- he met your eyes first and gleefully smile, ready to tell you all about his meeting with the Na'vi clan
While you were glad to see him fine, you still smacked the back of his head (not that it did much considering he laughed afterward)
His encounters were amazing for Grace to hear and he often found himself in your room retelling the story with all the tiny details. You were easy to talk to and it helped him feel more comfortable with his new life
He kept his meetings with Colonel Quaritch a secret however. You and Grace were close as you had been assigned as a soldier for her team and your dislike for the man who was still essentially your boss was apparent
But, regardless of secrets, he certainly didn't keep you from Neytiri. His evolving friendship with the fiery native had gotten to the point where he felt comfortable talking to her about things, including you
And Neytiri was curious, albeit still hesitant on meeting another soldier given everything the humans did, but still curious enough to convince her parents to allow both Grace and you to meet her people (much to the delight of Jake)
Her ears twitched and turned, listening to the sound of the chopper flying away. She could feel the excitement oozing of Jake in waves and a small smile tugged at her blue lips as she glanced at him. Jake's eyes lit up as you pushed through the brush, Grace following close behind you.
"Good to finally see this guy again." You grinned at him and Jake's tail twitched and lashed from contained happiness. Neytiri met Grace's gaze first and exchanged a fond look with her, the memories of their time together before the school had shut down still fresh in their minds. Sylwanin would've been pleased to see her again.
"You know Grace." Jake turned his head to look at Neytiri, motioning to the older woman before he lifted his hand in your direction. "This is (Y/N)."
"I've heard much about you." Neytiri spoke, eyeing the gun in your hands. Without looking away from her, you shifted the gun and allowed it to rest against your back and out of view. You made no attempt to greet her with a handshake and instead gave a small nod.
"All good things, I hope." You smiled and she relaxed. You had a warm air about you, one that calmed her. While your ears twitched at every sound and your eyes occasionally flickered about, you weren't as tense or jumpy as the other humans she'd seen. Calm yet alert. You'd fit in fine with her people, she could tell already.
Much to the surprise of her parents and Tsu'tey, you had given up your gun without any complaint. This willingness had caused Mo'at and Eytukan to share an approving look
While you'd been more than happy to learn the language and culture, you'd been more apprehensive about exchanging your clothes for a loincloth. You'd already teased Jake about his enough, you didn't want to tables turned which did disappoint Jake in the slightest.
After moving to a spot in the Hallelujah Mountains, you and Jake were able to spend even more time together
Of course with him focusing more on his life with the Na'vi it meant he forgot to do things like eat, drink, and overall take care of himself
When it got to a worrying point, you backed him in a corner and essentially spoon fed him until he caught the hint. Although it took a bit since he got a fluttery feeling when he realized you were taking care of him in such a domestic way and didn't want it to stop
Back with the Na'vi, Neytiri had quickly warmed up to you, much faster than it'd taken for her to warm up to Jake
You were more observant and a quick learner so you learned the language quick meanwhile Jake still had trouble speaking it
And of course, you'd finally given in to the loincloth after much consideration
"Oh, well look at you!" Grace called in a teasing tone, laughing when you grumbled in return. Neytiri and Jake turned in your direction upon hearing her voice, eyes zoning in on you immediately.
"This is..." You huffed softly, skin flushing as you crossed your arms over your chest. You hadn't been this exposed to the world since the day you left the womb. Your pressed lied flat against your chest, lips pulled into a cute scowl and tail lashing wildly behind you.
"You look fine." Neytiri spoke first, rising from her hunches and approaching you with a small smile. Jake took a moment as he studied the details of your body, committing everything to memory before you could regret the decision and return to your shirt and cargo pants.
"Y-Yeah! You look great, (Y/N)." Jake agreed, rising as well and grinning widely. "I think it's about time you start hunting."
"I believe you'd take to a bow easily. You've got strong arms, good eyes." Neytiri pressed her hands to your abdomen and inhaled deeply, nodding her head for you to mimic her. You did so and she hummed in approval, hands lingering before they dropped to her sides.
"If Jake of all people can do it, I'm sure I'll do fine." You replied, hearing Neytiri giggle and Jake huff playfully.
