Do you have preferences in their engagement rings?(me being a dork in the fashion & jewelry) Since we got the glimpse of their wedding themes & the girl's beautiful gowns. Thank you so much!
Omg yes! I love this type of stuff! I’m putting these in chronological order based on the On Casual Commitments verse (Ryoko was the first of the 92nd generation to get married and Yuki was the last) because I need to refer back to some of the descriptions in that fic.
Ryoko
Shun and Ryoko got married only a few years out of school. They didn’t have much money, and were saving to buy a house, but he still wanted her to get her a really nice ring. Shun had good taste (and a little help from Yoshino Yuki) and managed to buy Ryoko a ring that looked a lot more expensive than it was. The band is white gold, which looks a lot like platinum and costs less, and the stone is a 3/4 carat diamond. It only cost him around $900, but it looks like it came from Tiffany’s.
Tumblr media
Alice
Ryo was in a fortunate position when it came time to buy Alice an engagement ring because he’s been watching her buy jewelry for almost two decades already. He knew that Alice loves to show off, and would want a ring that tells the entire world what a spoiled (and loved) ojou-san she is. Every millimeter of this Cartier masterpiece is encrusted with diamonds, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Tumblr media
Megumi
The ring Takumi proposes with is an heirloom that has been in the Aldini family for at least three generations. It’s a bit simpler than a lot of modern engagement rings, and has a less expensive central stone, but he felt like a more understated piece would suit her tastes. He was right. Megumi loves the ring and hopes it will stay in their family for a long time.
Tumblr media
Ikumi
So...Isami and Ikumi eloped. Isami picked out the ring on his own, and being a little mischievous, he bought her a ring that is in conversation with the family heirloom that he would never be given for a woman his parents didn’t approve of. The rose gold and floral setting appealed to Ikumi’s secret girly side, while the stunning diamonds represent the boss lady in her.
Tumblr media
Hisako
A big part of the Akisako romance arc was Akira feeling that he needed to go out into the world and make his fortune before he could be with Hisako. By the time he proposes to her, he is a self made multi-millionaire, so he sets out to get her the best ring money can buy. Because he knows Hisako’s style is more reserved, he wanted something that was elegant and not too flashy, but the Tiffany three-stone ring ended up clocking in at over $86,000.
Tumblr media
Erina
While the world was still reeling from Hisako’s expensive ass ring, Souma realized that he needed to get it together and propose to Erina. He thought that the only way to avoid underwhelming her was to get something with a black diamond. From the beginning, their relationship had centered on a tension between the old and the new, the established elite and the avant-gard. A ring that features an unconventional center stone, but more classic settings, represented their relationship nicely. Erina loved it from the start.
Tumblr media
Yuki
So...Zenji actually broke his engagement to another woman when he realized he still loved Yuki, so he knew when it came time to propose he would have to outdo his previous proposal. Ultimately, he decided to get her a ring from a Disney-inspired collection because he knows she loves fairy tales and feeling like a princess. He splurged on the ring, spending almost $5,000 on it, but he was fine with this because Yuki is worth it and he usually doesn’t spend much money.

