--A ZoSan Restaurant on the All Blue--

I wanted to draw Sanji a restaurant on the All Blue. I knew I wanted it big, and I wanted to have Zoro living with him. But when I started thinking about what he would want, I realized I wanted to make sure it was also a home that all the Straw Hats could return to year after year. So it got MUCH bigger and there's hints to all the crew as well as people close to Sanji and Zoro. I had a lot of fun, I challenge everyone to find all the references!

All Blue Theory -

My theory for the All Blue is that it resides behind the guard of a storm on the Grand Line. A massive spiraling hurricane, impassable by ships. The storm itself pulls sea and air currents from all reaches of the sea, a natural highway for creatures, sediment, seeds, and weather patterns accumulating into one, twisting ecosystem.

The island is a coiled land mass, a mix of soil and topography threaded with each season one might find on the Grand Line.

To reach the All Blue, it would take an incredible ship and crew, don't you think?

PS: I've worked this theory into my Mermaid-Sanji, Zosan fic "Let the Ocean Be Kind" but that's not required to read in order to join in my theory!

Thank you everyone for all the love on this piece! It is quite dear to me and that makes me SO happy!! Since there has been interest, I'd like to share some of the lore here and explain some details!

After all of the Straw Hat dreams are completed and Luffy is King of the Pirates, Sanji decides to finish the final part of his dream and start up a restaurant on the All Blue. Franky is more than enthused to build it, and after days and weeks of planning- What was initially a quaint, homey locale turns into what becomes the home for all Straw Hats to come and go as they continue their adventures either together or apart. I like to imagine that at least a few months out of the year everyone gathers to catch up.

The bottom floor is the VIP Lounge - This is where the Straw Hats and friends gather when visiting. You'll see hints of Robin (books and tea), Franky (tools and Cola), Jinbei (pillows with his favored clothing pattern), Zeff (a seat for fishing with scuff marks from his peg leg and chalk of an eggplant/Sanji and cabbage/Zoro), and Luffy (life preserver with a King's crown). The First/Main floor is the restaurant itself. Sanji posted a sign (NO DUELING! Take it outside!) to warn any potential challengers to his husbands world title from destroying the building. On the restaurant tables there's signs of Reiju (pink drink with a swirl garnish, skull and crossbones in the pitcher), Mihawk (red wine, with a hawk on the bottle), and Law ("Gluten Free Menu" in the color of the Polar Tang). The floors in between the restaurant and the penthouse are the guest suites. You'll find windows hinting at Chopper (Sakura tree), Brook (music notes and piano planter), Perona (one of her hollows), Usopp (Pop greens growing in a window bed), Luffy (Sign nailed to a building "KING OF THE PIRATES APPROVED!") and Nami (balcony with the cloud windchimes).

The Top Floor is the Roronoa Penthouse - Home of Sanji and Zoro Roronoa. Zoro has mostly taken over the loft for his workouts, naps, and to watch for any unsavory ships. Other points of mention are the stained glass windows in the penthouse with the Straw Hat, Sanji, and Zoro Jolly Rodgers. The Sunny and Merry stained glass windows at the entrance, the graphiti wing with hearts (referencing Sanji's--the Love-Cook-- place as one of the Wings of the Pirate King). Luffy's tag on the bricks "LUFFY WAS HERE", and finally, the always-present Reserved spot for the Thousand Sunny!