Despite having little interest in joining her clan, Neytiri insisted on teaching you to hunt. It began with instructing you on how to hold a bow
She was gentler with you than she was with Jake- something he picked up on- but she was regardless strict and firm though she rarely lost her patience as she had with Jake
Neytiri admired your openness to learning the way of her people. Jake had been open but stubborn in letting go of the human way resulting in his training taking longer than yours
The clan had been more accepting of you as well, with even Tsu'tey keeping his comments solely directed at Jake instead both you and him
The more time you spent with Jake and Neytiri, the more they grew attached. You didn't get much time alone as the two always found you somehow, always following and watching
So, when you inevitably caught the eye of another Na'vi, the two noticed immediately
Running your fingers over the arch of the training bow, you narrowly missed the shadow that fell over you. Tilting your head up, you rose to your full height and offered the woman a smile.
"(Y/N)." Ninat greeted, lifting her fingers to her forehead and lowering her hand. While you had only seen her in passing, her voice demanded attention during ceremonies. It carried over the others, powerful and beautiful. "I've heard you've taken well to the bow."
Neytiri watched from her spot beside Jake, fingers remaining on her forearm as she studied you and Ninat. Jake took notice, lowering his arms and nearly letting the arrow slip from his fingers. He curiously followed her gaze and felt his stomach twist. Ninats' body language as she spoke to you made her intentions obvious. She was flirting. With you.
Neytiri broke away from Jake, reaching you in a couple quick strides. Jake stumbled after her, slipping the bow over his shoulder and clearing his throat to grab your attention.
"Hey, you two." You greeted casually and Ninat released an unsatisfied hum, greeting Neytiri in typically Na'vi fashion.
"You're ready to hunt, (Y/N). Come, you must track-"
"I could accompany him. JakeSully will need you for training."
"Nonsense." Neytiri sharply turned toward her. Ninat lowered her ears, holding Neytiri's gaze for a few seconds before she looked away, murmuring a farewell to you.
"I'm sure she could've-" You clamped your mouth shut when Neytiri turned her glare onto you.
"Come, you both must prove yourselves." Neytiri muttered bitterly, glancing in Ninats direction before she stalked off.
Neytiri's foul mood had disappeared after you and Jake successful completed your hunt and it was instead replaced with pride
Jake had beamed and boasted about it to Norm whilst you watched, chuckling along and eating a meal. Jake felt proud, not only proud that he had his first kill but proud of you too
Climbing up the Hallelujah Mountains to reach ikran territory had been a challenge and Jake had made sure to check on you every few minutes, anxiety gripping his mind the higher up they went until they reached ikran territory
Neytiri felt confident in your abilities along w Jake's so when she arrived, she addressed you both with reassuring smiles and explained what needed to be done in order to claim an ikran. You and Jake exchanged a look upon hearing how the ikrans chose their riders
Nevertheless, you and Jake were successful again. Jake had gone first, struggling and nearly being thrown off the side of the mountain but he'd gotten their queues together and took off into the skies with a surprised shout. Neytiri waited for you to tame a ikran before taking to the skies, showing her pride through shouts and vocal calls
Not long after, she gleefully led you and Jake to a place she called the Tree of Voices. It lived up to its names when you were able to hear the voices of past Na'vi upon connecting your queue to it
And then, Neytiri revealed another thing...
"You may make your bow from the wood of Hometree." She murmured, the blissful look on her face disappearing. "And you may choose a mate."
"A mate?" You repeated, disconnecting your queue from the vines and blinking at her. Jake's lips parted and he glanced between you and Neytiri. The woman turned her back to you, gazing up at the sky.
"We have many good men and women. Strong, loyal... Good hunters and fighters."
"And what if I don't want just one?" Jake questioned softly and Neytiri looked over her shoulder at him, ears perking up. Jake swallowed and met your curious gaze.
"Who do you want, Jake?" You asked softly.
"Neytiri." Jake answered and she smiled fondly. "And you."
Hc's of some characters and the crap they deal with when they're with you
synopsis: just your daily life with the ones you care about (reader is not specified as male or female, but dose have a child written in some of these parts)
Parings: Jake, Lyle, Tonowari, Z-Dog
Warnings: reader sniping Lyle in the back of the head with a shoe, messing with Quaritch. You in Z-Dog being besties.(maybe somethin' more) Yeeting a child, just your normal day with someone you care about <3
Jake
You two where known for doing stupid shit, and Jake's mate, Neytiri.. would beat both of your guy's asses because of it, but you didn't regret it.
