Tim, its hard to explain without a full paragraph but he was mean and selfish. Do not get me wrong. i am not saying that none of it was justified but hear me out.

Tim was also traumatized af but in season two he was mad at John for the paranoia (fair) because he thought John was just being paranoid. But in season three he was still mad at him for that and for the fact that he couldn’t quit his job. Yes John is the reason he was offered the job but he said yes and neither of them could know about the weird shit attached to it.

ALSO John was right. Two of his suspects were murderous monsters. Yes Martin and Tim were innocent but Elias one of John suspects did in fact kill Gertrude (and have plans for jon that would end up hurting and traumatizing him). And Sasha was a Shapeshifting monster (THAT WANTED TO KILL JON).

Honestly I was confused in season 3 on why Tim hated Jon as much as he did. And i was more angry when he decided to be spiteful to him even when he thought was he was doing was going to kill them both (because idk if he knew the eye would save jon) with the season 3 finale.

Tim in season 1 is one of my favorites. Tim in season 2 is still understandable. Tim is season 3 is self centered and unreasonable.

(Also his snappiness with martin got on my fucking nerves. Martin never tried to do anything but help and Tim acted like he was part of the problem. Martin yelling at him in season 2 finale was so satisfying)

Sorry again for rant i have just been reading a lot of tma on ao3 and none of them address this and instead have just jon apologize to tim. both of them should be apologizing. :/

This is anger at tim yes! but! i do not hate him. i have no idea how i would even begin to handle the situation he was put in.

dick How I feel about this character: hands down, my favorite former robin. the first teen sidekick and if i wasn’t a lesbian, he’d be the love of my life. All the people I ship romantically with this character: ugh there’s way too many so i’ll list my top five. barbara, koriand’r, wally, midnighter, and roy. My non-romantic OTP for this character: donna !!!My unpopular opinion about this character: he’s way more developed than both comics and the fanbase give him credit for. he’s more than just a happy dude who loves cereal and his family and i really wish fans would embrace his full complexity. One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: i want him to get married and have kids in the mainstream continuity.

jason How I feel about this character: traumatized boy,,,,,,my son,,,,,,,,,,im full of love and gay/lesbin solidarity. All the people I ship romantically with this character: i have a lot of ships for him too but i’m only gonna go for my top two. roy and kyle. My non-romantic OTP for this character: jay and steph !! My unpopular opinion about this character: he did fucked up things and shouldn’t be absolved of them just because of his trauma (which is still valid af). basically the embodiment of “cool motive. still murder”One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: he gets actual therapy and help !!

My non-romantic OTP for this character: jason babey !!! also tim lol My unpopular opinion about this character: she IS one of the former robins and deserves to be treated better both by canon AND by fandom One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: she had been allowed to be robin for more than like a month

damian How I feel about this character: angrey son,,,,,,, All the people I ship romantically with this character: none. he’s a babey. My non-romantic OTP for this character: jon!! colin!!! maps!!!!!! My unpopular opinion about this character: let him grow. stop restarting his emotional growth. let him get better with people. The Punisher SEASON 1 thoughts

Just finished up my second viewing of the show

SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT OK

first and foremost Jon Bernthal was simply flawless, it has been a DAMN long time since I grew so attached to a character and their story

which leads me into episode 12, the episode in which I cried like a baby because

A. Billy’s betrayal hurt ok it HURT me they were BEST FRIENDS and BROTHERS IN ARMS his family LOVEd Billy and BILLY BETRAYED HIM ugh 

B. Frank asking if he knew, Billy said yes, Frank shed those two tears and NO NO I DONT EVER WANT TO SEE FRANK CASTLE CRY I LITERALLY COULDNT BREATHE

C. The torture scene, like dont touch me;; I’ve never had to pause a tv show because i couldnt hear the dialogue over my sobs before;; i was hurting SO BAD for Frank like FUCK

i loved Curtis more and more each episode, he was really there for a lot of characters, trying to help himself by helping them and I mean DAMN that is selfless as fuck 

lewis was a ticking time bomb waiting to go off

BILLY WAS A FUCKING SNAKE BUT HE WAS SO GREAATTT;; him and frank had an ELECTRIC dynamic as well;; when he cut frank’s zip ties i literally gasped YAAAAAAAAAS

gun violence was explored on both sides, and I appreciate that;; it doesnt shy into or away from anything and that’s important

micro and frank r u joking?? their friendship was EVERYTHING;; you can track it over the course of the season but like...micro knew just how to talk to frank, how to get through to him. he was gentle when dealing with him, mostly patient and their energies really balanced each other. moments that stick out

