Sementara agensi sedang berkonflik, NewJeans dan ILLIT kedapatan tampil dalam satu frame saat mereka mengisi acara SBS Gayo Daejeon 2024 beberapa waktu lalu.
Interaksi NewJeans dan ILLIT saat sama-sama berada di panggung SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer 2024 mencuri perhatian. Pasalnya, banyak dugaan beredar tentang hubungan kedua grup yang terseret pusaran konflik Min Hee Jin dengan HYBE dan Bang Si Hyuk.
Baru-baru ini, festival musik musim panas besar, SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer 2024, berlangsung dan menampilkan jajaran nama-nama generasi terbaru yang paling populer seperti NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, NCT, ILLIT, (G)I-DLE, dan lainnya. Para bintang ini menyuguhkan penampilan spektakuler yang tak bisa diabaikan oleh penggemar K-pop. Selain itu, interaksi antara idol-idol top tersebut memicu diskusi yang luas.
Salah satu momen yang paling mendapat sorotan adalah ketika ketiga grup "saudara" di bawah naungan HYBE, yaitu NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, dan ILLIT, berbagi panggung. Sebuah video yang menangkap momen ketika NewJeans dan ILLIT bertemu saat ini beredar di media sosial. Sejak debut ILLIT pada akhir Maret tahun ini, ini adalah kali pertama kedua grup tersebut terlihat dalam satu frame.
Di panggung SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer 2024, NewJeans dan ILLIT akhirnya berinteraksi. Namun, suasana canggung yang muncul telah memicu banyak kontroversi.
Banyak netizen yang menunjukkan bahwa ILLIT membungkuk kepada NewJeans tetapi diduga diabaikan oleh senior mereka. Momen ini menarik perhatian signifikan dari penggemar K-pop karena hubungan kompleks antara kedua grup tersebut.
Di sisi lain, sikap ramah Hanni terhadap member ILLIT juga tertangkap kamera. Dari sudut pandang ini, ILLIT disebut-sebut bersemangat saat bertemu NewJeans.
Menurut netizen, pernyataan Min Hee Jin tentang ILLIT adalah alasan mengapa situasi grup dianggap canggung. Hubungan mereka menjadi tidak nyaman karena keretakan yang disebabkan oleh kontroversi plagiarisme tersebut.
Seperti diketahui, CEO Min menuding ILLIT sebagai produk jiplakan NewJeans. Hal ini telah dibantah agensi ILLIT, BELIFT LAB yang iga menggugat Min Hee Jin atas pencemaran nama baik.
Di tengah kisruh antara agensi dan petinggi label, diduga para artis menahan diri dari menunjukkan sikap yang dapat memengaruhi opini semetnara perusahaan-perusahaan tersebut terlibat dalam sengketa hukum.
