I don't understand why a lot of people have crappy christmas. I love celebrating with my family, they're all great. And yeah, maybe when my dad and my uncle drinksm a bit too much, he can end up saying a few sexist things, but they get all the rest of the family on their backs, so they shut up quickly.

hmmmm anon not to sound like an asshole but like, you’re lucky XD I mean my christmas was okay but I’m on the side of the family where it’s four siblings and if one of them has no resentment for another one they have it for the other two but they can’t say because NOT WITH MY GRANDDAD PRESENT so they just do passive aggressive more or less, and there’s..further drama that kind of pisses me off but no one touches it and at least no one disagrees politically or anything but I mean I can’t say *all* of them are great? and I’m lucky anyway because some people might be lgbt and have a family that doesn’t accept them so they can’t bring their significant others or they have to fake not being so, some people might be atheist and have the extra religious family who puts a LOT of emphasis on that aspect (AT LEAST MY FAMILY DOESN’T not on this side) and imagine how fun is that, some people might hate their relatives, some people might feel shitty because idk they don’t have money to buy presents and so on, like some of us have it bad and others have it worse and some people have just shitty relatives who don’t care to make it nice. like obviously anyone can supersede over minor un-PC stuff said while drunk but for some people it’s not *that* easy and some people can just hate christmas period XD like you don’t wanna know how it went the year my grandmother died TWO WEEKS BEFORE I wanted to die inside the entire time /o\ 

anyway I’m glad you’re having a good time and you enjoy it :D everyone who does should and it’s good to know that. but on the other for some people it sucks and they have all the legit reasons to and not everyone has a 99% or 100% nice family they *want* to spend time with and they also have a right to hate it if they want to xD
