i completely forgot to do this omg only now remembered

so uhh, prepare for a lot of talk about The Exorcist. because i took notes. ill talk about shit in the order it happens in the movie. and yeah spoilers.

so first, the part that's in Iraq. i liked the quiet, very comforting. im very confused what's wrong with the old guy. he looks like a walking cane would help him a lot. more than the molly or whatever pills he takes. and also i was so confused why that statue mattered at all.

mom checks up on Reagan: "wind cannot be that cold in like usa the fuck you shivering for",, in hindsight, there's another reason for it to be so cold.

the film set: "damien karras spotted!!" @weirdlildude you have conditioned me to get excited whenever i see him. otherwise, "what the hells going on", i was so confused the whole time, mainly because i didnt know if the protest was real, or if everyone was actors. it was just very confusing. and when damien walks away: "sad pathetic man!!"

mom, Chris, is walking home: "ace attourney ass music" and "why'd she pay attention to that??" when she stops and watches the priests talking.

"what is with this movie and the sound design", just a general statement. the movie likes to contrast thick silences with really loud sounds.

Karras visits his mother: "pathetic man caught lying to his mother!!", when he says he's alright.

Chris and Reagan hang out: "girlypop ive got a chronic case of parent issues"

the other priest checks up on Karras: "losing faith? *eyebrow raise*"

Chris goes up to the attic to check the noise: "omg im like so bored", legit nothing was happening, was getting very bored. also i didnt write this in my notes, but Chris has a horrid haircut. its like a bowlcut but worse.

priest does stuff in the church: "do priests legit need to kneel everytime they approach the altar. doesnt that get like really tiring geez" and when the priest discovers the vandalised statue: "LMAOOO JGGIDJAGHJAFD FUCK YEAH"

Reagan's first doctors visit: "omg words that should never come out of a mothers mouth number 1 "my daughters not depressed" "

the director gets drunk at Chris' party and calls that one dude a nazi: "LMAOF "whats for dessert?😏" "

Karras has a dream: "doggy:)"

Reagan's second hospital visit: "oh god i hate horror stuff that takes place in a hospital", and "oh god i hate this why's she awake during this"

Karras is running on the track: "he's a runner he's a track star", when he's talking with the detective and leans on the chain fence "i want him to kabedon me like that", and when the conversation ends "tbh i did not fully understand that conversation but understanding that father karras is a little shit is enough"

Chris and Reagan return home and the detective is watching them: "this fucking creep ass detective", Chris and him start talking "i fucking hate this guy omg shut up", they talk more "this guy is so rude omg"

Chris hears Reagan scream and goes to check on her: "is uhh,, is this movie like pure horror? like that wasnt supposed to be comedic?". this is where i started to really be confused about the genre of the movie. like, i started to realise that it was not inciting any horror from me, and barely even like, anxiousness. like i did care for the characters, but its hard to really feel scared for them when the demon threatening them is chanting "let jesus fuck you", and puking constantly.

Chris goes to ask Karras for an exorcism: "why is the church so progressive in this??" like legit you're telling me the catholic church doesn't believe in posession, because science has advanced to explain the symptoms. that sounds like bullshit to me. in 1973? you're just lying.

Chris is desperate to help her daughter: "dude my parent issues be hitting hard"

Karras throws tap water onto Reagan: "i dont get it like. why did it react to the water?", i just dont get it. the movie doesn't really care to explain it. cuz i thought that the demon actually wouldn't be real because of that. or did Karras unintentionally bless the water by saying its holy? idk

when Karras and the older priest take a break from exorcising, and the old priest walks off: "is he gonna kill her. also am i supposed to understand what the pills he's taking are?". genuinely i have no fucking idea what the pills are that this old guy keeps taking, like they could just be breath mints for all i know.

Karras is sitting downstairs in the hall: "sorry he's so hot jeezums"

Karras is resolved to not let the demon kill Reagan: "oh shit karras be fighting FOR THIS GIRLS LIFE"

Chris opens the door to the detective: "OH MY GOD FUCKING GO AWAY YOU DETECTIVE"

Karras, uhm,, takes a leap of faith: "I FORGOT THAT THIS HAPPENS I KNEW THIS AND STILL DEAR GOD NOOOOO",

"BUT ALSO KINDA COOL OF HIM TO DO THAT", it was kinda hot that he sacrificed himself, though he was probably just looking for a reason after his mom died.

Chris and Reagan talk to that one priest that knew Karras: "oh like she(Reagan)'s thanking karras for saving her? she recognised the collar and felt compelled to thank him?", wondering why Reagan gave a kiss to the priest.

this whole ending scene tbh: "jesus its so quiet again", this movie really likes its quiet silences.

detective talks to dyer: "LMAOOOOO"

credits: "DAMN I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKE THE SOUND TRACK??", "lmao warner bros should add a "the exorcist" attraction into the universal studios park"

anywayy yeah its a fun movie, though i feel the need to read the book now to understand it fully ya know? feels like im missing something... also i know that it got popular cuz its so like "provocative" and stuff, but in this age i dont really get the hype. i guess it is still worth appreciating for furthering the art of film ya know.

