Jennifer Lopez Skin Care
A. Everything You Need To Know About Jennifer Lopezâs Skincare Routine
Thatâs exactly how the triple threat maintains its coveted âJLo glowâ. Few people have skin as fabulous as Jennifer Lopez. Her radiant and wrinkle-free complexion has been a source of admiration for the world for decades-and inspires fans to search Google for the answer to her beautiful naked face. It is complete and meticulous, but doable.
âPeople always ask about my skin,â Lopez told Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford during a segment in 2014. âI must say that I have good genes. My mom and grandma had beautiful skin, so I was blessed that way. No I had plastic surgery ⌠no injections, no filling, nothing. â
In December 2020, the 51-year-old from the Bronx answered the prayers of those looking for Lopezâs skin care routine with the launch of JLo Beauty: a central line of products like sunscreen, eye cream and serum (available now) that help maintain Lopezâs charisma disease can achieve what âthe JLo-Leuchtenâ was coined.
But what else does the star Hustlers do other than use their lineage religiously to achieve natural perfection? Read everything we know about Lopezâs skin care routine, compiling interviews over the years.
1. Jennifer Lopez uses SPF every day
Sunscreens are easy to discard because they are uncomfortable or boring, but the fact is that everyone with beautiful skin trusts them, including Lopez. Itâs all about finding the right formula for you, whether itâs a high-quality formula that melts on your skin or moisture with UV protection added to it.
âI was never the type to sunbathe, which is why my skin was self-sustaining,â she told us Weekly for the January 2018 edition of the outlet. However, the icon of beauty does not always escape sunlight. âI like to sunbathe like everyone else when I go on vacation,â she told POPSUGAR Beauty in December 2020. âItâs not something I over-abuse, but thatâs why a large part [of JLo Beauty] was sunscreen. . â
âA dermatologist told me too young to use sunscreen and I asked myself, âWhat do I need sunscreen for? I live in New York. âBut the truth is, that was an important part of my ability to look young, because I used it as a moisturizer every day. It helped me protect myself from the elements, and many people donât understand that such a big part of looking young is wearing sunscreen every day. â
2. Jennifer Lopez believes in this skin care ingredient
Interestingly, the skin care ingredient of the lonely island cast member is a staple of the kitchen: olive oil. âMy mom used to say that olive oil is the panacea for everything,â revealed Lopez in a statement shared with GRAZIA USA. âAnd itâs a secret that Iâve used over the years because it really works.â
It is now an irreplaceable part of Lopezâs skin care routine. âWhenever my hair, skin or nails dried, I went back to the oil,â she said at a Zoom meeting with beauty editors, explaining that this is exactly why the main ingredient of her skin care line has become the JLo Beauty Contributes Olive Complex line: A mixture of four parts of squalane, fermented olive oil, extra virgin olive oil and olive leaf extract.
3. Jennifer Lopez always washes her face after exercise
The actress casually trains five times a week, so of course itâs not strange to be sweaty ⌠often. âI always, always wash my face after training,â she said hello! in 2016. âIt helps to keep my pores clean and my skin looking healthy.â
4. Jennifer Lopez never sleeps in makeup
No matter how much Selenaâs student wants to end the day and go to bed, she never gives up on her nightly cleaning routine. âI never go to bed without my makeup on and use night creams to keep my skin hydrated,â Lopez told People in 2016.
And we should all take notes of Lopez when it comes to his consistent sleep schedule. âIdeally, I would like to sleep nine or ten hours,â Lopez told InStyle in 2016. âBut, anyway, I always make sure to get at least eight.â
5. Jennifer Lopez takes care of her body
Lopezâs skin care routine is clearly solid, but she also pays attention to how she feeds her body from the inside out. âI donât drink, smoke and I donât have caffeine,â she said in Weekly in 2016. âIt really ruins your skin as you get older.â What does not hurt the skin? Greens and H2O, which Lopez has in abundance. âWe eat a lot of green vegetables, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli and kale,â she told the establishment. And instead of wine, she drinks at least seven glasses of water a day.
