Dream Daddy: Robert x Dadsona (Preview)

So yo, I have a lot of feelings and decided why tf not? I like to think i’m good at writing (punctuation aside cause ha) and decided to put my feelings into a fic. I’m using my Dadsona for this fic //finger guns to the moon

You come to the pier, the smell of water and sounds of the gulls, easing the feeling in your gut. He needed your help...it was the only reason you were here, or so you kept telling yourself. What would happen once you were on the yacht?

"So you decided to come after all huh?" You jump, turning to lock eyes with the man next to you. Slightly unnerved by his sudden appearance. "Robert?...What are you.." Guilt claws at your chest, voice tapering off into silence. "Doing here?" He finishes the sentence for you, eyes narrowing. "I could ask you the same, don't you think?" You take note of his hands, how tightly they are clenched at his side. He's..angry?

"I'm here to see Joseph. He wanted to talk and-" Robert huffs, stance becoming a bit more tense. "Talk huh? Is that what they're calling affairs now?" The accusation is sudden, leaving you a little stunned. Anger replaces the surprise soon enough. "We're just friends, Robert. I didn't come here to sleep with him" Is what you want to say, but even you are starting to second guess if it's the truth or not. So you settle on- "We're just friends..." Instead. It sounds weak even to your ears. "Friends? I didn't know friends went on private outings. On a yacht". That jab hits a little too hard, making your face flush with shame. "Joseph is a bad guy. I don't trust him and I don't want you around him; but that doesn't matter huh? Not like you actually care how I feel". His voice is low and hostile. For a moment, you think he might throw a punch; but Robert isn't like that. "That's..all I came here for I.." You stare into Roberts eyes, see the cold indifference there, and something breaks.