Shokugeki no Soma: The Next Gen (PART 2)
Part 1 // (Disclaimer: Pictures are made with Picrew)
Isami Aldini - Mito Ikumi
Tumblr media
Sota Enrico Aldini ♂
The one who rebuilt Don RS into an empire when it was a mess after Ikumi graduated. Since Ikumi has been preparing him for this his whole life, Donburi becomes Sota’s specialty.
Experiments with a lot of Southeast Asian flavors into his donburi such as salted egg, kaffir lime, and bird’s eye chili.
Ironically, unlike his twin sister, doesn’t take spicy food too well-- if too much chili is used, would sweat endlessly, tongue would swell, so he once paid Yukihira Jin to be his taste tester and set his heat to a perfect standard.
The first Don RS member ever to make it into Elite Ten. Boy makes history, and both parents proud.
Is a serious guy most of the time and don’t get most of Isami’s dad jokes, but when he starts teasing his twin sister, Sota can’t help but be amused.
Tumblr media
Sora Erica Aldini ♀
Isami’s little princess with makeup and cute designer skirts, but could kick assholes in the shin if they try to put a finger on her like Ikumi.
Is Hayama Kana’s best friend, partner-in-crime, ride-or-die.
Started cooking with Italian food, but as she experimented more, she fell in love with Mexican food which became her specialty.
Unlike her twin brother Sota, Sora can take extreme heat. Always add more chili to her Korean spicy noodle, and could last without a drink in between.
Besides cooking, sports also have always been in her interest. Sora joined a local karate club and always practice after school.
Tsukasa Eishi - Kobayashi Rindou
Tumblr media
Tsukasa Oda ♂
Loves spending time with Uncle Kuga and thanks to him, he fell in love with the art of dim sum and found that his fingers are keen to craft beautiful dumplings.
Like Eishi, Oda is a true perfectionist. Has a very high standard and treat his cooking like a work of art, but does take a leap of faith every now and then.
Though he only takes risks during practice so if it doesn't pay off, no soul would ever find out his failure.
His dumplings are too pretty to eat because he can create it into any shapes such as flamingo, unicorn, roses, etc. That's why everyone called him 'The Magic Fingers'.
Actually hates French cooking. Oda thinks it's way too strict and stressful. Is also terrified with beasts Rindou brings home to cook.
But he will always be Mama's boy and will always try to impress Rindou with his food.
Marco Aldini, the art lover, is a fan of his work (also thinks Oda is a stud).
Isshiki Satoshi - Kinokuni Nene
Tumblr media
Kinokuni Tsuki ♀
Although taking most of Nene’s features, Tsuki has her father’s big-dick, the life of a party kind of energy… times two.
It surprises everyone in the Polar Star Dorm how the girl parties like an animal until 3 am with lots Aunt Ryoko’s regular supply of rice juice, but could get up to garden at 7 am as if she’s been sleeping like a baby.
Dyes her hair every two weeks. Mostly in similar shades, but she needs a lot of dynamic and changes in her life in order to function.
Like Isshiki, Tsuki only cooks with local, homegrown ingredients. From starch to herbs, she would make no exception. She always says this is why she has a lot of energy.
Her favorite ingredient is potato. Tsuki knows all things potato-- their kinds, how they are grown, and 100+ ways to cook it.
Nene’s cold soba noodles > everything else.
Marui Zenji - Yoshino Yuki
Tumblr media
Marui Yuriko ♀
Daddy’s little genius. Interested in the science behind baking at first, which became her specialty in a blink. Yuriko bakes bread, cupcakes, cookies, pretty pastries, pies, you name it all. PSD always has the best-smelling dorm because of her.
Has Zenji’s eyesight, but Yuki thinks glasses are outdated, so she convinced Yuriko to put on contact lenses.
She and Tsuki’s girly sleepover routines include dyeing each other’s hair or drawing cute temporary tattoos on each other.
If somebody asks her what would go great with her baked goods, she would always answer, “Tea… Well, figuratively speaking.”
Being an observer that she is, Yuriko knows almost everybody’s business without having to ask. She knows Jin once made out with Sora, or that secret fling between Alicia and Sota.
Actually the first person to realize that Marco is gay and attracted to Jin. She confronted him, but would never be a jerk to out him to the world.
She never actually spill the tea to anyone beside Zenji (definitely won’t tell Yuki since she’d be telling everyone). Because at some point, she knew she had to let it out of her chest, and her father’s response would most likely be, “Whose son is this Sota guy again?”
Ibusaki Shun - Sakaki Ryoko
Tumblr media
Ibusaki Baltasar Abel ♂
Since both Ryoko and Shun agreed to raise their son with faith, Abel grew up as a Christian. He won’t call himself a religious person, but at least he goes to church every Sunday and prays mindfully before he eats and sleeps.
Knows how to smoke ingredients as a way to preserve them, but is more obsessed with fermenting food and can make pickles out of everything. Abel also makes his own yeast which Yuriko always uses for her baked goods.
Along with Yuriko and Tsuki, they sell Polar Star Dorm homegrown and homemade products like vegetables, eggs, fresh baguettes, and his signature kimchi online which keeps their dorm nice and well-taken care of. Totsuki members get discounts, obviously.
Tries to keep his crush on Sora Aldini under the radar, but his dorm members think it’s pretty obvious mainly because they found his unsent love letters.
Surprisingly gets along with Kurokiba Athena and bonds over their love for Iron Maiden.
Edited on 03/06/2019: Apparently, @yourmoontothenightsky‘s Yuki and Marui fanchild is also named Marui Michiko, so since I’m late to the party (and frankly had poor researching skill), had to tweak her name and a bit of her look. Thank you for personally messaging me and reminds me so nicely <3

So the next set of aesthetics for @wishingforatypewriter
This time Isabella Mito-Aldini and Yuna Marui, who I both find very interesting. Especially how contrasting the two are. I want to know more about them :)
Once again, I hope I did okay.
Another thing, in Yuna’s case my Germanness and my Nerdness kicked a little in, I have to admit that. And I hope you don’t mind.
The statue in her set is a statue of Goethe and Schiller. The statue stands in Weimar and is also the symbol of the town. Thing is, I asked @wishingforatypewriter if Yuna might be into German literature because of her specializing in German cuisine and she accepted the headcanon. Now, Weimar is pretty much the ultimate nerd city for everyone who has at least a little interest in German literature. It’s where Goethe lived and Goethe is to German literature what Shakespeare is to English literature perhaps. But it’s also a very historic town and also very beautiful (I’ve been there) and I’ll shut up now, but I just wanted to explain that so no one’s gonna be like: “What the-?” ;w; I hope you don’t mind this. Also I take German Advanced Course and I am a huge nerd about all of this ;w;
Also Schwarzwald Cake.

