I'm like the troll on bridge connecting EAH , MH , and Descendants lore. I'm not a master of any of it, but I can definitely write an essay on each of the movies and specials. As well as which movies are better from each.

ENFJ: INFP, what kind of skills do you have?
INFP: Lots! I can do many things!
ENFJ: Then, what skills have you mastered?
INFP: Uh, about that...

Constantly tormented by all the story ideas I'll never write because I lack the skill? Talent? Ability to concentrate? Whatever it is it hurts.
Some of these have been living in my head for fifteen years now and yet I can't achieve as much as a drabble.
The muses are cruel sometimes.

Over the years, I've learned so much about many different trades and crafts, yet sometimes I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. Like, I've learned about this before, I should be able to do this, but can't. Truely a jack of all trades.

It's easy to think that in a magical world, you'd be more driven to master the art and whatnot because it's cool, but in such worlds, magic is such a normal thing that it's probably just another subject in school. Most people have no desire to master anything in school, simply to either do well in every subject or just to pass.
But it also brings up the idea that, just like anything, you wouldn't necessarily be able to be good at magic through sheer willpower alone. Just like how some people are good at math while others are amazing at sports, the same logic would probably govern magic.

Note to Self: maybe, instead of prepping a crap ton of bracelets with crimp closures and not having any for the other side when the bracelets are finished, you can set aside a second crimp so that you can actually finish bracelets and have a sense of accomplishment

I hang in the dark waiting for you to come home and give me purpose. Your clothes look tattered, i sew them straight and wash the blood away, no matter if mine are stained permanently. You're ravenous, i scurry to the fluorescent kitchen, feet tripping on the threshold and neck fitting on the blunt side of the knife. You bang your hands on the table, you sent the cutlery flying, I set the table shakily. I am the meat that i carve to feed you, I am your bottle of rum and the tablecloth you tear off and mindlessly chew. You drag me to your bed to cry about your fruitless work and that i should start work tomorrow, you won't succeed if I don't. You promise me safety and a bright life just as a child promises the teddy. I slip out in the night, I can't leave, I am the keeper with no keys jingling on my belt. I mop the floors and dump the alcohol and scrub the evidence of the night and switch the lights off. I hang myself in the same darkness waiting for you to awake, to give me a purpose.

The series notes that Evandra has been in love before and was thrown out by her father for not marrying a nobleman's son.
This girl has literally been on her own for years. Out of the group, she probably has the most skills in basic survivial and hunting.
She also has a small drinking problem during stressful situations.

You! Internalize that you do not always need to "improve your art/craft" now! It's great to learn and develop your skills, but you do not need to come from a place of hating where you are now! You certainly do not need to force yourself to improve if it is coming in between you and enjoying the things you do. Improvement for improvements sake does not have to be the only goal, nor the only one that "should matter"
You are allowed to have motifs, enjoyment, ameturism, and "less skill." Kill and devour the capitalist in your head that dictates that you must always improve for everybody else's sake and your "productivity."

Something I love about Leo is that, canonically, he IS capable of cooking, he’s just completely incapable of using a toaster. He’s banned from the kitchen not out of an inability to make edible food, but because being within six feet of a toaster causes the poor appliance to spontaneously combust.

horror being very specific with table manners and he berates people (dust and killer) for eating like fucking pigs
i think it'd be morbidly funny that because there was no food in horrortale but the cutlery and stuff was all there that maybe he would pretend to eat with no food on the plate. it was in a satirical way that he would joke maybe around horror paps or alone where he would pretend to eat and have really good table manners but then the satire joke became REAL and now horror is incredibly specific about how to eat food
you MUST hold the fork in the left and knife in right says horror. no killer you can't duel wield the fucking knives this is a table not a slaughterhouse. dust pick up your elbows off the table. actually how about you get your entire upper body off the table tf why are you SLEEPING ON THE FOOD??? killer's sitting fetal position in the chair because of course he wouldn't sit normally like the idiot he is. dust is forced to put his hood down and reveal his face no more mysterious shadow style because it puts horror at ease. they cannot have a single peaceful meal because once they get past the table manners phase it then becomes a completion to see who can eat the least (because they suck at everything including eating)
