I wasn’t tagged but @revantherevenant mentioned me in his post so now I kinda want to do it too.

1. Your first OC?

I don’t remember her name, or the context really, but she was kinda Mary Sueish. Wait, now that I think about it, I think she actually was a FC for... Police Academy, of all things. Shut up, it was the 90′s and I was young and dumb. >_>

2. Do you have a personal favorite among your OCs?

Takara is my wild child, my trash daughter of trash, and I will fight anyone who dares badmouthing her.

3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?

Sometimes @parrott-head‘s Xanda and @revantherevenant‘s Yukio both come into my head to hang with Lowell, and they raise Hell. Disney songs are (often) involved. Does it count? 4. A character you rarely talk about?

Most of the ones that are not named Takara. 5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/well known, which one would it be?

Takara. All aboard the badass demisexual Asian train, you mofos! 6. What are two OCs of yours who look alike despite not being related?

Huh... Frida and Kalle are both kinda tall blue-eyed blondes, but they’re from different stories and universes.

7. Would you ever be willing to give away/sell any of your OCs?

Never. 8. An OC of yours with a complicated design?

... does Takara knee-length braid counts as complicated design? I don’t actually think I have any complicated character designs.

Zreti too! And Natalie, Kalle’s unwanted drinking buddy/rival (I think it was Natalie anyway). @yllamse‘s Jayce. And Siggy, Lavinia’s forever drinking buddy/partner-in-crime/second-in-command. Björn Raganhar THRIVES on troublemaking, I tell you. I’m pretty sure Wulfric had to bail him out of jail (and Corbin, and T.D., because Björn is a bad influence) so many times. 12. Name an OC of yours with a tragic backstory.

Often. I never shut up about them to certain people. 14. Which of your OCs would be best at biology in school?

Lots do. Not always well. Looking at you, Lavinia... 18. Which of your OCs is the most artistic?

Takara. You should see some of the crazy-awesome styles she comes up with for her hair. Also, her violin playing. 19. Is there an OC of yours that people tend to mischaracterize?

Oh, I am sure they will. But none, yet. The closest I���ve come to encountering a mischaracterisation of one of my OCs is people drawing Takara with boobs, loooooool.

20. Introduce an OC that has changed from your first concept work.

Kalle used to be a waifish red-haired boy named Max. He kept the personality, but became a blond-haired, blue-eyed giant instead.

21. If you could meet any one of your OCs, which one would it be?

LOWELL!

22. Which OC is most like you?

Kalle. Not in the sense that I am a monstrously tall knight. I’m talking the whole cat-loving, night owl, insecure, does not like to be touched and lives on for sarcasm thing. 23. Have you ever had to change an OC’s design or personality against your will?

Nope. 24. Any OCs inspired by a certain song?

No again. 25. Which OC is the most dangerous?

Probably a tie between Takara and Kalle, actually. Runner up would be Lowell, because you never suspect the quiet ones. Lavinia with her “burn everything” angry moments come in third place.

26. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone where they’re going?

Katarine. 27. Which one of your OCs is most likely to have a secret stuffed animal collection?

I would have said Takara, but her collection is hardly secret. I’d have to be someone where it’d be completely hilarious if it was discovered.

I’m guessing Leander. 28. Which one of your OCs would make the best horror movie protagonist?

Noooo idea. I don’t really watch enough horror movies to find a good match.

29. Which one of your OCs is the shyest?

Wulfric. 30. Are any of your characters related to each other?

I don’t have family trees for my OCs, I have entire forests with intertwining branches everywhere. 31. Do you have an OC who has a relative or friend played by someone else?

Delano. Oldest of 7 dragon-hybrid siblings. 4 of them are Yllamse’s characters, 1 is Jenna’s, and 1 is Jenn’s. 32. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer?

Darianne. She’s a pretty, pretty princess with pretty, pretty hair. It comes into a package deal.

33. Do you have any certain type you favor when you create your OCs?

DEADPAN SNARKERS, HOLY FUCK! WHY DO I HAVE SO MANY OF THEM?

34. What’s something you like about your OCs in general?

They’re diverse (despite the Deadpan Snarker thing being fairly common). 35. What’s a character you no longer use?

The Mary Sue Police Academy one. Even my old Sailor Moon FCs still kinda exist.

another year, another oc redesign i can’t be assed to finish

i realized halfway through drawing this it wouldn’t make sense out of context but here we are

context: they are immortals who can... well, die, but they’ll just come back. except they come back (in a flash of light) at whatever age they were when they FIRST died, no matter how much they’ve aged since. so if something happens (such as if mak fucks up a spell and blows himself and jadwen up) they always revert to, in the case of these two... seventeen and twelve. this can get annoying. especially if you’ve been building up muscle for twenty years and now have to start over...

(also, mak is the older of the two by far)