In May 2020, her chef, Kelvin Fernandez, announced that Lopez likes to start the day with green juice. She is not a big fan of fruits, but will drink a mix of âvegetables like spinach, cucumber and celeryâ.
6. Jennifer Lopez takes it easy on her days off
If Lopez doesnât like makeup artist Mary Phillips and hairdresser Chris Appleton, she is probably keeping things simple and relaxed. âI am very cautious with my daily beauty routine. I have to wear a lot of makeup to work. So, when Iâm not working, I usually wear little or no makeup, âhitmaker Jenny From the Block told Instyle in 2018.
7. Jennifer Lopez gets occasional treatment
No, itâs not botox or filler, but a facial treatment that adds a little more TLC to her skin outside of Lopezâs skin care routine. Before appearing on the 2020 Super Bowl break program, the famous beautician Toska Husted did a facial with Biologique Recherche products. She is also no stranger to Dr. Lancers Signature Placenta Facial, an anti-aging treatment that âpromotes the production of collagen and elastinâ.
 B. 11 Anti-Aging Tricks Jennifer Lopez Uses to Look Half Her Age
Jennifer Lopezâs impressive appearance at the Super Bowl LIV halftime show got everyone talking. Not only did her pole dance skills come to the point with someone-like an experienced professional-in her 20s, but her timeless beauty quickly earned her the nickname J. Glow.

1. She gets her beauty serenity
Despite her busy acting schedule, new music, concerts, movie premieres, training with her fiance, outlaw Alex Rodriguez and the mother of her two children (Max and Emme), Lopez somehow finds time to sleep more than most countries.
âTip number one is always to get enough sleep. I canât stress enough,â she told InStyle in 2018. âI would love to sleep nine or ten hours, but either way, I always make sure I get it.â at least eight. â
2. It hydrates and nourishes cleanly
Lopez believes that beauty starts from within. âSorry, itâs true! I think drinking lots of water and fresh food with lots of fruits and vegetables (I always keep them with me) affects the quality of the skin,â she told People in 2016.
3. She doesnât drink or smoke
You can see J. Lo outside the house from time to time, but youâll never catch her throwing drinks back or blowing a cigarette. âShe doesnât drink, she doesnât smoke. She lives a very clean life,â confirmed the groom in 2018, Harperâs Bazaar.
4. It also avoids caffeine
While Lopez is enjoying breakfast, she gets the decaf. âI havenât had caffeine in years,â she told us in 2016 Weekly.
5. She has great genes
While she works hard to maintain her J.Lo shine, she also admits that she has a genetic advantage. âI must say that I have good genes,â she confessed today. âMy mom and grandma had beautiful skin, so I was blessed with her. I am so happy.â
6. She meditates and uses mantras
In addition to his diet, Lopez believes that there is a connection between the mind and the body when it comes to beauty. âI definitely think that beauty comes from within â you need to keep your mind, soul, body and spirit in sync,â she told InStyle in 2016. âI firmly believe in meditation and when you are happy and have joy and love, you radiate beauty. â
She also revealed to Harperâs Bazaarin in 2018 that she is a fan of daily mantras and affirmations. âI am young and timeless. I say this to myself every day, a few times a day. It sounds like fucking clichĂŠ, but itâs not like age is all in your head. Look at Jane Fonda,â she shared.
7. She washes her face after training
Lopez works â a lot! And after each welding session, she makes sure to refresh herself. âI always wash my face after training,â she told Hello! âIt helps to keep my pores clean and my skin is healthy.â
8.  It also cleanses the face before sleeping
As tired as J.Lo is, she never neglects her skin care routine. âI never go to bed without my makeup on and use night creams to moisturize my skin,â she told People in 2016.