The DL kids on Empires part 3: Stay or go?

Entering Hermitcraft was a dream come true for most of the kids. Gertrude, Liana, and Wes had dreamt of it since they were children, to see the place they’ve heard so many stories about.

When it actually happened though…it was a lot less exciting than they’d expected.

If you remember from last time, Liana, Wes, and Jassy jumped through the rift with the other Hermits, not really processing that they left the other four behind.

They came not soon after, but all seven knew the impact of the decision that had been made.

Like with part one, we will be going over the kids character by character, which means new desiiiiiigns.

Liana

(Girl got a mad glow up tbh. Back again to her bright colors now that she’s once again a salesman. Also decided to actually put her hair up, because hair gel can only do so much to keep it out of the face. Also her pipe, that I forgot she had lol)

Liana was fricking ecstatic about being on Hermitcraft. She had been a bit down and depressed on Empires (Case you couldn’t tell), but Hermitcraft truly was a breath of fresh air

She spent days just flying around the server, looking at every build she could meticulously, checking every shop in the shopping district, and trying out every Redstone contraction

Has gotten used to her prosthetic, and despite being a bit wobbly from time to time and needing a cane, she can mostly walk just fine without her crutch.

Hermitcraft is the first server she’s on with an actual economy, and she plans to scam every single member out of all they have.

Being a natural born liar, she isn’t afraid to make up fictions about products, or upsell in every opportunity she gets. She mainly does this with The Entity, as getting a shop of her own would be way too much work, but she’s also seen using her tactics at Scarland.

Her and Jassy stay in Scarland, since they aren’t exactly capable of building their own base. Liana has ambitions of her own company, but it’s a long way there

She stays out of Christmas village for the most part, since most of the other kids are staying there. She fears the confrontation

She wishes she had a chance of meeting Mumbo, but unfortunately he’s off server. Sad :(

Wes

(Big boy finally got a haircut, good on him. Went with some dwarf vibes for him, with the heavy boots and gauntlet. Healing pot and Nightvision are a must when you’re down in the mines constantly. Also wookit his lil smile, he’s happy :D)

Struggles a lot at Hermitcraft, since he’s on horrible terms with his boyfriend. Jekiv is kinda his crutch and helps him with his anxieties and OCD, so without him it was kinda difficult

Wes stays with Impulse in favor of BDubs since that relationship is beyond saving, building a quaint house not too far from his fortress.

He helps with restocking Iluminate and iBuy in any way he can, though also False with the copper and XB with Iron blocks. He just likes mining, but has no use for the actual wares he gets from it

Visits BDubs at least once a week for a cup of tea or something, because he still wants to bond with his dad. He’s still a little much sometimes, but it’s better than it’s been before

Jassy and him become amazing friends during this period. They’ve always had a close friendship, but when it’s just the three of them they got even closer. Especially since they are kind of step siblings

Yeah there’s that too. Wes really likes Zedaph and Tango, the same with Etho, it’s just strange to see his parents…not married. Together with other people. They were so lovey dovey on Double Life, but now they act as just general friends

Despite it all, Wes does enjoys Hermitcraft so much. He loves his dad, kind of likes the other one, enjoys the builds and redstone everyone makes (Impulse is even teaching him some simpler farms!), and loves the community. He just wishes Jekiv loved it more

Gertrude

(Back to the Tomboy look lol. Easier to work in. Also yes she’s wearing a wielding helmet over her glasses, it’s a look alright! Also this is the first time y’all see her stomach, and yeah she’s absolutely shredded)

Gertrude is…conflicted. It’s nice to see where her dad is from and see some of his builds, but she really loved Glimmergrove and the Empires server. She loved that she could be both a princess and a monster hunter, she loved having Katherine as her mentor, she loved just…being.

And yeah, she’s angry as fuck about Wes, Liana and Jassy jumping through the portal with the intent to leave them all behind. Never mess with an angry werewolf, they’ve got more bite than bark

So while she stays on Hermitcraft, she stays out of the other kids business, the only one she really interacts with being Novo.

But through her dad, she meets Doc

Docm77 is someone she’s heard of through Ren, both by being one of his best friends and by being one of the best and most clever redstoners of his time.

So yeah, Gertrude is fascinated. She’s always enjoyed the craft of redstone, the idea that you can do and make whatever you want with just some red powder and a few pistons, and Doc takes it to levels she’d never even thought of. He brought an Enderdragon, a thing she’s only heard of in storybooks, to the overworld and tamed it!

So Gertrude hangs around the creeper all day, absorbing every bit of information she can. Doc isn’t against it, she’s a bit like Ren with the wild puppy energy, just a bit more chilled out.

She also loves the Dragon, it’s surprisingly friendly

Johnny

(As I’ve said before, there’s only so many western looks. Also the hat burnings probably got too tiresome, so no more hat :( Also Butternut! I mentioned her in part 1 I think, but yeah, there she is! She’s a Mustang! Of course Johnny brought her through the portal, what’s a country boy without his horse?)

