Pass Book

I had drawn the sign of clubs as a talisman in my bank passbooks to bring in luck. For years I have been having that sign. And my bank accounts for years were literally empty. Yesterday I had God’s inner voice speaking to me and I deleted it and wrote God’s name in Hebrew and Greek asking him to bless my bank accounts with overflowing money.

For years I have been writing a journal and my thoughts and wishes were turned to deaf ears. Then God told me to write his name in Hebrew and Greek and I am doing it now. I hope it will yield successful results.

Abraham is the Old Testament patriarch who was asked by God to sacrifice his son Isaac.  On the way to sacrifice, God spoke to him and said: instead of sacrificing Isaac, sacrifice a ram entangled in the thicket.

Test of Abraham as an idiom stands for something unpleasant in life turning out to a pleasant and prosperous surprise.