9. It protects your skin from sun damage
Lopez believes strongly in the SPF, she told InStyle in 2018. âI try not to spend too much time in the sun,â she added. In an interview with People in 2016, she also revealed that she uses sunscreen every day to protect her skin.
10. She uses glycolic acid to shine
Lopez also revealed to people that she regularly uses glycolic acid to âachieve a healthy glow and clear skinâ. Her contact person? 11. It invests in anti-aging products for the skin
While she can spend hours in the makeup chair for presentations and special occasions, Lopez ensures that her skin can breathe. âIâm quite reluctant about my daily beauty routine,â she admitted to InStyle in 2016. âI have to wear a lot of makeup to work, so I usually do that when Iâm not working.â wear little or no makeup. â
While she tries to run out of makeup whenever possible, the star relies on structured skin care regimes to keep her complexion healthy and youthful-looking. She revealed Hello! Even some of her favorite skin care products. While most of her favorites arenât * so * cheap, itâs worth checking out some of her proven products.
At the end of a long day, J.Lo relies on Lancer Skincare The Method: Cleanse ($ 55; dermstore.com) to remove excess oil, increase cell renewal and protect skin from future damage. She also loves the brandâs Lancer Skincare Eye Contour Lifting cream ($ 95; nordstrom.com) to help reduce dark circles, wrinkles and puffiness thanks to a powerful formula of caffeine, hyaluronic acid and peptides to brighten the eye area.
Her longtime makeup artist, Scott Barnes, revealed in a 2018 interview with Popsugar that the star bets on La Mer Moisturizing Cream (starting at $ 90; nordstrom.com), a popular cream that deeply moisturizes dry skin. âThatâs the only thing that is in the makeup ward, no matter what,â he said.
And although she has an arsenal of luxury products, J.Lo confessed, in an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in 2014, that she was Dr. Hauschkaâs rose day cream ($ 45; amazon. com) was a cheaper product. a friendly moisturizer that uses avocado and rosehip oils to hydrate, nourish and soothe irritated skin.

In case you didnât know, Jennifer Lopez has a new line of skin products called JLo Beauty and she wants you to use it! What better way to demonstrate the effects of That Jlo Glow Serum or That Fresh Take Eye Cream than to really show what she is doing under her flawless makeup?
In the post-New Year video, Lopez is still wearing her stage makeup from a recent performance that she describes as âa lot of makeupâ. The pop star starts her nightly skin care routine in three steps with her new cleanser That Hit Single. She applies only a quarter of the size of the Pinky Pearlescent product to her face before cleaning her makeup with her hands. âWash 2020â, she joked.
For the remainder of her eight-minute video, Lopez demonstrates the rest of her routine by passing on to her $ 118 That JLo Glow Serum, which she says gives her âmore shine than if I were wearing makeupâ.
Lopez claims that she sent the product back to the drawing board about 23 times before getting the âfirming and instant shineâ effect she was looking for. Lopez then closed his video with That Blockbuster Wonder Cream.
