Like in the game and also previously in #229, Eggman whips out his Death Egg Robot once he’s cornered, with the added scene of him tossing Snively by his trousers at Sonic to slow him down. Evil is petty indeed. xD

And that’s it for this issue. My apologies if my posts about it weren’t as engaging or interesting; this issue is fun and I love the banter between the heroic duo so early in their adventures, but if you’ve played Sonic 2 a lot then you know pretty much what’s gonna happen at every plot beat. It doesn’t help that most of this echoes the pre-reboot’s Genesis arc, and looking inferior to those stories in terms of visuals. Not a bad issue, just one that goes through the motions a lot.

At least next issue we’ll see Sonic CD!
