#Il gatto e la volpe made me sing like crazy

Off topic: I have watched “Luca” for the first time and I loved it
At last one movie that does not rely on offensive (yet widely accepted and deeply annoying) Italian stereotypes.
Massimo is the best character, period.
Ercole really is your typical small-town bully.
When I have heard “Il gatto e la volpe” I started to shamelessly sing because that song rocks.
Homemade pesto is a pain in the ass to make.
For non-Italian speakers: the key for speaking Italian is a sweet pronunciation. No need to stress on double consonants, focus on vowels (like trenètte or Giuliètta, instead of treneTTe or GiulieTTa).
As for my criticism: no one - literally no one - cusses like Giulia does. I know it is a Pixar movie and that Italian is the language of love and music, but it still can be harsh when needed. I am not saying they should have used curse words (even though in my mind characters cuss like drydockers...) but you could literally use ‘cribbio’ or ‘cacchio’ or, if you wanted to be cute and still mediterranean ‘capperi!’ (literally, ‘capers’, which is a very common safe way for Italians to curse). No one uses cheeses as a way to cuss, not even children...