Jennifer Lopez recently announced to Glamor that she never tried Botox. âIâm not that person. I have nothing against who does this. Itâs just not my thing,â she said during Zoomâs call with beauty editors. âIâm more interested in a natural approach to skin care. I think, honestly, it starts with who you are on the inside first and it shows on your face on the outside. Thatâs number one.â

Skin deep: Contance Wuâs beauty picks revealed
The 36-year-old actress likes to keep it simple but cherishes her skincare regimen
Constance Wu at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., Aug. 4, 2018. Wu, who stars in âCrazy Rich Asians,â prefers to keep her skin care routine simple, and has been pining for La Mer moisturizer since middle school. (Emily Berl/The New York Times)
Constance Wu stars in what may be this summerâs guilty pleasure, the film adaptation of Crazy Rich Asians, which will be in theatres Aug. 15. She is also known for her role as Jessica Huang in the TV comedy series âFresh Off the Boat.ââ¨Off-screen, Wu, who is 36 and is from Richmond, Virginia, would love to channel Jennifer Lopez â in beauty choices, at least. Find out why she has âflightyâ issues with her hair and why it is all about the J. Lo glow.â¨â¨Skin Careâ¨First thing: I chug a bunch of water, and then I usually do something pretty simple. You know those Neutrogena make-up wipes? I use either those or just water. I follow that with Drunk Elephant vitamin C serum. I shop at Sephora a lot because theyâre really cool about letting you try things out. This was a recommended product there, so I gave it a go and loved it.â¨Then I use La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream. The first time I heard about La Mer was in middle school, and I read that J. Lo used it. I didnât always use it, but once I started making money, I was like, âI can actually afford to treat myself.â To me, skin care is a pleasure.â¨Depending on the day, I might use sunscreen. I used to use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer, but then I read that physical sunscreens are better than chemical ones, and I switched to one by La Roche-Posay.â¨I have a whole other routine at night. If Iâve had a shoot and Iâm wearing make-up, I do different types of cleanser. I use SK-II oil cleanser â that takes the make-up off â and after that, I use the Clearasil face wash. Seriously. Iâve been using it since I was a teenager.â¨And Iâm really into these Alpha Beta peels by Dr. Dennis Gross. If I want to be really glow-y the next day, I definitely use them.â¨I follow that with the Drunk Elephant serum, and sometimes I use a prescription retinoid called tretinoin. If I do the peel, though, I skip that. I wonât use both. I also like the Shiseido Glow Revival line a lot. I use the serum, the lotion and the eye cream.â¨If I have an event or something, I sometimes do a face mask before. Thereâs this brand called Naruko. I discovered it when I was filming Crazy Rich Asians. Face masks are relatively new in the US. In Asia, you can buy them â all kinds â at the local drugstore. I was at a drugstore in Singapore buying toothpaste, and they had a sampler pack of face masks with the Naruko ones I love so much.â¨â¨Make-upâ¨Make-up is a kind of mood ring. One day you can be really stripped down and natural, and on other days you want to do an orange lip. Usually I use the ClĂŠ de Peau concealer for my dark circles. And I always do some kind of blush. My blushes rotate depending on my mood and what Iâm wearing. Sometimes I do a powder blush from Laura Mercier, and sometimes I do a HD cream blush from Make Up forever. But then today, for example, Iâm wearing Benetint.â¨I do brown eyeliner on my top lash line. And I like lip colour that mimics my natural colour â itâs a pinky mauve. The one Iâm using now is by Charlotte Tilbury. I do like having a lip liner sometimes, and I have one by Laura Mercier in Potpourri. I line just outside my top lip before filling it in. I take a lot of inspiration from J. Lo in that sense. She looks so great.â¨Mascara irritates my eyes. I get lash extensions now â itâs easier. I try to get really natural-looking ones that are thin and donât really curl. I donât want to look like those dolls that blink.â¨â¨Fragranceâ¨I donât wear fragrance. Fragrance shopping is so overwhelming. I donât even know how to begin.â¨â¨Hairâ¨My natural hair is a dark, dark brown, very shiny, very straight and very full. I have âsoâ much hair. Iâve gone through four different hair colours this year. It wasnât because of any roles. It was because of my flighty personality.â¨I took the summer off from work. Because I knew I wasnât going to be on camera for several months, I thought, âIâm going to just play around.â I was pink, then I was jet black, then I was blond, and now Iâm kind of dark blond-light brown.â¨At first, I thought my hair was invincible â I could do anything to it. And after the first three colours, it was OK. By the time I got to my fourth colour, it seemed to quit. I donât want to be this colour, and Iâm trying to get it to a richer chocolate brown. Next week Iâm actually going to Eddie at Mare to get it a little darker.â¨Normally I use the Bumble and Bumble Hairdresserâs Invisible Oil shampoo and conditioner. But now itâs not enough. I use the Olaplex conditioner, and I have to do a deep conditioning mask.â¨â¨Diet and Fitnessâ¨Since I turned 30, Iâve had to think about diets more. Itâs not necessarily for weight reasons but because I got adult eczema. I donât want to be on steroid creams, so I worked with a dermatologist on an elimination diet to see what foods triggered it. We found some very specific things, like pineapple, which I now have to avoid.â¨Iâm not really into âfitness.â Iâm into running because itâs relaxing for me and meditative. When I want to veg out, I go for a run. It calms me. Iâve run a couple marathons.