As I said in part 2, Johnny is very conflicted over everything, but not for the same reason as Gertrude. No, for him it’s difficult because his two dads live in each of the different servers, and he knows he’s gonna have to choose between the two.

And Johnny really doesn’t want to choose. He’s the only one of the kids with equal love for both of his dads, who’s had no hiccups in his relationship with them, who just wishes to have Double Life back.

But he doesn’t have that option, and before he even jumps into Hermitcraft he knows what his choice will be

So the five months they are there, Johnny spends every minute with, Tango assisting him with Decked out 2 for the most part. It’s a bit strange to see his dad all frosty instead of Fiery, but his temper is still the same, he’s still his dad.

He also attempts to bond with his dads two partners, but Impulse is around Wes a little too much so it’s mostly with Zedaph. Johnny is a good mob herder though, so it’s easy to get things for Zed’s experiments. Zedaph probably loves the kid more than Tango

Because of all this, Johnny doesn’t see much of his pa. He visits him from time to time, but it’s more of a once every few weeks type of deal. Johnny never learns of Tiny Tom

Jassy

(Girl got the Sailor Moon space buns got the Sarashi, got the forearm blades, she’s dripped out. I had another design for her originally, but changed it immediately when the two heroes thing got added. Also, she’s missing her mask! That will be explained later….)

Jassy is fucking ecstatic, she don’ even care about the whole rift between the gang. Her wife and best friend are both team HC, and she gets to meet her favorite dad again. So yeah, how the others were feeling was not her prio at all

Finding Etho’s base was surprisingly easy, no the real problem was finding Etho

Jassy spent a week searching every inch of the main server area, and other places he might be drawn too. After three days she actually called upon the help of BDubs and Beef, the two people who knows him the best

A day after eventually giving up, Etho just showed up in the shopping district looking for rockets

Great waste of time

Etho was a lil iffy and awkward about, I mean wouldn’t you, but he adjusted better than most. But because Joel was so different than he was from last life, the two didn’t get along in the same way they did. They barely hit it off at all in fact. Jassy was bummed

It was strangely lovely to see Etho interact with BDubs though. He was happy in a different way than he ever was with her and Joel. Happy in the same way Jassy is with Liana

Her and Liana stays in Scarland for easy access to Liana’s business ventures, and Jassy mainly just vibes and does her thing. Etho starts teaching her a little redstone, she enjoys that

Unlike Liana and Wes, she does check out Christmas Village and still vibes with Joel. Even goes back to Empires for a few days to visit and hang out with Hermes.

While Jassy was fully fine with being a big sis to Hermes, she’s less than thrilled over the three new surprise siblings she gains

Tiny Tom is around for maybe two days, and Mandy Mane and Rucking Rat are mainly taken care of by Oli, so it’s not a whole lot there but also like holy void dad

Jekiv

(Jekiv, like Novo, has really grown during his designs. He’s going through entire character arcs with every new look, we love that for him. Also Jekiv hair reveal! It’s very dirty, raggedy and patchy, hope y’all didn’t expect much lol. My boy continues with his skull motif too)

*Inhale* *Exhale* BOI-

Jek is straight suffering aright. Him and Wes are the only couple with separate views on the whole situation, wildly separate views at that.

As stated in the relationship analysis, Wes and Jek is a complicated situation. They have a fragile relationship that works for them, but it’s not built to last. So the whole ordeal is like someone finally pulling the final piece of the late stage jenga tower that has been there for years. It all crumbles.

Jekiv stays as far away from Wes as possible. He spends almost all of his time in Christmas Village or the surrounding area, studying his necromancer abilities. He’s able to summon up body parts of the dead, like a hand or a leg, but he’s yet to be able to make them do his bidding.

Ignoring his problems is like second nature to Jek. The only difference now is that he doesn’t have anyone around he can vent all of his frustrations out from time to time. He doesn’t want to put that all on Shubble or his mom, so he bites his tongue.

He just wishes to go back to Empires as soon as possible, but with the server being close to deserted (and he hates being alone), he’s forced to stick around.

Help around a lot of Christmas village, from the building of the bases to the decorating of the tree. He’s a Christmas fan alright?

Novo

(My boy, in all of his glory. As stated before, Novo is my favorite of the kids based on looks alone, I think he looks amazing and I love making him. Beard a la Hunter Games style, plus a snazzy hat and snazzy shoes. The boy has drip, you just don’t know what it is yet)

Novo is…fine. Really, he’s fine. Since he’s the one with the worst relationship with his parents he’s usually the one who struggles the most with like, everything, but no he’s fully okay. Sure, Christmas Village makes it much harder to avoid his dad, but at one point you just sorta accept that he’s there

He travels around the server a lot, partly exploring and partly just keeping up with his new job as a bard. The Hermits hate his singing and playing just as much as the emperors, but they have actual diamonds when they wish to pay him to leave

Man accidentally becomes the richest of the kiddos

Is stoked he gets to hang around Jekiv a lot like when they were younger. He loves Jek, despite everything, he’s like his big brother (Even though Novo technically is the oldest), and even though Jekiv can’t stand him for more than five minutes it doesn’t bother him

Also, he becomes a babysitter. Mandy Mane and Rucking Rat just pop up one day, no idea how they got there (They don’t actually know where kids come from, as they all just spawned in and their parents never bothered with telling them), but now Novo is an uncle! And a terrible one at that!

