Solution!💾

I created a transform matrix that updates the (x,y) position of the character no matter where it moves on the screen ✅

As the red box updates so does the green box. I then use the green box to do the collision detection. See the video below:

To do:

create collision areas for interacting with piano and art wall🔲

I made the images from this post with 32x32px tiles but I think the game might be better in 64x64px

This is just the beginning of the project, all of these might change when we refine the concept

HEY remember earlier today when i said i wanted to learn pixel art? well i decided to try and make a lil isometric bedroom and uhhhhh

I did it! I'm quite happy with it considering it's my first attempt at an isometric view. I've played with pixel art a bit in the past but nothing much, and never something like this. so yeah. It was also generally really fun and relaxing so i will definitely be doing more of these <3 <3
