Yes I already covered this and how Nessa’s car was vandalized. But I will always share stories about the gender cult threatening women.
A popular TikTok comedian has reported her car was vandalized following a series of videos she did criticizing non-binary activist Jeffery Marsh for allegedly inviting minors to communicate with him privately.
Shumirun Nessa, also known as @therealoverloadcomedyon TikTok, became the target of trans activist aggression after posting a series of videos responding to non-binary content creator Jeffery Marsh. In her first video, dated February 22, Nessa took issue with Marsh’s “therapeutic services,” some of which appear to be geared towards minors.
In Nessa’s video, she showed a few seconds of a close-up of Marsh wearing green eyeshadow, false eyelashes, and speaking through clenched teeth as angrily told his viewers to “stop telling trans people we’re inspirational.”
Mimicking Marsh’s pressed tone, Nessa tells Marsh: “Stop telling kids to go on your Patreon and chat to you privately without their parents knowing.” Nessa ends her video with a facial expression characteristic of her comedic styling, one which has earned her over seven million followers on the TikTok platform.
Tumblr media
Following her critique, Nessa became the target of backlash from trans activists, who accused her of mischaracterizing Marsh’s intentions towards minors and likening her words to murder and violence. While many replies to Nessa’s video thanked her for her cadence, others took the opportunity to attack her appearance, religion, and political views.
“Please show us proof.. or are you just accusing someone with hearsay? Allah would be proud..NOT,” one user wrote in response to Nessa’s February 22 video.
Another commented: “This is transphobic. I have made excuses for you when you previously did problematic things but this is definitely far past the line. You are spreading harmful rhetoric that gets trans people murdered.”
Despite being a Bangladeshi woman who was born in and lives in England, one user @bluebelleofthesouth2.0 responded to Nessa’s 18-second clip with information regarding “child marriage in the Middle East.”
The woman shared the screenshot of information with a caption addressing Nessa directly:
“I genuinely liked you before this. Now I see you so fucking differently. Jeffrey isn’t fucking doing that shit and until you can provide proof that they are SIT DOWN… But we have proof of what men in your culture do every fucking day to little girls.”
Another user responding to the clip accused Nessa of “tokenizing” herself for “white supremacists,” and suggested that Nessa “really need[s] to go with the ethnic project.”
One non-binary TiktToker named Chelsea Hart responded to Nessa with an emotional two-minute video which she has since made private. In the video, Hart proclaimed that Nessa had “put Jeffrey’s life in danger and put every nonbinary person and trans person’s life in danger with [her] behavior.”
Hart said Nessa’s humorous TikTok was the “third time [she] has seen this lie about Jeffrey.” Hart declared that “recently, a bunch of conservatives have made it a point to edit Jeffrey’s videos in such a way that it leaves out the context that Jeffrey is a counsellor and a coach helping adults deal with childhood trauma.”
She says she does not know how Nessa got “swept up into far-right conspiracy theories,” and swears multiple times while defending Marsh, insisting that his content is for adults and adults only.
She talks directly to Nessa, saying “you were so willing, without any groundwork, to label Jeffrey a predator which would put Jeffrey’s life in danger…”
Hart goes on to reference the murder of a trans-identified teen Brianna Ghey that took place in England and accuses Nessa of “putting another trans life in danger… because cis people always believe each other over us.” She continues lecturing Nessa and again asserts that her short video “put a trans person’s life in danger less than a couple of weeks after a trans person was brutally stabbed to death in the country where [Nessa] lives.”
“Jeffrey Marsh is a fucking counselor,” Hart angrily shares, demanding Nessa take her video down.
In response to the backlash against her February 22 video, Nessa uploaded her second TikTok on March 1.
In her video Nessa says: “…a lot of people made stitches of me saying I’m transphobic… they’ve even attacked my scarf, my religion… and these people have also said [Marsh is] not talking to the kids.”
To defend her position, Nessa pieced together five clips of Marsh directly addressing minors taken from his own TikTok page, adding “so yeah, there’s a lot of videos of [Marsh] addressing kids.”
The main video she takes issue with is one where Marsh tells his audience: “Your parents screwed up. It’s okay to say so! That’s why I made a Patreon.”
Nessa responds to that clip and asks Marsh, “So you wanna talk to kids whose parents have screwed up? Why? Why you wanna talk to these particular kids? Why?”
She stitches more of Marsh’s footage where he informs his audience that his Patreon allows them to “connect in a way that has more privacy, so [they] could talk to each other in a way that’s more open and stuff that [they] wouldn’t share, like, in the comments…”
Nessa invites Marsh to clarify on his offer of private communication.
“So you wanna talk to kids on a social media platform privately about topics that cannot be talked about in… comment sections… because why? Why you wanna do that? What could be the reason? You teach kids how to go no contact with their parents…is that what you’re teaching them on Patreon? Or is it this” she asks, as she points to a screenshot from Marsh’s Patreon where he shared a post headlined “more on sex.”
Then Nessa goes into some frequently used grooming tactics by predators which include gaining access and isolating the victim.
Tumblr media
Finally, Nessa shows a clip of Marsh in a tiara talking to his viewers and saying, “If you do not have a family that loves you… I’m going to be your family.”
Nessa boldly responds, “No, you cannot. You are a stranger on the internet. You are not their family,” and also notes that age restrictions can be turned off on Patreon, so children can indeed access his account where he coaches and encourages kids to go “no contact” with their parents.
Nessa ends her final video telling viewers, “you guys decide what you wanna believe.”
But on March 3, Nessa would report she had faced a real-world attack for her videos on Marsh.
Calling it her final address of the controversy, Nessa shows multiple clips of Marsh’s own content in which he repeatedly encourages his followers to go “no contact” with their parents.
Nessa responds to the clips and asks her own audience and to those intent on debasing her, “So if Jeffrey Marsh is really wanting to talk to the adults, why is… why are they already saying to the kids, ‘go no contact with your adults…?’”
Nessa even refers to Marsh with “they/them” pronouns in a show of respect for Marsh and his “nonbinary” identity and to prove that she is concerned with his content regarding children as opposed to his “gender identity.”
Approximately two days prior to filming her final video on the topic, her car was vandalized outside her home. She admits that she has no cameras to show footage and does not know who is responsible for damaging her vehicle. Still, Nessa asserts that this is her final video on the topic “for obvious reasons.”
Nessa provides footage of her car in the TikTok, showing one of the back doors had a piece of panel seemingly ripped off. She confirmed in the comments she is in the process of getting cameras to monitor her property.