Out of all the Team Empires kids, he’s the only one who’s kinda cool with the Team Hermitcraft kids. As stated, Jassy visits occasionally and while Jekiv immediately dips when she does, Novo is pretty friendly with her. Well, as friendly as he can be

So yeah, that’s the kids! Bye!!

Okay I’m joking

The Empires people are at Hermitcraft for five months. For four of these months, the group is divided with most not speaking to each other, and some barely speaking to anyone at all. It’s an issue.

Novo and Jassy, the two who are the least affected by the rift, finally decide to take action. Their partners, Gert and Liana, are suffering, and so are their best friends.

The root of the problem does lie within Jekiv and Wes. Jekiv is pissed and Wes is sad and ignores most people, so if they tried to get all seven of them in one room it would be chaos. The best solution would be to trick Jek and Wes into figuring out their problems, then extend it to the group as a whole.

So, with the help of the Soup Group, they devise a plan to get them talking.

Impulse and Gem make sure Wes stays down in the mines, distracting him, while Novo lures Jekiv down to the same mines, saying he’s found some crazy Zombie-Skeleton hybrid. As soon as Jekiv is down there, Impulse, Gem, and Novo sneak out as Pearl sets off an explosive in the mountain, causing a cave in. Jekiv and Wes are now trapped in a closed off mine, with nothing to do but talk to each other.

And talk they do. It takes them two hours to stop arguing and shouting at each other, both saying some real nasty stuff they will come to regret later (Oh I have a fic idea now, hehehe), and when they’re both sore in the throat they just try to get out in silence. Fortunately, Pearl is an expert in explosives, and knows exactly how to set them off just right. The mine is too unstable to try and escape from the inside, so their only hope is to wait for help. And, since they’re not technically players, they don’t have any communicators either.

(Unbeknownst to the both of them, Jassy is hiding in a dark corner of the mine with Gem’s borrowed communicator, ready to message Impulse when they can all be let out. Despite the striking white hair, she can easily avoid being seen. Anime logic)

And eventually, four hours in (Jassy is bored as hell at this point), the two finally get to actually talking. About how things changed since they left Double Life and how they drifted apart. Wes admits that he misses the server, and while he doesn’t wanna go back, he can’t help but yearn for it in a way. Jekiv talks about how he misses his dad in a weird way, and that he’s disappointed that he’s not there. Since none of the parents remember them, he hoped that they could’ve gotten a fresh start.

They talk about Hermitcraft and Empires, about how Wes wanted to leave the server because he just wasn’t happy in Gobland, and how it all freaked him out too much. Jekiv talks about how he wanted to stay because on Double Life he was weak, with being the worst fighter out of all of them, but as a Necromancer studying under Shelby he actually feels kind of powerful.

They see each other’s side. And while they can’t agree with each other about their choices, they can respect it.

Jassy let’s them out.

They all call for an official meeting in one of Scarland’s houses, and while yes they do have to trick the others into coming there, it’s important.

And so they just sit down in a circle, two of them sulking, one of them sad, and the other four ready to get this over with.

Everyone lets out their frustrations about practically everything. All they’ve been holding in for twenty years finally comes out.

Their issues with their parents, with themselves, their trauma from Double Life and their parents deaths, their regrets, their insecurities, why they either wanna stay on Hermitcraft or go back to Empires, all of it is laid out. Almost an eleven hour talk (Scar gives them snacks halfway through).

When they all grow tired they take a group nap together in a pile on the floor, Jekiv taking the time to study a spell while snuggling in Wes’ arms.

And they learn to accept that, maybe this is then end. Twenty years joined by the hip all seven, Will finally come to a close. They take solace in that at least they can visit each other all the time.

Until Grian announces that the rift is slowly closing, and if the Emperors wish to return then they better get their stuff ready and soon.

So they stand their with the rest of the member of both servers when the rifts is just big enough to squeeze a person through, all of them heartbroken.

Many goodbyes that day.

Jekiv, Novo, Johnny, Jassy, and Gert all say goodbye to their parents. While some (Johnny) are more upset than others (Novo), it’s still difficult for all of them.

Gertrude and Liana say goodbye to Doc and Pixl, their mentors.

And then…

They say goodbye to each other. Liana, Jekiv, and Novo have it difficult. They’re all besties (apart from Jekiv to Novo he can’t stand him), and all openly sob into each other’s arms.

