because this drawing specifically being made after Hisoka and Chrollos fight and Hisoka being revived is so fucking important. Allow me to analyze this like the nerd I am.

Let's talk abt the elephant in the room, hisoka's pussy lock. I think its pretty obvious what that symbolizes. Its a way for togashi to say, look at this man! Look where his stupid horny decisions got him! But now he is back. And he has a chastity belt on because its supposed to represent him keeping the horny under control. He will now, FINALLY, start to stop and think with his brain, like Illumi told him to.

Second thing to note here is his pose. I find the pose choice very very interesting considering hisoka hasnt done it before. His arms are over his chest in the shape of an X. it feels closed off. Like hes distancing himself from the audience. To me, it says hes done playing nice.

Now we get to the SPICEY part. The CARDS. An ace of spades and an ace of hearts. Ace of spades has been associated with death and war in some cultures and in card games, is the highest and most powerful card. Now we all know what that means. War is on with the troupe. And Hisoka's bringing it ON.

NOW. NOWNONWO!!! The ace of hearts. An ace of hearts is the complete opposite of the ace of spades. It symbolizes love, compassion, and emotional beginnings. It's the most positive card in the deck, AND. its appearance can signify new relationships, deep emotional connections, and the nurturing aspects of love.

AND..... WE ALL KNOW...... THAT A CERTAIN MAN. IS MARRIED TO THIS MAN.

These cards were deliberate. They symbolized what the succession arc is going to be for Hisoka. death, war and love. DO you fucking REALIZE. DO YOU-