Tumblr media
While Nessa received an immense amount of backlash for stating her concerns about Marsh’s conduct, she is not the only one who has expressed similar worries.
On March 3, the same day as Nessa recorded her final video on Marsh, screenshots began to circulate on social media from a UK school warning parents and carers about Marsh’s content.
While the source TikTok for the screenshot has been made unavailable, it was initially posted by a mother who claimed she had received it from her son’s school.
Tumblr media
Marsh has long been the topic of discussion amongst pro-woman activists for regularly denying the existence of biological sex, and even taking platforms to advertise feminine hygiene products.
In 2020, Marsh took place in a tampon advertisement campaign while calling himself a “non-binary person who does not menstruate.” Marsh claimed his intention behind taking the paid gig was to help end the stigma associated with periods. He said in a video: “And then the hate came for me,” and scolded women who took issue with his participation in the tampon promotion, claiming that they were “policing” gender by criticizing him.
In January, Reduxx noted that Marsh was well-known amongst child safeguarding advocates for his catalogue of videos directly addressing the “kids” in his audience. Marsh has encouraged people to go “no contact” with families or relatives who invalidate their gender identity, and has advised parents to provide “gender affirming care” for their children.
Violence directed at women who criticize gender ideology or proponents of child transitioning has seen a distinct uptick over the past year.
In November, Reduxx reported that mother and activist Jeanna Hoch was attacked after attending a Tacoma demonstration in support of women’s right to free speech. Colorado Springs Antifa published a blog post about Hoch on their official website in which her home address was offered at the top of the post, as well as a link to a flyer with her photo, full name, age, and address. The flyer also featured a QR code and a link to the blog post itself, which painted Hoch and the other women who attended the Tacoma event out to be far-right fascists.
On November 6, Antifa members distributed physical copies of the flyer in Hoch’s neighborhood and showed up at her home. Antifa members also took pictures of one of her vehicles and posted her license plate online. One of her vehicles was vandalized during the visit, with one Antifa member gluing a death threat to the driver’s side front windshield of her car.
Most recently, a Reduxx exclusive revealed a woman in Australia was left permanently disabled after being physically assaulted by a trans activist for her views on gender ideology.
By Yuliah Alma Yuliah is a junior researcher and journalist at Reduxx. She is a passionate advocate for women's rights and child safeguarding. Yuliah lives on the American east coast, and is an avid reader and book collector.
Early life and education

If Chelsea’s defense is that he’s a counselor then my question is he actually licensed?

What does it mean when you have a dream about dating someone you know
When waking up from a deep slumber, you’re supposed to feel refreshed and ready to start the new day. But that’s almost impossible when you’ve just had a dream about someone and are suddenly overcome with questions about it. It’s straightforward enough when your significant other or best friend makes an appearance in your REM cycle, but it can be a whole lot more puzzling when the star or even a supporting character in your dream is someone you rarely think about during waking hours.
What does it mean when you have a dream about dating someone you know
But before attempting to understand why you might dream about someone, it’s important to consider what exactly a dream is first. "A study done in Germany found that a dream is the equivalent of a data dump between the hippocampus (your brain’s browser) and the neocortex (the memory). So, dreams are the hippocampus clearing the browser for the day, prepping your brain for the next day," says Christina Jeffrey, a licensed mental health counselor and Assistant Director at Humantold, a New York-based psychotherapy service. "Understood through a more traditional psychotherapy lens, a dream is a conversation between your conscious and unconscious minds—an opportunity to explore fears and the forbidden."
So, what does it mean when someone shows up in this so-called mind conversation? "On some level—maybe consciously, maybe subconsciously—your mind is focused on a person, and your brain is dumping that image as you sleep," Jeffrey explains.
Often, this happens when there are unresolved emotions or dialogues that need to be explored; if you’re unable to do this when you're awake, the dream state will step in to help you express yourself, resolve conflict, or release emotional baggage. "But ultimately, I believe that dreams are about what we make of them, the meaning we assign to them, and the attendant feelings that arise along with that meaning," she adds.
How can the people you interact with influence your dreams?
If you’ve ever had individuals you’ve seen or thought about in waking hours pop up in your dreams, you’re not alone. Oh, and—get this—you don't even need to know a person for them to live rent-free in your dreamland. "What you witness or ingest by way of media or interactions with others can show up in your sleep... particularly when it is vivid or one of the last things we see in the day," Jeffrey notes. So, if you watch The Notebook before bed, don’t be surprised if Ryan Gosling co-stars in your dream that night (and what a dream that would be!).
To keep your dreams pure and unaffected by outside media, the counselor suggests setting healthy sleep boundaries for yourself—turning off screens an hour before bed, using discretion with what you view or read, and establishing a regular bedtime—to ensure that you’re getting the best quality zzz's possible.
This content is imported from poll. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site.
The tone of what you do can also heavily impact the tone of your dreams. "Activities that are relaxing and therapeutic like yoga, journaling, or spending time with loved ones can bode for a peaceful sleep, as they encourage stillness. These dreams can be vivid and easy to remember because we are in a relaxed state before bed," says Nicole Bowman, a certified dream analyst and Keen advisor. "Whereas, when we go to bed in a chaotic state, our dreams may be disjointed and difficult to recall, or we may not be able to sleep at all."
How do you know when it’s significant that you’ve dreamt about someone and when it means nothing?
It’s no secret that of the many dreams you may have throughout the night, you’ll typically only remember one or two, if any. As Bowman points out, "significant dreams are the ones you can’t forget—the ones you remember in great detail even after years pass."
But beyond that, it really goes back to what you believe and feel is significant. "This is one of those ways dreamwork often shows up in therapy: a client has a dream that leaves them feeling distress or confusion in such a way they need help unpacking the feeling," Jeffrey says. "We can find out whether a dream is significant or not when we are deciphering meaning by exploring and unpacking our feelings around the event or image." So, even if at the end of the day, you decide the dream means nothing, you’re still processing the feelings that surround it.
What does it mean when you dream about an ex?
Dreaming about an ex can signify any number of things, depending on your specific circumstances, but it can often mean that you have unfinished business. "Sometimes, the dream is about getting the closure you did not receive [in waking life]. If they were emotionally immature or dishonest, the dream may offer a resolution that they couldn't provide," Bowman explains.
It’s also possible, she says, that an ex may appear in your dream because they’re thinking of you, whether because they want you back or are simply reminiscing on your relationship. But, if you're thinking about sending a "Noticed you were trying to reach me telekinetically" text the next day, you should probably just let sleeping dogs lie. They're your ex for a reason—best to keep it that way.