Jassy gives Johnny a letter to give to Hermes. She was intending to say goodbye herself, but she never got the time. She also gives him her mask. Hermes always loved the thing and used to steal it to wear himself, something she did with Etho’s mask when she was a kid, so it’s something to remember her by.

Last but not least, Jekiv and Wes. The unlikely couple, forced together by someone else’s intervention, staying together out of convenience, but then keeping on going with each other out of determination and love.

They promise each other they will meet again. They will fix their code to make them able of server hopping, and then they will find each other and stay with each other for good.

And to keep that promise, Wes slips a simple golden ring on one of Jekiv’s fingers.

Then they leave through the rift just as it closes, gone.

Hopefully not for good

Summary: Kaz’s reaction to your new haircut

A/N: This is ridiculously short, sorry.

A smile spread over your face as you looked in the mirror above the sink.  Your once long hair was gone, shorn into a pixie cut.  You weren’t entirely sure what had sparked this decision, but you just wanted a change.  And your new haircut was certainly a change.  It was jarring at first to see yourself with nearly a foot less hair, but the longer you looked at yourself, the more you grew to like it.

You hadn’t told Kaz about your decision, mainly because you made the decision in a split second, so you wondered how he’d react.  Would he like it, or would he quietly judge you for cutting your hair?  He would never tell you outright that he didn’t like it, but even so, you worried over his thoughts.  When you heard the door behind you open and shut, you turned around, smiling softly.

Kaz hadn’t looked at you yet; he was pulling off his gloves, hanging his hat on a peg, leaning his cane against the dresser.  “You wouldn’t believe what I saw over on the Zelverstr–oh wow.”  He was looking at you now, eyes wide as he took in your new haircut.  “Well?” you asked, holding your hands behind your back.  “What do you think?”  Kaz only blinked, stepping a bit closer to you.

“You hate it, oh Ghezen, you hate it.  Why did I think this was a good ide–”  Kaz interrupted you by pressing his lips to yours, making you squeak with surprise.  “I don’t hate it, darling,” he said, bringing his ungloved hands to your head, ruffling the short strands.  “I love it.  You look beautiful, Y/N.  You always look beautiful, but you know what I mean.”  You laughed, leaning in to kiss him again.  “Thank you, baby.”

In this AU, Lee had to drop out of high school due to an undiagnosed illness making schoolwork impossible, no matter how hard he tried. However, he’s since gone back and gotten his GED. The default age for Lee here is 27-30. He’s currently providing for his school-aged son as a single father, managing work, his hobbies, and his disability.

ep 6-ish filming spoilers/spec. *twd comic spoilers

I rambled a lot. I also mentioned. SDCC news, Kang articles, Skybound(s9 promo pic) 

It’s a messy post. I wrote it like journal. vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

There’s filming spoilers of Eugene up on the water tower and his foot got stuck..and I guess got outta there. Also maybe a lady there..the casted lady there. Alpha? ..a crew member? idk. He’s up in the water tower similar to comic-Gabe’s uh death. 

Well in the comics, Gabe went up there to look out for any signs of a herd during/ later-ish in the Whisperer war. He’s very new to being a solider and cowardly-like...like Eugene is but not tv-Gabe (oh, also tv-Gabe is partially blind too). So, comic-Gabe saw the huge ass heard coming, freaked out and went down the ladder, his foot got caught in bottom of the ladder. And then a whisperer killed him before Gabe could warn others about the herd and whisperers that are coming to ASZ. 

I’m gonna think it’s not a remixed of that scene. What about the radio (comic Eugene)? Idk anymore.

Ep 6 sounds like a big Eugene episode or he got a lot of outside action stuff in this ep.

-thoughts-I’m thinking of the moment they introduced Georgie in s8 which the lady is similar to Pamela from the Commonwealth. I’m starting to think that TWD writers shouldn’t introduced Georgie or someone that’s similar to this Commonwealth arc in s8. So Idk in s9 the spoilers sound like stuff all from after the time jump and Whisperer War arc. Everything seems rushed. Maybe they’re remixing these plots. Some plots in other seasons were there earlier than the comic storyline. Who knows. But if Eugene has a radio and contacting Stephanie. It’s like different from the comics. The radio plot from Eguene and going to Ohio to find Stephanie -Commonwealth -Michonne’s daughter, Elodie. It was all a mystery. So meeting Georgie ruins the mystery.

-So I guess another Lintz kid will be in TWD or Matt will be teen-Henry! Maybe Henry won’t die(braces). I’m glad.. cos I think that’s important part of Carol’s story, imo.  But Idk for sure who he play as.

I'm curious. Did you guys got more info or sources that Rick died in ep 5? Or you guys speculated over on the spoilery script pic?

What if Rick gone missing (like tv-Heath)? It's something that I kind of hope for in the show with AL wanting to leave. I was hoping Rick would go missing and then Michonne and Judith go on a boat to idk Commonwealth after s9.

We don't know much on why AL is leaving and why AMC is keeping a secret and all that. We just have to wait and see.