Hii!! I love your blog and I really wanted to know what you creative minds would think off for this: Headcanons for SoRina, TakuMegu, RyoAli, AkiSako, IsaIku, IbuRyo, MarYu, MimaNao aaand as a little extra EiRin in an AU where the Dudes are Vampires, please? I could understand if not, tough (≧‿≦)
…YES. VAMPIRES. Ahhhhhhhh!
SoRina:
Soma loves bothering Erina about wanting to taste her blood.
Like he’ll just gently lick her neck or nape and ask for one little bite.
Erina though, will probably smack him square on the head and say no.
Sometimes though, she’ll say yes and allow him too.
After, because Soma sometimes overdoes it, he’ll just gently and tightly hold her in his arms until she feels better.
He gives her small, gentle kisses and eventually she feels better.
“…My bad.”
“This is why I don’t let you! It looks like a love bite! What if my grandfather sees this!”
TakuMegu:
Takumi hates the smell of blood but as a vampire, he needs it.
Megumi will prick her finger and offer some of her own to Takumi.
Takumi tries to avoid drinking her blood as much as possible but sometimes the hunger wins and he’ll just gently kiss and lick her finger.
He never bites her.
Megumi tries to help him though because she knows he needs it yet HE IS SO STUBBORN.
“One lick. That’s it. Don’t offer me more.”
“But..!”
RyoAli:
ALICE WILL STRAIGHT OUT EXPOSE HER NECK/NAPE AND SHOW IT OFF.
“Ryou-kun, here~!”
He’ll say no though because it’s not right and he’s not hungry.
He’s a liar.
He does give in though when the hunger is too strong.
He tries so hard to not overdo it though.
One time, it almost looked like a love bite and Alice wouldn’t stop teasing him about it.
AkiSako:
Hayama and Hisako are often arguing about Hayama’s habits.
“You shouldn’t go so long without drinking blood!”
“Easy for you to say, you’re human!”
He hates drinking blood by biting the neck though, so he’ll gently bite Hisako’s hand most of the time.
He’ll wrap it up and bandage it for her later though.
Lots of cuddling after their bickering though.
IsaIku:
ISAMI REFUSES TO DRINK BLOOD.
So Ikumi will bring him raw meat from the market she works at and give it to him.
He’ll still refuse though till Ikumi forces him cause he needs it.
He’ll joking spill red punch on him and scare her.
“IT WAS A JOKE!”
“DON’T DO THAT!”
IbuRyo:
Ibusaki refuses to drink Ryoko’s blood and as much as Ryoko loves him she refuses to give him her blood too.
So, like Ikumi, she brings him raw meat.
Ryoko will often be looking and touching his fangs.
One time, she got a little cut by swiping her finger too fast and Ibusaki quickly jumped back.
He felt guilty after and Ryoko reassured him it was fine.
That was the only time Ryoko let him taste her blood.
MarYu:
Marui is not very clean at sucking blood.
One time he had little blood stains on his shirt and he had to dump it out.
He is often scared of biting Yuki and hurting her.
“You’re such a sucker.”
“…Was that a pun?”
“It wasn’t intended!”
Yuki will often clean up his lips after he sucks her blood though because he takes off his glasses so he can’t see.
MimaNao:
Nao will always be offering her blood to Mimasaka.
Mimasaka will refuse though because he 1) already ate and 2) is scared of hurting her.
Once though, he gave in and gently drank blood from her finger.
Since then, Nao is more considerate of how he feels because he looked very pained.
But Mimasaka is more willing to drink her blood when she offers though.
He shuts down all the stereotypes she asks him about though.
Bonus!
EiRin:
Rindou asked him if it was possible if she could become a vampire too.
Eishi wouldn’t tell her cause y’know safety.
Because of that, Rindou will be biting Eishi’s neck often to make fun of him.

NIGERIA POLITICS: Utomi, Agbakoba, Duke, Aremu, Float Nigeria Political Group
Olawale Okuniyi said, “We deliberated on reviewing the problem of Nigeria which is more political than economic. We decided it is better to find a collective solution to the problem that we should initiate a national political movement. “We decided to set up a National Intervention Movement we are to merge with all other formations to find this solution.”

Family Name Headcanons
Erina and Souma both keep their original last names. One of Erina’s conditions after Souma proposed was that she wouldn’t change her name to Yukihira. Growing up, Erina experienced a lot of joy and pain due to her place in the Nakiri family, and she couldn’t imagine living under a different name. Souma was also pretty attached to his last name, and its association with the diner he grew up in, so it was easy for the two of them to agree on this one.
Erina decides to give their son the surname Yukihira so he can move through the world with relative anonymity if he chooses. However, the name Yukihira has become so famous in culinary circles that it honestly doesn’t make much of a difference. Their son’s best bet when he doesn’t want to be recognized is to go by Saiba, which is usually only known by an older generation of gourmands.
Akira and Hisako also keep their last names. Hisako will always remain an Arato because that’s the name she earned her degrees under, and Akira keeps the name Hayama as a way of honoring both Jun and the Professor Hayama who formally adopted him.
The two of them originally didn’t have very strong opinions about which surname their children would take. However, Hisako’s parents annoyed her so much with their talk about their grandchildren having a name “with no worth” and a father who “comes from nowhere” that she decided the kids would all have Hayama as their last name. Their children will automatically go by Shiomi if they’re ever in a situation where they don’t want people to know who they are.
Alice and Ryo’s whole family goes by the last name Nakiri. After they got married, Ryo changed his legal name to Nakiri, but he still goes by Kurokiba professionally (also, Souma and Akira will always refer to him as Kurokiba). Alice thought it was important for them and their kids to have one family name, and she probably would have changed her name to Kurokiba if it had come to that.
Takumi and Megumi’s family is generally known as the Aldinis, and that’s the last name that all three of their kids are given. Megumi changed her surname to Aldini when they got married, but she goes by the hyphenated Tadokoro-Aldini in her professional life.
Isami and Ikumi’s family is known as the Mito-Aldinis. Both of them hyphenated their names, both legally and in common use, when they got married. Isami didn’t want Ikumi to feel like only she had to change her name because she was a woman. Their daughter grew up fully expecting whoever she ended up with to add either Mito or Aldini to their name when she got married.
Shun and Ryoko’s family is known as the Ibusakis. Ryoko changes her name when they get married, but she is still known as Sakaki in her professional life—mostly because it says ‘Sakaki’ on the labels of all the rice wine and fermented foods she distributes.
Zenji and Yuki’s family goes by the Maruis. While Yuki did change her last name to Marui when they got married, just about everyone in the world still refers to her as Yoshino Yuki. This is partly because of the alliteration and partly because that’s the name she became semi-famous under while working overseas. Their daughter, Ami, sometimes goes by Yoshino when she’s in a situation where she needs name recognition, but she eventually drops the habit.

