Shiva meaning “The Auspicious One” is one of the three major deities of Hinduism. He is worshiped as the Supreme God within Shaivism, one of the three most influential denominations in contemporary Hinduism and is also called “the Creator, the Preserver, the Transformer and the Destroyer”.

At the highest level, Shiva is regarded as formless, limitless, transcendent, and unchanging.

Shiva has many benevolent and fearsome depictions.

In benevolent aspects, he is depicted as an omniscient Yogi who lives an ascetic life on Mount Kailash, as well as a householder with wife Parvati and his two children, Ganesha and Kartikeya.

In his fierce aspects, he is often depicted slaying demons.

Shiva is also regarded as the patron god of yoga,meditation, and arts. Shiva is known by several names – Mahadeva, Pashupati, Bhairava, Vishwanath, Bhole Nath, Shambhu and Shankar. Shiva is the cosmic dancer and also known as Nataraja, the Lord of Dancers. Hindus recognize Lord Shiva by putting His shrine in the temple separate from those of other deities in the form of Shivling.

Shiva Mantra essentially helps in eliminating enemies from the path and hence it is also called the Raktha Kavach Mantra. Chanting of Shiva mantra on Chaturdashi is considered very effective and auspicious. Regular chanting of Shiva mantra attracts success and prosperity in all walks of life.

Chanting of Shiva Mantras is a centuries old technique for attaining inner peace and bliss.The Mantras address to Tryambaka, “the three-eyed one”, an epithet of Rudra who was later identified with Shiva. They are said to create divine vibrations which help connecting one to pure consciousness and also remove the fear of death and other negative thoughts from the heart.

There are many types of Shiva Mantras; each serving it’s own purpose.

Shiva Panchakshari Mantra

Panchakshari means having five syllables. Five is a sacred number for Shiva. One of His most important mantras is – Om Namah Shivaya, otherwise called the Shiva Moola Mantra has five syllables.

ॐ नमः शिवाय । Om Namah Shivaya |

Meaning : ‘I bow to Shiva. Shiva is the supreme reality, the inner Self. It is the name given to consciousness that dwells in all.’

Benefit : Proper recitation of this Mantra rejuvenates and bestows one with health, wealth, long life, peace, prosperity and contentment.

Rudra Mantra This is known as Rudra mantra. Rudra Mantra is recited to get blessing of Lord Shiva. It is considered effective for the fulfilment of one’s wishes.

ॐ नमो भगवते रूद्राय । Om Namo Bhagwate Rudraay | Shiva Gayatri Mantra

ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महादेवाय धीमहि तन्नो रुद्रः प्रचोदयात । Om Tatpurushaay Vidmahe Vidmahe Mahadevaay Deemahi Tanno Rudrah Prachodayat |

Meaning : ‘Om, Let me meditate on the great Purusha, Oh, greatest God, give me higher intellect, and let God Rudra illuminate my mind.’

Benefit : One can recite thi Shiva Mantra with utmost sincerity to discover the happiness and divinity that′s already within.

Shiv Dhyan Mantra

करचरणकृतं वाक् कायजं कर्मजं वा श्रवणनयनजं वा मानसंवापराधं । विहितं विहितं वा सर्व मेतत् क्षमस्व जय जय करुणाब्धे श्री महादेव शम्भो ॥ Karcharankritam Vaa Kaayjam Karmjam Vaa Shravannayanjam Vaa Maansam Vaa Paradham | Vihitam Vihitam Vaa Sarv Metat Kshamasva Jay Jay Karunaabdhe Shree Mahadev Shambho ||

Meaning : Ode to the Supreme One to cleanse the body, mind and soul of all the stress, rejection, failure, depression and other negative forces that one faces.

Benefit : Divine vibrations that are generated during the chanting of this mantra ward off all the negative and evil forces and create a powerful protective shield against diseases, sorrows, fears etc.

Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात् “Om Tryambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushti-Vardhanam Urvarukamiva Bandhanan Mrityormukshiya Mamritat॥”

Meaning : ‘We worship the Three-eyed Lord who is fragrant and who nourishes and nurtures all beings. As is the ripened cucumber is freed from its bondage, may He liberate us from death for the sake of immortality.’

Benefit : This mantra is addressed to Lord Shiva for warding off untimely death. It is also chanted while smearing Vibhuti over various parts of the body and utilized in Japa or Homa to get desired results.