President Donald Trump Pardons Sixteen People Including Charlie Kushner, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone
President Donald Trump issued another round of pardons on Wednesday to sixteen people, including his former campaign manager Paul Manafort, his sometimes adviser Roger Stone, and his son-in-law Jared Kushner’s father, Charlie Kushner.
Charlie Kushner was prosecuted in 2005 by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was New Jersey’s Attorney General at the time. Kushner, a top donor to Democrats, pleadguilty to 18 counts of tax evasion, witness tampering, and making illegal campaign donations.
Charlie Kushner served 14 months of a two-year sentence in an Alabama prison before he was released in April 2006. Jared Kushner cites visiting his father in prison as an influence for pursuing the issue of criminal justice reform.
Manafort served two years of his seven and a half years in prison after he was prosecuted for financial crimes from consulting work for pro-Russian Ukrainian leaders before he joined the Trump campaign. Special Counsel Robert Mueller also charged Manafort with two counts of conspiracy.
In a statement, Trump noted there was “blatant prosecutorial overreach” in Manafort’s case.
“Mr. Manafort has endured years of unfair treatment and is one of the most prominent victims of what has been revealed to be perhaps the greatest witch hunt in American history,” a statement from the White House read.
Trump also pardoned political operative Roger Stone, after commuting his prison sentence in July, citing the unfair investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
“Pardoning him will help to right the injustices he faced at the hands of the Mueller investigation,” the statement from the White House read.
Read the full list of other pardons below:
James Kassouf — President Trump granted a full pardon to James Kassouf. This pardon is supported by former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, Representative David Joyce, Representative Darrell Issa, Pastor Darrell Scott, and many friends in Northeast Ohio.
Mr. Kassouf pled guilty in 1989 to one count of filing a false tax return. Since his conviction, he has devoted extensive time and resources to supporting causes such as Doctors Without Borders, the Red Cross, and his local church and fire department. Mr. Kassouf’s pastor, who also writes in support of today’s action, highlights Mr. Kassouf’s “vision” to make his community a better place. Mr. Kassouf is dedicated to revitalizing the city of Cleveland and has been intensely involved in the Northeast Ohio community.
Mary McCarty — President Trump granted Mary McCarty a full pardon. Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and Christopher Ruddy are among those supportive of Ms. McCarty. Ms. McCarty was a longtime public servant in Palm Beach, Florida, serving as one of its County Commissioners. In 2009, she pled guilty to one count of honest services fraud. The Supreme Court has since interpreted that statute more narrowly, meaning that Ms. McCarty’s conduct might not be criminally prosecuted today.
Christopher Wade — President Trump granted a full pardon to Christopher Wade. Wade’s pardon is supported by Isaac Perlmutter, Mark Templeton, and numerous current and former law-enforcement officials. Mr. Wade served two years’ probation after pleading guilty to various cyber-crimes. Since his conviction, he has shown remorse and sought to make his community a safer place.
Christopher II X, formerly Christopher Anthony Bryant — President Trump granted a full pardon to Christopher II X, a prominent community leader. This Federal pardon is supported by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky as well as Tori Murden McClure, the President of Spalding University, among others. Mr. II X is a powerful example of the possibility of redemption. For a two-decade period ending in 1998, Mr. II X battled a severe addiction to both cocaine and marijuana. In this period he committed numerous state and federal offenses.
Since overcoming his drug dependency and following his release from prison for the last time over 20 years ago, Mr. II X has become an acknowledged community leader in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Today, Mr. II X runs a non-profit organization, Game Changers, which is dedicated to guiding youth to productive, meaningful lives.
He is also widely credited as a trusted voice of reason and peace in Louisville that both sides turn to if tensions arise between the police and local community.
In recognition of the many contributions to his community, in December 2019 Governor Matt Bevin of Kentucky issued Mr. II X a full pardon for each of his State crimes. Today’s Federal pardon achieves the same for Mr. II X’s Federal cocaine offenses.
Cesar Lozada — President Trump granted a full pardon to Cesar Lozada. This act of clemency is supported by U.S. Representative-elect Maria Elvira Salazar and members of Mr. Lozada’s community. Mr. Lozada, an immigrant from Cuba, started a small business cleaning and servicing pools in Miami-Dade County. Since then, his business, now a pool equipment company, has grown and employs dozens of people. Today’s pardon addresses a mistake Mr. Lozada made in 2004 of conspiring to distribute marijuana, for which Mr. Lozada took full responsibility, served his sentence of 14 months in prison and three years supervised release, and paid a $10,000 fine. Mr. Lozada volunteers on weekends at a charity mission and serves food to the poor.
Joseph Martin Stephens — President Trump granted Joseph Martin Stephens a full pardon. Mr. Stephens’ Federal conviction – a guilty plea in 2008 to being a felon in possession of a firearm – is predicated on a State felony conviction from 1991, when he was 19. Although the state offered Mr. Stephens deferred adjudication, he turned it down. When Federal authorities prosecuted him nearly 20 years later for possessing a firearm, he took full responsibility for his conduct and served a sentence of 18 months in prison and three years on supervised release. Clemency for Mr. Stephens is supported by business associates.
Andrew Barron Worden — President Trump granted a full pardon to Andrew Barron Worden, an entrepreneur who has worked extensively in the solar energy field. Mr. Worden has exhibited a decades-long commitment to philanthropy, including founding charitable foundations and teaching and research grant programs.
Mr. Worden enjoys the support of business associates and his community for this pardon, which pertains to a 1998 conviction for wire fraud. At the time, Mr. Worden had just graduated from college and made mistakes in running an investment firm he founded. However, Mr. Worden voluntarily stopped his wrongful conduct and began to repay his victims before any criminal charges were filed, an action his sentencing judge called “extraordinary.”
Robert Coughlin — President Trump granted a full pardon to Robert Coughlin. This act of clemency has the support of former interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeffrey Taylor and Adam Ciongoli, and former counselor to Attorney General Ashcroft. Mr. Coughlin pled guilty to a single count of conflict of interest in performing his duties as a Department of Justice official. He was charged for doing favors on matters before the Department of Justice in exchange for sports and concert tickets. Mr. Coughlin voluntarily surrendered his law license and was sentenced to 30 days in a halfway house and 200 hours of community service. Mr. Coughlin is remorseful and has volunteered in his community through organizations including Meals on Wheels and Toys for Tots. Recently, he was reinstated to the D.C. Bar and wishes to put his mistakes behind him.
