I saw this tweet bc w*lbur was trending (I wanted to know why) and I genuinely want to know why ppl think this. Why do you prefer a bland version of an interesting character who was carried by fanon infantilizing him and sanding out all of his actually interesting traits/characteristics? Like im sorry if hes ur fave or u like him better that fine obviously! But this is my honest opinion I genuinely think ghostbur is a worse version of alivebur and ppl only like him bc he was easy to infantilize and didnt hurt their faves (c!tommy cough cough).

LOOK. I know I love ghostbur with all of my heart, but revivebur was so interesting and complex with how he was written TOO guys! I love them both so much. Ghostbur had everything that Wil had before pogtopia, and sadly because of it, the fandom treats him like he is a child, he is not however, and suffers due to how he was made. Everyone seemed to have hated him, except for a few people, he was made as an replacement to Wilbur whilst he was dead. He is the past that never left. And that's the tragedy of it. Ghostbur and everyone can't move on if he was there. And so in a way, it was necessary that Revivebur was revived. I am still salty over his ending, and over Revivebur's ending. I just wanted them happy man. I wish that they got their own happy endings and epilogues..