Facts about ibusaki, mito-aldini and hayama family please
The Ibusakis
The Ibusakis are a very wholesome family. They settled down together early, and were the first married couple of the 92nd generation. Shun proposed when they were twenty-two, and they were married before the year was over.
No surprise, Shun is actually very good at woodworking, and he made quite a bit of the family furniture — including the kitchen table and porch swing — himself. He also made Ryoko a nice jewelry box for their anniversary one year.
Shun and Ryoko are a well-respected couple in their community. They have a family restaurant — known for its smoked dishes and fermented foods — that everyone in the neighborhood loves. Ryoko is only in the restaurant some of the time because she’s also working with her family’s fermented goods business and her own local Sakaki Sake brand.
Whenever there’s an event going on in the town, like a festival or concert, they always help out by providing high-quality food and alcohol (and pestering Yuki and Zenji — who they convinced to buy the house across the street from them — into getting involved too).
As soon as they’re old enough to walk, their two sons are out in the backyard, helping Shun cut wood for smoking. (They would both enjoy this chore a lot more if it didn’t take place so early in the morning.)
The brothers Ibusaki are very enterprising youths. They would often spend their breaks from school selling snacks and doing odd jobs for adults in the neighborhood so they could save up for whatever they wanted — designer sneakers, game systems, electric guitars, you name it. They developed entrepreneurial streaks at a very young age, and by the time each of them gets to Totsuki, they have an established side-hustle.
The Mito-Aldinis
The Mito-Aldinis are constantly living their best lives as a family. Isami and Ikumi enjoy fulfilling careers and lives of luxury, but they’re nowhere near as busy and stressed as people like Souma and Erina.
These two know how to enjoy their wealth. They are forever chilling by the pool at their California home, sipping Dom Pérignon and eating A5 beef. They have his-and-hers Lamborghinis (Ikumi’s is red and Isami’s is black) parked side by side in their huge garage...and they have their eyes on a rose gold one for their daughter when she’s old enough. Takumi finds them sooo obnoxious at times, but Megumi tells him not to be too judgmental.
After they first got married, the couple divided their time between Tuscany and California, but they made a more permanent move to Tokyo when their daughter, Isabella, was about nine years old. The move took place because Ikumi was taking over as head of the Mito Group.
Isami gets along really well with Ikumi’s parents — even her father who tends to be difficult — and they spend most holidays and such with the Mito side of the family. They often take out one of the family yachts and spend a few days at sea. Even though Isami is a softie at heart, he knows how to talk business and smoke cigars with Ikumi’s father. The old man finds Bella prodigious at everything he values (cooking, math, negotiation, athletics), so it’s nothing but good vibes when the extended family gets together.
Isami is better at a lot of domestic tasks than Ikumi because she always had paid professionals to do certain things for her. When Bella was young, her father would always style her hair before school and ice skating competitions and sew her costumes back together if they were ever damaged.
Ikumi and Bella are both extremely active, and they always charm Isami into going running or biking or hiking with them. He can never manage to put on his winter weight properly with the two of them around.
The Arato-Hayamas
The Arato-Hayamas are an extremely erudite family. Out of the entire 92nd generation, Hisako and Akira are the couple with the most combined university degrees (five in total). Their kids — and their friends kids — tend to view them as the smartest adults they know.
In a few of their residences, they have his-and-hers studies with bookshelves that stretch from ceiling to floor, as well as robust family libraries in the living rooms. They were the type of parents who read to their kids every night before bed when they were little; sometimes they’d read fairy tales, and sometimes they’d read journal articles. It depended on what mood they were in.
Akira features some of Akane’s paintings in his restaurants because they are quite good, and even if they weren’t, he would still be a really proud father.
When Hisashi — their youngest — is studying at his science academy in preparation for entering a pre-med track at university, Hisako cedes her medical library to him. She helps him study anatomy and physiology and makes stacks and stacks of index cards for him. She’s absolutely thrilled at the idea of there being another Dr. Arato (well, technically Dr. Hayama) in the family.
Even after being married for years, Akira and Hisako can never keep their hands off each other. They are forever ducking into corridors and making out when the kids aren’t looking. Even though they seem very reserved when they’re out in public, all of their children have caught them sucking face at least once.
Jun was always very shy and hesitant about calling the Arato-Hayama kids her grandchildren. When Gin and Jouichirou first referred to them as such, she nearly short-circuited because technically she wasn’t really Akira’s adoptive mother since her advisor Professor Hayama was the one with the resources at the time; she felt she didn’t really have a right to the title. However, all of the kids slip and call her “grandma” every now and then — Junko does it more or less consistently — and it warms her from head to toe every time.

it's ikumi's birthday! do you have any general or birthday headcanons for our girl?
Of course! All the birthday love for Nikumi!
When she was growing up, Ikumi never made a big deal of her birthday. Her father was very stern with her, trying to prepare her to lead the Mito conglomerate, and he mostly treated birthdays like just another day of the year. (However, her mother would always bring her high-end sweets)
When she was in middle school, Ikumi was always super busy trying to remain in Erina’s (and Hisako’s) good graces, so she never really had much time for anything but cooking and studying.
In her second year of high school, the Polar Star girls throw her a little surprise party and she’s so touched she doesn’t know how to react at first. She’s kind of like...“Thanks, but isn’t this kind of unnecessary?” and then Yoshino Yuki—who views birthdays as national holidays—lets her know that not celebrating simply isn’t an option.
That year she also gets a birthday present from Erina (a charm bracelet) to officially reconstitute their friendship, and it literally brings her to tears.
After they get together as young adults, Isami spoils Ikumi on her birthday (I’m talking foot massages and champagne for breakfast!) She always gets a little embarrassed but secretly loves being pampered by him.
When she’s old enough, their daughter, Isabella, starts taking Ikumi out for brunch and massages on her birthday and it becomes a tradition between them.

