hello, there is a fic of @cutegirlmayra ‘s i cannot find :((( it is about sonic leaving, i think in the snow? and amy waiting for him but eventually giving up. years pass and he comes back and she works as a waitress. he disguises himself as to not be recognized by her and she is not pleased to see him when she dis. after that there’s a confession and i believe he says something along the lines of “the moment you cried when your flowers died”. turns out sonic had watched over her secretly as she got her first job etc and it was a really sweet story that i wish i could read again… pls help me find it :( mayra has lovely writing i think that was one of her best stories and possibly my favorite 😭😭😭💔 i would be grateful forever-

An emotional moment after Rusty releases the flicky inside of her. She possibly can't even she'd tears from how her body was... don't even want to think about what those bastards did to her.

One of the few moments where Sonic being the one who tears up would add to a bittersweet moment, with Rusty comforting him because she can finally be free.

What is the origin of your second profile : IdontworkforSEGA ?

@cutegirlmayra: "I originally created this secondary account to host a library of my Tumblr Prompts for better access to my readers/followers who were unaware I had exclusive stories posted here instead of just my central writing sites, being: Wattpad, Deviantart, and recently, Archive of Our Own. But in order to collect all those prompts, I had the amazing help of wonderful volunteers who were already going through my archive for more story goodness send me links so I could collect them more smoothly. During the awful events of the pandemic, I was fortunate enough to organize those said prompts into a series collection. "Lavinagain" is mascot of this channel as "Lavinya" is the mascot of my primary channel, he's meant to be a 'Librarian' who's also a bit of an 'adjoining piece' to my main channel. In other words, I made him a persona for this channel, having him be a hired 'super fan' who also has a crush on my main channel xD I thought, since it's a shipping fandom I'm attracting to my channels anyway, I might as well keep it ✨interesting✨ lol. So the couple hints of CutegirlmayraxIdontworkforsega became it's own little running meme/joke for the two channels."

When prompts reopen, they’re closed right now, but I do write full-length Fanfiction on my various writing sites! (Wattpad, DA, Archive, Fanfiction, Fictionpress, etc.) I’ve spoken with Tumblr support about why my prompts aren’t coming up in the tag, and they say they’re working on it. :\

Anyway! If you’re curious! Just type in Sonic or the ship you like in my search, or check out @idontworkforsega which has my full prompt library! (Thanks to my wonderful Cuties/followers who searched my archive top to bottom and double-checked to make sure all 900+ prompts were reblogged and able to be transferred to fanfiction! Still working on getting all of them there ;) so far, we have gotten to the 150′s!)

I’m still very dedicated to writing and am currently updating my fanfiction, along with writing the 147 inbox requests I have, so please be patient and support me! You guuysssss, thank you SO MUCH! I also vaguely remember and for the future, all of my new and old works are now uploaded (yes, all 700+ of them!!!) Onto my writing sites and idontworkforsega! I'm still wildly searching for any lost or missing fics me and the other wonderful readers out there havent found and retrieved/saved yet.

As for what I'm doing now, I'm trying to write original works as well as edit my fanfictions for new updates and possible new stories! (Like the shadamy one I promised many years ago ^^; )

Life is hectic as we get older, but I'm still working on the prompts WHICH ARE ON SHUTDOWN MEANING PLEASE DONT SEND ANYMORE but it fills my heart with glee to see my stories were able to touch other people's lives!

I read this a day or two ago and since then I've been thinking about it a lot. I remember the exact fic you're looking for, but where do we start searching Mayra's vast archive? :P

Anyway, after searching around for a bit and trying to keep myself from crying after revisiting such old memories, I found it:

“I ran to your window in the deepest of nights, staring in and making sure you were alright. Some days I watched from a distance to see you lose your first job. The moment you cried when your garden died.”

I can't believe it's been almost 5 years since that prompt! Back then I wasn't running this blog in particular, but I was around Mayra's stuff and you bet I READ IT THE VERY DAY IT WAS POSTED. That 2016-2018 era was my absolute favorite, every day I would check for new prompts and stuff, lots of incredible stories.

Anyway, thanks for the trip down memory lane, Anon. It's been years since I last read that prompt, and HOOOLY crap I forgot a lot of details, it was like reading it for the first time all over again, and feeling the same things too.

(Also, shout-out to Timeless Game, I revisited it while searching for that prompt and my goodness it's still one of my all-time favorites, period. I still remember the first night I read it)
