Expect Substantial Growth in the Compound Feed Market by 2033
The global compound feed market size is poised to exhibit monumental growth from 2023 to 2033. Urbanization and industrialisation are consistently mushrooming across the globe. The increasing global population is resulting in a surge in demand for poultry, meat, and dairy products. With increasing urbanization, the purchasing power of consumers is also increasing. When compared to conventional feed, compound feed is more effective. It is an economical method of giving animals the nourishment they require to develop and remain healthy. Compared to conventional feed, it is easier to carry and store. Also, it can be tailored according to the unique nutritional needs of various animals and the stages of their development. These factors are anticipated to increase the preference for compound feed over conventional feed, consequently accelerating the market’s development. Furthermore, ingredients for compound feed are readily accessible and may be obtained from a wide range of sources. For large-scale cattle production, this offers a stable and dependable feed supply. Growth potential for the market players is projected to be profitable as a result of the expansion of supply chain networks and manufacturing capacities.
In Asia Pacific, meat consumption is rising as a result of rising economic levels and the ever-increasing population. It is predicted that rising livestock farming methods in China, Japan, India, and other South East Asian nations would increase demand for compound feed. Also, the growing emphasis on producing healthier cattle is anticipated to boost market expansion in the Asia Pacific region.

On my way home to Australia, I had a British Indian driver for my taxi ride from Kent to Heathrow. We talked a bit about Indian food because I’d worked with Fijian-Indians and Mauritian-Indians for many years and they like to feed people, so I’m obsessed with curry. He wasn’t surprised when I said I didn’t understand why Britain liked to think they were so good at curry. He told me that all this friends and family who run Indian restaurants and takeaways in Britain use cream and sugar in their curries, to cater for the British taste.

Extended Research: 06-03-2019

Jazmin Indian Takeaway
Sadly this business is closed until March 25 2019, so no research could be carried out.
Jade Garden Chinese Takeaway
The owner was very busy cooking, so has invited us back to answer our questions on Monday 11th March at 2pm. He would not give permission for photographs to be taken inside, but will ask again on Monday.
Hangry
This restaurant is owned by Amelia Downton. We spoke to her employee Jack. Hangry (a mixture of hungry and angry) launched on 27th April 2018. Amelia worked in Ebrington Street and loves coffee, so decided to open her own place and have coffee on the menu. Jack was her first employee. They have a small staff of 2 waitresses, a kitchen porter, chef Simon.
Their t-shirts were screen printed by South Coast Rats.
There have been restaurants on these premises previously: Bistro 1, What’s Your Beef, Brown and Bean. The previous restaurant Brown and Bean had been a fine dining restaurant charging high prices, whereas in contrast Hangry is more relaxed in its atmosphere and menu.
Hangry sourced tables and unmatching chairs, painted the furniture in various bright colours, decorated with bright lanterns, fringing, etc. to make it a vibrant and fun place to eat. Mirrors on the walls show special menu meals, i.e, pancake choices this week.
A mural was painted on the main wall by a Kent illustrator, Alistair Knowles. The statement on the wall is: ‘Don’t get angry, get fed.’
The menu was set to be only vegan, but Amelia felt that this would cut down the range of customers, so there are vegan choices, but other meals are served. Hangry prefers to use local/west country products, promoting craft beers/coffee that are not usually in pubs and restaurants.Hangry endeavours to cater and create a safe environment for all-children, customers with special needs, well behaved dogs are welcome. They also do private hire for parties.Comments from Jack about the ethos behind Hangry:
Keep it fun
Keep it honest
Keep it cheap
Keep it simple
Jack states ‘Ebrington Street is a weird place’. He spoke of the positive community spirit. Hangry staff mix a lot with the Bread and Roses pub.
Jack, the friendly employee myself and Sarah spoke to.
Interior of Hangry- Possible interest to screen print.