Totally bitch slapped Jake with a fish when he said something stupid about you.
Would be your go too buddy when you wanna get high as balls with someone. (Neytiri in the background watching over two adult toddlers being stupid again-)
Totally didn't make Jake try to catch a fish with his bare hands just so you could kick him into the water
When you two where absolutely fucking wasted. You stared at him, and he stared at you. Suddenly both of you started laughing like two school girls, covering your face with your hands as you hunched over.
When he fell asleep, you surprisingly had a marker on your person, so you took an advantage over this opportunity. (You totally scribbled a dick on his forehead,)
Also, if you got annoyed with one of his kids. You'd just throw them into the nearest lake. All he'd hear was "YAH YEET-" then a splash and laughter.
Lyle
You two had so much fun picking on each other,
You randomly slapped cheese onto his bald head, before running off and him chasing after your ass
You yanked on his tail, to grab his attention usually. But if he annoys you, you pull his ear sometimes, either that. Or he would wake up with dildos attached to his ceiling. (Don't ask where y/n got them)
That one time he ducktaped your kid to the wall.. his ass was sniped with a fucking boot, you had hit him so hard in the back of the head, that he actually fell. And you didn't feel sorry.
You two are the type of freinds to sound like they're gonna fuck, or sound like they're gonna kill each other.
Totally to just randomly slap his ass and say something stupid like "yee haw!" Or "getty up horsey"
Both of you would definitely do loud ass fake moans, especially when you two are high as fuck
Z-Dog
Gurl- you two would make stupid bets sometimes
"Bet you won't slap Quaritches ass"
"How much?"
"20."
"25 and we have a deal"
"Bet"
And so you slapped Quaritches ass and pinned the blame on Mansk. And he got such a severe ass beating, and oh my God you almost felt sorry.
One time you stole her bubblegum by distracting her with a kiss. Definitely got smacked, but it was worth it.
Definitely would have stupid arguments, like who has cooler tattoos or scars.
Man its so funny messing with her, she always gets so mad its funny. Just wait til your in your human body again, you're so fucked.
"I wonder what female tittys feel like"
"Touch mine"
"Okay-" when you just straight up grabbed her tit. She bitch slapped you
"OW-"
"DONT TOUCH MY TITTY!"
"BITCH YOU GAVE ME PERMISSION!!"
"I was joking you dumbass"
"Ass" was all you said as you rubbed the sore spot
You two would probably cuddle in her or your bed. Arms wrapped around her waist, with your head against her chest.
Tonowari
Pray to Eywa that this man doesn't get a heart attack from you doing stupid shit.
"Wanna see me jump off a cliff?"
"No. Please my love-"
As you turned around, you fucking sprinted like there was no tomorrow to the edge of the cliff. Before jumping "Fuck gravity!!" Was all you said as you fell down, and yeah. There was water at the bottom, poor boys heart almost fell out of place
You had an Ikran, and swore this bitch hated you sometimes.
As you where talking to Tonowari, you ignored the fact that your Ikran was nudging its head into your back, asking for attention. Once it got so annoyed, it stopped, before turning around and fucking whip lashed you with its tail.
Let's say you had a bruise and a worried Tonowari on your hands now.
There was a time where you'd get annoyed with your own kid. And sometimes would just throw them, into water or onto a bed. Never actually hurting them. All Tonowari saw was that small sweet lil thing pushing you arm and saying something, and you had this annoyed expression on your face, standing up you stared down at them and then yelled "Thats it!! Into the water you go!!" Before lifting your kid up and chucking them into the water "Yeetus da fetus!!"
(If Jake was there, you'd turn to him with a smile and just say "abortion!", and he would try his hardest not to luagh)
If you where to get drunk or high as balls, he would probably have to keep you at arms reach at all times. Or you'd just go do something stupid again,
He loves you dearly, but your gonna be the end of him, he saw you hanging upside-down on your Ikran in mid air, you where just chillin' meanwhile he was absolutely losing his shit.
You'd totally be the type to stare at his ass or tittys. And probably say something in English so he wouldn't understand what you had just said, "damn those are some big ol' tittys"
"What?"