I guess I was right? TSDF are saying some kind of craziness happening with Rick’s departure like a dumpster-gate. BUT, AL supposedly? got one episode left to film and the news is that he will exit TWD. So ...Rick is still leaving, right? :( I hope he doesn’t die. Back on rollercoaster ride..on hoping for the TWD AU to be good.

I get it now(Beth). I guess. Reason why s8 finale didn’t tease or set up for the timejump in s9 because it’s not the big time jump they wanna mention or tease about. Finale still sucked and didn’t excite me for next season. If ep 6 - time jump will happen (5 years) then I guess first 5 ish episodes are about Rick with a hair cut and yeah he’s gone. Maybe Gimple’s plan of s9 is in these 5 episodes and ep 6 is all Angela Kang’s ideas.

I’m so lost on the play of time. Maybe s9A is like FTWD’s recent half season. Idk. 9A goes half of the story is one year later and the other half is 5 years later. Or 1-5 episodes are one year later. 6-8 and on are five years later? Idk 

It’s really bad for Caryl. Idk much on storywise and filming spoilers, but I don’t think whisperers/Alpha does their thing before ep 6. So after the ep 6./5 years time jump, that means Carol ...I guess is in a romantic relationship with Zeke  in Kingdom for 5 or so years. Daryl still single cos wtf idk.. writers don’t say he’s asexual, gay, or whatever from the start. 

Like we already know but yeah really bad for Grimes family. They don’t show characters grieving over him? Michonne ofc is gonna be sad and wtf alone(?) for 5 years. Depressing. ehhh s9 is such crap for Michonne’s story. If Rick doesn’t die but gone missing or taken into the helicopter, then it reminds me of the soapy show Jane the Virgin (spoilers!!!........) where Michael “dies” and a year later he came back fine but had lost his memories and that’s why he didn’t come back earlier. Anyways, with that theory, it still wouldn’t work well with that 5 year time jump (and more). Like if maybe Michonne and Judith went a boat and found Rick after 6 years. That’s nice...? Depressing tho...uh? Then the end for TWD? lol

-5 years is a lot. TWD s1-8 was like 2 years. So...everyone and everything is so different.

ok but first, omg i just wanna see the cast interactions only. I love this lil group. (they’re like my ‘twd players’ and also it’s shippy like. Caryl, Richonne...and used to be-Gleggie)They’re main cast members and they’re like originals of the show plus JDM. But questions and answers..oh boy it’s gonna be awkward and crazy. 

eta. I heard that LC won’t be at the TWD panel. Maybe she will be at the con somewhere else? I’m not sure and it’s probably from her contract with ABC. Anyways, that’s sad...TWD fans won’t see LC at the panel for the last time.

 I realized that we’re gonna learn a lot about s9. Like confirmation on what’s gonna happen in the story. It’s gonna be crazy. They may be like Caryl is always just friends.duuuuh.durrrr.  TWD is not Rick’s story. durrr. Maybe, Rick (and Maggie) isn’t gonna diiiiiee ;) ep 5, he dies. SIGH.

I heard AL is gonna announce that’s he’s leaving the show. That’s nice, imo. I like to know if the actor will leave or not that kind of stuff. I don’t want this big surprise death or whatever.  Idk. whatever AL  want to or will do. I just want writers/AMC to treat their fans with respect.

the MJ/gwen debacle

“mary jane loved spider-man and gwen loved peter parker / gwen is the better character and love interest than mj.”

i’m sorry, i’m just tired. so i decided to make a master post once and for all bc i am over itttt.

anybody who has been following me longer than a week probably knows i despise gwen. not necessarily because of the character, but because of her fandom. BUT i am going to try my absolute best to remain professional and not let my hatred for the character seep into this. i mean... i am only human so i can’t promise i’ll be perfect, but let’s do this.

let me start this off by saying, i despise the mindset that if you don’t read the comics, you’re a lesser fan, and i despise the people who look down on people who only watch the movies. that is not what this is about. i am not trying to flex my comic book muscles at you. you’re entitled to your opinions and don’t have to justify them or be incredibly knowledgable in your opinions. but if you are only a movie fan, and find yourself spreading FALSE information about a FIFTEEN YEAR OLD inaccurate portrayal of MJ and a five year old portrayal of gwen stacy that is JUST as inaccurate (as her character in the TASM movies are heavily based off of MJ), that’s not cool. do not be that person.

so if you want to know how both relationships went down in the comics, feel free to read on. please be aware this looks like a long ass post, only because i included a lot of comic panels. if you want to just read the text then the post will move along a lot quicker.

gwendolyn maxine stacy. very first appearance in the amazing spider-man #31 with harry osborn and flash thompson. throughout this issue, gwen thinks how despite peter not being built, that he’s smart and good looking, attractive etc. peter has been in his head all day because his aunt was sick.

gwen decides to finally talk to him after thinking that he’s cute.

when peter can’t give her the time of day, she gets icy and storms off. 