Other Servicesâ¨I do gel pedicures once a month, and I try to do a facial at Dtox Day Spa once a month. Sometimes it becomes once every two months.â¨

The big problem with those conservative calls for 'civility'
Conservative doublespeak just got taken to a whole new level.
There are many reasons to balk at politicians' and commentators' calls for "civility" in response to Donald Trump officials getting kicked out of restaurants. Say, the hypocritical fact of Trump's own acerbic behavior, or the idea that "civility" is the least of our worries at a time when the U.S. government has separated migrant families at the border with no plans for reuniting them.Â
SEE ALSO: Memo to 2018 from the 1960s: Forget 'civility.' Get angry. Don't stop.
Now, the people of Twitter have honed in on a particularly piercing rebuke of the civility balloon by invoking the idea that helped put Trump in office: that conservatives in fact ended "civility" themselves, by just calling it "political correctness," and labeling sensitivity about the language we use as a problem.
"What ever happened to civility?" "You labeled it 'political correctness' and decided it was something bad."
â Allen Marshall (@AllenCMarshall) June 29, 2018
This "civility" brouhaha all started when White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders oh-so-innocently tweeted that a restaurant denied her service.Â
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so
â Sarah Sanders (@PressSec) June 23, 2018
Sanders' statement came several days after protestors drove Department of Homeland Security secretary Kirstjen Nielsen out of a Mexican restaurant by yelling "shame" at her, after a press conference in which she defended her agency's family separations at the border.Â
At another Mexican restaurant in D.C., one patron went up to Stephen Miller, who is the reported architect of many of Trump's immigration policies, and called him a fascist. Protesters have also staged rallies outside of Miller and Nielsen's homes.
Meanwhile, Rep. Maxine Waters supported the public confrontation of Trump officials at a rally in Los Angeles, and used the word "harass," which really got people hot and bothered.
"The people are going to turn on them, they're going to protest, they're going to absolutely harass them until they decide that they're going to tell the president 'no I can't hang with you, this is wrong," Waters said.
After Sanders' Red Hen incident, the protests, and Waters' comment, national conversation took a detour away from topics like, oh, the Supreme Court decision upholding the Muslim ban, and the separation of children from their parents at the border. Conservative politicians and several editorials decided that this was the moment to lament the lack of "civility" in America.Â
In particular, a Washington Post editorial telling readers to "let the Trump team eat in peace" caused a firestorm on Twitter. Republican Jeb Hensarling opened a committee hearing with Waters decrying her comments as uncivil and not neighborly. And Republican political adviser David Gergen told CNN that today's protests are less "civil in tone" than the civil rights struggle of the 1960s and 1970s.Â
Many other editorials and segments followed echoing the same need for "civility." And Marco Rubio got sassy about the use of the word "fuck" by a Capital Gazette reporter who survived the deadly shooting at her workplace.
youtube
Sign of our times... the F word is now routinely used in news stories, tweets etc Itâs not even F*** anymore. Who made that decision???
â Marco Rubio (@marcorubio) June 29, 2018
Also, Trump made a lightly veiled violent threat. But anywho...
Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party. She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America Great Again movement. Be careful what you wish for Max!
â Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 25, 2018
People have not taken kindly to the civility comments. Some have said that incivility is exactly the correct response to the Trump administration. And others have pointed to the hypocrisy of the statement given the president's own history of mocking women, minorities, people with disabilities, and anyone who opposes him.
But beyond pointing out hypocrisy, there is a very clear answer to the doe-eyed question of "gee, where did American civility go?" And it is at the heart of what got Trump elected: the Right's previous obsession with the damage that "political correctness" was inflicting on the country during the Obama years.Â
The argument went like this: America has become so politically correct, catering to the whims of sensitive minorities, that it has infringed on Americans' right to say what we really think, and it has allowed for America to become overrun with (dark-skinned) migrants. There was a sense that if something offended people, that didn't mean what that thing said was actually incorrect â it just meant that it was offensive.Â
So Trump rode into office as the candidate willing to tell it like it is, "crying liberals" be damned. His truth-telling about invasive immigrants would cut to the heart of America's real problems (not its fake problems, like racism), and thereby Make America Great Again.Â
Trump has railed against political correctness 37 times on Twitter, frequently using it as the ending note and resounding message of his campaign appearances.
THANK YOU Grand Rapids, Michigan! Time to end political correctness & secure our homeland! https://t.co/cyRCfwxJg3 pic.twitter.com/PPrriLTFgA
â Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 22, 2015
Obama, and all others, have been so weak, and so politically correct, that terror groups are forming and getting stronger! Shame.
â Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 22, 2016
Our country has become so politically correct that it has lost all sense of direction or purpose. We are unable to move forward painlessly.
â Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 21, 2014
I have just ordered Homeland Security to step up our already Extreme Vetting Program. Being politically correct is fine, but not for this!
â Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 1, 2017
Trump and his supporters objected to politically correct speech because the fear of being called a racist made America less secure. So every penis joke, "lock her up" chant, Mexican rapist comment, and disabled reporter impression just strengthened him.Â
Where did "civility in America" go? Down the toilet with "politically correct" sensitivity about stereotyping, racism, and sexism.Â
And this pic I will keep pulling up every day until this is over.... pic.twitter.com/A9XJOL6ryt
â CD Reiss (@CDReisswriter) June 30, 2018
đ¤đ¤đ¤đ¤đ¤đ¤ pic.twitter.com/KnHYbKwbs4
â Charles Gaba (@charles_gaba) June 29, 2018
Now, the people of Twitter aren't going to let conservatives have their cake and eat it, too. Many have pointed out that "civility" is just a re-branding of "political correctness," something that conservatives previously pinpointed as the source of America's ills.Â
If conservatives were so concerned about preserving their ability to use slurs and "tell the truth" even if it offended people, why are they opposed to liberals using the sharpest arrows that speech allows to protest conservative policy, in the face of those enacting that policy?
The see-sawing between âwe need more civilityâ and âwe need less political correctnessâ is really something to behold.
â Matthew Yglesias (@mattyglesias) July 1, 2018
Regarding the right whining about a lack of civility in public discourse after years of also whining about Political Correctness: I once set someone off in a bar by telling him 80% of what he derided as Political Correctness was simply being polite. So fuck your feelings dude.
â jackwilliambell (@jackwilliambell) July 1, 2018
We need civility but NOT political correctness
â Demo (@__demosthenes) July 1, 2018
What exactly is the difference between "civility" and "political correctness" and how does one rationalize loving one and hating the other?
â nate bowling (@nate_bowling) June 25, 2018
I remember when civility was called political correctness, and it was bad.
â Jake Maccoby (@jdmaccoby) June 30, 2018
If Republicans want civility, they can start by rejecting Trumpism whose very foundation is built upon incivility & anti-political correctness.
â William LeGate (@williamlegate) June 25, 2018
It can feel like a maddening exercise in futility to point out every Trumpian hypocrisy or blame-shift. But in this instance, dissecting the language used to paper over real issues is crucial.
