I hate it when I headcanon a character who’s canonically a girl as a trans man and make ships of him and a character who’s canonically a guy and I refer to it as a gay/mlm/guyxguy/whatever ship and someone gets mad. Like omg let trans people have FUNNNNN. Why are queer headcanons and genderbends cool until they’re saying that the character is trans???

and like half of the characters in the franchise are women, and a total of… NONE of the characters are trans men. Also, my headcanon doesn’t change the source material. No, I don’t think that being a trans man makes you a woman or vice versa. That’s why it’s a headcanon, and the headcanon is that this character is actually a trans man and not a woman at all! You’ll never guess what pronouns most trans men had to use at some point in their lives, and you really won’t like it when you find out about pre-(or no-)transition trans men… or trans men who are in the closet… or trans men who don’t know that they’re trans yet.

I’ve seen this one from other queer people. Like did you miss when all of the homophobes said this about your identity, or do you think that bigotry is only bad when it’s directed at you?

Why would your brain even go to that first? This literally has to be a bad faith reading, because there’s no way that someone could see what I said and get this unless they were specifically looking for something to be mad at me for.

• "Brandon, brother, you stole the show" YES!

• "I'm glad that you died" Well, I'm not, thank you, next question

• Basically the first part of the interview is Brandon telling how after part 2 dropped out people started recognizing him more on the street and how that was the moment he let the reality sink in that all the comments he'd seen on the internet were actually real people.

• Brandon's dad (Master Lee) also wanted to be an actor when he was younger, omg that's cute :')

• He said that one time he went out with him and they saw a few people that seemed to want a picture with Brandon, right? And so his dad started pushing him closer to the people 😂 like "go, take the picture"

• Interesting what Xolo said about Cobra Kai having and intergenerational fandom. It's so cool if you think about it.

• Jacob dragging the people who didn't believe him during press conferences when he spoiled 6 months before part 2 came out that someone died 😂

• They start talking about the death scene and Brandon says he was trying to justify in his mind why Kwon would pick up that knife in the first place......... "Even for someone like Kwon who is the epitome of Cobra Kai no mercy to grab a knife and try to use it is pretty... insane"............🤐

• So he kind of justified it in his mind (because the producers didn't give him backstory) in a way that Kwon felt really embarrassed that he was losing during the brawl in international tv.

• He says that the final shoot where Kwon dies wasn't the original plan. Axel was actually going to be fighting Yoon and then Kwon jumps in... Sorry, I didn't understand this part very well but I think not even Brandon understands it 😅

• Brandon doesn't even know how Cobra Kai ends in part 3. He hasn't seen any of the scripts 😅 (my poor man wasn't given ANYTHING, was he?) (I know this is to prevent leaks but still, poor Brandon 😂)

• Jacob made Brandon do a speech his last day of filming in front of everybody. Oh I wish someone had made a video in that moment 🤞🏻

• About how Jacob feels about Kwon being the first on screen death: "It felt like we were all at a really awesome sleepaway camp and one of my best friends from a different cabin had to go home early" 😭😭😭

• Meanwhile Xolo: "Why couldn't it have been Axel, man?" (Jk, ofc)

• Meanwhile Jacob freaking Bertrand: "It should've been Rayna, man" (WELL, YES, IF YOU MEAN ZARA MALIK)

• SPOILER FROM PART 3 by Jacob: Daniel is going to feel like "Fuck, I didn't get there" after Kwon's death (kind of obvious but still a little spoiler)

• Jacob asked Brandon which one of the actors amazed him with their stunts during filming. He said "everyone" because they have to learn the choreography the same day or the day before and still did amazing (aw <3)

• Robby and Kwon's final kick was all stunts, no machines to help them (love this from them, hardworkers 💪🏽)

• And talking about that fight. Brandon says it wasn't suppose to be like what we saw on screen. Robby was supposed to jump off of Hawk!!!! Hawk was going to offer Robby his knee discreetly for him to jump higher than Kwon and do a finishing blow that would knock him out. But the writers just changed it the day before (wtf). Brandon says this was because they didn't want Miyagi Do to cheat in any way, they wanted them to win fair and square (whyyyy? Just why? Where are the gray zones we loved so much in the first seasons of CK?? 😭)

• TANNER ACTUALLY WENT TO BRANDON EARLIER THAT MORNING TO SEE IF THEY COULD TALK TO THE WRITERS TO GET THE ORIGINAL FIGHT BACK 😭😭 (Tanner is my pal, he knows what's up) but they still said no to them 😭

• Sigh...