"Nothing-"
Apocalypse
This is what the elderly people called the approaching age of the earth. Only those with memories of what life was like 100 years ago can agree with the idea.
Forests were cleared and replaced with concrete and metal buildings. The oxygen of the atmosphere was contaminated with carbon dioxide. People going about their day to day became more isolated in their own lives and what was known as mere courtesy to others was lost.
But it wasn't all bad. Science, technology and medicine made unimaginable discoveries that in the past would only be dreams.
This is how in the XXII century, genetic problems were nothing more than a simple matter of paying enough to fix the problem. Physical defects and most of the mental ones were easy to cure. But what happened when they were twins? After the year 2098, when the world declared itself over populated, a new law was declared where women had the right to give birth only once, the number of children that appeared at birth was irrelevant. For people of higher status it was no problem. They only had to choose to keep only one child or easily pay the economic expense of both. But for those without the resources, having twins was like a curse.
That was how Eli and Jonathan Thompson came to the orphanage. A careless mother with no desire to bear the responsibility of two lives left them at the door of an orphanage.
Luckily for the babies, orphanages are under the protection of governments. Their education is paid for and supervised by capable people. But the coexistence between the children is not the best. Fights that lead to loosening teeth are quite common since caregivers only choose to have a job that gives them money, not out of interest in the well-being of minors.
Eli, the older of the twins, grew up defending his younger brother. He wasn't afraid of having to break noses if someone messed with his family. As for his brother, Jonathan, he was a sweet soul, his strength was in his intelligence and his heart in science books. It was normal for the two of them to spend the afternoon together away from the others. While Jonathan reads aloud, Eli pays attention to whatever his brother says. Even though he often finds it hard to understand what he says. He even had to get a dictionary to understand the complex words in the books that his little brother loved.
Growing up was not a problem with the dynamics they had. It was like this, when leaving school, the 13-year-old brothers hit the road to the park to have their precious free time before returning to the orphanage full of children with testosterone to the maximum and desires to hit something to de-stress.
What they did not know was that that same day they would meet 2 other people. Thomas and Jacob Sully.
Another set of twins.
From the first sight, the 4 children were intrigued to meet the opposites. It was normal, twins were not common in a society as strange as the one they live in.
But what was unusual, was seeing how the children found a balance between themselves.
The oldest Sully, a kind-hearted and highly intelligent boy, instantly hit it off with Jonathan's desire for adventure and knowledge attitude. While the youngest of the Sullys, Jacob, found it amusing to have to face the older bother Eli in whatever they can think of. Sports, wrestling, food races, etc. In short, growing up was... interesting.
Difficult, without a doubt, but very interesting. The Sullys changed school to be with their new friends. It was easier that way.
Upon reaching 17, Eli and Jake made the decision to join the military and the other 2 brothers were going to fulfill their dreams by studying at the university in the RDA with the hope of entering the program that would take them to Pandora.
But not everything was going to go so well. Jake was discharged from the military due to a spinal injury that left him paralyzed, Eli opted to leave when there was a problem in one of his missions, which ended with a chest wound and returning with fewer people than they had gone. Jonathan was diagnosed with cancer, one of the few diseases that not even science has been able to cure, but he ended up giving his life in an attempt to save his best friend Thomas. But the result ended in the death of both and his twin brothers having to take their jobs as avatar drivers. Jonathan couldn't even break the news of his brother that he had cancer.
It was like this, that in the year 2149 both soldiers were put in a cryo-sleep with the purpose of taking them to Pandora. The most hostile planet known to man.
After almost 6 years of traveling in space at high speed, finally the ship that the soldiers got on began to slow down.
The scientists in charge of the voyages woke up all the passengers who had been put into a cryo-sleep to save resources and energy during the trip.
One by one, the passengers opened their eyes inside their pods. Two of them in particular are somewhat disoriented by the process. They had only been given a week of preparation to learn things about the journey that usually takes years for others. It was obvious that much of the information had not been given due to time constraints, but the essentials had been learned, and that was what mattered.
Eli blinked a couple of times to dispel that feeling of hangover and exhaustion that he still felt. Having to wake up from a long sleep in zero gravity was not pleasant at all.
