Argus is one lucky bastard because he not only survived being covered with necrodium, but also managed to find in the wild and domesticate a literal Primarch.

In his defence, Ferrus does enjoy little moments of silence once headaches get too intense and being around Argus ensures him some peace and quet. Reminds him of some calmer days on Medusa before he was found by Emperor and united with the Xth. Don't tell anyone tho. Even to Fulgrim, as he won't let Ferrus live that one down...
