Secondly some context— (in a nutshell) AU where people are infected with manipulative and ravenous parasites, Ivan accidentally created them one day and therefore infected Doc through close proximity (and unintentionally broke his heart too,) Doc went through his second villain origin story and now they’re divorced lol