Row by row, the pods opened automatically, allowing doctors to check each other's vital signs before unfastening the belts that prevent their bodies from floating out.
"Are we there yet?" Jake asked, still a little confused.
"Yeah, we’re there, sunshine." Answered the doctor who was checking his vital signs. He could tell that he was a little dizzy, but other than that there was nothing out of the ordinary. "Be careful in zero gravity." The man told him as he unbuttoned and continued with the next passenger.
Things were moving fast, they had to overflow everyone in the estimated time. The number of trips in and out of the atmosphere were counted.
"Jake" The soldier who had floated to the lockers turned around seeing his best friend floating in his direction.
He put a smile on his face when he saw Eli's appearance. "Wow. Who kicked you in the balls?" he teased him.
Eli rolled his eyes and huffed. Five years, nine months and two days frozen in capsules and that was the first thing he told him. "Yeah well, it's not like you look better. Have you seen yourself in a mirror?" replied the friend.
Hours and many protocol processes later, both soldiers boarded a large ship with turbines strong enough to go in and out of Pandora's atmosphere.
Their cryo-sleep clothes had been exchanged for simple T-shirts and army pants. Despite not having exercised for a year before the trip, the habit of wearing other clothing was not comfortable for them. They felt better using military clothes.
And as cherry on the cake, now they had to wear some masks that would help them breathe in the atmosphere of Pandora.
Speaking of...
"Exo-packs on! Let’s go! Exo-packs on! Remember, people, you lose that mask, you’re unconscious in 20 seconds, you’re dead in four minutes! Let’s nobody be dead today! Looks very bad on my report." Shouted the official soldier in charge of those who were on the trip. It should be noted that his attitude was so sweet.
Everyone present put on their masks and closed the seals to prevent Pandora's toxic air from leaking through cracks in the mask.
The rattling of the ship was enough of an indicator that they had finally landed. Just seconds later, they all unbuckled their seatbelts and lined up to exit the plane. All except two soldiers.
"What do you think our welcome will be like? Will they have cakes?" Eli said sarcastically as he waited for Jake to pack up to go out. At first Eli helped his friend to do many things after the accident with his legs, but he learned that it was unnecessary. His friend was capable and also he became a curmudgeon when he wanted to help him.
Jake let out a laugh as he sat in his chair and buckled up. "There's only one way to find out."
Eli made a face that he was right. He grabbed his backpack and walked after Jake when they were finally ready.
"Let’s go, special cases, don’t make me wait for you!" the soldier shouted again with an attitude of sweetness.
When leaving, to say that they were impressed by the view was an understatement. Despite the fact that there is a lot of concrete and that it is a cloudy day, there is more natural light than on a normal day on earth. And the trees were so huge that their tops could be seen even over the great concrete walls put up by the RDA.
They were both so in awe of the sight that they had to abruptly move out of the way of a guy in a huge robotic suit that nearly crushed them.
"Careful airheads" Said the offended the soldier inside the suit. But neither of them gave it much thought. A lap dog attitude was common to be found among soldiers. It was a bad way of trying to show superiority.
They barely walked a few more meters when they had to stop again. A bulldozer of out-of-scale passed in front of them, arrows stuck to its wide tires.
Jake and Eli exchanged glances. Confused by what they had just seen. It was obvious someone wasn't happy with the machine, but those things were huge. An arrow seemed to be the size of a person.
The rest of his walk to the barracks was not interrupted by anything else. Upon entering it was the same type of technology found on Earth, only everything looked more scientific.
Finally, after getting lost a few times, the soldiers reached the conference room where the welcoming speech had already started.
"Out there, beyond that fence. Every living thing that crawls, flies or squats in the mud wants to kill you and eat your eyes for jujubes."
'What a good start,' Eli thought as he entered the room and caught part of the speech of the one who hi has been instructed that his name was Quaritch. General Quaritch.
Since the room was full, Eli sat in one of the pews closest to the exit door, with Jake stopping next to him.
"We have an indigenous population of humanoids called na'vi..."
Eli leaned into Jake and whispered. "There's nothing like an old-school safety brief to put your mind at ease." The sarcastic tone was evident in every word.
Jake rolled his eyes and smiled at the reference to the general's less than comforting speech.