Everything that Tate baba says is a sign of a "High value man" happens to have feminine symbolism in your culture you ignorant child. Knowledge, Wealth and Power. high value men things right? Sorry to break it to you. Here in India, Knowledge is Ma Saraswati, Wealth & Prosperity is Ma Lakshmi and Power is Literally Adi Shakti Ma Parvati.

Let me clarify more for you. First of all, there is no complete masculine man or feminine woman. Everyone has varying rates of masculinity and femininity within them. What do these terms even mean. Well in easy words, the way masculine traits could be described from indic lens cpuld be with the imagery of a mountain; strong, reliable, changes are slow almost unseen, protective (hailing to how himalayas protect us from the blizzards) while feminine imagery could be that of a river- always moving, unstoppable in its path, destructive rage but also equally nurturing, unpredictable, frequent change, adaptable etc.

These are some traits that can be associated with the terms. Now if your neurons haven't picked up yet, these traits aren't exclusive for a male or a female respectively. Men can have the qualities of adaptability, can be nurturing too. Women can be rigid, strong and reliable. These traits can be found in any gender. So for the "women ☕️" meme fans you also have feminine traits within you- to suppress emotions is actually a feminine trait much more than it is "masculine"- Shri Rama cried his heart out when he lost Ma Sita. Bhagwaan Shiva carried devi satis burnt body in his arms for many many eons, screaming in distress. Krishna adorned himself with vaijyanti flower garlands, peacock feathers while simultaneously holding sudarshan which is capable of destroying the three worlds at his command. I don't understand how Tate Baba's words appear enlightening to you when it is so contradictory to your culture which you claim to be the flag bearer of? Sit down. You know nothing Jon snow.

Without Shakti, even Shiva ji is powerless. However without bhagwaan Shiva- shakti still holds her powers but without any direction. Divine masculine becomes the channel for the divine Feminine. Without devi lakshmi, even Vaikuntha remains in gloom. The world is born, run and destroyed by the feminine traits.

The Masculine is the anchor, the Feminine is the power. Without Shiv ji, Ma Kali's rage would be unrestrained, directionless- he roots her but he neither commands nor controls her. Her capability is not reliant on anyone but herself- only the effects of her shakti can be and are supposed to be managed by her counterpart.

Shri Rama couldn't command Ma Sita into staying back at Ayodhya, he couldn't control her from going back to Prithvi Ma when she felt disrespected by her own subjects and made a decision for herself. He did not try to restrain her independent expressions. Meanwhile Ma Sita remained with Shri Ram throughout. In his exile he had no wealth, no power (army power is what I mean). But the lack of neither made him "low value man"- and Ma Sita did not care.

I am frustrated and tired. I will end it here because if you didn't get it this far- sorry buddy you are a little too far gone, I can only pray that Ma Saraswati knock some sense into you.

A beautiful story of Mahashivratri Vrat🙏 According to legend, a Bhil hunter named Gurudruh lived with his family in the dense forest of Varanasi. One day Gurudruh went out for hunting but he did not get a single prey. After waiting for a long time, he climbed a vine tree while searching for prey in the forest. A Shivling was established under that tree. After some time a wandering deer came there. As soon as Gurudruha saw the deer, he drew his bow and arrow. But before the arrow hit the deer, the water kept near it and the belt leaves from the tree fell on the Shivling. In such a situation, the Gurudruh unknowingly worshiped the first hour of Shivratri. When the deer saw it, she told the hunter that my kids were waiting with my sister.I leave them at a safe place and come again. After some time Hirani's sister passed by and at that time also Gurudruha unknowingly worshiped Mahadev in the same way for the second time. Hirni's sister also made the same cry and promised to come back. Searching for both the deer, the deer reached there in the third hour. This time such an incident happened and the hunter unknowingly worshiped the third hour of Shivratri. The deer also promised to come after some time while crying for the children. After three hours passed, all the three deer returned to the hunter as promised. But in the meantime, while plucking the belpatra from the tree in hunger, he started putting it on the Shivling below and in this way the worship of the fourth hour was also done. All the sins of the Gurudruh were washed away by being hungry and thirsty all the time and worshiping God unknowingly. Then Lord Shiva blessed him by giving a direct darshan that in Tretayug, Shri Ram, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, would visit his house and he would attain salvation. In this way, Lord Shankar granted salvation to the hunter by observing Shivratri fast unknowingly.