some other things happen with peter, still has his mind elsewhere, and gwen stacy tries again.

not being able to handle the fact that he isn’t giving her attention, and getting mad about it. she then isn’t in the next few issues. when she does reappear, she’s revelling in the attention she is getting.

then gwen and peter’s first real interaction happens.

still icy cold towards him. then she doesn’t appear for another few issues. the next time we see her, she persist.

still no luck. she’s still angry and tells him she thinks he’s a coward.

literally all she has done so far since being introduced is be mad lmao. and then she literally just makes fun of him. i’m not even skipping scenes or anything.

sure peter could be more friendly and not so immersed with his secret identity, but you never know what’s going on with somebody, so this behaviour is just immature to me (i mean i blame the writers, but since gwen is a character written by these writers, unfortunately that’s how she is). in the next scene she’s – shocker – still mad, and even tries to slap him. to be fair, peter’s a douche in this scene too. bad bad writing.

idk if this is their way in trying to build up sexy fiery passion or something... but it was just executed so poorly. gwen was mad because peter wasn’t giving her attention so she pouted about it, and then now they are enemies? whaaat.

but i guess that interaction... somehow worked? because in the next scene she’s sticking up for him a little. so that cool of gwen, props.

over the next few issues, not much happens with her. she either just appears and doesn’t say anything, or thinks about peter, or they flirt a little bit like this:

so that was issue #31 to issue #41. 10 issues. of gwen being mad at peter for not paying attention to her, and them starting to flirt a bit when he finally did. 

then in issue #42, mary jane watson is brought up, and gwen is not too please about it, gets pissed off, and takes it out on flash.

peter fights some baddies, goes back home, and then the iconic face it tiger scene with mary jane watson happens 11 issues after gwen’s first appearance.

the next issue we get to take a look at how the blind date is going and... let me warn you....... mary jane talks so fucking weird/funny oh my god. these comics do not age well. her lingo makes me cringe but i love her anyways. what we gather from this is that she’s fun and peter is smitten with her. she’s easy going and is taking drama classes.

she’s care free and doesn’t take herself too seriously.

then rhino stuff happens and peter is thinking of a way to bail on mj, but then she suggests they hop on his motorcycle and drive down to the action to see it for themselves. 

so then pete blows her off cause he has to do spidey things and when they reunite, mj isn’t mad about it, and they actually make plans to hang out some more.

he then bumps into flash, harry and gwen, and they give him a hard time and peter compares gwen to mj, saying that he bet mj wouldn’t stand by like gwen did when flash was bullying him.

the next issue they’re all hanging together, studying, and mj walks in, and they all meet her for the first time.

the first thing mj actually does is address gwen, being perfectly pleasant. then she takes peter away on a date, and gwen gets jealous and takes it out on flash.

peter becomes very smitten with mj.

but then peter cancels their plans on her twice in a row and she doesn’t get mad at all. she just stays chill about it. but she ends up making other plans, and peter sees her and harry out to go to the disco, and peter is an ass.

over the next bit they all hang out together, peter and mj are flirty, gwen is finally letting her hair down a bit and dancing. they’re all becoming pals!

then peter wants gwen again bc peter can’t make up his fkin mind clearly, and gwen is the one to blow him off this time. the good thing is, she’s being nice about mary jane at least! i do like how they are friends in the comics.

peter goes back and forth on gwen and mj for multiple issues, they both clearly like him back. nothing too groundbreaking to share as of yet. i’m just thankful for mj and gwen’s friendship. i hate how people forget that when pitting the girls against each other.

this is pretty much one of the only times it’s mentioned that gwen is into science tho...

then peter and mj are hanging, and gwen shows up.

gwen says something very interesting in the panel above. peter jokes wondering if mj is ever serious, and gwen says “far more often than she’d like you to suspect, mr. p”. this kind of foreshadows mj’s actual character, how she’s a party girl, flaky, care free, and it’s all a mask. because in reality, she had an awful, abusive home life, and not being serious is how she copes with that. so that was insightful on gwen’s part, or just some forshadowing from the writers.

not much happens for a few issues. then peter and gwen have their first kiss.

then a baddie tries to use mj as a shield, and peter saves her. she’s the first to swing with spidey! and then mj jokes about it and brushes it off because she’s strong af.

then peter and captain stacy got in a kerfuffle and they were fighting, and cap stacy was about to whack peter with his cane, but peter’s spider senses wet off and knocked cap stacy to the ground. gwen ran in and saw it, and got mad at peter.

not much happens for awhile. everyone is so preoccupied with their own problems. peter can’t stop thinking of gwen, she is still mad at him, etc etc.

it’s funny bc the readers were preferring mj at this time despite them trying to make the peter/gwen thing a thing, so stan lee made mj get a god awful, ugly haircut in hopes it would make people like gwen more.

still lots of drama with gwen’s dad, gwen is still not talking to peter, but they both think of each other, mj isn’t in the comics for a bit.

but then gwen’s dad finally tells gwen what happened so then they’re all good again.

