"I didn't ask-!" Amelia shouted over the gunfire that was pelted toward the two. Hiding behind a car that was situated upon the now deserted street. Her gun in one hand as she reloaded, hazel eyes not even looking to the man beside her. She shot again, gently squeezing the trigger so her hand didn't shake, taking one of them out with a bullet to the shoulder. The intent wasn't the kill. "-for you to come along!" She finished her sentence.

Now Amelia was a good detective, her reputation preceded her just as her father's did. Consulting Detective, and also a very good agent alongside her uncle's division within MI6. Everyone knew Mycroft Holmes was practically the British Government. The young Holmes was stubborn, fiery and sometimes a little rude, yet the rudeness was made up for in intelligence. Small tattoos were etched upon her arms, the small scars across them also evident.

"Look, you can tell my uncle I can handle this myself. I don't need a bodyguard, and I certainly don't need an assistant" Pride. That was what it was. Although Mycroft was only looking out for his niece since the incident with James Moriarty and Sebastian Moran, the small slip up on their part where the daughter of probably the most famous detective had been taken, and virtually left for dead over top secret information. It was guilt that now kept Mycroft a constant eye on the brunette. "Now piss off and leave me alone, alright?"

She'd been to these type of things before; new age conventions and festivals. They were great for making some extra money, and people who came to these things loved a fortune teller. Palmistry, tarot, crystal ball; they were always eager to pay for a little glimpse into their future.

And Lilia had to admit that she did enjoy being among other people who had their own mystical shops; even if they weren't witches, nothing more than new age wiccans or the like, it still felt like being part of a community again. Something of a coven. Or maybe she was just fooling herself.

Lilia had just stepped outside for a little break, glancing around at the other stalls and tents when she felt the presence of the owner of the next stall beside her-- magical antiques by the look of it (that was asking for trouble)-- and as she looked at her, Lilia felt something...odd. Different. It was in the girl's blood, but she could alo see a life, experiences, going as far back as her own youth.

Lilia blinked, pulling herself out of the almost-trance of what she could see.

"You have divinity in you," she said matter-of-factly before she could stop herself.

She leaned close, turning her own chin up to meet his dropped gaze, as if moved by the same hand, "That's your first mistake, 'astair." "Are you trying to scare me, honey," the wizard trilled as he walked around her. "I'm not jealous of your powers, I am in awe of them." He may have used his status to get power, but he had genuine affection for the young necromancer.

Aisling leaned into his hand in an automatic response. Piercing eyes upon his own with a soft gaze and a smile to match. She meant every word, he was hers and she loved him dearly. Yes, they were husband and wife but most of the time it didn't mean anything. Aisling placed her hand on top of his, even as he nuzzled her neck affectionately she couldn't help but laugh a little.

"I know.. I know..." She whispered, "I love you, and I mean that" She commented. Although being the sister of Robin Hood was difficult these days with her older brother being an outlaw, and having to seem neutral on the stance between Prince John, it became ever more difficult. Right now Aisling was glad that she had stability with Guy, it allowed her to ground herself.

She gave the other a rueful little smile. "I withstand it because I must." And because she loved him, although it was sometimes hard to say the words, especially to him. "Diane has his heart, but I am his queen and the mother of his heirs. I try to take comfort in that, although it is not always enough." There were the others who had spent time in Henri's bed, too, but none of them ever had the same hold on him that Diane did. That made Catherine resent them less.

Elora looked upward, ocean hues never removing from his own. The way his bangs fell in front of his face, seeing an almost mischievous glint in his eyes. It made her smile lightly, before turning into a bright smile as lips placed upon the palm of her head. "Now, that would certainly be telling wouldn't it, my lord?" He wanted to tease, well, she would certainly tease back.

The thoughts that ran through her head were a mixture of things. Both scandalous and also happy ones. How he made her laugh, how she could be herself yet how he also stirred a feeling that she had never felt before. It was lust, it was sinful and it was most of all distracting. Elora couldn't have distractions, not while doing her best to learn from Arthur and the knights. Truth be told, he was intoxicating and at times it made it hard for her to simply breathe.

A shuddering breath was taken as Elyssa stepped forward, her hands raising to cup the other's face in a loving manner, "You are to be Queen, Relta." Elyssa answered softly, crystal blues looking into the other woman's gaze "Surely you understand; I am of not the same class as you. It would be considered wrong in the eyes of the King, would it not?" Her head tilts though a gentle smile appears upon her features "You are my best friend, that is not something I wish to see become destroyed."
