The argument that comics canon is inherently better than any fanon/headcanon and should be followed always is so funny when combined with the fact that every single person who reads canon has at least one writer/editor they want to launch into the sun for what they did to the characters they were in charge of.

#The absolutism is just wild to me #Sometimes canon blows chunks and should be retconned away and not spoken about again #Sometimes fanon/headcanon makes me want to chew glass with how hard it misses what I think is the point #Both things can be true #It's Canon Casserole you pick out the stuff you like and throw it all together and leave the rest in the trash #And which bits I want to keep is gonna change based on Rule of Funny/Cool/Drama/whatever it's for #It's the omniverse now baby I am beholden to no one.
