my newest agent is in fact a duo: chiss engineer egrun and vaer droid creation, LE-01, an assassin droid created with a mix of chiss and gree technology! egrun’s obsession w gree tech led to vaer experimenting for many years before finally creating ellie, who promptly caused so much trouble egrun was exiled from chiss space. they fake their way into intelligence with the help of an old chiss friend.

*ellie is a little shit and v full of 🤖self; in-universe, in the ultimate power move, 🤖s pronouns are a holo of ellie dancing, projected mid-conversation (it pleases 🤖 to no end that 🤖s pronouns are more convenient for droids).

but since i cant literally make that into an emoji, 🤖 will have to do.

LE-01's performance on Hutta was better than anticipated, and is hereby approved for further fieldwork.

However, most handlers are retired field agents, and as such are already equipped with the skills and knowledge to effectively guide their agent. Since you two work well as a unit, you will accompany LE-01 in the field until I have deemed your experience sufficient for the role.

the fun thing about playing a droid-organic duo is that, at any time, i can slap the droid armour on a companion and hey presto! egrun and ellie get to run around fighting side by side :3

hm. for the first time.... ever, all of my fic wips are for fandoms im no longer rly actively in, except for a single murderbot!au ellie & egrun. and i haven't started any new fics for a full 11 months