Reluctant Domesticity (Portraits of 119)
Summary: Sosuke sneaks Bella into the Polar Star after a party, and finds an unlikely ally.
After the heels of her gladiator sandals got stuck in the the mud for the umpteenth time, Isabella Mito-Aldini stopped and pulled them off.
“You sure you’re alright going barefoot?” Sosuke asked as she resumed her semi-sloshed stride across the campus quad.
“I can take the rain,” she said. “Valentino? Not so much. And where the hell did Akane go?”
She had last seen the pink haired girl when the party was winding down. She had been sitting on the kitchen counter, sipping her frosé, while Yukihira-kun fed her an array of tapas.
“Raiden just texted me,” Sosuke said. “They’re taking Air Force Nakiri to Seville and coming back on Tuesday.”
“Wow. No invite.” Bella shook her head. It looked like she’d be running the school for a few days. “I have got to get my mom to buy a jet.”
“I’m surprised she doesn’t already have one.”
She shrugged. “The price of jet fuel has been astronomical lately.”
The rain started coming down harder and Bella thanked god she hadn’t brought her suede bag out.
“You sure you can’t call your driver to come around?” he asked as they drew closer to the Polar Star. The Nakiri Mansion was still a twenty minute walk away.
“My phone is super dead,” she explained.
“Just spend the night at my place. I don’t want you out in this.”
She glanced at him incredulously. “Your friends would riot.”
“They’ll survive,” he said. “And they all fall asleep at ten thirty, anyway.”
They shared a laugh at this, and after a particularly ominous thunder clap, Bella gave in. The pair made it back to Sosuke’s room undetected, and he gave her a towel and some clothes to change into.
“You should go up to the third floor bathroom,” he told her. “Only Raiden and Maria live up there.”
“Got it,” she replied, thanking the gods that her cousin slept like the dead.
When she got back to Sosuke’s room, wearing one of his band T-shirts and a pair of basketball shorts, he had a UFC fight queued up for them to watch on his laptop.“
Bella grinned. “How’d you know I missed this one?”
“Had a feeling.”
They were nice and comfortable—aside from her wet hair dripping all over his comforter—watching people pulverize each other when Bella felt a slight tickle in her nose. After fighting it as long as she could, she turned away from him and let out three high pitched sneezes.
“You sound like a poodle.”
“Fuck off,” she said, holding back a shiver.
Sosuke made sure to drape the covers over her. “You think you might be coming down with something?”
Bella rolled her eyes. “Please. Germs fear me,” she said before sneezing again.
Sosuke gave her a long look. “You want some hot chocolate or something?”
She sighed then nodded weakly.
“Be back in five,” he said, squeezing her knee before heading down to the kitchen.
He was just grabbing the hot chocolate mix from the pantry when a voice sounded behind him.
“Ibusaki-kun,” Maria said as she entered the kitchen. “If you feed my blood hot chocolate from the box, I might have to end you.”
Sosuke shook his head. “I’m starting to see how you two are related.” Were all the Aldinis this combative?
“Blend cocoa powder and semi-sweet chocolate with milk and cream,” she explained, while laying the proper ingredients out on the counter. “She likes it spicy, especially if she’s coming down with something, so you might want to add some cinnamon and nutmeg.”
“Thanks.”
“Don’t mention it,” she said.
He did as she instructed, and added a shot of Fireball at the end because that was definitely what Bella meant when she said spicy.
“Um...did Raiden come home with you guys?” Maria finally asked.
There it was.
“He’s actually on his way to Spain right now.”
She nodded a few times. “Is he alone?”
He sighed. “Mari.”
“Never mind. I shouldn’t have asked. Anyway, good night, Ibusaki-kun.” Maria put her chocolate reserves away and backed out of the kitchen.  “Oh, and if you can, you might want to get Bella out of here before Utau and Yuna wake up.”
“Smart,” he said. “Night, Maria.”
She waved him off and headed back to the third floor.
“What took you so long?” Isabella asked when he got back to the room. By now her nose and cheeks were tinged red.
“Maria knows you’re here.”
“Shit.” She rubbed at her temples. “Did she make a scene?”
“She was actually really chill. Made me upgrade your cocoa.”
“She would do that.” Bella rolled her eyes, but then her expression turned pensive. “She was waiting up for Yukihira, wasn’t she?”
“Probably.”
“I’m gonna punch him in the face when he gets back,” she said, taking a sip of the hot chocolate. “And thank you for spiking this.”
Sosuke smirked at her. “Why don’t you just make up with Maria?”
“Because she’s a judgmental bitch.” She shrugged. “I thought I was clear about that.”
Sosuke just shook his head and pressed play on his laptop. “You actually paused the fight for me?”
She shrugged. “Whatever, pretty boy.”

