“Hey, Doll. Why don’t you join me for a bath?” Tynan asks, an easy smirk on his face. He likes watching your reactions, whether you’re teasing him or getting flustered. It’s cute, honestly.

Oh man, Tynan thinks. He’s really down bad. He didn’t really think he’d (1) want you beyond a physical relationship and (2) want to capture you so you’ll be wholly his, forced to rely on him and only him. These thoughts used to baffle him (and maybe they do still baffle him somewhat), but he honestly doesn’t care too much anymore. Still…

Tynan isn’t sure when his breaking point was.

Was it when he was first lured in by your dreams? When he first got a taste of you? When he first decided to stay for a little longer than he usually would?

You appealed to Tynan’s tastes quite a bit, more than any other human had, but that wasn’t his breaking point, was it? Your guardian angel and his obsession with you was intriguing, but that certainly wasn’t Tynan’s breaking point, either. Sure, your guardian angel gave Tynan some source of amusement and it was a surprise that you could even see your own guardian angel, but that wasn’t enough to make Tynan spiral.

His competitiveness with your guardian angel did make Tynan more touchy and affectionate (and wow, did he like touching you), but that wasn’t his breaking point, either.

Tynan seriously can’t wrap his head around it. Sex is casual. Relationships are casual. But here you are, making him want to get consumed by you. Here you are, making him jealous of all things. 

Tynan doesn’t like emotions or attachments – it’s pointless, really – but he wants to overload you with his feelings for you, attaching you to his side forever. He wants to take you back with him to his home so he can lock you up and hide you away from the world forever. If you’re there, he doesn’t need anyone else. He’ll never need anyone else ever again.

“Tynan?” you call, snapping him out of his thoughts. “Do you want me to wash your hair?” 

The question makes him smile. You’re really too cute. It’s to the point that you’re the only thing that matters to him.Yeah, that’s right – it doesn’t matter what his breaking point was. All that matters is that you’ve made him break his long streak of detachment and he’s not planning on ever letting go.

Tynan isn’t one to linger. Once he enters someone’s dreams and eats their sexual desires, he’s gone before that person even realizes he was there.

Sometimes, someone will summon him for their sexual urges, which does cause him to stay a little longer. But even then, he doesn’t stay for too long, preferring to freely go as he pleases.

Even when he was drawn to your dreams, he never intended to stay. Even when your dreams were the most delicious he’d ever tasted, even when your skin was the softest he’d ever felt, he never intended to stay.

Yet, as he sees you snoozing beside him, he can’t help but think that he’ll never be able to be anywhere else. He doesn’t really care for cuddling or aftercare or anything that comes after sex, but he likes it when it’s with you. You’re warm and just fit perfectly against him. He likes it when you smile and thank him for water or when he helps you clean yourself. Even when you chatter about things that he frankly shouldn’t care about, he doesn’t really mind it because it’s from you.

Really, he hates small talk. He hates getting to know people. He hates the burden of relationships. All of it’s a chore – a complete bore – to him. But he likes talking to you, actually. He wants to get to know you. He wants you to be his.

And these thoughts of his – this sentiment – should be cute in any other situation. But unfortunately for you, Tynan isn’t an angel or a human or anything positively inclined. He’s a demon, an incubus, and human emotions or consent or anything is trivial to him. His desires are what make him operate, what will always make him operate.

Carys, the name of the popular incubus known for taking his sweet time with his victims. Instead of draining the women in a couple of days, he does it throughout the whole month. It’s said that he enjoyed the taste of their prolonged sexual suffering. In reality, he felt bad over the fact that they had to die in order for him to get stronger. He would little by little take their life force so they wouldn’t feel a thing, doing everything they wanted of him so the women would at least die accomplished. Of course though, he was a sex demon —never able to tell someone else about his worries because they would laugh at him. So when the rumors about him being a sadistic savage rose, he didn’t even lift a finger to correct them, thinking it was for the best.

Truthfully, he knows nothing about why he became an incubus. All Carys knows is that one day he woke up and was put to work as one. He doesn’t even know about his past —if he had a family, friends, another name? All he’s certain of is that he wasn’t born a demon. Somehow he was created, which was weird because for someone to be an incubus, they would have to be born as one. Anywho, he was on his way to one of his victim’s house —a young office worker with no time for sex, except for when she dreamt with him. When suddenly, a strange sweet smell caught his attention. It was a scent so good and refreshing that he followed it. There, on the ground, was a hole. Shrinking his wings, he pushed and struggled to go through it.

Once he got out from the other side, he was immediately overwhelmed with the amount of different sights and sounds. Carys didn’t know where he was, or even if he was anywhere. What if he was put in a trap and all of this was a hallucination? Oh well, he’ll take advantage of it. He didn’t even know anything anyway, not when that wonderful scent he originally smelled was still there, filling his senses. Following it, he came across a campus, filled to the brim with powerless humans. Now, all he had to do was find the one with the smell that attracted him.