• They proceeded to talk about Brandon's stunts in the Shang Chi movie (which is absolutely amazing, btw, go see it if you haven't)

SPOILERS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Libby Rhodes - I find her type characters annoying, but omg I loved her in The Atlas Paradox, and while I ind Ezra interesting, you go girl kill his ass. Also I need more of her alone, mainly using her power alone, but I want to see that from both her and Nico, while they're both physicists, I think it would be cool to see even more differences between them.

Nico de Varona - I feel so bad for my man his boyfriend is being hunted and his girlfriend got kidnapped and his bestie is having god complex issues LMAO, no seriously love him, liked him in the first book, loved him even more in the second, him AND GIDEON love it. Also nearly cried when it was said how alone my guy is, he needs family and he will look for it no matter what

Reina Mori - her god complex is so fun yet so crazy to watch unfold, while she is on the side I think her inner monologue is very interesting to read. Not my favourite character, but she and Callum are imo a great duo, need more of them. She and Parisa should just kiss and be besties.

Parisa Kamali - An icon, a legend, gave us the spiciest scenes in the book so we love her for that. Her power and character is perfect, mainly her decline and her helping my boy Nico. Didn't care for her and Dalton that much (overall I didn't care for Dalton) BUT very excited to see more of true Dalton (The prince?) in book 3

Tristan Caine - GET YOUR FUCKING DADDY ISSUES IN CHECK PLS AND THANK YOU!!!! Jk I love all my bitches equally, but him getting so close to all male figures in his life... nope, him and Atlas could make an unstoppable duo but worry not! His gf is back :) Overall Tristan was always a very hit or miss character for me, can't put a finger on why.

Callum Nova - I love him, like forreal, he is my new obsession, he is absolutely hilarious, I love his energy, the shit he causes, he is there to just do shit and I live for it!! Also made me cry, and you know I love blonde bitches that make me cry (cough cough Howl). Overall I need to read more books about Callum Nova type characters, because yes please. Also dw you don't have to hide your hairline from me I will cure your alcohol addiction <333

I'm so sorry I haven't talked in a while, N. I wanted to wait until I was in some sort of good place or heading in a good one but its not really working out that way too much. A few things have happened over the months. Though I am hoping for next year should be a bit better.

I'm so happy you had a good time in London, the Stranger Things play looked awesome and the stuff you got looks so cool. I love the bag and the plushie Demogorgon (? I'm sorry I didn't watch too much of stranger things, first season was awesome and I love Winona Ryder but Its so hard for me to get into shows lol, same with the Witcher I love it but haven't watched past the first season haha) You looked really beautiful in that black dress, and I also love your hair with the black its a nice change and twist on your usual look. I hope you kept it or have something similar because it really suits you. You tattoos too OMG they looks good, I really love the Cpt Rex ones, subtle and cute on the fingers (omg again another series I need to get back into hahaha I'm really bad with shows) the portraits look insane, although I haven't seen much of the show they are probably my favourite characters too. I just looked up the Jaig eyes and I love them so much more now, its really up my ally and something I would get done, they suit you more now. I'm looking into starting a large tattoo idea hopefully during next year. I want to get a torso tattoo from cyberpunk, the one with the snake and the ram head on the back. I want to start with the snake curling around my body then work from there. The fact that you got them done in one day is very deserving of the aussie coveted "Hard Cunt" status, on the shins and everything is insane, I'm really proud and impressed you could sit for the whole thing.

I'm happy you met someone but then also I'm sorry he kinda turned out to be only really there for one thing. Maybe things have changed by now? either way it sucks to have met someone and you think one intention and they're another. I understand the thoughts you have been having, and can relate to them too, I just want you to know I care about you and you're important to me. I know that can't take any of the bad thoughts of feelings away, as much as I would like that, I just want you to hear them and hope they can act against those thoughts in some way. Those thoughts aren't you, those thoughts aren't shaping you or the path you're going down, you are doing better ever year and I'm so proud of you for that. Being strong sucks sometimes and you know that more than a lot of people but its won't be forever I promise.

