14. what was something that you used to draw a lot that you don’t draw as much anymore? OH GOD i used to draw so much homestuck fanart. Alas i have long since moved on to other communities but it still has a stranglehold on my brain,,,

OH also closed species from deviantart.. i used to draw them SO much, you can still see elements in my art style from then! (swirls at wing joints come to mind, shoutout to isomara island for single handedly shaping how i draw wings!)

Okay not going to lie I LOVE how this came out! I decided to focus less on detail and more on the fealing of the piece while also doing some really wild experiments with the stile. I drew a lot of inspiration from Classical japanese painting and from modern japanese pop art and the effect is rather stunning.

The longer I stare at them, the more i realize isos are literally knock off dutch angel dragons. After all the founder is known for tracing art and stealing ideas, wouldn't be surprised if they stole the very concept for their sub-par broken anatomy trash species from there.

There are plenty of species communities that accept any quality artist. the cs Isomara allow any type of artist and writers and do not care if someone is a hq artist. that group actually values all members and the owner even will give people tips and help people improve if they want.