John Boultbee and Peter Atkinson — President Trump granted a full pardon to John Boultbee and Peter Atkinson. Mr. Boultbee is the former chief financial officer and Mr. Atkinson is the former vice president of Hollinger International. Both men were convicted as part of an alleged fraud scheme involving Lord Conrad Black, and both served nearly a year in prison for mail fraud. President Trump previously pardoned Lord Black, and for similar reasons and with the support of Lord Black, former Assistant U.S. Attorney Ronald Safer, and David Nathanson, he has now granted a full pardon to Messrs. Boultbee and Atkinson.
Joseph Occhipinti — President Trump granted a full pardon to Joseph Occhipinti, a 70-year-old former Supervisory Special Agent with the Immigration and Naturalization Service. This pardon is supported by the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, National Association of Police Organizations, and Representative Christopher Smith. In 1991, Mr. Occhipinti was convicted of conspiracy to violate civil rights under the color of law and making false statements. Mr. Occhipinti had a 22-year highly decorated career in which he earned 76 separate commendations, including three from Attorneys General. Mr. Occhipinti’s 37 month long sentence was commuted by President George H.W. Bush after only seven months’ incarceration.
Rebekah Charleston — President Trump granted a full pardon to Rebekah Charleston. Ms. Charleston’s pardon is supported by her friends, family, and even the Special Agent who arrested her in 2006 for tax evasion.
Ms. Charleston is a victim of sex trafficking who has suffered a litany of abuses and endured a life of forced prostitution. Despite these hardships, Ms. Charleston has become a champion for survivors of all crimes, particularly sex trafficking. She obtained a master’s degree in criminal justice and has worked tirelessly to give a voice to the voiceless victims of sex trafficking. Ms. Charleston volunteers much of her time helping those who are currently or have previously been victims.
Rickey Kanter — President Trump granted a full pardon to Rickey Kanter. Mr. Kanter was the owner and CEO of Dr. Comfort, a company that manufactures special shoes and inserts for diabetics. Although there was no evidence that Dr. Comfort’s customers were ever harmed by the company’s shoe inserts, the company and Mr. Kanter settled claims in civil court regarding shoe inserts that were technically non-compliant with Medicare regulations.
It was only after this point when the Federal Government filed a criminal action against Mr. Kanter. Mr. Kanter pled guilty to one count of mail fraud and completed his sentence of one year and one day in 2012. Since his period of incarceration, Mr. Kanter has been a model member of his community.
Topeka Sam — President Trump granted a full pardon to Topeka Sam. This pardon is supported by Alice Johnson and David Safavian.
Ms. Sam’s life is a story of redemption. She has become a powerful advocate for criminal justice reform since she completed three years of a 130-month sentence she received in 2012 as a result of pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine. Ms. Sam has since dedicated her life to helping other women in need turn from a path of despair towards a path of redemption. Ms. Sam founded Ladies of Hope Ministries, where she helps formerly incarcerated women transition back into society through education, entrepreneurship, spiritual empowerment, and advocacy. Along with others, she championed the historic First Step Act that President Trump signed in to law in 2018.
James Batmasian — President Trump granted a full pardon to James Batmasian. Mr. Batmasian’s pardon is supported by Representative Brian Mast, Alice Johnson, and former Masters Champion Bernhard Langer, among many others from the South Florida community that Mr. Batmasian has done so much to serve through his extensive charitable works.
Mr. Batmasian runs an extensive property management business in South Florida. Over a three-year period from 2001 to 2003, Mr. Batmasian made overtime payments without withholding for income taxes or FICA contributions. While illegal, Mr. Batmasian recorded all of these payments and made no attempt to hide them when confronted by IRS investigators. In 2008, Mr. Batmasian pled guilty to willful failure to collect and remit payroll taxes. Mr. Batmasian accepted full responsibility for his actions, fully repaid the IRS the money he owed, and served his 8-month sentence.
William J. Plemons, Jr. — President Trump granted a full pardon to William J. Plemons, Jr. Business associates attest to his generosity and service to children and the underprivileged. His clemency is also supported by Richard Greene, former State Senator of Georgia.
Mr. Plemons served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. He has spent decades supporting the Boy Scouts, the Cure Childhood Cancer Hospital, and other charitable efforts. Although he was convicted of various financial crimes in the late 1990s and early 2000s, he has taken responsibility for his conduct, served a sentence of 27 months in prison, and paid $400,000 in restitution.
Russell Plaisance — President Trump granted a full posthumous pardon to Russell Plaisance. His clemency is supported by numerous local officials, including the Sheriff of the parish. The prosecutor on his case also does not object to a pardon.
In life, Mr. Plaisance built a tug boat business from the ground up that has grown into seven vessels and employment for over 50 individuals. He has also contributed his time and resources to local charitable causes. His Federal case, dating back to 1987, involves a single count of conspiracy to import cocaine stemming from one conversation in which he participated. The sentencing judge called the event “totally inconsistent with [Mr. Plaisance’s] life history and [his] character.” Mr. Plaisance is survived by his wife of 54 years, children, and grandchildren.
Daniela Gozes-Wagner — President Trump commuted the sentence and restitution order imposed upon Ms. Gozes-Wagner. Numerous former law-enforcement officials, including U.S. Attorneys General Michael Mukasey, Ed Meese, Ramsey Clark, and John Ashcroft; Acting Attorneys General Peter Keisler and Matt Whitaker; an FBI Director, two U.S. Solicitors General, and scores of U.S. Attorneys, among others, have supported commutation for Ms. Gosez-Wager, arguing that she received a disproportionate sentence. The Aleph Institute also supports her commutation.
Ms. Wagner is a single mother of two children who has been in federal custody since her 2017 conviction for health care fraud and money laundering. Ms. Gozes-Wagner worked as a mid-level manager for a company that improperly received Medicare and Medicaid funds. Of the individuals in Ms. Gozes-Wagner’s case, Ms. Gozes-Wagner was the only defendant to go to trial. She received a sentence of 20 years’ imprisonment and was ordered to pay $15.2 million in restitution. This sentence was significantly more severe than the sentences imposed on the other defendants, several of whom played a more central role in the fraud. Her sentence was criticized by numerous former high-ranking U.S. officials as disproportionate to her crime.
Mark Siljander — President Trump granted a full pardon to Mark Siljander. His pardon is supported by Former United States Attorney General Edwin Meese, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Alabama Congressman Robert Aderholt, and Pastor Andrew Brunson.
Mr. Siljander served in the U.S. House of Representatives for six years, representing the people of Michigan’s 4th district. During his time in Congress, Mr. Siljander was one of Congress’s most stalwart defenders of pro-life principles and the namesake of the “Siljander Amendment,” which prohibits U.S. funds from being used to lobby for or against abortion.