so then they’re good. they’re dating again. but this happens lmao

then gwen gets mad at him later on for constantly disappearing. while gwen does get mad too often, i agree with her on this because peter is very flaky (for good reason, but she doesn’t know that).

mary jane is MIA from the comics for a long time and the non spidey scenes normally just consist of gwen and peter being good for a little bit and then inevitably fighting again over something dumb.

more of just contant on n off again, happy n pissed off at each other, etc etc, i think the writers were out of ideas lol. THEN 17 FREAKING ISSUES LATER MJ FINALLY RETURNS. with better hair.

then peter and gwen are really good and in love, then gwen and peter get hit by a truck, peter doesn’t visit gwen in the hospital till later cause of spidey stuff, gwen gets mad at him for it. LOTS OF BACK AND FORTH GOD DAMN.

then it finally got enough and in a frenzy peter tells everyone he’s spider-man, and gwen does not take the news well.

but then at the end of the issue he says he had the flu and didn’t mean what he said and gwen was happy again.

but then peter was with cap stacy when he died, and people blamed spider-man for captain stacy’s dead.

resulting in gwen hating spider-man because she blamed him for her father’s death.

then gwen says she’s gonna move to london to live w/ her uncle. and peter doesn’t want her to go. and they say i love you and it’s sweet, but then she mentions how she hates peter’s other half again.

gwen goes to london and they breakup.

all throughout the comic there’s always little things like this where it’s very clear mj is into peter. she never even remotely talks about spider-man, it’s always about peter.

but gwen is still peter’s high school sweetheart and he still loves her and thinks about her, and she him.

so she comes back to new york.

then they’re in looooove. but there’s not much content of them being together n happy for the next few issues, it’s mainly just spidey fighting bad guys. then when she does come back peter is rude n lies to her and then gwen is sad again.

THEN THEY’RE FINE AGAIN GJDSKSGJDKG I CAN’T KEEP TRACK

okay you guys it honestly goes back and forth so much. they’re good, then they’re awful, they’re good, then they’re awful. so i’m not going to be providing those panels anymore because i think you get the idea that it’s pretty unstable.

she does stick up for peter though, which is pretty awesome.

but then

the time has come

where gwen dies

and then one of the most iconic peter/mj moments happen. peter lashes out at mj because he’s broken about gwen’s death, but despite mj being flighty due to her abusive upbringing, she sticks around anyways.

they originally had her rushing over at the end to hug him, but instead changed it to her just closing the door because that held more weight.

she’s there for him.

mj sticks up for peter and harry, but she’s treated like shit by yet another man.

and here you can see very well how mj really wants to be there for peter, but then her guard is up because all she knows is men treating her like trash. and to prevent anyone getting close to her so they can hurt her, she pushes them away and doesn’t let them in.

but the death of gwen do make them grow and look after each other, getting closer to each other for wanting to be there for each other.

gwen’s death still heavily on peter’s mind, though.

the thing i don’t get about the whole ‘mj only loved spider-man not peter parker’ argument is that MJ WAS SO FUCKIN OBVIOUS ABOUT HER INFATUATION WITH PETER ALL THE TIME AND NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT SPIDER-MAN EVER?

but i love these panels below so, so much. really shows how hard it is for mary jane to let people in/admit her feelings. but it’s very clear she does love him, but peter isn’t emotionally available yet.

except despite them both being stubborn about their feelings, they grow closer and closer.

but peter’s still haunted by gwen.

but then peter and mj have their first kiss, and it changes everything forever.

gwen comes back as a clone, and then this happens.

but then after they depart, this immediately happens, and this has been confirmed that mj and peter solidified their relationship ~*by doin it*~ and it was peter’s first time.

and then thinking of her gives him the strength to fight back.

and then their relationship grows more and more very beautifully, mj letting peter in, peter letting her in. mj finally tells peter she knows he’s spider-man, so she’s the only one who understand that part of his life.

Going to the hairdresser is a different experience for everybody, and I’m sure it doesn’t always count as bad for spoonies (in fact, some people love it), but for me it’s A Nightmare™, NOT because of the hairstylists (they’re so great I don’t even tell them what I want because whatever they do to my hair is good), but mainly because the process itself is (a bit of) sensory hell. The pain in your neck while they’re washing your hair is awful and contributes greatly to my already bad instability. Then there is that obnoxious thing covering you and messing up your temperature. The scissors sound is (obviously) not rhythmic so you can’t focus on it and get relaxed, because it’s always interrupting your attempts to stop paying attention to them. The hairdryers are just plain hell: they are too hot on your skin, they make too much noise, they are unpleasant to your eyes, etc. I feel a little overwhelmed every time I go get a haircut and I spend the rest of the day recovering from the experience, BUT: I love my hair so much when it’s freshly cut, so I still go there quite a lot. Maybe it’s because I can’t stand the other sensory hell that starts happening when your hair is longer than that certain length… \sigh//… Anyway: I love my hair right now!! It’s so pretty!