Committed to Conflict
Summary: Part eight of On Casual Commitments. The friends reunite and  much Aldini drama ensues.
“I have to get back to the restaurant, you guys,” Erina groaned, even as Ikumi called room service to bring up more drinks and brunch foods.
It was mid-morning and they were sitting on the balcony of Hisako’s penthouse suite at the Hayatt, all but Alice sipping red sangria. There were only three days left before the pre-opening of Canvas, and the squad had descended upon the Bay Area early to surprise—and thoroughly distract—Erina.
“Let Yukihira handle it for now,” Alice said with a dismissive wave. “You know he’s just gonna disappear on you when Ryo and the others arrive.”
Erina pursed her lips at this, annoyed with him in advance. “I suppose that is true.”
“Of course it is. Now, rotate your wrist, Hishoko,” Alice ordered as she held the pink haired woman’s left hand up to the sun. Ikumi and Erina leaned forward to better observe the near-blinding light that reflected off the central stone.
“Holy shit!” Ikumi said, before bringing Hisako’s hand down to eye-level so she could further inspect it. “This has gotta be worth $15,000 US at least.”
“Twenty,” Erina said as she eyed it.
Alice, who had been there when Akira bought the ring, revealed a small smirk and casually pointed her index finger skyward. “Higher.”
“I don’t want to know,” Hisako sighed. As soon as she saw the robin egg blue box, she knew that he had done something crazy.
The ring was too much, too showy, too grand—three Tiffany Classic diamonds on a platinum band. Hisako would have never chosen something so extravagant on her own, but she endured the constant oohs and ahhs and holy shits of her friends, sous chefs, and students because she knew how much it meant to him to be able to spend inordinate amounts of money on her (and truth be told, the bling was starting to grow on her).
“For the amount of time he made you wait, it needed to be something spectacular,” Erina said as she swirled her drink around.
“If that’s the case, you must be expecting a whole mine full of diamonds,” said Ikumi who had at some point swapped out her sangria for a flask of rum.
Erina chafed at the comment for a moment. If Alice had said it, she would have snapped, but she was glad to have grown close enough to Ikumi to experience the full extent of her sass.
“I haven’t been waiting for that long,” she said petulantly. In the most technical sense, he had only been her boyfriend—it was still so weird to think about—for two and a half weeks.
“You haven’t been dating for that long,” Alice corrected. “You’ve been in love with Yukihira since you were seventeen.”
“That’s not...” Erina paused, the denial of a lifetime poised at her lips when she recalled half-drunk card games in the Elite Ten’s parliamentary office, sneaking off into the city to visit a new pop-up restaurant and leaving Hayama with all the paperwork, sitting on kitchen countertops taste-testing whatever madness he had come up with this or that time.
She remembered his dish for BLUE, the one that brought him to the world’s stage, the one finally made her give in and admit that his cooking made her see stars. She remembered going over the ingredients in her head that night before bed—the seafood, fresh legumes, and sun-dried tomatoes, the subtle hints of honey that permeated the sauce—tears welling in her eyes with the knowledge that the dish that won her had been for someone else.
Erina heaved a long sigh and finished off her drink. In truth, part of her must have been waiting for Yukihira Souma since the day she met him. Maybe even before then.
“New topic,” Hisako said, reading her expression. She pulled out a thick bridal magazine, annotated with countless blue post-it notes. “What am I doing with my hair for the wedding?”
Megumi knew that they shouldn’t have left Tuscany until the latest possible moment, and she had said as much. But still, out of brotherly love and an undying urge to prove he was okay with his twin’s marriage to his ex-girlfriend, her husband had agreed to spend a week at Isami and Ikumi’s place out in the Napa Valley before the pre-open.
When they first arrived, Ikumi had been sipping champagne in the hot tub, wearing a black monokini and eating strawberries off of a glass dish. Isami had been lounging in a beach chair, emailing the increasing number of restaurant managers interested in serving his Cabernet Sauvignon.
Although he was polite and tried—most times unsuccessfully—to keep an open mind, Takumi’s emotions always showed on his face. Megumi knew at once that he didn’t quite approve of their excessive display of wealth—the vast swimming pool out front and the his and hers Lamborghinis parked in a garage entirely too big for the sleek sports cars.
“Not even Erina and Yukihira are this ridiculous,” he had whispered to her on their first night in a guest bedroom bigger than their master at home.
Megumi chucked a bit at this. “Let them be,” she said. “You know Isami-kun and Ikumi-san have always been a bit um...eccentric.”
That was a wild understatement, she knew. The two had gotten married in New Zealand, in secret ceremony, without the blessing of nonna Aldini or the acknowledgement of the Catholic church. To this day, she knew Takumi resented that he wasn’t present for his brother’s wedding, even though Isami’s pursuit of Ikumi had almost put an end to the brothers’ friendship.
Things were much better between them now, of course. The brothers Aldini were two halves of the moon; they could never remain at odds for long. But still, Takumi did wait until Ikumi had left to day-drink with Erina and the gang to make his request.
“Isami, I need you to take over the trattoria,” he said, while they were in the kitchen free-styling dinner. “The baby’s due in March and we want to spend the first year in Tokyo to make things easier for Megumi with her job.”
“I wish I could help you, nii-chan,” Isami replied, with a truly regretful look in his deep blue eyes. He held his glass of wine up to more closely inspect the quality. “But we just finished buying a cattle ranch down in Texas. The Mito Group wants to try something new with the cows they’re breeding. We’re gonna be splitting our time between here and there for the next few years.”
“Fratello,” Takumi said. “I know that you’re enjoying this...” The blond paused, grasping for the right word. “This lifestyle. But Trattoria Aldini is the family business. Dad’s getting older. He can’t do it alone.”
“The Mito Company is also my family’s business,” Isami reminded him. “And my wife is going to be the CEO soon. I belong in the states with her, at least for now. If you want to hire another sous chef I’ll pay for it—”
“No one is asking for your money, Isami.” The words came out harsher than Takumi intended, but he still meant them.
“Nobody said you were, nii-chan.” He swirled the wine in his cup, sipped it. “But it’s here if you need it.”
They let it hang between them for a moment, the geographic distance and their divergent priorities, and also that which was known by both brothers but remained unsaid.
The older Aldinis, especially their father and grandparents, had never exactly approved of Ikumi—not when she was Takumi’s tough-as-nails high school girlfriend, and especially not after she moved on to the other brother. Isami hadn’t been on speaking terms with their father since a particularly colorful argument a few weeks before the wedding. The dark haired twin had made it clear that he would cut off anyone who disrespected her.
“You won’t even consider returning to Italy.”
“I won’t,” he replied.
 Another crack in the mezzaluna.
When Erina was finished with her day-drinking and wedding planning, she found that the upperclassmen had descended upon Canvas.
Souma was holding court as always, somehow managing to entertain them while moving tables and decor into the main dining room.
“How does one do that?” Tsukasa Eishi asked her as he watched Souma banter with his wife.
“Do what?”
“Extraversion.”
Erina laughed a little at this before following his gaze.
Her eyes narrowed as she watched Rindou sitting on the bar table, one mile-long leg crossed over the other. The red haired woman pulled a cigarette out of her purse, stuck it between her lips and had Souma light it.
“I hate that she does that,” the former first seat said, half to Erina and half to himself. She wasn’t sure if he was referring to the tobacco or the flirting.
“Tell your wife to stop smoking in my restaurant,” she said, only partly joking.
“Tell your boyfriend to stop charming my wife,” Tsukasa countered in the same tone.
Erina only gave a noncommittal shrug in response. Souma could charm the paint off the walls when he got in a certain mood, but he never meant anything by it. Rindou probably didn’t either. But still...
“I can’t believe those two used to sleep together.” It was during that hazy period between when he broke up with Tadokoro and when he started fooling around with her. Erina hadn’t paid much attention to it at the time because her attention had been elsewhere.
Eishi shot her a sidelong glance.
“What?” she asked.
“You dated Saito.”
“Casually,” she stressed, deciding that she would need another drink soon. “Besides, he didn’t last long.”
There was a pregnant pause, and then both of them started laughing hysterically. When Erina looked up, Kinokuni Nene was shaking her head at them.
“I expected better from the two of you,” she said. “Can’t believe Satoshi made me leave our son with the sitter for this.”
Suddenly Eishi blanched and started fiddling with his cell phone. “The sitter! What if she forgot to feed the baby, or if he got lost and she’s too afraid to tell me. Or what if he got sick; summer colds are a thing, you know and...”
At this point, Erina knew that he wouldn’t be good for any more conversation for the next few hours.
“You really are all parents now,” she said, thinking also of Alice’s pregnancy, and Megumi’s, and the fact that Hisako had always wanted children.
“Has baby fever finally gotten to you, Nakiri-san?” asked Isshiki who had miraculously appeared at his wife’s side. He glanced suggestively at Souma and then winked at Erina. “He’s good with kids, you know.”
“Extremely good,” said Kuga, virtually coming out of nowhere. “I tried to hire Yukihira-chin as my live-in nanny, but alas he refused.”
“Okay,” she said, her cheeks dyed vermilion. “We are not having this conversation.”
“But—”
“Nope.” Erina crossed her arms, her cheeks puffing up a little. “End of discussion!”
Just then Souma came over to join the ever-growing group. “What’s wrong, Nakiri?”
All was quiet for a moment, and then Kinokuni-san adjusted her glasses with a professorial air. “She,” the woman said, pointing to Erina, “wants to have your babies. And the rest of us want you to get on with it already.”
Isshiki and Kuga nodded solemnly in agreement.
When Erina was certain that she wouldn’t melt into the finished wood flooring, she grasped for a comeback. Even though every iota of her wanted to explode, she knew that going off would only make it seem true.
“I think you’re mistaken, Kinokuni-san,” she said, surprised at how calm her voice came out, how casual. She interlaced her fingers to stop them from trembling. “Kuga’s the one who wants his babies.”
They all shared a laugh at this and Souma went to bring out a bottle of Aldini brand cab sauv.
“You missed an opportunity there,” Isshiki whispered to her once he was gone.
“Oh, shut the fuck up,” she replied, her body still tingling with nerves. “Consider yourself lucky that I won’t poison all of you.” Hisako would teach her how if she asked.
She took a deep breath and rolled her neck, letting the last waves of nervousness leave her.
Three more days until the pre-open—ten until the real thing. After that she could let the knowledge that he was good with kids drive her mad.

