Hello Femme 💐 how are you ? I wanted to ask your opinion on classy , elegant but also a bit of sexy/ eye catching choices for nail polish colours, and manicure tips in general. Thanks a lot and have a good rest of the day 💐

Hi love! My personal favorite nail colors for this look are: dark purple, dark cherry/cheery red, black, and navy blue/dark green.

Some general tips:

Try square, almond, or ballerina-shaped nails

Embrace nail polish textures with some dimension (satin/velvet finishes) or go for a full matte look

Always go for a uniform, solid-colored polish on all 10 (or 20) nails

If you get different colors, try to get similar shades with the lighter shade on your hands and dark shade on your toes

If you want a design, do a French tip or reverse French manicure with gold, silver, or black polish (if you have black on your nails, experiment with a deep red/purple/blue/green accent French shade, too)

knock me down nine times but I get up ten 🙌 Story time: never in my whole life have I had a creative nail art block. Somehow this aptly named @jinsoon polish, “Shake It”, created with @interviewmag, which features bar glitters (a shape I traditionally HATE), inspired some #fun back into my nail life. This design is by no means a work of creative genius- for me it will always be called, half #basic half #Beyoncé and @jessicawashick takes full credit for that name. Also big shouts out to @misspopnails for telling me I need to buy another bottle of polish, and to @beyonce, I don’t think I need to explain that one. Balancing each other’s differences and achieving synergy is important in both creative arts and our daily lives. However, attaining and sustaining a balanced life is difficult in a constantly changing world which requires us to constantly adapt to new conflicts, concerns, and environments. In particular, the unexpected COVID-19 global pandemic made worries about reality and an uncertain future a regular part of our daily lives and thoughts. Just like finding our direction amid a foggy reality, creative activities are like taking a long journey toward an unknown destination. Each of the works presented in this exhibition shows unique and inventive approaches to realizing balance and synergy.
