YES. ABSOLUTELY. They're so gay, it's unbelievable. Their constant cat-and-mouse games. Jack thinking of Spencer when he gets phone anxiety. Spencer always going 'hey Jack, you miss me? :)'. The way he's so obsessed with him, like he's finally found a worthy enemy. It's embarrassing how smitten he was with Jack after Jack killed him, like he's trying so hard to be normal about it, only for Jack to break his heart by telling him he doesn't even remember it.

I keep thinking about that single moment in Vol 4 where Jack jumps into a hole after Kieffer and Spencer and Spencer just fucking catches him? In his arms??

And of course the fan service at the end of that book. Like mhm yeah, how to defeat Spencer Middleton? By grabbing his nuts, of course. No other way, surely.

I'm not sure if you've read the original stories but in the original Christmas At The Gas Station, it ends with Jack in the hospital, receiving a gift from a nurse who said "someone special ;)" wanted him to have it.

And inside the package is a handwritten note written in (most likely Spencer's) blood and Jack's severed pinky, wishing him a Merry Christmas.

I recently read your ship post/ask about Jencer and you mentioned the Christmas special. Now, I haven't read the books (I'm having problems acquiring them) but I have heard the audio (reddit posts) and when Spencer calls Jerry literally says "That guy is so in love with you"

But yeah, I also thought it was Spencer who send him the finger. He is definitely in love with Jack

Yess, that moment of Jerry saying Spencer's in love with Jack is also in the books! (If you're able, Audible has all of the books and you can get a free trial so you can get one of the books at least for free if you remember to cancel before the deadline, but MCP reads all of the books and theyre wonderful)

I do feel like the reddit posts were a lot gayer in certain scenes but the books have more moments with the two so it evens out.

holy shit uh. Woah I haven’t even thought about this one

I’m the #1 jencer shipper. I’m usually a multishipper I just cannot fathom this man with anyone else. BUT

If he were to be with another character I think it would be Benjamin. My one thing is Benjamin is literally jacks dad to me to I’m picturing it being a more “you shot me in the stomach so now I’m making out with the only guy you’ve ever seen as a father figure” thing