I LOVE that vampire au. But how about one in which the girls were the vampires? 😁
Tumblr media
@ookami-chan
Coming up! Here are the guys and here is the special fanart made by @polar-stars! Go check it out!
SoRina:
Erina dislikes drinking blood most of the time. Mainly because it tastes so bitter and her God tongue doesn’t help it.
Soma will often be teasing her about it.
But he really worries because she’ll go awhile without blood.
It’s times at night when she is so weak that Soma will just reveal his nape and offer some of his blood. She’ll refuse but he won’t budge.
She’ll joke about how bad it tastes after but he simply states, “Don’t see you drinking anyone else’s though. Admit it, it’s delicious. *wink*”
Imagine meeting a family of vampires that are known as the most powerful bloodline.
Soma is indeed quite nervous whenever he visits the Nakiris.
TakuMegu:
Megumi has a hard time accepting blood.
She feels so guilty and she really hates being a vampire.
Takumi will often comfort her after Megumi drinks her blood because she bursts out crying saying that she bit him too hard.
Megumi likes to sometimes try to scare Takumi.
Like, she’ll wear a cape and go all Dracula-mode on him.
DOESN’T EVEN BLINK WHEN SHE POPS OUT AND SCARES HIM.
“You look cute.”
“No! Not cute! I’m supposed to look scary, Takumi-kun!”
RyoAli:
A lot of the time, it’s just Alice ranting to Ryou about how dumb the vampire stereotypes are.
She’ll ask him how it’s like to be human and how it’s like to not have to drink blood.
Often, she’ll whine about how the blood she gets offered at home is so bland.
Ryou will just look at her and turn to the side, revealing his neck.
“You do this to often, Ryou-kun..”
“I mean, it’s all for you. I don’t mind.”
He’s the dream boyfriend of all vampire girls.
AkiSako:
Hisako, as always, will be bickering with Hayama that she’s fine.
“I don’t need to drink blood. I am perfectly fine!”
“Fine? You’ve been tripping all day!”
Hisako is too stubborn to admit that.
She knows that she needs blood, she’s majoring in vampire anatomy and systems.
She’ll listen to Hayama though and prick his finger only.
He’ll ask her if that’s really enough for her and she’ll say yes.
IsaIku:
Ikumi has problems with overdoing it.
But Isami doesn’t mind.
if it’ll help her, he’ll gladly help.
But because Ikumi feels so bad, she’ll often go to the market and get raw meat.
She doesn’t like it because its so cold but she’d prefer this then hurting Isami too much for her needs.
Isami will show her the cute bandages he buys to cover up her bite marks.
IbuRyo:
Ryoko has a hard time talking to Ibusaki about her needs.
“You need what?”
“B-bl-”
She hates asking him for some of his blood but she can only take certain blood types and he’s the only one she knows who has that certain blood type.
Ibusaki doesn’t like her finish though.
He simply nods understandingly.
Ryoko will cuddle him after and say sorry repeatedly.
MarYu:
Yuki has this skill where she can taste whether or not the person had sweets or spices.
“Marui….did you have cake earlier?”
“..No…”
She always bites him in a new place, never the same area because it’ll make it look like a bruise.
Usually, she’ll bite him on the nape or neck.
“Marui, you should probably wear a scarf tomorrow..”
And she’ll neatly wrap a scarf around him like the good girlfriend wife she is.
MimaNao:
Nao will often jump on Mimasaka.
Unlike Megumi, she successfully scares Mimasaka with her Dracula-mode.
“Give me your blood!”
Her fangs are dull though due to an incident as a child where she got them stuck on a door frame trying to practice biting.
She laughs every time she thinks of that memory.
So whenever she bites Mimasaka, the blood just comes out as pin pricks.
Bonus!
EiRin:
RINDOU WILL BE WEARING CAPES AND BE HOLDING ROSES AND.
She loves to leave kisses on Eishi’s neck, each time asking a question.
“Will-you-offer-me-some-of-your-blood?”

