not everything has to be subversive actually. sometimes things are just good because of the bones they were built on.

But a different one. With a different name even.#Same with “yes but what if your romance story ended platonically/unrequited/etc.” once again. That would be a different story.#It’s fine to write different stories. But some of us know exactly what we are about and came to specific tropes for a reason.#Idk. At this point I feel like it would be more subversive to see a normal fucking trope with no twists but I’m in a mood tonight.#thoughts#She speaks