Let's remember: Sarah Huckabee Sanders' Red Hen incident tweet distracted from the media shitstorm that the family separation policy had caused. Now, by interrogating the narrative of civility, we are actually able to bring the conversation back to the issue of immigration at hand. That's because Trump invoked arguments against political correctness to lay the groundwork for the inhumane immigration policy that it is now enacting.Â
Recently, the New York Times reported on the Right's newfound embrace of the First Amendment to push forward an ultra-conservative agenda. From this report, and from how civility and political correctness have been summoned as a distraction from landmark Supreme Court decisions and family separation, it's clear that the battle over freedom of speech has consequences beyond language.Â
Let's make sure those who seek to lock up immigrants, enable unlimited campaign spending, or abolish abortion, don't have the last word.

Everybody wants glowing skin, but if youâve ever walked into a Sephora and taken one glance at the skincare section, you know very well that beauty often comes with a hefty price tag. So what do you do when you want that celebrity fresh-faced look without the $4,000 price tag of Kim Kardashianâs skin care routine?
You look in your fridge.
There are plenty of household items and even everyday cooking ingredients that can amp up your beauty routine. Below are just a few of my favorites to help you get that J-Lo glow.
ZIT-ZAPPING
The bacteria found in yogurt isnât only good for your gut, itâs been proven to help with many chronic skin conditions, including acne. Grab your whole milk yogurt from the fridge and place a small amount (about 2 tablespoons) in a bowl. Add 3-5 drops of lavender oil or any essential oil you like and mix. If youâre really feeling fancy, you can add a small amount of lavender flowers for an exfoliating component. Leave on your skin for 30 minutes and youâll immediately look fresh.
HYDRATING
Add equal parts banana and papaya and a splash of aloe water in a bowl and start mashing. Papaya is rich in vitamin A and vitamin C, which means itâs great for healing dry, flaky skin and boosting collagen production. Leave on your skin for 20 minutes for a mask that both hydrates and tastes good.
BRIGHTENING
Mix one egg white with 1teaspoon of orange or grapefruit juice and teaspoon of turmeric powder and leave on your face for no more than 15 minutes. Curcumin, a chemical found in turmeric, is a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal. The component makes this turmeric mask a great brightening tool. Just make sure you reserve this mask for people with tanner complexions because of the goldenrod-colored glow the masks leaves.

3 Skin Care Hacks That Actually Work
Everybody wants glowing skin, but if youâve ever walked into a Sephora and taken one glance at the skincare section, you know very well that beauty often comes with a hefty price tag. So what do you do when you want that celebrity fresh-faced look without  the $4,000 price tag of Kim Kardashianâs skin care routine ?  You look in your fridge.  There are plenty of household items and even  everyday cooking ingredients that can amp up your beauty routine . Below are just a few of my favorites to help you get that  J-Lo  glow.   ZIT-ZAPPING  The bacteria found in yogurt isnât only good for your gut, itâs been proven to  help with many chronic skin conditions, including acne . HYDRATING  Add equal parts banana and papaya and a splash of aloe water in a bowl and start mashing. Papaya is rich in vitamin A and vitamin C, which means itâs great for  healing dry, flaky skin  and boosting collagen production. Leave on your skin for 20 minutes for a mask that both hydrates and tastes good.    BRIGHTENING  Mix one egg white with 1teaspoon of orange or grapefruit juice and  teaspoon of turmeric powder and leave on your face for no more than 15 minutes. Curcumin, a chemical found in turmeric, is  a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal . The component makes this turmeric mask a great brightening tool. Just make sure you reserve this mask for people with tanner complexions because of the goldenrod-colored glow the masks leaves.    For more  Elite Daily original videos , subscribe to the official  Elite Daily YouTube Channel  and like the official  Elite Daily Facebook Page .    Read more:  http://elitedai.ly/2l4JsW7  The post  3 Skin Care Hacks That Actually Work  appeared first on  Automotive Guide To Everything .