Mr. Siljander served a year in prison for obstruction of justice and failing to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Since his incarceration, Mr. Siljander has devoted himself to traveling in the Middle East and Africa to promote peace and mutual understanding.
Stephanie Mohr — President Trump granted a full pardon to Stephanie Mohr. Her clemency is supported by the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund and the Fraternal Order of Police.
Ms. Mohr was a police officer in Prince George’s County where she achieved the distinction of being the first female canine handler in the Department’s history. She served 10 years in prison for releasing her K-9 partner on a burglary suspect in 1995, resulting in a bite wound requiring ten stitches. Officer Mohr was a highly commended member of the police force prior to her prosecution. Today’s action recognizes that service and the lengthy-term that Ms. Mohr served in prison.
Gary Brugman — President Trump granted a full pardon to Gary Brugman. His clemency is supported by numerous elected officials, including Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, Senators Ted Cruz, and John Cornyn, Representative Louie Gohmert, Representative Ted Poe, Representative Steve King, Representative Paul Gosar, Representative Walter Jones, Representative Brian Babin, and Representative John Culberson. Others who support this pardon include Laura Ingraham, Sara Carter, Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs, Bernie Kerik, and numerous members of the U.S. Border Patrol.
Mr. Brugman served this country for eight years in the Coast Guard and then for four years as a U.S. Border Patrol agent. While protecting our borders at Eagle Pass, Texas, Mr. Brugman intercepted nearly a dozen illegal immigrants, pursued them on foot, and apprehended them.
Mr. Brugman was accused of knocking one of the illegal immigrants to the ground and was prosecuted on that basis for deprivation of rights. He served 27 months in prison, where other inmates sought to harm him because of his law enforcement background. After being released from prison, Mr. Brugman went on to obtain his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.
John Tate and Jesse Benton — President Trump granted John Tate and Jesse Benton full pardons. This action is supported by Senator Rand Paul and Lee Goodman, former Chairman of the Federal Election Commission. Both Mr. Tate and Mr. Benton were convicted based on indirect campaign payments to a state Senator. According to Mr. Goodman, the reporting law violated was unclear and not well established at the time. Each individual received 6 months home confinement and 2 years’ probation.
Charles Kushner — President Trump granted a full pardon to Charles Kushner. Former United States Attorney for the District of Utah Brett Tolman and the American Conservative Union’s Matt Schlapp and David Safavian support a pardon of Mr. Kushner. Since completing his sentence in 2006, Mr. Kushner has been devoted to important philanthropic organizations and causes, such as Saint Barnabas Medical Center and United Cerebral Palsy. This record of reform and charity overshadows Mr. Kushner’s conviction and 2 year sentence for preparing false tax returns, witness retaliation, and making false statements to the FEC.
Margaret Hunter— President Trump granted a full pardon to Margaret Hunter. According to former Federal Election Commission Commissioner Bradley Smith, the conduct forming the basis of Ms. Hunter’s 2019 guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to misuse campaign funds for personal expenses should have been treated as a civil case by the agency. Mrs. Hunter was sentenced to three years’ probation. President Trump previously issued a full pardon to former Congressman Hunter for the same alleged conduct.
Paul Manafort—Today, President Trump has issued a full and complete pardon to Paul Manafort, stemming from convictions prosecuted in the course of Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation, which was premised on the Russian collusion hoax. Mr. Manafort has already spent two years in prison, including a stretch of time in solitary confinement – treatment worse than what many of the most violent criminals receive. As a result of blatant prosecutorial overreach, Mr. Manafort has endured years of unfair treatment and is one of the most prominent victims of what has been revealed to be perhaps the greatest witch hunt in American history. As Mr. Manafort’s trial judge observed, prior to the Special Counsel investigation, Mr. Manafort had led an “otherwise blameless life.” Since May, Mr. Manafort has been released to home confinement as a result of COVID-19 concerns.
Roger Stone— Today, President Trump granted a full and unconditional pardon to Roger Stone, Jr. President Trump had previously commuted Mr. Stone’s sentence in July of this year. Mr. Stone is a 68-year-old man with numerous medical conditions. Due to prosecutorial misconduct by Special Counsel Mueller’s team, Mr. Stone was treated very unfairly. He was subjected to a pre-dawn raid of his home, which the media conveniently captured on camera. Mr. Stone also faced potential political bias at his jury trial. Pardoning him will help to right the injustices he faced at the hands of the Mueller investigation.
Mark Shapiro and Irving Stitsky — President Trump granted commutations to Mark Shapiro and Irving Stitsky, for the remainder of both of their sentences. Messrs. Shapiro and Stitsky founded a real estate investment firm, but hid their prior felony convictions and used a straw CEO. Due to the 2008 financial crisis, the business lost millions for its investors.
Prior to trial, prosecutors offered Messrs. Shapiro and Stitsky plea agreements for 5 to 7 years and 7 to 9 years, respectively. Both declined the deal and exercised their Constitutional right to a jury trial. Both men were found guilty and sentenced to 85 years imprisonment. This sentence was over 10 times the plea offer for Mr. Shapiro and almost 10 times the plea offer for Mr. Stitsky. Messrs. Shapiro and Stitsky have already served more time than their plea offers.
Since their incarceration, both men have become model prisoners, earning support and praise from their fellow inmates. Mr. Shapiro has renewed his faith in Judaism and taught fellow inmates the dangers of dishonesty, while Mr. Stitsky has reflected on the victims of his crime and the remorse that he now has.
This clemency is supported by the Aleph Institute, Alice Johnson, several criminal justice advocacy groups, former Attorney General Edwin Meese, former Deputy Attorney General Larry Thompson, former District Judge William Bassler, former United States Attorneys Brett Tolman and James Reynolds, Professors of Law Bennett Gershman and Harold Krent, and several of the victims.

Mothers, don’t let your babies grow up to be Trump lawyers.
Tumblr media
July 14, 2022
Surely, one of the worst employment situations in the world is to be one of Donald Trump's lawyers. Not only does the tight-fisted Trump have a well-documented reputation for not paying them, but as The Washington Post confirms, “He appears to treat them as disposable: useful so long as they are willing to do his bidding, expendable if they ever disagree with him.”
The prototype, of course, is Trump's attorney and fixer for over a decade, Michael Cohen (pictured above, regretting his career choice). In service to Trump, Cohen found himself disbarred, convicted of perjury and fraud, and sentenced to three years in federal prison. You'd think he would have provided an instructive example to others. But, no, there are apparently plenty of legal practitioners willing to commit crimes for Trump and suffer a fate of a similar kind.
