#Isumi is the perfect sad boy wrapped up in a tough exterior

I'm not sure if Sugar Dog Life is color coded, but . . .
Tumblr media
I do find it interesting that Isumi, who is so sad to eat alone and gets drunk to cope, wears blue for most of the first episode.
Tumblr media
The boy is really in his feels and masks it with a tough exterior.
Tumblr media
All because he really hates being alone.
Tumblr media
And it even shows at work, which would make him the perfect Blue Boy.
Tumblr media
So I like the idea of this cop, dressed in black, rescuing him one drunken night,
Tumblr media
And turning out to be a Heavenly Human.
Tumblr media
I just think that would be a nifty color-coded story.
Tumblr media
But it's barely the first episode, so I have to wait and see if there really are colors in this soft story of food bringing two men together.
Tumblr media
Either way, I like it!

I'm petty, so I didn't write about Sugar Dog Life last week because Isumi wore a Texas A & M shirt.
Tumblr media
But also, I still wasn't sure about Isumi's color.
Tumblr media
Because it felt like he might be red in the second episode.
Tumblr media
But that's a lie because his blue pillowcase and sheets say otherwise!
Tumblr media
So I'm sticking to my original theory that Isumi is a Blue Boy and Amasawa is a Black Brooder.
Tumblr media
Their phones support this theory.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, in the fourth episode, Isumi was back to his blue self.
Tumblr media
Even while he was being super kind to his junior, he was blue.
Tumblr media
In fact, he was so kind to her, she started to like him and even picked up his blue.
Tumblr media
And Amasawa will wear blue next week on their "date"? (Is a date or am I being played again like Isumi?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So Isumi is blue! He is a Blue Boy. Good for him.
Tumblr media
But it feels weird that the guy who smiles all the time is a Black Brooder.
Tumblr media
But even when Isumi pictures Amasawa, he sees him in black, so Amasawa has to be black, no?
Tumblr media
But what secrets does this man possess? Where is the brooding part of this Black Brooder? He's too happy. It's odd.
Tumblr media
Just like the little dogs he gets that remind him of Isumi and himself.
Tumblr media
Basically, I want to know why this man is color-coded black.
Tumblr media
What secrets do you hold, sir? TELL ME!

Sugar Dog Life better quit acting shy and give me *the* scene next episode.
Tumblr media
Because Black Brooder (?) Amasawa is being an entire thirst trap in the sixth episode!
Tumblr media
He is opening the door half naked, he is walking in on Isumi in the bathroom, and he is giving Isumi his clothes to wear even when Isumi has his own clothes.
Tumblr media
Just so he can wear that exact shirt a day later when they eat dinner together.
Tumblr media
He is giving Isumi a key to his place with a little police dog on it.
Tumblr media
Which matches his key.
Tumblr media
Because he will not let up on this ridiculous dog thing he has going!
Tumblr media
But this would all make sense since he is allowing Blue Boy Isumi to sleep at his place in a blue bed right next to him as an act of kindness since Isumi's apartment has a leak.
Tumblr media
Yet . . . it feels so much more significant blue.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I hadn't noticed how blue Amasawa's apartment really is.
Tumblr media
And that's because it hadn't been this blue. Not until Isumi showed up at least.
Tumblr media
I cannot pinpoint Amasawa's color because sometimes he seems black and secretive, and other times he feels neutral and oblivious.
Tumblr media
But it's clear that Isumi is a sensitive and loyal Blue Boy.
Tumblr media
So him being around Amasawa, living in his apartment, making him meals, saying goodnight, and handing him umbrellas as he leaves in the morning has to have some effect on Amasawa.
Tumblr media
Because if Amasawa is an entire thirst trap this episode . . .
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then what is our Blue Boy?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our Blue Boy is overextending himself staying awake and making Amasawa's the best food to eat when he comes home from a long shift.
Tumblr media
He is packing Amasawa the best meals to eat at work in little blue containers that make his co-workers jealous.
Tumblr media
Amasawa is aware of how much effort Isumi is putting in around the house to thank Amasawa for letting him stay there which causes him to feel guilt.
Tumblr media
But is Amasawa aware how much this Blue Boy really cares for him even without this living arrangement?
Tumblr media
Is Amasawa even aware how much he cares for that Blue Boy?
Tumblr media
Because when Isumi's best friend patted him like Amasawa usually does,
Tumblr media
Amasawa went through several emotions in just a few seconds.
Tumblr media
So, once again, does Amasawa realize how much bluer his life is with Isumi in it?
Tumblr media
Because he not only let this Blue Boy into his apartment, but also into his bed.
Tumblr media
So is he also in his heart?

Last week, I declared Isumi was a sensitive and smart Blue Boy!
Tumblr media
I also stated Amasawa was a Black Brooder, but I forgot to mention he is an idiot as well, and the fifth episode of Sugar Dog Life solidified that.
Tumblr media
Amasawa is throwing out all these lovey-dovey signals and WEARING ISUMI'S COLOR, yet has no idea the effect he has on Isumi.
Tumblr media
But, thankfully, Isumi has good friends who support him and encourage him to keep going.
Tumblr media
Even though Amasawa is the dumbest Black Brooder EVER as he asks Isumi to stay with him and walks around LIKE THIS!
Tumblr media
Next week, the colors will be coloring, so I'm also hoping Amasawa's brain cells are brain-celling and he figures out that he likes Isumi just as much as Isumi likes him because there is no heterosexual reason for him to hold Isumi in bed as they fall asleep in their colors.
Tumblr media
Do you hear me, Amasawa?!