It took him awhile to comprehend what just happened.
He felt like he was hit with a brick when he did.

Erina:
She had to ask Soma to repeat himself.
She had no idea what was happening.

HAS NO IDEA WHAT TO DO NEXT.
Like is she going to say yes? Is she going to hug him??
AkiSako:
Hayama:
He doesn’t hear the first time.
The second time though, it’s like a bus hit him.
RUNS TO JUN SAYING HISAKO JUST CONFESSED HER FEELINGS TO HIM.
“MOM - I MEAN JUN - WHAT DO I DO??”
Hisako:
SHE IS SCREAMING.
“WHAT ARE THESE FEELINGS OF LIKE YOU SPEAK OF??”
She clearly knows what this feelings he speaks of.
Hisako just shuts down and tries to calm herself.
RyoAli:
Ryou:
He just nodded at first, thinking it’s an errand he’ll have to run later.
BUT WAIT! He thinks and realizes that it indeed was not an errand, but an act of love.
He freezes on the spot.
“…Say it again?”
Alice:
She saw it coming, she swears.
No, no she didn’t.
Right at this moment she is dying of shyness and has no idea how to control her emotions.
The movies did not teach her enough.
IsaIku:
Isami:
Not to be cool or anything, but he saw it coming.
But it still KILLED HIM.
HIS HEART CAN’T TAKE IT.
SOMEONE HELP HIM.
Ikumi:
SHE STARTS FIDDLING WITH HER HAIR AND EVERYTHING.
Successfully tells Isami that she returns his feelings.
Before dropping to the floor in pure utter shock.
Her heart just went poof.

can you do some headcanons of akane, sumire, and bella's friendship? The trio is soooo cute
THANK YOU for giving me a reason to talk about my girls!!!
Bella cooks breakfast for Akane and Sumire almost every morning because she wakes up super early to work out. The other two will still be in their pajamas and rubbing their eyes when they come downstairs, and Bella will be frying up bacon, sausage, and eggs and playing pop music on full blast. She has so much energy that it’s impossible for them to stay tired.
Bella feeds the other two a lot in general because she’s often involved in multiple shokugekis per day and is always testing out recipes, and therefore always seems to have extra food on hand. Sometimes when Akane is stuck behind her desk with her paperwork or Sumire is fiddling with her tablet, she actually has to remind them to eat (very brashly, of course, as this is Isabella Mito-Aldini we’re dealing with).
Subaru, being Subaru, was very excited that his daughter had a close group of friends, so he embroidered matching fleeces for them and the girls slay in them all winter long. Sumire, who learned how to sew, knit, and embroider from her father, also come out with the occasional scarf or beanie for her friends.
Sumire, who manages her friends’ very busy schedules, blocks off a weekend every month for relaxation and spa treatments. She can tell just by looking at them exactly what services they want/need.
In general, Akane’s cooking style mirrors her father’s—with a strong focus on fragrance and spices—a lot more than her mother’s. However, if Bella or Sumire so much as sneeze one time too many, all of that Arato expertise comes pouring out of her and she has them wrapped up in blankets, sipping medicinal teas in about ten seconds flat. She is mom-friend to the max, but they love her for it.
Akane really likes to mess around with hair and makeup, and she will deck Bella and Sumire out every time they’re going to a party or an event. They allow themselves to become her guinea pigs with amusement (and always come out of her ministrations looking fabulous).
Akane and Bella are both very protective of Sumire, who they view as the baby of the group, and anyone who insults or threatens her will be dealt with severely. They know that she can fight her own battles, but they’re still gonna defend her anyway.
Every once in a while (like twice a year), Sumire and Akane will humor Bella and go running with her in the morning. By the end of it they are invariably sore and exhausted, but glad they made her happy.
The building of empires takes a substantial amount of work, so our girls divide and conquer. Akane mostly strategizes (she sets the goals, builds the coalitions, negotiates with upperclassmen and faculty), while Sumire handles logistics (scheduling, media managing, research), and Bella provides the muscle (shokugekis, shokugekis, shokugekis!) as they spread their influence across Totsuki.

So...I still can't draw, but I tried making Akane, Bella, and Sumire on Bitmoji (because why not lol). Bella's hair is supposed to be a bit curlier, but I'm happy with it on the whole.