Rudy Giuliani, once hailed as New York's former mayor, has had his bar license suspended in that state and ethics charges filed against him by the DC bar. Meanwhile, the FBI is investigating him for possibly violating foreign lobbying laws.
Jeffrey Clark, Trump's coup stooge, recently had his home searched by authorities in a pre-dawn raid in connection with his role in Trump's attempted power grab.
John Eastman, another coup plotter, also had his home raided by the DOJ and his phone seized. He's currently under investigation by the California state bar. In addition, Reuters reports Clark is being probed by the DOJ’s Inspector General and the DC Office of Disciplinary Counsel for aiding the ex-president's efforts to overthrow the election.
Lin Wood, a Trump election fraud litigator, was referred for disbarment by a federal judge. The Georgia bar has also filed a complaint against him.
Sidney Powell, another Trump campaign attorney, was also sanctioned and referred for disbarment, and the Texas state bar has opened a case against her. Both she and Wood were required to undergo mandatory legal education.
Jenna Ellis, yet another one of Trump's legal advisors, is the subject of a complaint to the Colorado state bar seeking her disbarment.
Anyone taking on the job of being a lawyer for Trump has to realize the guy believes his legal counselors exist solely to carry out his whims using whatever steps — honest or otherwise — are necessary. This is why the advocates listed above are all facing ethical, legal and, in some cases, criminal problems. Because, as journalist Marcy Wheeler reminds us, "MAGA is sometimes understood as Make Attorneys Get Attorneys."

Guidelines For Postpartum Ayurvedic Medicine
By Jeffrey Hughes
Post-delivery depression is a common thing that is usually assumed until it affects you or people surrounding you. No amount of prior preparation readies new moms to surprises as well as anxieties of a newborn baby. For some women, it is easy to overcome worries besides doubts brought by motherhood while others find it almost impossible to conquer those emotions. Even though this may be the case, very few of such mothers consider such as post-birth depression. Before visiting specialists, victims of such may undergo postpartum Ayurvedic medicine which considers healing during the first 42 days after delivery. Outlined below are tips recommended by this approach. Friends plus family are a part of quick healing after delivery. It is common for breastfeeding women to feel empty, lonely and stressed up. Giving birth comes with responsibilities which new mothers barely expect. Therefore, it is important to have friends and family around you at that time. They are a source of encouragement as well as great company. However, having so many of them at the same time is overwhelming. To prevent this, one may schedule when someone will visit. Metabolism is high after delivery. Bodies of breastfeeding mothers need a lot of energy. For this reason, mothers should ensure they eat healthily. Cold foods, as well as blended juices, may hinder the production of milk. Instead, moms can take hot drinks. Bone soups are most recommended for their ability to provide calcium. Meats, as well as other hard to digest foods, must be avoided during initial weeks. Moms can also take some ground ginger and lime once after or before feeding to reduce stomach upsets. For intolerant infants, this should be evaded. When it comes to proper feeding habit, it is necessary to create a feeding calendar earlier before delivery. Share this with relatives who will be bringing you food in shifts. It is tiresome to cook let alone think of what to be eaten while one is breastfeeding. Relaxing your body parts after delivery is necessary. Since one may not be strong enough to go on hard workouts, massages are very effective. Use recommended oil since lubricates are nourishing, grounding besides being dense. If you have a partner, they are best at offering help. However, in their absence, one may immerse themselves in a routine of self-massage ensuring a sufficient amount of warm oil is used. Every mom is worried about an increased size of bellies after birth. It is normal to have a loose sagging stomach which is caused by the empty space initially occupied by your womb. Therefore, breastfeeding women are encouraged to tie their bellies immediately after birth using a long cloth or tummy trimmers. Tying gives a feeling of stability and fullness around the abdominal area. However, for mothers who give birth through caesarian section, this may not be possible straight away. Enough sleep is key to a quick recovery process. Experts believe one major contribution of post-birth depression is insufficient sleep. Keen observation will enable mothers to learn when their infants sleep most. At that time they too can sleep. If this is not possible, then relatives or parents may help with carrying babies as mother sleeps. Like any other emotional condition, post birth stress is a medical state whose cure may be found in counselors. If after observing the above guidelines moms still feel fatigued, anxious and sad all times, they may consider seeing a psychologist. This should not be shameful at all.

Instructions For Postpartum Ayurvedic Medicine
By Jeffrey Hughes
While having a child may be an extremely exciting experience for some parents, no one is prepared enough for anxieties as well as depression that may come with it. It is estimated that one in every five women suffer from after birth depression. However, few consider seeking medical help since it is seen as shameful. Scientists came up with an approach called postpartum Ayurvedic medicine to help such mothers make a difference in themselves during the first 42 days of delivery. Following points explain activities recommended by that methodology. Usually, mothers feel empty immediately after birth. This is brought about by numerous reasons such as a very restless infant. For this reason, parents must surround themselves with close family members as well as in-laws. They help with house chores which may be overwhelming after delivery. Similarly, they distract one from psychological sensations of stress as well as sadness. Cooking or even deciding what to eat during breastfeeding may be undesirable among new mothers. Normally, they want to rest as much as possible and get enough time with their babies. For this reason, a feeding calendar can be prepared one or two months before delivery. This will show caretakers what will be prepared at a particular time. Abdomens tend to enlarge as well as loosen after delivery. This is because space initially occupied by the womb is left empty after birth. Specialists advise that mothers can speed up normalcy through tying tummy trimmers or large sheets around the affected abdominal area. For caesarian sections, moms may wait a bit longer before tying up.