- even when he’s zip tied to a chair, he’ still friendly, understanding even with frank;; after he drugs him with his pencil and frank wakes up, micro has left a *loaded* gun in Franks hand on his chest because he knows thats something that frank needs to feel safe. thats next level understanding shit

- he calls frank out when frank avoids things, directly saying to him things like “yeah thats right blow me off”

- episode 11, micro asking repeatedly for frank to let him stitch him up, then using those moments where frank does drop his guard while he stitches his head up to ask about his well being

- micro went from “we’re not blood brothers” to transfusing blood to Frank 

- episode 12 again, “my friend is dying” ugh dont touch me “YOU SCARY BEAUTIFUL MAN THATS RIIIGHTT” 

- the moose dick scene because wow

- “purple is your color it matches your eyes” wow

KASSSSSSSTTTTTTTTLLLLLEEEEEEEEE

THEIR CHEMISTRY IS NO FUCKING JOKE

NONE

and honestly I was suuuuper overprotective of frank when they first hit it off in DD season 2 but Ive really warmed up to her

and damnit if they continue on with the chemistry like this, this could be one of the best slow burn romances ever maybe, no lie

Dinah really grew on me the longer we spent with her, but i wasn’t sure what her mom had to do with anything, besides i guess giving her someone to interact with that wasnt sam or billy the snake

it was a SLOW BURN and i guess i get how some people arent into that but that’s my kind of shit;; i LOVE it. the character building, the world building that led up to the final episodes that made the payoff worth everything. maybe i was the only one who DIDNT feel like their was any filler. I felt no time was wasted. but like i said, SLOW BURN.

so good, my favorite marvel series to date and i cant wait for season 2~

can you explain the batfam to me because a lot of people are obsessed with these boys and like ??? i don't understand ?? i feel like i would enjoy becoming apart of this fandom but idk enough about it, please help.

alfred pennyworth is the tired butler/father of everyone. kicks ass and does put up with shit.

we’ve got big brooding, heart of gold bruce who love each of his kids

dick grayson was the first robin, was part of the teen titans and later gave up the mantle of robin to become nightwing. died but not really. became agent 37

barbara gordon was the first batgirl, daughter of commissioner gordon. something happened witht he joker (don’t fucking read the killing joke or watch the movie, there are comics that deal with it better) that left her paralyzed from the waist down. she became oracle and teamed up with dinah lance

jason todd is the second robin. he’s a nerd and loves school and reading. he was a good robin dont listen to the ppl that say otherwise. he died at the hands of the joker. fuck the joker. barbara and jason need to team up and beat the shit out of the joker and preferably kill him. there’s an au (arkham knight) where jason lives and was kept by the joker and tortured by him for a year (i think, it’s been awhile since i read those comics). but anywhom,,.. jason todd becomes the red hood and teams up with arsenal and starfire,,.. (the new 52 run of rhato was not,,,. good, rebirth is better) in rebirth he teams up with artemis and bizzaro,,.. died but got better

tim drake the third robin. smart as hell but hates school. he found out that bruce wayne was batman and basically blackmailed him lmao. he became red robin and joined the teen titans. he’s in love with kon-el. hes dead but not dead dead. part of batman incorporated currently

stephanie brown was a robin in some runs but is more known as batgirl. i dont actually know a lot about her but she gives me lesbian vibes. in batman incorporated 

cassandra cain is the third batgirl and i would fucking die for her. she doesnt talk much but she loves bruce, barbara and stephanie. she was adopted by bruce wayne and is a killing machine and probably one of the best fighters in the batfam. like. top five. top three. part of batman incorporated 

damian wayne is the son of bruce wayne and talia al ghul. he was trained to take over the league of assassins. struggles with killing and following bruces code of not killing. he crushes a bat and a firefly whoops, but then a bird lands in his hand and he watches it fly off. is a vegetarian- or a vegan i cant remember which one- and adopts animals. has a giant dragon demon thing called goliath and loves him a lot. dick grayson is his favorite sibling. will kick anyones ass. works witht he teen titans in rebirth and with supermans son, jon kent who is superboy (let jon have his older brother kon u fuckign cowards)

helena bertinelli is huntress. idk a lot abt her but i know she’s probably gay. she kicks ass and has a crossbow. like the color purple maybe?

kate kane is bruce wayne’s jewish, lesbian ex-marine cousin. she kicks ass and takes names. has probably the most amount of girlfriends in the dc universe. part of batman incorporated 

duke thomas recently became a robin. he’s cute and sweet and i’ve only just started reading comics with him in it. will report when i learn more abt his character 

luke fox is batwing. son of lucius fox. smat as hell. trained in mma and cage fighting. still new to his character. part of batman incorporated.

tldr; the batfam is a bunch of crime fighting assholes that love each other (most of them anyway) and a lot of them have “died”