After the general's charming speech, both friends left the conference room to continue their way to their rooms. Taking advantage of the time to make some stops and familiarize themselves with the place. They didn't want to end up lost later, it would be embarrassing. Better now and not later.
"Jake. Eli" The attention of the two soldiers was brought to a tall guy who made his way a little clumsily through the people in the hallway, only to seemingly reach them.
"You are Jonathan and Thomas's brothers, right?" Norm asked as he finally reached them. Noticing their confused expressions, he held out his hand to shake him in greeting as he introduced himself. "I'm Norm Spellman."
"You were a companion of our brothers, weren't you?" Eli asked, recognizing the name that was mentioned on more than one occasion during the calls they had. He shook his hand, clearly noting the soft scientific hands.
"Yes yes. Have you heard from me?" He ask with a clear slight nervousness when talking to people who are not scientists. "I hope only good things."
Eli gave him a sly smile before turning and continuing to walk alongside Jake. "Don't worry. He just told us that you vomited the first time you entered a simulation."
Norm stood still in the middle of the corridor, opening and closing his mouth in a vain attempt to defend himself, but the laughter of the soldiers only made it more difficult.
“...into the bio lab." Announced Norm entering through the automatic doors of the place.
Taking advantage of the fact that the soldiers did not know the place, he took the opportunity to give them a tour and maybe be lucky enough to become friends. They will spend the next 6 years together so it was the best choice for him.
"Uh, link… here’s the link room-"
Norm's words faded into the background as the soldiers headed another way. A blue light practically hypnotized them and called them like kites to a spotlight. What intrigued them was not the light, but where it came from.
The huge glass containers that had just been unloaded from the ships were finally ready to be removed from their enormous packaging and connected to the laboratory instruments.
"Hey, welcome." One of the scientists present spoke when he saw us arrive.
He shook hands with Jake who was closer. "Welcome to Pandora. Good to have you"
"Damn. They got big." Jake said in surprise when he saw the bodies inside its capsule. The avatars.
Genetically engineered bodies based on human DNA and the DNA of the natives of the planet.
"Yeah, they fully mature on the flight out." Norm said, just as impressed by what science is capable of. But his surprise didn't take a second to turn into scientific fascination and bring out his brainiac side. "So the proprioceptive sims seem to work really well?"
"Yes, they’ve got great muscle tone."
The soldiers exchanged poker glances seeing how quickly they were forgotten for the sake of science.
With a slight nod, Jake motioned for Eli to follow him to the avatars on the other side of the room.
The closest one was Jake's.
"It has the characteristics of a feline." Eli mentioned as he approached the tank. He turn to look at Jake when he gets no response, just silence.
The younger Sully was in a trance, and Eli knew why. The avatar had the face of his brother. It wasn't strange since they used his DNA to create it, but it wasn't the same for twins. After spending your whole life living with someone who shares your characteristics, you find those little differences that make them unique. But what makes the situation even more strange is finding those features on the face of an alien.
"Looks like him." Jake whispered. He almost seemed to fear that if he raised his tone he might awaken the sleeping creature in its amniotic fluid.
Eli put his hand on his friend's shoulder and gave it a firm squeeze. It was a silent sign that he was not alone.
"Umm. Which one of you is Eli Thompson?"
Both soldiers turned around to meet the scientists. Max, according to the name tag on his robe, looked strangely nervous.
"It's me." Eli answered, raising an eyebrow.
"There is something you should know about your avatar." Max said, slightly lifting the tablet in his hand. "Please follow me"
A bit wary, Eli glanced over his shoulder at Jake. But the uncertainty in his gaze was enough of an answer to know that he didn't know anything either.
Without further ado, he followed the scientist into a glass-walled office that gave him a full view of the lab and avatar tanks.
"What's going on Norm?" Asked the man in the wheelchair to the scientist who looked somewhat insecure in his place.
"They had some problems with Jony's avatar when it came to DNA matching." When mentioning the being, they both turned around to see on the other side of the laboratory how they removed the protective packaging from the last tank of avatars, exposing the aforementioned avatar.
It looked normal. Giant and blue just like the others, with a tail and pointy ears, but nothing different or out of place.
What could be the problem?
“That Jonathan what?" Eli asked. Trying to process the information that is on the tablet and what he had just been told.