A Licensed Professional Counselor West Orange NJ Is In The Business Of Mental Health
By Jeffrey Burns
Counseling works. There are millions of success stories that back the efficacy of counseling. Some of these stories can easily be found online. Most likely, one has family members and friends who have greatly benefited from counseling. A licensed professional counselor West Orange NJ deals with mental health. As a matter of fact, mental health is just as important as physical health. Without optimum mental health, an individual will have a low quality of life. Therefore, his life will be sad and meaningless. It will be filled with sad days and gloomy nights. Such a life is not worth living. A counselor is just as important as a doctor or even a teacher. As a matter of fact, a teacher saves children from the bad disease of ignorance. Actually, ignorance is not bliss. It is a bad thing. A doctor usually saves lives on a daily basis. A counselor also saves lives in his own unique way. He saves people from the various mental problems. Mental problems are at all time high. They have reached a historic high. There has been no time in America when mental issues have been this high. This should be a cause for concern for every American out there who cares about his health. Stress is the leading mental issue not just in the United States but also in other countries. A person who has stress or depression needs counseling. He requires the assistance of a good counselor every step of the way. If there is no counseling, it is likely that the issue in question can seriously get out of hand and end up negatively affecting the daily conduct of life. There should be counseling intervention as soon as possible. Unmanageable stress requires urgent counseling. Early intervention is the best. It will facilitate an effective solution. This is the kind of solution that will be permanent and lasting. Therefore, the issue at hand will be addressed for once and for all. The root cause of the issue will be dealt with and there will be no chance of it reoccurring again. Addiction is a mental health matter that is threatening the social fabric of America. Many American families have been separated due to the problem of addiction. Addicts frequently abuse their spouses. They also abandon their children. Addiction also has economic costs. American companies lose a lot of money every year due to the actions of addicts in the workforce. An addicted individual requires counseling. He needs to be counseled by a reputable and competent counselor. Such a professional will not disappoint. He will facilitate victory at the end of the road. Most Americans are addicted to alcohol. If one has to drink alcohol, he should do so in moderation. Excessive consumption of alcohol is bad for the health. There are many counseling professionals out there. Therefore, it is easy to be confused about the counselor to select. One should make an informed decision. For that to be the case, a person needs to have the right information. A highly informed person will easily separate the mediocre professionals from the exceptional ones. The last thing that is desired is mediocre counseling.

Self-Harm: Self-Care Strategies For Healing And Recovery

Self-Harm: Self-Care Strategies For Healing And Recovery
Hugo Coelho
This article contains sensitive or potentially triggering content related to self-harm. If you are struggling with self-harm or experiencing suicidal ideation, please call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255.
What is Self-Harm?
Self-harm is any form of injurious behavior that is deliberately self-inflicted. It can include cutting using razors, sharp objects or fingernails, burning yourself, hitting, punching walls or other objects, breaking bones, picking at existing wounds, and purposely consuming dangerous and toxic substances. Although self-harm can occur among children and adults, it is most common among adolescents.
Why Do People Self-Harm?
It is commonly believed that self-harm is a precursor to suicide, but contrary to popular belief, the majority of people who self-harm aren’t necessarily suicidal. That is why self-harm or self-injury is commonly referred to by clinicians as nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI), though individuals with a history of self-harm may be at increased risk for suicidal ideation, gestures or planning.
There is a complex link between suicide and self-harm, in that research reveals that adolescents who engage in self-harm are more likely to have had suicide attempts. Yet there are also adolescents who use self-harm as a way to avoid suicide; they may use it as a way to express or channel their pain without resorting to such drastic measures. In the controversial and chilling words of Hannah Baker from the powerful show 13 Reasons Why, “It’s what you do instead of killing yourself.”
Self-harm is often a maladaptive coping mechanism for deep pain. Those who self-harm are usually trying to cope with feelings of great distress they feel they don’t have the resources to deal with otherwise. Those who self-harm may do so to cope with interpersonal difficulties, conflict, emotional numbness, overpowering emotions such as those related to depression or low self-esteem. Self-harm can also be a symptom of various disorders such as mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, or an anxiety disorder.
Self-harm is perceived to be an outlet (albeit a destructive one) for extreme pain when there are no apparent coping resources or when perceived distress outweighs any sense of hope. It may also provide a temporary sense of relief in that cutting releases endorphins, feel-good chemicals released after physical pain. This can cause an addiction to the relief that comes after the pain itself.
Those with eating disorders often struggle with self-harm as well, which may be linked to the common theme of bodily devaluation as a means of gaining control.
Trauma, Bullying and Self-Harm
Self-harm can also be caused by trauma such as bullying, as well as physical, emotional or sexual abuse. For example, a 2015 study in the Journal of Child and Family Studies showed that there was a link between the experiences of being bullied and self-harm, especially in those who had depression.
Those with a history of complex trauma may also be more prone to self-harm because of instilled feelings of worthlessness, a sense of learned helplessness as well as the misplaced self-blame or toxic shame that can arise due to trauma. This is due to the continual experiences of being terrorized, time and time again.
Self-Harm, Tumblr Culture and Social Media
With the rise of social media, awareness about self-harm and blogs about self-harm have increased tremendously. Yet there is a debate whether social media has helped or harmed those who self-harm. Many social media platforms have come under fire for allowing blogs that have glamorized self-harm and eating disorders.
Websites like Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube have attempted to curb the development of these blogs by putting forth new policies that prohibit the publication of posts encouraging self-harm. For example, Tumblr issued the following statement regarding their new policies about self-harm blogs:
“Don’t post content that actively promotes or glorifies self-injury or self-harm. This includes content that urges or encourages readers to cut or mutilate themselves; embrace anorexia, bulimia, or other eating disorders; or commit suicide rather than, e.g., seek counseling or treatment for depression or other disorders. Online dialogue about these acts and conditions is incredibly important; this prohibition is intended to reach only those blogs that cross the line into active promotion or glorification.”
Unfortunately, these policies don’t necessarily stop glorification or promotion of self-harm from occurring, although they do provide more of a safety net for users who may be actively searching for ways to self-harm.
When a Tumblr user searches “cutting,” for instance, a message asks them, “Everything okay?” and directs them to hotlines and resources that can help them with the following message:
“If you or someone you know is engaging in self-harm, SAFE Alternatives is here to help: call 1-800-366-8288. If you are experiencing any other type of crisis, consider chatting confidentially with a volunteer trained in crisis intervention at www.imalive.org, or anonymously with a trained active listener from 7 Cups of Tea.”
If more platforms used creative ways like these to stop users from even considering looking at potentially triggering content, it might help to redirect self-harmers towards better self-care. If such websites also implemented stricter policies that monitored such content without users having to directly see and report it, online spaces could be much healthier and proactive spaces for adolescents struggling with issues of self-harm.
How to Stop Self-Harm
Seek professional support.
If you are struggling with self-harm, it’s important to speak to someone who is validating and trauma-informed such as a counselor. A licensed professional can help you find healthier  alternatives to self-harm. Under a counselor’s care, you can also discuss and experiment with less severe outlets for expressing your pain (such as snapping a rubber band on your wrist, holding an ice cube, writing on your arm with a red marker) which do not involve permanent injury or scarring.
Use mindfulness and meditation as tools to relax the body and mind. Speak with your counselor about  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Meditation has been proven by research to have a positive impact on impulse control and emotional regulation. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, often used to treat patients with Borderline Personality Disorder, can also be tremendously helpful to anyone struggling with self-harm or even suicidal tendencies. Learning mindfulness and increasing bodily awareness are key components of DBT, which can help you to establish autonomy over your body in a way that is empowering rather than devaluing.