Thank you for your birthday wishes. I did have fun, even though birthdays don't really mean much to me these days lol. honestly just reminds me of time I'm wasting. But I tried to have fun and surprisingly did. Before I say what I did on my birthday day, I took my friends to go see Nightmare Before Christmas with a live symphony at the start of November and that was unbelievable and fantastic and amazing. Such a surreal experience, watching the movie and the music being right there, by people. I watched the orchestra more than the movie, which I hoped they appreciated. One of my favourite movies with the music live was a great experience. I then saw the new Wicked movie on my birthday day with my friends too, and that was surprisingly great! They really did translate the stage show to screen, both Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande did amazing and really sold the characters and their relationship. And the visuals were amazing, apparently a lot of it was real and they took a lot of the in set vocal takes too. We then went to fortress, which is a kinda of "nerd" bar, looks like a medieval tavern, they sell mead and stuff as well as good food and you can rent board games, play video games and do dnd sessions there too, they also have a really cool futuristic cyberpunk cocktail bar upstairs from the tavern which we went to aswell. I bought a shirt from them, senpais.jp did a collab with them so I got a really cool shirt from them, but I took it home at the end of the night and it turned out they gave me the wrong one, so I had to trek it all the way back to the city the next day to exchange it, which they almost didn't do they had to get a manager involved but he said it was ok to change, I had proof of purchase and everything. I also bought a lot of stuff I needed for myself. A bunch of shirts, some new black jeans, and new cologne Jean Paul Gautier Le Male Le Parfum, long name but its my favourite cologne lol oh and a nice green linen shirt too.

But then its kinda gone a lil down hill, a couple week ago, we found out my grandmother had passed away, heart attack. Which I'm glad it was quick and painless but sucks she's not around anymore, I feel really guilty not talking to her more or going to visit her more. We went to her town for her funeral, which we had two. A smaller close family one at the crematorium and one we had at a church that had sooo many people attend. She was very community driven and had a relationship with probably everyone in the town to some degree so it was great to see that. You would have liked her, she was a badass headstrong woman, and stayed very active and lucid up to the end. Going back to her town was very surreal. All the smells and sights were the same, well the sights mostly, the town has grown a lot. A lot of people go through there now so its developed a lot more. And her house was the same, but none of it had the soul anymore, all of it felt empty. We didn't stay super long, a few days, I took lots of pictures, mostly of nostalgic things, patterns in her house and things that were always around. Then my brother got me sick with a chest cold, how that happens in 35+ degree weather I have no idea. But its starting to go now just a bit phlegmy lol. I'm on the waiting list for some psychologists my doctor recommends. I've tried a couple recently and they've not been good, I got lied to about cost, was told one thing and ended up being charged almost double with no warning which sucks and we just didn't click so I'm trying again with someone else. I don't mind if its a little bit expensive just tell me that at the start not after I've been charged and have no control over it like what is that, especially after I was told a different amount. I told my doctor that and he was like ok I'm not going to recommend them anymore lol.

I'm hoping next year will be better, for both of us because we really need it. I really hope at least your new year is better and you can keep progressing. I hope you have a good christmas, and hope you get some good holiday time off too. Know that I'm thinking of you.

thank you lovely 😚😚 this is so cute!! while everyone wants you to have the best day, i fully think the band would be split into two camps on whether or not a surprise party for you is a good idea. on the pro side: ross (loves you more than anything, is obsessed with celebrating you AND making you all blushy and cuddly-shy) and george (has a new mix he wants to share with everyone at an Event, offers his and charli's house as the venue). on the con: adam (fellow introvert, genuinely cares about your wellbeing), matty (mr "wot if i've got like an 'eadache" surprise party hater, thinks ross is being sadistic "and not in a way she'd enjoy") - they begrudgingly agree to it because ross is so genuinely lovestruck at the idea of celebrating you (which tbf they wanna do like you're their lil sis) and he's promised he'll keep the guest list tiny so as to not overwhelm you. and ross tells you you're going for a somewhat fancy dinner, so you're in a cool outfit and your hair looks great, and you're a little bit confused when the taxi pulls into george and charli's street; ross covers it up by saying charli wanted to give you your gift from her tonight, so he thought you should swing round and get it before going out (and she did say in her birthday text to you that she was desperate to see you and celebrate, so you don't question it). it isn't until you're welcomed into the house by the hosts that you figure something's up - it's dark, suspiciously quiet, and your stomach drops in realisation just as the lights flick on and there's a huge cheer of "surprise!" from the band (touring musicians included) and carly and your closest friends. you immediately cover your face in your hands and turn to ross, hiding in his chest and punching him once in the arm like "you're so fucking mean why would you do this to me!! - he just giggles and hugs you like "because you're cute and you deserve to be celebrated on your big day. happy birthday, my love". and you cling to him the whole night, blushing as everyone takes turns talking to you (adam and matty make it abundantly clear that they were not on team surprise, but they both sweetly tell you they're glad to be celebrating (with) you) and giving you gifts and getting you drinks - ross is like "i mean i genuinely find it adorable, but why are you so shy tonight? you know and love every person in this room, and they all love you", and you're like "just don't do well with being centre of attention is all". and he's like "no i get that, believe me, but it's your birthday, babe! you should have the spotlight", and you're like "honestly i'm having a lovely night i'd just rather cling onto you the whole time", to which ross kisses your head and says "well, i certainly won't complain about that" awwwwww <3
