i think i can speak for pretty much all authors, that everything we write we put at least a little effort into. I get my friends to beta for me even tho im extremely embarrassed, it means that much to me to have perfect grammar! I spell check a million times, I check my email all the time for kudos and comments, i keep my projects under wraps so that i wont get unmotivated, etc. hell, i even read a fic where the author wrote in their native language and then later translated before posting!! Even if we wrote it passed out drunk at least drunk author brain said “oooh lookie!! Write write” no fic gets formulated without effort. I just want you to know that we all take the effort, even if it might not seem like it to you.