Consider trauma-focused yoga and exercise as healthier alternatives to regain control over your body.
Self-harm can release endorphins due to self-destructive acts, but what about healthier alternatives that do the same? A daily exercise regimen can help to release endorphins without the need for any self-inflicted injuries. Trauma-focused yoga in conjunction with exercise and progressive muscle relaxation techniques can help to address and release what may be the root causes of self-harming behavior.
The bonus is that adding both to your self-care toolbox can also lead to a healthier lifestyle overall and help to alleviate depression and anxiety in the long-term. Consider taking up a sport you enjoy, enrolling in a dance class or scheduling a jog outdoors; make exercise a fun activity you look forward to so that you’re more likely to engage in it.
Learn your triggers and find safer ways to navigate them, such as “alternate rebellion.”
Work with a therapist to identify triggers – such as specific experiences, moods, impulses that precede self-harm acts or make them more likely. Then, brainstorm a “safety plan” with alternatives, emergency contacts, or “alternate rebellion” ideas (you can find examples here) for whenever you’re feeling the compulsion to self-harm, lash out or punish yourself. That way, you’ll be prepared with self-care tools should a vulnerable situation arise.
Find creative outlets for your pain.
Journaling, art therapy, blogging, listening to music or making music of your own – these are examples of ways you can share your pain and voice without having to suffer alone. Build a habit of using at least one of these creative outlets for whenever you’re tempted to self-harm. Create something beautiful and constructive out of what you’re feeling, rather than using your pain to engage in self-destruction. You are valuable and worthy of being seen and heard.
Join support networks.
Join a real-life support group for those with similar struggles (preferably one lead by a licensed professional). Follow non-triggering online communities dedicated to self-care, encouragement and recovery. Read books and watch videos devoted to exploring coping skills and affirmations that can help you to strengthen your self-soothing skills in times of need. Reach out to those who’ve been there and who have overcome self-harm successfully. You don’t have to go through this alone.

Self-Harm: Self-Care Strategies For Healing And Recovery

It’s Weird, I Know, But Here’s How Marijuana Money Is Helping Students
Marijuana legalization used to be a dicey subject, one that was considered impossible. But funny things happen once you show what a marijuana sales tax can do. The 2012 law passed by Colorado voters had a pretty nifty wrinkle to it: Some of the tax revenue from cannabis sales would be pumped into the state’s various school systems.
And Colorado schools are getting some nice stuff out of the deal.
According to the Arvada Press, schools across the state are hiring extra staff for “mental health, counseling, dropout and other programs that help students socially and behaviorally.”
Every Little Bit Helps
Now, this money is not a panacea. The $230.8 million raised by the state from marijuana sales since 2015 only accounts for about 1 percent of what the Colorado Department of Education spends annually on its districts.
But here’s the thing: Students in Jefferson County Public Schools dealing with emotional or psychological issues now have six new people to speak with. Kids in the Douglas County School District now have another school counselor. The list goes on throughout the state.
These things matter. More resources lead to fewer kids slipping through the cracks. More resources mean better outcomes.

How To Become A Stress Management Coach
By Jeffrey Sullivan
When individuals cannot meet the demands that are placed on them, it is often called stress. In some instance, stress is good for motivation, but at other times it can lead to unhealthy habits and strained relationships. To control anxiety, it requires a professional who is trained and certified to help people when they face such situations. This article will discuss the various steps that one can follow to become a stress management coach. To start with, one should have a degree in psychology as the basis of becoming a professional psychologist. When one enrolls in this undergraduate program, he can learn the various parts of the human brain and what causes the change in behavior and how to have it in control. Also when undertaking the course, one can learn of the various theoretical approaches to treat stress and have it managed. A psychology student has the chance to closely interact with qualified psychologists and be able to learn the multiple processes involved in maintaining pressure in a person. Before becoming an expert in anxiety management, one should have the right exposure of dealing with patients. It is vital that one seeks internship opportunities in hospitals and other institutions that have counseling departments. When undertaking an internship, one can create professional relationships with the experienced counselors, and they can help him with ideas of becoming an expert in the field. A degree certificate alone in stress management is not enough to become an expert in this field. One should research on the various institutions that offer psychology related courses and do as much reading as possible. Short courses will help one in learning the behavior of their patients and then being able to help them in any state. Therefore, it is vital that one takes many courses before he starts practicing as a clinical psychologist. Before one gets the permission to start practicing as a psychologist, he needs to be given the right certifications by the national licensing board. One is given an operational license after he has undertaken several tests and proven that he has the needed qualifications by passing the test. With a permit, one can operate anywhere as a psychologist. After individuals get authorization to be psychologist, they should consider beginning their work as a counselor. Working as a counselor or a psychologist will require that one works hard to get professional experience. At first, consider doing it in a more general form. This is aimed at ensuring that you become a full time worry control expert, and it is helpful in growing your career. Individuals should market themselves as anxiety management counselors as this will ensure that they tap on various companies looking to hire someone within a short while. Private practice will help one to grow a client base from personal efforts and also by getting medical referrals. One can also get employment in various companies as an anxiety counselor. Finally, one should keep on advancing his studies to get exposed to all the methods of dealing with anxiety. It is vital that as a career psychologist to dedicate some time to carry research and be able to move with the changing times.

Helping Children Cope With a Parent’s Death
But parents can’t raise children. Faculties must encourage educators and parents in their efforts by increasing awareness and providing education and training.
There’s much research demonstrating the importance that endurance plays achievement. But as Ms. Sandberg correctly points out, it is a trait that has to be learned and fostered. We need to support further research on how we can help children become resilient.
JEFFREY BORENSTEIN, NEW YORK
The author is president and chief executive of the Brain &Behavior Research Foundation.
Sheryl Sandberg and I have been members of a team that nobody wishes to combine — the young widows club. I was 37 when my husband, Brett, died of brain cancer in 39, making me and our two1/2-twins supporting. My children don’t have any lasting memories of the father, but like Ms. Sandberg’s children, they find comfort in stories and rituals.
He was also visualized by them in a safe place — the sky. While attempting to make sense of the lack of the dad, my son, where the skies was, when asked, stated it was. I knew that he love all over him and believed that his dad’s presence.
Though my twins teens, have considerable amounts of endurance, compassion and compassion, I would not wish this loss on anyone. As Ms. Sandberg can say, just like their daddy.
