I really love the Drowning Writers Journey in Alan Wake 2. Such a phenomenal performance by both Ilkka and Matthew. I love how he grows from being in despair to shouting with anger to sobbing, lying on the floor. I love the detail of Alan throwing the typewriter, in a fit of rage, and how he reacts to the cameras recording him. He’s eating paper and crawling on the floor. His words are rapid as he barely lets himself breathe when he speaks. It’s such an emotional performance that I adore. It’s very reminiscent of the Signal and Writer DLCs with TV Alan. Honestly all the Writers Journey videos are amazing. Alan going from riled up to sad and sullen. Him frantically writing and looking at the camera recording him as his expression shifts from neutral to snarling with rage. Ilkka Villi and Matthew Porretta are phenomenal actors!

So I accidentally found two audios from We Sing level I've never heard in-game and want to share this one because it's such a mood:

He really tries to act like this grumpy and extremely serious writer but deep down he's loving all that show, isn't he?

Matt recorded more lines for this level but it looks like they aren't random and need a specific trigger instead - maybe we can't be hit by the Taken or die or whatever - and because of that many players won't hear all his comments on the musical no matter how many times they play it.