"Judging by your reaction…I guess he didn't tell you about his illness." Max said with a sad expression on his face. It didn't seem fair that the soldier found out that his brother had cancer that way. It could have been almost 6 years since his death, but for the one who just came out of the cryo-sleep, to him it is still a few days ago. It hasn't even been a month in the perspective of the soldier.
The silence in the room was thick. Eli still couldn't form a word, he felt trapped in a loop despite hearing how the others kept up with their own rhythm outside that office.
He took a breath of air to remove from his thoughts the gloomy thoughts that overshadowed his ideas and focused on what he had to do. He took the glass tablet and checked the information of his ( in all word extension) avatar.
"So…the avatar has my DNA." Although it was a question, his accent made it sound like a statement. But his gaze didn't take off from the graphics on the object in his hands.
"They were about to remove your brother from the program when they noticed his illness." Max began to telling, his tone almost unsure to follow. The expression on the soldier's face was incredibly serious. "They couldn't use cancer cells to create an avatar. But he gave a sample with your disease-free DNA and appealed to the elders to let him continue." Finally, Eli looked up to see the same empathetic expression on the scientist's face. "His cancer was stage 2 so they would let him stay on the project if he took his meds and got his chemotherapy but..."
Max didn't even have to continue anymore. The idea was clear.
The black-suited socks who came to tell him that his brother was dead were very tactful when telling him.
They needed him for work because the avatar was already completed and they couldn't waste the money invested. The avatar meant that his brother had accepted the deal, but had not even received a dose of medicine before his heart was pierced with lead.
When Max started to feel the silence getting a bit uncomfortable he decided to give him a moment alone. "If you need anything, I'll be outside." He turned to leave the office, but two steps later he was called.
"That won't be necessary. Let's get done with what needs to be done for today. Allow time for pity later" Eli said. He hand over the tablet, shoving it into the scientist's chest as he walk towards the door.
Max winced, both from the blow and from the man's heavy words. "O-Okay."
With nothing else to say, they headed off to continue the tour. The most important part was still missing.
Laboratory Embarrassment
Non MLM/NBLM DNI
Pairings- Jake Sully x Male! Na'vi! Reader
Summary- Jake realizes the whole lab might know when he and his boyfriend get intimate
Word Count- 423
Content Warnings- None
Despite how cramped your tall body is in this room, you can't help but be excited.
Since you met Jake, you've been interested in all the interesting things going on in the lab. It's unlike anything you've ever seen before, how could you not be interested?
The second you expressed interest in seeing what it was like for Jake in his little chamber, he offered for you to come see. You don't really understand anything that you're seeing, but it certainly is an intriguing sight. The small monitor in front of you tracks Jake's heart rate, going up and down at a steady pace.
Once Jake emerges from the little bed, you're immediately asking questions. “Jake, my love?” Jake laughs a bit at how cramped you are as he looks up at you. “Yes?” “That thing shows your heartbeat, correct?” Jake nods as he gets himself situated in his wheelchair. “Yeah, it does. Along with a bunch of other shit I don't understand.” Jake laughs. You can feel your face getting hot as you look down at him. “So when we are intimate, they can tell?”
Jake's face turns bright red as he wheels himself further into the lab. “I'll ask Norm about it.” Jake immediately turns around to your horrified face once he realizes what he said. “I won't tell him about us, don't worry!” You nod slowly as you make your way through the lab with Jake. Scientists wave politely at the two of you as you make your way to where Norm is sitting.
“Hey guys, what's up?” He asks, swirling around in his chair to face the two of you. Jake rubs the back of his neck nervously as he smiles at him. “Oh, I just had a question about one of the monitors.” Norm nods, clearly excited to talk about anything related to the lab. “So, I was wondering. When I like running fast and my heart beat gets super fast or something, can you see that?” Norm gives an obvious nod. “Yeah! That thing is monitoring your heartbeat at all times so we can always see what you're doing.”
You and Jake's faces get hot as you try not to look at eachother. Norm turns back around as he continues his work. “Your heartbeat has been high alot lately, exploring the forest I'm assuming?” Jake gives a nervous laugh as he begins backing away. “Yeah, I've been exploring a lot! See ya later Norm!”
You two are silent as you make your way back to Jake's pod.
