Forever the most tragic thing about mbav is how it treated sarah and all the girl characters. Literally sm iconic girls, but caught so much in 2010s girlboss feminism that, well, only sees girls as worth while when we flex our masculinity. We arent allowed to be weak or cry, not for long.

And man that one 3 hour long video on mbav that says "Sarah just punches and kills things" will forever be on my nerves.

The writers couldnt figure out what to do with her BESIDES have her always in conflict. Shes only allowed to be happy under a spell. They throw away her main though line with her struggles with vampirism and gets resolved off screen. And then the vampire consile just harasses her for all of s2, like why whyy...
