The Iron Colossus - Inktober 2017 #9

I'm so proud of this one :o

I managed to make it very deep and epic in a very short period of time ! \o/

The Iron Colossus is a giant iron and titanium automaton ten meters high. He is the guardian of the only access to the Drémori castle, only activated when it's needed to defend this fortress. He was designed by the Elidas engineers and built at the same time as the castle. Powered thanks to the powerful waterfalls where the castle was built, he needs a huge amount of energy to be able to move, so all the others mechanisms of the region are then deactivated. He can't think nor sense, so there are multiple metal pressure plates on the ground detecting where the enemies are so that the mechanism can "know" where he has to hit, and they retract when he does to not damage them.

The old iron colossus

So here we are ! Not as neat I'd have wanted it to be, it's quite sketchy and incorrect (The arena's size should be twice this size) but I'm very satisfied in it ! Getting well the mood and the aura of the place !

And the feeling of hugeness of this automaton, The old iron colossus !
